1. No more daycare, restaurants, gyms or shopping malls: The new virus regulations - The Times of Israel
The Health Ministry send out a message overnight Saturday clarifying a raft of new regulations announced hours earlier by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to combat the spread of the coronavirus, including banning gatherings of more than ten people.
The message emphasized that all educational institutions would be shut down starting Sunday, regardless of the number of children per classroom, among them daycare centers - including home daycares - special education, youth movements and after-school programs.
It also said that, save for supermarkets and pharmacies, all malls would be closed. Restaurants and hotel dining rooms will also be shuttered - aside from those that provide takeout - along with bars, pubs and dance clubs.
The Health Ministry said gyms, pools, water and amusement parks, zoos and petting zoos, bathhouses and ritual baths for men, beauty and massage salons, event and conference venues, public boats and cable cars, and heritage sites would have to close as well.

2. Israeli cell therapy may treat respiratory effects caused by coronavirus - Jerusalem Post
"We will first approach COVID-19 patients through compassionate use so we can treat them immediately," Pluristem's CEO said.
A regenerative medicine company based in Haifa, Israel, says its placenta-based cell therapy product could be used to treat hundreds of patients who are suffering from respiratory and inflammatory complications associated with the COVID-19 coronavirus.
"We will first approach COVID-19 patients through compassionate use so we can treat them immediately," explained Yaky Yanay, president and CEO of the company that produces the cell therapy. "We will be able to support the healthcare system and be able to help maintain and contain this disease."

3. El Al to use empty passenger planes for cargo - Jerusalem Post
As El Al suffers from a severe drop in the number of travelers, the company has decided to offer their Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" aircraft for cargo use instead of for passengers, according to Ynet. A similar system was offered concerning the Boeing 777 fleet, but their use is more expensive.
The empty planes will be able to supply necessary items under short notice to companies that require them.
Between five and 10 planes will be set aside for the transport of raw materials and necessary and urgently needed items, such as medication and protective materials. A Dreamliner can carry about 20,000 tons of commercial cargo and companies will need to pay for the round trip price. The price will be decided in each individual case.
El Al is also operating more standard cargo planes to Europe and may add flights to the US.

4. Israeli Arab Party Backs Netanyahu's Rival Gantz - Algemeiner
The main rival to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won support from Israel's Arab party on Sunday to form a government, potentially undermining Netanyahu's plan to stay in power atop a proposed unity cabinet to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
After a third inconclusive election in less than a year left Netanyahu still three seats short of forming a majority, the prime minister has asked his main rival, Benny Gantz, to agree to an "emergency government" to fight the global pandemic.
However, Gantz has so far been cool to the proposal, suggesting he could still try to form a minority government of his own, ousting Israel's longest-serving leader.

The Daily Brief
1. Fed slashes main interest rate to near zero in historic move designed to cushion economic blow of coronavirus pandemic - Markets Insider
The Federal Reserve slashed its benchmark interest rate on Sunday by a full percentage point to near zero. The Fed's key rate is now 0% to 0.25%, matching the record low it was last at in 2015.
The central bank also said it will increase its bond holdings by $700 billion. The emergency moves are part of a broader government effort to ease the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
"The coronavirus outbreak has harmed communities and disrupted economic activity in many countries, including the United States," the central bank said in a statement on Sunday.
"Global financial conditions have also been significantly affected," it added. "Available economic data show that the US economy came into this challenging period on a strong footing." (Read more)
- Lord God, we saw that our President rejoiced over this news over the weekend, so we too rejoice with him. We ask for the greatest measure of financial blessings to be bestowed upon our nation in this time of need. Amen.
- "For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land." (Jeremiah 32:15)
2. Trump 'strongly considering' Flynn pardon - Fox News
President Trump announced Sunday that he is "strongly considering" a pardon for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators conducting the Russia investigation.
Flynn had been scheduled to be sentenced in late February, but Judge Emmet Sullivan postponed it indefinitely after prosecutors filed a rare motion to delay a number of approaching deadlines that would have made the Feb. 27 sentencing date unlikely. Flynn had also moved to withdraw his guilty plea, claiming that federal prosecutors had acted in bad faith.
"So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has 'lost' the records of General Michael Flynn," Trump tweeted. "How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!"
Trump's claim that the FBI said the "lost" records related to Flynn echoes a motion filed on Flynn's behalf in January that highlighted information that has come to light since Flynn's guilty plea -- including that no precise record of Flynn's statements to agents exists and that the original handwritten FD-302 witness report from the interview is "missing," with subsequent versions later "edited" in some undisclosed manner by anti-Trump FBI officials. - Father God, we ask for Your hand of mercy to rest upon Michael Flynn, in Your name, amen.
- "My people shall never be put to shame." (Joel 2:26)
3. France closes most stores on coronavirus fears, Spain imposes lockdown, US restricts UK travel - CNBC
France will close all nonessential stores in order to stop the rapid spread of the coronavirus in Europe, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced in a press conference.
The order applies to restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and nightclubs, Philippe said. Grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations will remain open to the public. There are at least 3,667 confirmed cases of coronavirus in France, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. (Read more)
- Father in heaven, move by Your Holy Spirit across France, Spain, the United States, Europe and the world and draw the peoples' hearts toward God and prayer. We pray they cry out for the Blood of Jesus to save their souls. Deliver the people from sin. God, guide leaders of these nations to stand up for God and lead their countries to Jesus. He is the Savior of the world. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

4. GOP Chairwoman awaiting test results - CNBC
Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, is awaiting results from a coronavirus test, the RNC's communications director said on Twitter.
McDaniel tested negative for the normal flu and strep throat, and she and her family are self-quarantining, according to the statement.
McDaniel is the latest high-profile Republican to either take a test or self-quarantine because of the virus. President Donald Trump said Saturday that he has also taken the test and is awaiting results. Several Republican senators, including Ted Cruz of Texas and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, are self-isolating after coming into contact with people who contracted the virus.
Trump and Vice President Mike Pence were at a major RNC donor event in Florida last weekend. (Read more)
- Father God, we ask that Ms. McDaniel's test results will be negative; we pray that President Trump's test results will be negative; and all the other senators, public leaders and the schools across the land will be sterilized and the children will not contact this virus. We pray in the wonderful Name of Jesus.
- "Then shall you call, and the Lord shall answer, you shall cry, and He shall say, Here am I." (Isaiah 58:9)
5. With 500 dead, Iran to empty the streets, check all 80 million people for virus - Times of Israel
TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran said Friday the security forces will clear the streets nationwide within 24 hours so all citizens can be checked for coronavirus - its toughest measure yet to combat the outbreak.
The COVID-19 epidemic in Iran - a nation of more than 80 million people - has now claimed over 500 lives and infected more than 11,000.
Since it announced the first deaths last month, Iran has shut schools, postponed events and discouraged travel ahead of Nowrouz, the country's New Year holidays. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we lift up these 80 million souls and trust the Holy Spirit to check out their countenance toward God. Let it be that You will lead them through and perform a miracle that will last for days as they await the verdict either positive or negative. Deal with each soul and bring conviction upon them as they wait. Save the millions, my Father, through this process. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you." (Luke11:9)
6. Iran's Rouhani warns media, seeks to suppress coronavirus coverage - Jerusalem Post
Massive crises unfolds, doctors report their staff are sick and can't meet the needs of the people, Iran's regime prepares media to put positive spin on disaster.
Iran's President Hassan Rouhani has met with key advisers and officials to coordinate the suppression of media reports on the coronavirus pandemic in Iran. As numerous Iraqis returning from Iran have been saying, as a massive disaster is unfolding in Iran, the regime in Tehran wants to stop what it calls "gossip."
Iran's Tasnim reports that the president's office will "track" media reports. They want to push a campaign to highlight the regime's response to the coronavirus. Under the guise of "accurate, clear and transparent information on countering coronavirus," it appears the main goal is to try to get the public to stop asking questions. "The main need of today's society is to relax the focus," the report notes. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray that the media will not be duped into believing Rouhani's lies, but the truth will be known all the time. Deaths of the Iranians will be positive proof where the virus is located. Expose the lies and deceivers. In the Name of Jesus.
- "Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil off your doings from before God's eyes, cease to do evil." (Isaiah 1:16)
7. American life in practical standstill amid coronavirus pandemic - Fox News
The surge of coronavirus cases throughout the United States and around the world has brought countries to a practical standstill. While countries like Italy, Spain and China have declared complete lockdowns in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, life in the United States also has dramatically changed in just a week.
From work to entertainment to even worship, several aspects of American life have been reordered as health officials encourage the public to carry out "social distancing" to prevent the spread of the infection. "The less public gatherings we have now the better. It's a new virus. We don't have immunity to it. We don't have a vaccine to it. We want to decrease the amount of spread," Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marc Siegel said Sunday.
The death toll in the U.S. reached at least 57 as of Sunday morning, cases have been recorded in 49 states and the District of Columbia. West Virginia is the only state without any recorded cases. Nearly 3,000 cases have been seen nationwide -- up from the less than 500 cases recorded in the U.S. at the start of the week. The U.S. government's top infection expert warned this week that the country should expect a possible surge in the coming days. (Read more)
- Father God, we praise Your Holy Name. In this hour, Abba . . . in this "set time," we see Your Hand sweeping across the globe, causing all to be still.
Father, this is an unusual work . . . causing all of us to turn to You to find help in time of need. Let all the nations praise Your Holy Name; and may those who do not know You, find You, in this set time. Amen.
- "But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."(Habakkuk 2:20)
"For the LORD will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon- That He may do His work, His awesome work, And bring to pass His act, His unusual act." (Isaiah 28:1)
8. Coronavirus screenings jam US airports - Fox News
Long lines and hourslong waits for required medical screenings greeted weary travelers returning to some U.S. airports amid coronavirus-related travel restrictions.
The dense crowds Saturday at some of the 13 airports where travelers from Europe are being funneled - among the busiest across the country - formed even as public health officials called for "social distancing" to stem the spread of the pandemic.
Lines appeared to be shorter Sunday morning at the affected airports, but more flights had yet to arrive. Austin Boschen was returning from a spring break trip to Jalisco, Mexico, with his girlfriend and described the situation Saturday at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport as "atrocious, no semblance of a line beyond the barriers and no officials or staff around to direct." - Our Father, from this point forward, we pray for godly order and connections be reinstated as the flights carry the passengers to their destinations. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "But godliness with contentment is great gain." (I Timothy 6:6)
9. Coronavirus: Americans to have access to more than 2,000 labs for testing - Jerusalem Post
WASHINGTON - US Vice President Mike Pence promised on Sunday that Americans would have access in the days ahead to more than 2,000 laboratories capable of processing coronavirus tests, and a leading expert said the country would launch a new phase of testing for the fast-spreading disease.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Pence also said he and President Donald Trump would brief US state governors on Monday on the widening testing amid a fast-escalating global health crisis.
The Trump administration has faced criticism in recent weeks for what has widely been seen as a slow gearing up of testing for the coronavirus. US Assistant Health Secretary Brett Giroir said the United States may have 1.9 million "high-throughput" tests available this week. "That is a real game changer for us," Giroir said of the increased number of testing labs due to come on line. (Read more)
- Father, we ask that the most excellent laboratories will be easily accessible for Americans to be tested and will be cleared by a Negative result. Save souls, Jesus, as they desire to know God's perfect will in all this. Thank You, Lord for Your help and guidance. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)
10. Newt Gingrich: I am in Italy amid the coronavirus crisis. America must act now - and act big - Newsweek
The coronavirus is out of control of in Northern Italy. As of 6 p.m. local/1 p.m. EST on March 10, there were 15,113 total cases in Italy, with 12,839 active cases, 1,016 deaths and 1,258 recoveries. And there were 162 total cases here in Rome.
The hardest-hit region around Milan has had to improvise as its health system has been deeply stressed by the sheer number of patients. In Milan and Brescia, field hospitals have been set up in the fairgrounds as the local hospitals have been drowned in patients.
Because the demand for respirators and intensive care has been beyond any previous planning, doctors have been forced into the kind of triage thinking developed for intense battlefield casualty situations. There are reports that emergency room doctors are allotting respirators to those with higher life expectancy due to the limited equipment in the hardest hit areas of the province. If you are older or have other illnesses, you may simply not be eligible for treatment. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray for the desperate souls who are fighting to live and be well that You in Your mercy and grace draw each and everyone of them to Jesus the Savior of their souls. Give them visions, dreams, or angelic visitation that draw their souls to Jesus and be saved. Give strength to all the doctors and staff. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)
11. Italians are singing songs from their windows to boost morale during coronavirus lockdown - CNBC
Videos have been shared on social media of Italian citizens singing and dancing during a nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The videos, from various cities and towns, show people singing from balconies and windows in an attempt to boost morale, with all non-essential shops and services still closed in the country.
Italy is one of the worst affected countries in the world by COVID-19, with 17,660 confirmed cases and 1,266 deaths, according to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University. That's the largest outbreak outside of China.

Coronavirus: Daily Jot Special Report
My son Christian and I returned from Ghana this morning, three days early. When President Trump announced the travel ban, we knew that we had to cut our visit short and return immediately. Air France, which routed us through Paris with a layover had us leaving on Sunday, returning Monday-both after the Friday midnight ban. Air France was willing to board us on a flight Friday night at 10, but we would be arriving in Amsterdam on Saturday morning and leaving Amsterdam for Washington, DC on Saturday afternoon. They could not emphatically and confidently guarantee we would be able to return to Washington. By the grace of God, we were able to book a pre-ban direct flight on South African Airline.
The coronavirus pandemic has the world in a panic. While I was at Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Thursday trying to determine our flight options (which was no easy task), there were two confirmed cases-one from Norway and the other from Turkey. Immediately, they were quarantined and the Ghana Ministry of Health put out a release outlining the steps that would be taken and the common-sense procedures to prevent the spread of the virus. By Friday morning, even our small out-of-the-way hotel had masks, an abundance of hand sanitizer, and testing kits. The restaurant down the street was greeting people at the door with hand sanitizer. We were screened at the airport before entering security.
At Passport Control and Customs at Dulles Airport, we were asked if we traveled through Iran or China in the past 14 days. The answer was "no," but that we did have a layover in Paris. They immediately took our passports and escorted us to a clinic where doctors took our temperatures and asked several health questions. Our results were negative so we went into another line to receive our passports. This process was not very efficient time-wise, but it is a solid step. I wonder, however, how many people lied about where they had been, just to expeditiously get through customs. In talking with a Homeland Security officer, he admitted this was a weakness in the system. Christian and I are self-quarantining for the next 14 days. This is common sense.
From learning about the ban, working through all the difficulties in negotiating air travel in its wake, and navigating a third-world environment, we exercised earthly and spiritual confidence. We used hand sanitizer, drank plenty of water supplemented with Vitamin C, and used zinc lozenges. We operated as 2 Timothy 1:7 men: "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Whether the virus is as big a problem as characterized by the media remains to be seen. But it presents a national challenge for all of us, as well as an opportunity to show the love and strength of Christ. I will be writing more about coronavirus in the coming days. Keep your cool. Control what you can control. Encourage one another. We can whip this AND show Christ to others.

JUST AS I AM, WITHOUT ONE PLEA
"Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)
Lyrics
Just as I am-without one plea, But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that Thou bidst me come to Thee- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot, To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-though tossed about With many a conflict, many a doubt, Fightings and fears within, without- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-poor, wretched, blind; Sight, riches, healing of the mind, Yea, all I need in Thee to find- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-Thou wilt receive, Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because Thy promise I believe- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-Thy love unknown Hath broken every barrier down; Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone- O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am-of that free love The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove, Here for a season, then above- O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Words: Charlotte Elliott, 1835.
Melody: William B. Bradbury, 1849
About the Hymn:
Miss Charlotte Elliott was visiting some friends in the West End of London, and there met the eminent minister, César Malan. While seated at supper, the minister said he hoped that she was a Christian. She took offense at this, and replied that she would rather not discuss that question. Dr. Malan said that he was sorry if had offended her, that he always liked to speak a word for his Master, and that he hoped that the young lady would some day become a worker for Christ.
When they met again at the home of a mutual friend, three weeks later, Miss Elliott told the minister that ever since he had spoken to her she had been trying to find her Saviour, and that she now wished him to tell her how to come to Christ. "Just come to him as you are," Dr. Malan said. This she did, and went away rejoicing. Shortly afterward she wrote this hymn.

Gunnison, Colorado: The Town That Dodged the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic
In late 1918 the world's greatest killer - Spanish flu - roared towards Gunnison, a mountain town in Colorado.
The pandemic was infecting hundreds of millions of people in Europe, Africa, Asia and across the United States, overwhelming hospitals and morgues in Boston and Philadelphia before sweeping west, devastating cities, villages and hamlets from Alaska to Texas.
Gunnison, a farming and mining town of about 1,300 people, had special reason to fear. Two railroads connected it to Denver and other population centers, many badly hit. "The flu is after us" the Gunnison News-Champion warned on 10 October. "It is circulating in almost every village and community around us."
What happened next is instructive amid a new global health emergency a century later as the world struggles react to the emergence of a new coronavirus. Gunnison declared a "quarantine against all the world". It erected barricades, sequestered visitors, arrested violators, closed schools and churches and banned parties and street gatherings, a de facto lockdown that lasted four months.
It worked. Gunnison emerged from the pandemic's first two waves - by far the deadliest - without a single case. It was one of a handful of so-called "escape communities" that researchers have analysed for insights into containing the apparently uncontainable.

'Silence Voices of Fear': Bill Johnson, Shawn Bolz, Sean Feucht Hold Faith Rally Against Coronavirus
The coronavirus outbreak is leading to shutdowns from Disneyland to primary schools and universities to basketball arenas, and even church services. But Bethel Church Pastor Bill Johnson, worship leader Sean Feucht, and prophetic minister Shawn Bolz are telling believers to not react in fear.
"I wanted to host this to shift the narrative away from panic, fear, and hopelessness to one of faith and trusting God in the midst of the storm," Sean Feucht told CBN News. "We need to silence voices of fear and amplify voices of faith."
Sean hosted the faith "rally" on his Instagram page and said he plans on holding them each week featuring a different guest.
Bill Johnson and Shawn Bolz were the first guests Thursday and shared how believers can walk in faith during a time like this.
"Psalm 91 is really key for us," Johnson explained during the rally. "I think that we are going to learn to fight with scripture for the victory that Jesus has already purchased."
Johnson adds that there are common-sense measures that you can take like washing your hands, but he warned that believers should not operate in fear.
"This whole maneuvering in fear is crazy," he expressed. "I've never seen the spirit of fear spread so quickly. Internationally, things were many, many, many, times worse." Prophetic minister Shawn Bolz is encouraging believers to pray for friends and family and has created a free prophetic prayer book called "Standing in Faith Against Coronavirus".
He says these biblical declarations will help believers to know how to stand in faith.
"I believe that as we are praying and we turn to the Father's help, as the Church, that God is sending everything - from the natural to the spiritual - help that we need. His heart as a Father is that this is not His story for our generation," Bolz said.
About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit." (Philippians 4:23)
Reading the Bible Together
WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)
> > > Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week!! ALL NIGHT LONG!
We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]
Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!
Our conference number is: 712-432-0075. The access code is: 206425#.
Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST! EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."
Hallelujah!!
Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!
In closing, let us decree together that . . .
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)
AMEN!!
Reminder!
Our conference number is: 712-432-0075.
