President Trump announced on Monday a set of guidelines that he said Americans should follow to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus -- despite admitting that the pandemic could stretch into July or August.
Speaking during a briefing of the coronavirus task force, Trump outlined a plan to slow the spread of COVID-19 in 15 days.
"With several weeks of focused action, we can turn the corner and turn it quickly," Trump said. "Our government is prepared to do whatever it takes."
At another point during the news conference, asked if the U.S. was headed into a recession, Trump replied: "Well, it may be." But then, he said, "We're not thinking in terms of recession, we're thinking in terms of the virus."
The guidelines advised that older people and those with underlying health conditions "stay home and away from other people." (Read more)

Multiple states have either announced they are postponing their presidential primary elections due to concerns about the novel coronavirus or made clear they are considering it. This comes as top election officials in Arizona, Florida, Ohio and Illinois issued a statement Friday saying they will go on with their Tuesday, March 17 elections, writing, "Americans have participated in elections during challenging times in the past . . . we are confident that voters in our states can safely and securely cast their ballots in this election." 1. In surreal scenes, Knesset sworn in 3 members at a time amid virus crisis - Times of Israel
In a surreal ceremony, the 23rd Knesset convened on Monday in the shadow of the COVID-19 outbreak, with its 120 lawmakers inducted in batches of three to avoid the spread of the virus and its leaders giving their usually festive opening remarks to an empty hall.
President Reuven Rivlin opened the parliament swearing-in with an address to the only three lawmakers present - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz and Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein.
In his speech, Rivlin implored the political parties to resolve their differences and form a coalition, putting an end to the deadlock that has left the country without a functioning government since December 2018.
2. Rivlin negotiating unity government with Netanyahu, Gantz - Jerusalem Post
President Reuven Rivlin brought together Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Blue and White leader Benny Gantz and the negotiating teams for both Likud and Blue and White at the President's Residence on Sunday night in an effort to form a unity government to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The meeting ended after an hour and a half with both sides promising to continue meeting and Rivlin's office saying he had "encouraged them to deepen their connection."
Sources close to the president said he was open to both a temporary emergency government and a four-year unity government. Among the options to be discussed was a government that would first be led by Netanyahu for a year, followed by Gantz for two years and then Netanyahu again or whoever would lead Likud at that time.
"The public expects to see unity as soon as possible," Rivlin said in an earlier meeting with Likud representatives. "No one wants a fourth election."
3. Government okays mass surveillance of Israelis' phones to curb coronavirus- Times of Israel
The government on Sunday approved a proposal to allow the Shin Bet security service to perform mass surveillance on Israelis' phones without requiring a court order in an effort to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, prompting major concerns of privacy and civil liberty violations.
The measure will require final approval from the Knesset's subcommittee on clandestine services before it can be put into action.
The Prime Minister's Office said the Shin Bet will be limited in what data it collects and who within the government will have access to it. In addition, under the proposal, the agency will only be able to use the information in the fight against the coronavirus, and the power is scheduled to end 30 days after it is granted by the Knesset subcommittee.
4. All leisure venues closing as Netanyahu tells Israel: Adjust to new way of life- Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government officials on Saturday announced a shutdown of all leisure businesses and activities throughout the country, with the premier pressing upon the public the need to "adopt a new way of life" for the coming weeks and possibly months as the country deals with the new coronavirus - and particularly underlining a guiding principle of individuals maintaining a distance of at least two meters from others at all times.
Sunday morning will see public life further diminished, with the closure of all cafes, restaurants, hotels, malls, movie theaters, gyms, event halls and the like. It was implied that all nonessential shops would close, though not specifically stated. But Netanyahu stressed that supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and other essentials services would continue to function.
5. Palestinians close Al-Aqsa Mosque, Dome of the Rock over coronavirus fears- Times of Israel
Muslim authorities announced Sunday that the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the third-holiest site in Islam, would be closed indefinitely due to concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak, with prayers continuing to be held on the sprawling esplanade outside.
Al-Aqsa is the latest in a series of religious sites where access has been halted or strictly limited. Saudi Arabia has halted the umrah pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina and could be forced to limit or cancel the much larger hajj later this year. On Sunday, it announced the temporary closure of all mosques and called off Friday prayers.
Sheikh Omar Kiswani, the director of Al-Aqsa, said Sunday that the closure of the mosque and other buildings on the compound, including the iconic golden Dome of the Rock, would continue indefinitely.

1. European Human Rights Court Rules Against Christian Midwives Who Will Not Abort Babies - Breitbart
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has dismissed the case of two Christian midwives who were denied jobs in Sweden for refusing to perform abortions, ruling that the violation of the women's consciences was "justified".
After losing several court battles in Sweden, the two women - Ellinor Grimmark and Linda Steen - took their plight to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), which announced this week it will not take up the case. Swedish law obliges all midwives to perform abortions and makes no allowance for conscientious objection based on religious faith.
In dismissing Ms Grimmark's complaint, ECHR judges recognised there had been "an interference with her freedom of religion under Article Nine" of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) - but insisted that this interference "was proportionate and justified with the view of achieving a legitimate aim."
The interference "had a sufficient basis in Swedish law," the judges claimed, and "pursued the legitimate aim of protecting the health of women seeking an abortion." (Read more)

2. China threatening to stop flow of medical elements needed to fight corona Virus - WND
China, where the COVID-19 virus originated, is threatening the United States with export controls on drugs that would plunge America into a mighty sea of coronavirus. The virus already has infected more than 120,000 around the world and has caused nearly 5,000 deaths.
Fox News reports that as the number of new infections in China slows, the Communist Party-run media is warning that China might interrupt the supply chain of crucial components for drugs.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has admitted there is an undisclosed drug for which it cannot access necessary raw materials because they are made in China.
The virus, originating in Wuhan, China, has spread since December to more than 100 nations. (Read more)

3. New York state changes policy, allows minors to change sex on birth certificates - Christian Post
The state of New York is now permitting minors who self-identify as something other than their biological sex to alter their birth certificates.
Officials in the Empire state announced this week that young people ages 16 and under who assert that they are transgender or nonbinary will be able to alter their sex marker on their birth certificate to reflect their "gender identity." Medical affidavits are not required to make the change.
Proponents of the new policy hailed the move. "The actions announced today rid the state of a discriminatory and outdated policy and keeps New York rightly among the states leading the country with policies that respect the lives of transgender people," said Omar Gonzalez-Pagan, senior attorney for Lambda Legal, calling the announcement a "victory."
"It shouldn't take a minor and his family suing the state to get their rights recognized, but with this announcement, New York state eliminates an outdated and unjust barrier to transgender minors' ability to be themselves and have accurate, essential identity documents."
The office of New York Attorney General Letitia James said the policy change would take effect immediately. (Read more)

4. House Democrats can obtain grand-jury material that was redacted in Robert Mueller's special counsel report - WND
A three-judge appeals court panel has ruled that House Democrats can obtain grand-jury material that was redacted in Robert Mueller's special counsel report. Mueller spent an estimated $45 million over more than two years to investigate Democrats claims that the Trump campaign in 2016 colluded with Russia. The former FBI director found he could make no case for collusion. The Democrats' claims were fueled in part by the use of a bogus, anti-Trump dossier funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign to obtain permission to spy on the Trump campaign.
The Washington Examiner reported the order from the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals instructed the Justice Department to turn over to the House Judiciary Committee the redacted parts of Mueller's report. It is the district court, not the Executive or the Department of Justice, that controls access to the grand jury materials at issue here, the ruling said.
DOJ officials said they are reviewing the decision, the Examiner said. (Read more)

5. De Blasio: Coronavirus 'Is a Case for' 'Nationalization of Crucial Factories and Industries' - Breitbart
On Saturday's broadcast of MSNBC's "AM Joy," New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) stated that the coronavirus outbreak is a case for "a nationalization of crucial factories and industries that could produce the medical supplies to prepare this country for what we need."
De Blasio said, "This is a war-like situation. We're in a wartime scenario with a Mar-a-Lago attitude being used by the federal government, right? It's so laid back, and I don't understand it. And by the way, testing, how about ventilators? Where is the federal government making sure that our hospitals have the ventilators we're going to need? Where is the federal government when it comes to surgical masks, getting them distributed where they need?
This is a case for a nationalization, literally a nationalization of crucial factories and industries that could produce the medical supplies to prepare this country for what we need. Hand sanitizer, people are going crazy, I don't blame them, trying to get hand sanitizer." (Read more)

6. South Carolina's Jim Clyburn wants to end democratic primaries now and declare Biden the winner - WND
The South Carolina lawmaker credited with rescuing Joe Biden's dying presidential campaign with his timely endorsement now believes it's time to shut down the Democratic primary race and declare the former vice president the winner over Sen. Bernie Sanders. House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., told NPR as the results came in Tuesday in six primaries that if Biden were to win all of them, it would be best for the party to put an end to the primary race, debates and all.
"I think when the night is over, Joe Biden will be the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and quite frankly, if the night ends the way it has begun, I think it is time for us to shut this primary down, it is time for us to cancel the rest of these debates," Clyburn said.
The lawmaker likely had the widespread concern about Biden's cognitive health in mind when he added that, "you don't do anything but get yourself in trouble if you continue in this contest when it's obvious that the numbers will not shake out for you."
"This is incredible," said radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh. "They want to shut it down before anybody has the number of delegates needed to win the nomination. You want to talk about screwing Bernie Sanders twice, this time they're doing it in public. This time they're doing it in front of everybody. They screwed Crazy Bernie in 2016 with the superdelegates and so forth. He went along with it. Now they are screwing the guy in public, folks."
On Wednesday, however, Sanders, who won only sparsely populated North Dakota and awaits results in Washington state, announced he will remain in the race. (Read more)

7. Soros pac backed prosecutor who dropped Jussie Smollett charges - IFA Pray/Breitbart
Billionaire George Soros reportedly gave seven-figure campaign donations to re-elect Kim Foxx, the Chicago prosecutor who decided to drop all charges against accused hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett.
Foxx is running to return to her office as state's attorney for Cook County, and it's reported that she benefited from a political pac named the Illinois Justice Public Safety PAC which helped her run a six-figure ad campaign. It turns out that the pac's entire $2 million budget came from one of the many activist groups stealthily funded by Soros, according to the Washington Free Beacon. The Soros funding came as part of the billionaire's effort to put radical leftists into county attorney and prosecutor offices all across the country. And Foxx has been part of the Soros plan for years, already. She received $408,000 from the foreign billionaire when she first ran for her office in 2016. (Read more)

8. 'Squad' votes against ban on hiring terrorists for TSA! WND
TSA open to terrorist and a people convicted of sexual assault
The report is from the Zephula blog, which explained The Squad members were not alone in their decision to oppose an amendment that would keep people convicted of sexual assault, terrorism and other violent crimes from working at the TSA.
The Squad includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts. They all were elected in the class of 2018 and have been at the forefront of issues like climate change. After all, AOC said the world has only a few years left. They also all voted against a recent amendment to the Rights for Transportation Security Officers Act to ban terrorists and such from that particular work force. They were not alone. A total of 174 House Dems refused to support the plan. However, they lost. Enough House Republicans and a few Democrats joined to pass the plan. (Read more)

9. Court rules lawmakers exempt from open-records laws - WND
Georgia's General Assembly effectively was given permission to conduct its business without the public accountability provided by the state's records law after the state Supreme Court refused to take up a lawsuit. The Institute for Justice challenged the Georgia General Assembly's exemption from the state Open Records Act, which subjects "every state office" to its requirements.
The Fifth Division of the Court of Appeals of Georgia ruled last year that the General Assembly is not subject to a law unless it's named in the text of the law. IJ sued after Georgia officials refused to turn over records related to the state's music-therapy licensing law. "It is troubling that the Georgia Supreme Court will not consider whether the state legislature is allowed to keep secrets about how it governs," said IJ Senior Vice President and Litigation Director Dana Berliner. "Open access to public records is vital in any free society."
He said that when the Georgia General Assembly passed the Open Records Act, "it did not exempt itself even though it could have made that explicit." (Read more)

10. Someone Created a Federal PAC to Pay the Person Who Infects Trump with Coronavirus - Law and Crime
The group is named "10 Stacks to the person who infects Donald douchebag Trump with Coronavirus/Covid-19," and the official paperwork was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) establishing the organization as an entity legally entitled to raise and spend money in federal elections.
The group's form text file elaborates on what it apparently hopes to achieve: "CORONAVIRUS PLEASE KILL DONALD TRUMP!!!!" This is likely the kind of thing that will get the FBI or some other law enforcement knocking on your door.
According to the FEC filing, the committee was started on March 1 and designates itself as a "separate segregated fund" connected to a separate "membership organization."
An FEC information sheet explains: [Federal campaign finance law] prohibits corporations (profit or nonprofit), labor organizations and incorporated membership organizations from making direct contributions or expenditures in connection with federal elections. These organizations may, however, sponsor a separate segregated fund (SSF), popularly called a PAC, which collects contributions from a limited class of individuals and uses this money to make contributions and expenditures to influence federal elections. As the sponsor of the SSF (i.e., its "connected organization"), the corporation, labor organization or incorporated membership organization may absorb all the costs of establishing and operating the SSF and soliciting contributions to it. Prophetic implications of coronavirus-Part 1
China's coronavirus is a revealer of prophetic events, perhaps a type and shadow of what is to come. We have seen just how small the world is. Humanity is globally connected in this 21st Century. What happens in China can determine what happens in Ohio, or even in a small rural community in Africa. We can see how quickly devastation, panic, economic disaster, sickness and death can occur. If it gets worse and worse, we could see how nations can rise up against nations and how famines and wars could quickly develop. The tighter food and medical supplies become, the more likely the love of many shall wax cold. Neighbor could turn against neighbor, family member against family member. This is prophetic.
Christ warned in Matthew 24 and Luke 22 about events leading up to his return. He said in Matthew 24:6-8, "And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." He goes on to say that many shall be offended, there will be many false prophets that will deceive many, the love of many shall wax cold, and in verse 13, he says, "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
In 2005, I documented in my book "Warshod-living victoriously in the end times" that in the previous 100 years, small pox killed 300 million people, and influenza millions. In 1918, for example, a worldwide flu epidemic attacked about 20% of the global population, leaving some 50 million dead, 675,000 deaths in the US. Do you not think that those who were alive then believed the end times were upon them? Interesting that one of the three main theories of the origin of the 1918 flu virus is China. In a 14-year period from 1991-2005, I documented that earthquake frequency had increased 88%, and that in the 1900s, 165 wars and tyrannies contributed to 180 million deaths-100 million attributed to communism. This was a 125% increase in war-related deaths over the previous century. Famine follows war.
Many scare-monger preachers may be trying to say that China's coronavirus is one of the bowl judgments in Revelation. It is not. Read your Bible. The bowl judgments come AFTER the beast (antichrist) has taken control in the last 3 ½ years of Jacobs Troubles, commonly referred to as the Tribulation. We have not seen such a figure as yet. We can, however, through this virus example, see how the entire world can be impacted by a single event and how a leader might arise. Our response-First, as Christ said, do not be deceived. Second, this is an opportunity, not to place blame and be angry, but to show the love of Christ to others. Bond together. Help one another. Pray for one another. Have empathy. Do not fear. More tomorrow.

Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

[As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]
