Iran Supreme Leader’s Rep. Calls for Destruction of Israel
|
|
Iranian dissident: 'The more the mullahs spread hate speech against the Jewish State of Israel, the more Iranian people realize that Israel is our friend."
Lotfollah Dezhkam, the representative for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Fars Province, urged the elimination of Israel in a Friday sermon in the city of Shiraz.
The Islamic clerical firebrand declared, “The global arrogance led by America with complicity of Israel seeks to delay the realization of an important issue, which is the destruction of the Zionist regime.” Kian Meli, a news outlet opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran, quoted his remarks. Three regime-controlled news organizations – Islamic Republic News Agency, Fars News and Tasnim – reported on his speech.
Sheina Vojoudi, an Iranian dissident who fled to Germany to escape persecution, said, “The more the mullahs spread hate speech against the Jewish State of Israel, the more Iranian people realize that Israel is our friend, because the regime in Iran is the only enemy that we have. His hate speech against Israel is not surprising.... Ali Khamenei as the leader of the Islamic Republic calls for the annihilation of Israel and Dezhkam is his representative.” Read more

- Abba, this proclamation by this Iranian leader to destroy the “Zionist regime," shows us that truly we are seeing the spirit of the anti-Christ! Abba, we stand against this spirit in the name of Yeshua, and we bless Israel! We speak protection over the nation and people of Israel! We ask that the IDF would stand strong against the Iranian regime! We ask that PM Naphtali Bennett would take this matter very seriously and would forge plans to protect the nation! We ask that the Iranian people would be FREE of this dictatorship and that the Iranian people would stand strong with Israel!
- "He delivers me from my enemies.
You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man."
(Psalm 18:48:)

2. Iran begins war games near tense Azerbaijan border, citing ‘Zionist’ presence - Times of Israel
Iran’s national army began exercises on Friday near its border with Azerbaijan, state TV reported, putting on a display of military capabilities near a neighbor it is increasingly skeptical of for its ties to the West and Israel.
Artillery, drones and helicopters will participate in the drills, the report said, without elaborating on how long they would last or where exactly they would be held. Iran occasionally holds such events, saying it wants to assess combat readiness and demonstrate capabilities.
The exercises come amid escalating tensions along the border. Iran is wary of Azerbaijan in particular for its deep military cooperation with the Islamic Republic’s rival Israel, and on Thursday voiced its concerns to Azerbaijani ambassador in Tehran Ali Alizadeh.(

4. Palestinians down Israeli quadcopter in West Bank - Jerusalem Post
Palestinians downed an Israeli quadcopter which was dropping tear gas on rioters in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the West Bank on Friday, according to Palestinian reports. The drone was reportedly taken by the Palestinians to the town afterwards.
The IDF announced after the incident that a quadcopter fell during riots near Beita due to a malfunction. There is no concern about information being leaked as a result.
This is the second Israeli drone to be downed in the past two days. On Thursday, an IDF quadcopter was downed by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah claims it shot down the drone.
Last week, an IDF quadcopter fell due to a malfunction in Syrian territory. The incident is being investigated. (Read more)

5. UN calls for water equity between Israelis and Palestinians - Jerusalem Post
The United Nations called for equitable distribution of water between Israelis and Palestinians, in a report delivered Friday during the 48th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
“It is estimated that nearly 660,000 Palestinians [in the West Bank] have limited access to water, with 420,000 consuming less than 50 liters on average daily per capita, which is well below the 100 liters recommended by the World Health Organization,” the report stated.
The report was authored by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet and her office. It was delivered by her office’s Director of Field Operations and Technical Cooperation Division Christian Salazar Volkmann.
It noted that the situation was particularly problematic in both Gaza and in Area C of the West Bank.
“Roughly 14,000 Palestinians in approximately 180 communities in Area C have no connection to a water network, are without water infrastructure, and are considered at high risk for water scarcity,” the report stated. (Read more)

1. Justice Kavanaugh tests positive for COVID, has no symptoms - AP
Justice Brett Kavanaugh tested positive for COVID-19 despite being vaccinated, the Supreme Court said Friday. The court said the 54-year-old justice has no symptoms. It’s the first time the court has reported that a sitting justice has tested positive for the virus, although Amy Coney Barrett had COVID-19 last year before she joined the high court.
Kavanaugh was the only one of the nine justices to skip Friday’s ceremonial swearing-in for Barrett, an event that itself was delayed nearly a year because of the coronavirus pandemic. All the justices were tested in advance of the ceremony. They also had been tested before they met in private on Monday to discuss adding additional cases to their docket. All were negative then, the court said.
Kavanaugh will participate remotely from his home next week during oral arguments, the court said. The new term begins Monday, when most of the justices will return to the courtroom to hear arguments after an 18-month absence due to the pandemic.
Oral arguments scheduled for October, November and December will be in the courtroom but those sessions will not be open to the public. Attorneys who argue before the court will have to have a negative COVID test to participate in person and wear a mask when not arguing. The public will continue to be able to listen to live broadcasts of the arguments. (Read more)
|
|
- Father, we pray for a swift recovery for Justice Kavanaugh. Give strength, wisdom, and courage to the Justices as they begin oral arguments this month.
- "Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” (Deuteronomy 4:6)

2. Supreme Court declines to block New York City's COVID-19 vaccine mandate for teachers - USA Today
WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Friday declined to block New York City's requirement that public school teachers receive COVID-19 vaccinations, marking the second time the nation's high court has declined to wade into the issue. A group of teachers in New York had asked the Supreme Court for an emergency injunction to block implementation of the mandate, which required them to receive a shot by 5 p.m. Friday or face suspension without pay when schools open Monday.
Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor denied the emergency request without comment. A federal appeals court earlier in the week permitted New York's mandate.
"Our vaccine requirement for NYC school staff has now been reviewed in state courts, federal courts, and the Supreme Court and upheld," New York City Health Commissioner Dave Chokshi posted. "Vaccination will keep students and staff safer."
An attorney for the teachers said they are disappointed by the decision but that "the fight for our clients’ due process and those similarly situated will go on." The attorney, Vinoo Varghese, said the outcome meant "the children will suffer and so will fantastic public employees."
|
|
- Almighty God, we pray for freedom from this incessant, dominate, ungodly and cruel demand for certain groups to be vaccinated. God, we pray You fight for the other groups to be given the right to their own personal decision whether they choose or not choose to take any vaccine. Deliver all of us worldwide to be released from this dogmatic control of evil being forced upon us. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them:; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid." (Ezekiel 34:28)

3. Sen. Ron Johnson: There is not an FDA approved COVID vaccine in the US - Fox Nws
SEN. RON JOHNSON: We do not have an FDA-approved vaccine being administered in the U.S. The FDA played a bait and switch. They approved the Comirnaty version of Pfizer drugs. It’s not available in the U.S. They even admit it. I sent them a letter three days later going "What are you doing?" What they did is they extended the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer drug vaccine that’s available in the U.S., here that’s more than 30 days later, they haven’t asked that very simple question. If you’re saying that the Pfizer drug is the same as the Comirnaty, why didn’t you provide FDA approval on that? So, there’s not an FDA-approved drug and, of course, they announced it so they could push through these mandates so that people actually think, "Oh, OK now these things are FDA approved." They are not and again, maybe they should be, but the FDA isn’t telling me why.

- Father God, we pray for the people who have believed a lie that the Pfizer vaccine is FDA approved. Lord, draw their hearts toward heaven. We trust You to help each and everyone in the world regarding this virus and the so-called vaccines. Let the truth be told from this time forth. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "But know you for certain that if you put me to death, you shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the Lord has sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears." (Jeremiah 26:15)

4. Pelosi admits defeat on infrastructure bill, says 'more time is needed' - Fox News
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi drew up the white flag Friday evening, admitting that "more time is needed" to pass a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that is one of the pillars of President Biden's agenda, after previously vowing to pass the measure this week.
While Pelosi had promised moderate House Democrats the infrastructure bill would be on the floor, progressives threatened to sink it unless it was coupled with a $3.5 trillion spending measure, known as the Build Back Better Act, that includes a variety of social welfare programs.
Republicans are united against the larger bill, and Senate Democratic moderates Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona refused to support $3.5 trillion in new spending, meaning the bill could not pass the Senate. So it was no use for Pelosi to pass it in the House. And she was forced to cave on the infrastructure bill because progressives insisted the other measure be must be considered by the House too or they'd vote against the infrastructure bill. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we pray You decease, decline, and reduce Nancy Pelosi's undemocratic evil bills and strip her of her past power. May she be unable to carry the weight she once carried. Remove her from office, Lord. We pray in Jesus' Name.
- "Let her days be few; and let another take her office." (Psalm 109:8)

5. Trump Asks Judge to Force Twitter to Reinstate His Account - Epoch Times
Former President Donald Trump asked a federal judge to force Twitter to reinstate his account in a civil lawsuit filed in Florida on Friday. Trump, along with several other plaintiffs, says that Twitter’s ban of his account violated the First Amendment and likely violated Florida’s newly-enacted Stop Social Media Censorship Act.
The former president filed a request for a preliminary injunction against Twitter in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, arguing the social media company was “coerced” by members of the U.S. Congress to suspend his account. He then suggested that Twitter’s ban of his account should be regarded as a government action for First Amendment purposes as it’s the result of “the State’s exercise of ‘coercive power.'”
Twitter “exercises a degree of power and control over political discourse in this country that is immeasurable, historically unprecedented, and profoundly dangerous to open democratic debate,” Trump’s lawyers said in the filing.
The ban will affect the 2022 elections if Trump’s account is not reinstated, Trump’s lawyers said in the filing, citing constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz. “Plaintiff faces loss of his donor and merchandising platforms, and ability to communicate his views, content, and endorsements of local candidates,” read the filing. |
- Almighty God, we pray for honest justice to be granted President Trump with his Twitter account being reinstated immediately. God, fight the evil, black powers working against Donald Trump, and clear the way for him to take his rightful position as President. In Jesus Name we pray.
- "Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again." (Psalm 140:8, 10)

6. ‘Narrative Collapse’: British Media Finally Appear to Be Questioning Biden’s U.S. Election Legitimacy - Trending Politics
“So Trump was right.” Thus begins a broadside in the Sunday Times that amounts to a clarion call for the world: America’s president came to power in an election that was “rigged.”
“The American public is slowly waking up to the fact that they are being led by an ineffectually devious, senile halfwit,” Rob Liddle writes. “Donald Trump is back in the lead in the opinion polls. Imagine how awful a president must be if people would rather that sack of meat with mittens were back in charge.” “Soon the public will wake up to something even more unpleasant and sinister: that the last presidential election was a fraud, rigged by big business, the labour unions and, more than anything, the media and the tech companies,” he continues. “If that election had taken place in any other country, it would have been called ‘unfree’. And, as more and more evidence emerges, it terrifies me that the same thing could happen here.”
“The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” a bombshell Time article released just days before the Senate impeachment trial, appears to have provided some of the best evidence that the election was “fortified” by a shadowy cabal that included giant corporations, big tech giants, and powerful labor unions. “What we didn’t know until we were told in February this year, courtesy of Time magazine, was that there actually was a conspiracy — a secret coalition of chief executives, labour unions, left-wing pressure groups and media companies — to manage what information was available to the voting public,” Liddle went on. “Its aim, as The Wall Street Journal put it, was to ‘suppress unwanted elements of US political conversation’. What a wonderful phrase.” (Read more)

|
- Almighty God, we pray that You remove the fraudulent, unfounded, false presidency of Joe Biden, and clear the way for President Trump to take his rightful position today as President of the United States of America. Bring divine justice to bring us the winner of the truthfully elected Donald JohnTrump as President. God, we pray he take this office speedily. Block, bind, and break any ungodly intervention that would stand in the way of President Trump being given the position he was voted and elected for. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses.. He makes the storm a palm, so that the waves hereof are still." ( Psalm 107:28-29)

7. Shocking photos of cargo ships anchored off NYC and LA forecast global supply chain 'collapse' - UK Daily Mail
New footage obtained by DailyMail.com shows the scale of the problem facing the United States' supply chains, with more than a dozen cargo ships and oil tankers anchored outside New York's harbor, waiting to unload their goods. The huge ships are loaded with products that cannot be offloaded because of a shortage of port workers and truck drivers to transport them to their final destinations. Concern has been mounting for several weeks about supply chains worldwide, and the U.S. is beginning to be hit, with the latest clip showing the ongoing bottlenecks of cargo building up outside America's most populous city.
The reasons for the backlog are complex. The pandemic has reduced the workforce, as workers are forced to quarantine due to the Delta variant or else are reluctant to return to work. A shortage of truck drivers means that the cargo is left sitting longer on the docks, preventing the unloading of newly-arrived vessels. The worker shortage is coupled with a surge in demand, as people worldwide emerge from 18 months of lockdowns and resume buying goods. Demand for shipping has soared to levels cargo bosses did not expect to see until 2025.
Container ships are pictured off Los Angeles on Thursday, as an estimated 500,000 containers are reportedly still sitting on docked container ships and waiting to be dealt with. Los Angeles' port saw as many as 73 vessels waiting to unload earlier in September, and 66 container ships this week, according to Marine Exchange of Southern California data cited by The Wall Street Journal. - Father, give wisdom on how to solve this problem. You are our Source! Provide the manpower to unload these ships and get the product to the desired locations.

8. Noem Touts Economy of South Dakota, 'Not Coming for Beaches' - Newsmax
South Dakota is attracting thousands of new residents and hundreds of businesses with the fastest growing economy in the country, GOP Gov. Kristi Noem boasted Tuesday, "not for our beaches and our wonderful weather. We have the fastest growing economy in the country right now," Noem told a town hall event at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, California, hosted by the Young America's Foundation and Newsmax. "Our GDP is 9.9%, in our state. I have thousands of people moving to South Dakota. Hundreds and hundreds of businesses are coming there.
"I don't have an income tax. I don't have a corporate income tax. I don't have a personal property tax. All we have in South Dakota is a 4.5-cents sales tax. And we have historic revenues coming into our state. We are proving that conservative values, when implemented, work, and create opportunities."
The 49-year-old Republican, often touted along with Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis as a possible 2024 GOP presidential candidate, took a lighthearted jab at her southern counterpart, noting that those coming to her state aren't moving for the climate. "People are moving to our state," she told "Rob Schmitt Tonight" host Rob Schmitt, "not for our beaches, and our wonderful weather, but they are moving by the thousands because they recognize that they want a government that respects them. And that just creates an opportunity, doesn't hand everything to them, doesn't overspend. We have the only fully funded pension plan in the entire country in our state. (Read more)

|
- Father, thank You for Governors like Kristi Noem of Douth Dakota! May we vote more conservative Governors into office in our next election!
- "I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts." (Psalm 119:45)

9. Parental Rights Battle Emerges in VA Governor's Race: McAuliffe Rejects Parents' Input in What Schools Teach Their Children - CBN
Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin took part in a fierce debate Tuesday night in the Virginia governor's race. It's a high stakes matchup for the Commonwealth that's also being closely watched for insight into voter sentiment as we approach the 2022 national midterm elections.
Education . . . took precedence during Tuesday's second and final debate. Youngkin noted the importance of parents having a say in what their kids are being taught. He noted the intense fighting in Fairfax County Public Schools where teachers are under fire for giving students books with explicit sexual encounters between underage boys and adult males.
In Loudon County, outrage over critical race theory and transgender proposals fueled a fire that made national news.
McAuliffe says he doesn't believe parents should tell schools what to teach their children. "I'm not going to let parents come in and take out books and make their own decisions," McAuliffe said. "Yeah, I stopped the bill and I don't think parents should tell teachers what to do."
Youngkin agreed with McAuliffe that schools should be able to make decisions about the content they teach. But he also demanded that parents be included in the dialogue instead of being kept in the dark about what's on the shelves of their child's school. (Read more)

- Father, may parents rise up and take a stand in schools to know and be included in their child's education. We pray victory for republican Glenn Youngkin in this Va Governor's race.

10. China sends more than three dozen warplanes in skies near Taiwan in largest incursion yet - CNN
China sent 38 warplanes into the skies around Taiwan on Friday, the highest number of Chinese military aircraft to breach the island's Air Defense Identification Zone in a single day since Taipei began publicly reporting such activities last year, Taiwan's Defense Ministry said Friday night. The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft came in two waves, the Defense Ministry said.
Twenty-five PLA warplanes entered the southwestern corner of the ADIZ during daylight hours, and another 13 planes entered the island's southwest ADIZ on Friday night, the ministry said in a statement.
While the Chinese planes in the afternoon sortie stayed in the extreme southwestern part of the ADIZ, the planes involved in the evening flight flew through the defense zone and hooked up toward the northeast before reversing course and returning to the Chinese mainland, the Defense Ministry said.
The 25 PLA planes involved in the daylight incursion included 18 J-16 fighters, four Su-30 fighters, two H-6 bombers and one Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft, according to the Defense Ministry. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You that Your angels always stand ready, at Your command, to protect the innocent and the helpless. In the face of this recent incursion, we ask You to send Your angels forth to protect the natoin of Taiwan. We pray You calm this escalation over Taiwan by the Chinese. We pray peace over this region. In Jesus' name, amen.

Traditional Red Mass was Celebrated Yesterday in Washington, D.C.
|
|
A Red Mass is a Mass celebrated annually in the Roman Catholic Church for all members of the legal profession, regardless of religious affiliation: judges, lawyers, law school professors, law students, and government officials, marking the opening of the judicial year. Through prayerful petition and thanksgiving the Red Mass requests guidance from the Holy Spirit for all who seek justice, and offers the legal community an opportunity to reflect on what Catholics believe is the God-given power and responsibility of all in the legal profession.
One of the better-known Red Masses is the one celebrated each fall at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C. on the Sunday before the first Monday in October (the Supreme Court convenes on the first Monday in October). It is sponsored by the John Carroll Society and attended by some Supreme Court justices, members of Congress, the diplomatic corps, the Cabinet and other government departments and sometimes the President of the United States. We thank You for guiding each Justice in their work that will be done in the judicial year ahead. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

The comet Bernardinelli-Bernstein, depicted in this illustration, is estimated to be about 1,000 times more massive than a typical comet. ILLUSTRATION BY NOIRLAB, NSF, AURA, J. DA SILVA (SPACEENGINE)
|
|
One of the largest comets ever seen is headed our way
|
|
Comet Bernardinelli-Bernstein offers a rare opportunity for a generation of astronomers to study an object from the extreme edges of the solar system.
More than 2.7 billion miles from the sun—29 times farther than Earth treads—a tiny sliver of sunlight reflected off something plummeting toward our home star. Something icy. Something unimaginably old. Something big.
About four hours later, in the predawn hours of October 20, 2014, a telescope in Chile’s Atacama Desert turned its gaze toward the heavens and snapped an enormous picture of the southern night sky, capturing hints of this reflected light.
However, it would take nearly seven years for researchers to identify that strange dot of light as a huge primordial comet—possibly the biggest ever studied with modern telescopes. Called Bernardinelli-Bernstein, the comet was announced in June, and researchers have now compiled everything they know about it in a discovery paper submitted to The Astrophysical Journal Letters. Crowdfunded Faith-Based Nature Documentary Series ‘The Riot and the Dance’ Celebrates the Creator, His Creation
|
|
The producers of The Riot and the Dance have teamed up with Angel Studios for the distribution of its multi-part nature documentary series intended to show God’s hand in the beauty that surrounds us.
The faith-based series showcases the vast and beautifully intricate planet while explaining to viewers that it was intentionally designed by the Divine Creator.
The show’s host, Dr. Gordon Wilson, who’s also a scientist and devout Christian, told The Christian Post (CP) that working on the project was a “dream come true.”
“For a scientist and animal lover, there’s nothing like adventuring in the field. And now, thanks to our fantastic production crew, I can bring millions of families along for the ride, celebrating creation and the Artist behind every fantastic critter,” he told CP in a statement.
“Faith-based nature docs have never had space in the industry,” he added. “I’m still amazed that such a shake-up is really happening, and I’m beyond blessed to be a part of it.” (Faithwire) Read more.

Whispering Hope
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words and Music: Septimus Winner
Scripture: Hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. Hebrews 6:19
Lyrics:
Soft as the voice of an angel,
Breathing a lesson unheard,
Hope with a gentle persuasion
Whispers her comforting word:
Wait till the darkness is over,
Wait till the tempest is done,
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow,
After the shower is gone.
Refrain
Whispering hope, oh how welcome thy voice,
Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice.
If, in the dusk of the twilight,
Dim be the region afar,
Will not the deepening darkness
Brighten the glimmering star?
Then when the night is upon us,
Why should the heart sink away?
When the dark midnight is over,
Watch for the breaking of day.
Refrain
Hope, as an anchor so steadfast,
Rends the dark veil for the soul,
Whither the Master has entered,
Robbing the grave of its goal.
Come then, O come, glad fruition,
Come to my sad weary heart;
Come, O Thou blest hope of glory,
Never, O never depart.
Refrain
