Headlines to Warm Your Heart on this Day after His Resurrection

1. Prison Fellowship to reach more prisoners than ever before with online Easter service - Christian Post

Notable inmate ministry Prison Fellowship will be showing their annual Easter Hope event online in at least 20 states, making it available to more inmates than ever before.

Every year since the early days of Prison Fellowship, the late Chuck Colson, the organization's founder, held an Easter celebration event at prisons in one of the 50 states.

But due to coronavirus concerns and state lockdowns to curb the spread of the virus, Prison Fellowship had to cancel their in-person Easter Hope event, scheduled to take place in Georgia.

In response to the shutdown, the ministry produced an Easter celebration video featuring music, personal testimonies, and an altar call that will air in prisons across the nation.

James Ackerman, president of Prison Fellowship, told The Christian Post that unlike past years, when they focused on one state, Easter 2020 will have "a broader reach" in states ranging from "California to Georgia." (Read more)

2. 'We need Easter as much as ever,' says Queen - Christian Today

The Queen has spoken of the power of light over darkness in her first Easter message in which she also said that coronavirus "will not overcome us." "As darkness falls on the Saturday before Easter Day, many Christians would normally light candles together. In church, one light would pass to another, spreading slowly and then more rapidly as more candles are lit. "It's a way of showing how the good news of Christ's resurrection has been passed on from the first Easter by every generation until now."

She went on to say that the different way of doing things this year did not mean that Easter was "cancelled" and that rather the holiest day in the Christian calendar was needed "as much as ever".

"This year, Easter will be different for many of us but by keeping apart we keep others safe. But Easter isn't cancelled; indeed, we need Easter as much as ever," she said. "The discovery of the risen Christ on the first Easter Day gave his followers new hope and fresh purpose, and we can all take heart from this.

"We know that Coronavirus will not overcome us. As dark as death can be - particularly for those suffering with grief - light and life are greater. May the living flame of the Easter hope be a steady guide as we face the future." (Read more)

3. New Orleans archbishop, rabbi deliver coronavirus blessings from sky in World War II-era plane - Fox News

The Archbishop of New Orleans and a rabbi took to the sky in a World War II-era plane Friday to bless the entire community as the coronavirus pandemic forced residents to remain isolated inside their homes for Passover and Easter.

Archbishop Gregory Aymond, 70, and 29-year-old Rabbi Lexi Erdheim flew in a 1943 Boeing PT-17 Stearman biplane on "spirit flights" that passed over Kenner, Gretna and the French Quarter, The Times-Picayune reported. Aymond, who recently recovered from the virus, was the first to go up in the plane, once used to train WWII fighter pilots. From the open-air cockpit, he prayed for protection and healing, and sprinkled holy water that came from the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized.

Erdheim, of Congregation Gates of Prayer in Metairie, took off in the same plane later Friday to offer a Passover blessing. People of all faiths kept on eye on the skies to catch a glimpse of the prayer flights. (Read more)

4. Pastor Jeffress shares message of keeping faith on Easter Sunday: 'Good can come out of evil' - Fox News

Speaking on "Fox & Friends Weekend" on Easter Sunday, Pastor Robert Jeffress, a FOX News contributor, shared his message of hope amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Jeffress, senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, said, "One of the silver linings is the fact that today more people are going to hear that Easter message, the message of hope, than any time in history because of technology like online technology."

"People are stuck at home. They're going to hear the message they need to hear the most," he continued. "I really believe we're going to come out of this crisis and we are going to come out of it stronger and I think we'll be more benevolent towards those around us and I think we'll be reminded like never before of the brevity of life."

. . . One of the people who said he had planned to remotely watch Pastor Jeffress' Easter Sunday service was President Trump. . . (Read more)

SPECIAL REPORT!

Presidential Message on Easter, 2020

Melania and I join millions of Christians celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the gift of eternal life this Easter. Although this year's observance of Easter comes during a somber time for our Nation, we hope all of you are filled with the joy, love, and hope that marks this holiest of days.

As our Nation has faced the unique challenges posed by the coronavirus during the past few weeks, we have turned to God for guidance, comfort, and hope. Throughout this difficult period, we have witnessed the core tenets of Christianity-love, compassion, and kindness-reflected in the many acts of courage, generosity, and caring of the American people. Our country's citizens have taken to heart the words of 1 Peter 4:10: "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." Countless Americans have selflessly answered the calls for help in their communities and have performed extraordinary acts to help their neighbors in times of need. Healthcare workers and medical professionals have worked tirelessly to heal the sick, and thousands of volunteers, first responders, critical workers, and businesses have contributed their time and resources to help defeat this virus.

No matter the circumstances, we will always celebrate Easter as a time of rejuvenation, rebirth, and a renewed sense of purpose and faith. The coronavirus will not stop Easter. Even in the darkest hours, God's abundant love and mercy are unwavering. The light of Christ will always triumph over the trials and tribulations we face because He has defeated death. Today, let us take a little extra time to pray for the strength of our country and our people, and ask that God hold all Americans in the palm of His hand. Together, let us rejoice in knowing that Christ has risen.

We send our best wishes for a blessed and joyous Easter.

Focus on Israel

1. Lockdown lifted as Israel's corona count hits 10,995 - Jerusalem Post

The curfew and other restrictions imposed on Israelis to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic over the Passover holiday were lifted Friday at 6 a.m., notwithstanding that the number of Israelis infected with the novel virus has hit 10,095, of whom 164 are in serious condition, and 93 have died.

As of Friday morning, 125 people are intubated.

An extension through the end of the seven-day Festival of Freedom that was considered would have continued the ban on intercity travel except in urgent cases and when food, medicine or other essential services are not available nearby. Still, public transport - except cabs - and flights will not run until Sunday morning. And, as has become the new normal, citizens will only be able to walk 100 meters from their home.

Channel 12 reported that some airlines received permission from the Transportation and Interior ministries to land in the country, including from places with high coronavirus counts, such as New York City. Those travelers cleared customs at Ben-Gurion Airport without being tested for coronavirus and weren't ordered into isolation, according to the news. The Health Ministry said it was unaware of the flights.

2. Israel's exit strategy: No flights or gatherings until September - Israel National News

Senior government officials estimate that Israel will begin to gradually reopen the economy after the Passover holiday, but some Health Ministry guidelines will remain in place for months.

Workplaces will reopen gradually, while taking precautions and ensuring social distancing rules are kept. Malls will remain closed during the first stage, as will cafes and restaurants. Gatherings will be forbidden until at least September.

Senior government officials told Yediot Aharonot that even after the malls reopen, their food courts will remain closed. Regular flights will only resume in September.

3. New Israeli-designed mask creates 'air curtain' for those treating COVID-19 - TImes of Israel

A hospital in Haifa on Friday became the first facility to use a new type of protective mask created in Israel for medical personnel treating patients with COVID-19.

The face covering, which was developed by Rambam Medical Center's research department and the Technion, is attached to a pump that sends filtered air into the mask. This is designed to help prevent infection from droplets, which is how the coronavirus is primarily transmitted.

The transmission of filtered air into the mask "creates a sort of 'air curtain' that separates between the doctor and the surroundings that may include the virus," Dr. Ronen Zalts of Rambam, the first hospital to use the mask, told Channel 12.

4. Gantz requests extension for unity government negotiations - Israel National News

Knesset Speaker and Blue and White Chairman MK Benny Gantz asked President Reuven Rivlin to extend his mandate to form a government.

Gantz wrote to Rivlin, "The political, medical, and social crises have led me to decide that, even at a heavy political and personal cost, I will do everything I can to form a [unity] government with the Likud. I have decided that [in light of the present crisis] it would be correct to reject important [personal] achievements and aspirations in order to do what is required [at the moment]. This decision necessitated difficult political choices of national significance."

Regarding negotiations that have taken place up till now, Gantz wrote, "We have led intense discussions for establishing a government. In fact, I think we are close to signing an agreement which will require [additional time]."

Gantz appealed to Rivlin for a two-week extension in coalition talks, asserting: "We can meet the challenge that the situation has posed . . . and within the time outline presented by the President, establish a national reconciliation government for all its citizens that will uphold its institutions, meet the challenge presented by the coronavirus and begin the economic rehabilitation process."

5. Joint Arab List Presents Demands for Endorsing Gantz Government - Jewish Press

The Three No's:

No "Jewish Majority" Coalition
No Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria
No ministerial position for Avigdor Liberman

Joint List Party leader Ayman Odeh said on Thursday if Blue and White leader Benny Gantz must back down from the idea of a "Jewish majority" coalition and abandon efforts to extend Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria before the Joint List can recommend that he form Israel's next government.

"Right now, with Gantz's attitude [in favor] of a Jewish majority and unilateral annexation, we have no one to recommend to the president," Odeh told Israel's Kan news. "If there is a change after the elections in the direction of peace and equality, we will weigh our position again."

Prior to Israel's March 2 elections, Gantz said he would not partner with the controversial Joint Arab List, which appears to be the country's third-largest party in the wake of the elections. That list of parties has said it prefers to comprise with a "Jewish majority" coalition.

Gantz was lambasted by non-Jewish Israelis for his use of the phrase and subsequently apologized, saying he really meant "Zionist majority."

1. Dr. Fauci Claims It's 'Possible' That Americans Will Carry 'Certificates of Immunity' - Western Journal

Dr. Anthony Fauci confirmed Friday the idea of Americans carrying "certificates of immunity" is being considered as a possibility to identify people who have been infected with the coronavirus and help reopen the U.S. economy in the coming weeks. "Can you imagine a time where Americans carry certificates of immunity?" CNN "New Day" host Alisyn Camerota asked Fauci during an interview Friday. "You know, that's possible," Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, replied. "It's one of those things that we talk about when we want to make sure that we know who the vulnerable people are and not." He added, "This is something that's being discussed. I think it might actually have some merit, under certain circumstances."

The proposal is contingent on the success of widespread antibody testing, which Fauci said could be available in "a week or so." "If their antibody test is positive, one can formulate strategies about whether or not they would be at risk or vulnerable to getting re-infected," Fauci said. The results of these tests would be especially important for health care workers to know if they could be protected from the virus after exposure. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask that You would grace President Trump, VP Mike Pence, Dr. Fauci and all who have authority on this task force to be given Your wisdom in such critical matters. Let them discern correctly the accurate balance between the need to keep our citizens safe from COVID-19 and the other need to honor our privacy rights. We ask this in Your Name, amen.

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye." (Psalm 32:8)

2. Most eligible Americans will receive coronavirus aid checks by April 15, Treasury official says - Fox News

The majority of eligible Americans will receive their coronavirus aid payments no later than April 15, Fox News has learned. A senior Treasury official told Fox News on Friday that by the middle of next week, tens of millions of eligible Americans will have money from the federal government directly deposited into their bank accounts.

Payments are already hitting some people's accounts as of Friday evening, Fox News is told. The official said Treasury is transmitting the batch of payments to the Federal Reserve for distribution to financial institutions across the nation. Those financial institutions will then distribute the payments into Americans' bank accounts.

The official explained that this first batch of payments will be received by Americans who filed their taxes in 2018 and/or in 2019 and received a refund via direct deposit. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You will meet the needs of the people with the aid checks and healing of their bodies through the Blood of Jesus. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." (Philippians 1:11)

3. Telehealth plays big role in coronavirus cure - Orlando Sentinel

As our country responds to the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic, we are working rapidly to change the way we practice medicine to keep people safe. One critical innovation is the use of telehealth, which allows patients to use smartphones, laptops, and other widely available technologies to connect with your healthcare team.

Under President Donald Trump's leadership, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has been toppling regulatory barriers to telehealth reimbursement during this emergency. For the duration of the pandemic, Medicare beneficiaries may now stay at home and use a commonly available interactive form of technology like FaceTime or Skype to have a telehealth office visit. Some hospitals and practices have online portals available as well, but you can also simply use your telephone. These developments are a game-changer for new and established patients, as well as their trusted clinicians.

Medicare has added more than 80 new services that can be provided via telehealth, such as physical therapy, speech or hearing therapy, radiation treatment management, group psychotherapy, inpatient neonatal and pediatric critical care, and end-stage renal disease services. During this pandemic, the option for telehealth has now been extended to home health, nursing home visits, and hospice as well. You can even make a "visit" to the emergency room through your phone. Crucially, Medicare copayments can be waived during this national crisis for all these telehealth services. (Read more)

- Father, we pray that these newly formed services be implemented in such a way that all the sick will be duly cared for. We pray You heal the sick and raise them up to live a healthy life. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

4. Economy to possibly reopen by end of April - WND

House Republicans hope to reopen the American economy by the end of April if progress has been made combating the coronavirus pandemic.

"Our focus is on locking down the virus while we're taking the steps now to prepare to reopen the economy by the end of the month if the virus permits," Rep. Kevin Brady, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, told reporters Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner.

The Texas Republican said that the unemployment and gross domestic product numbers will "feel brutal over the short term. It's because they are." "This economy is taking hits like we've not seen in most of our lifetimes," he said. "But it is just a short-term hit."

The Department of Labor reported that 6.6 million people filed for unemployment benefits during the last full week of March. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we are all in your hands and plead for mercy regarding this tremendous devastation caused by COVID-19. We pray for Your vast supply to meet the needs of this six million who have filed for unemployment benefits and all afflicted with the virus. Speak health over the people, Almighty God, both physically and spiritually. Draw people's hearts to the only true and holy God who is sufficient to meet every person right where they are. In the Name of Jesus.

"All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto You, which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him?"(Psalm 35:10)

5. FCC asked to revoke China Telecom's authorization to operate in U.S. - WND

The Federal Communications Commission has been asked by a coalition of executive branch agencies to "revoke and terminate" China Telecom Corp.'s permissions to provide international telecommunications services to and from the United States. The company, a U.S. subsidiary of a state-owned company in the People's Republic of China, has been under review of the Department of Justice. It based the recommendation on changes that have developed since the permission previously was granted in 2007, including the company's failure to follow a previous agreement with the federal department, according to officials with the Department of Justice.

"Today, more than ever, the life of the nation and its people runs on our telecommunications networks," said John C. Demers, assistant attorney general for National Security. "The security of our government and professional communications, as well as of our most private data, depends on our use of trusted partners from nations that share our values and our aspirations for humanity. Today's action is but our next step in ensuring the integrity of America's telecommunications systems." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray and trust You to open the eyes of all Americans who are in the telecom business to cease and desist all partnerships, agreements, contracts or future business connections with China. The proof has been their insidious deception, craftiness, theft, lies, broken agreements, and treachery against America. God, we pray that America will take a solid stand to ex-communicate Chinese participation from anything in America. We pray all this in the Name of Jesus.

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of them, my people, that you be not partakers of their sins, and that you receive not of their plagues." (Revelation 18:4)

6. Bernie Sanders spokeswoman says Dem leadership could be 'planning to replace' Biden - WND

Briahna Joy Gray, the now-former national press secretary for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign, suggested on social media that Democrats might replace former Vice President Joe Biden as their nominee.

Gray was responding to a clip on Twitter of Fox News host Tucker Carlson questioning Biden's mental fitness for office.

"Ask yourself, is Joe Biden ready to lead this country? Could he find his car in a three-tiered parking garage? Could he navigate a salad bar? And by the way, what exactly is his position on the coronavirus pandemic? "Those are the mysteries Democrats now face," Carlson said on his show Wednesday. (Read more)

- Father, we praise You for guiding the people to be included as nominees to run in the presidential campaign. You know the caliber and character needed in those who will plan to run for president. Lead and direct all the way, we pray, Lord. In the Name of Jesus.

7. Barr: Durham uncovering evidence 'far more troubing' than 'mistakes' - WND

U.S. Attorney John Durham is compiling troubling evidence in his investigation of the origins of the Obama administrations counter-intelligence probe of the 2016 Trump campaign that goes beyond "mistakes," said Attorney General William Barr.

"My own view is that the evidence shows that we're not dealing with just mistakes or sloppiness. There is something far more troubling here, and we're going to get to the bottom of it," he said in an interview with the Fox News Channel's Laura Ingraham aired Thursday night. "And if people broke the law, and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted," he said.

Last fall, Durham's review was upgraded to a criminal investigation, giving the prosecutor the power to impanel a grand jury and issue indictments. "He is looking to bring to justice people who are engaged in abuses if he can show that they were criminal violations, and that's what the focus is on," Barr said of Durham.

The attorney general noted it takes time to build a case on events that went on for more than two years. "So, he's diligently pursuing it," Barr said. Durham likely will issue a report of his findings, he said. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we ask that by Your power all the Obama counter-intelligence probe of the 2016 Trump campaign be totally exposed. God, enable Mr. Durham to get to the bottom of what happened. God we pray the guilty be brought to justice and tried and sentenced for all their wicked deeds. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and killed his brother." (I John 3:11-12)

8. Planned Parenthood of Greater New York closing centers, laying off staff - Times Union

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York has begun laying off and furloughing employees and will temporarily close a dozen of its health centers, citing a strain on resources posed by the coronavirus pandemic. The organization - which formed in January through the merger of five Planned Parenthood affiliates, including the Mohawk Hudson affiliate in the Capital Region - began terminating and furloughing staff on Monday, according to emails obtained by the Times Union. Staff will be reduced by about 28 percent across all departments, either through permanent termination, or through furloughs and reduced hours through June 30.

The temporary closure of health centers will leave some communities, such as Rome and Oneida in Central New York, with no nearby options for sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing or abortion services, according to staff at those centers. "Our concern is that there was no effort to keep offices open, even one or two days per week, in those communities," said one staff member who agreed to speak on condition of anonymity. "Those patients have a very hard time traveling, and don't have access to care anywhere else."

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York President and CEO Laura McQuade wrote in a letter to staff Monday that financial modeling showed losses for the affiliate ranging from $20 million to $32 million for the remainder of the year, depending on how long the pandemic lasts and its impact on fundraising. (Read more)

- Almighty God, all praises go to You for cutting the staff and the business coming into this abortion clinic. Father, we ask that You will shut the doors permanently to Planned Parenthood and that all abortions cease. Save the lives of the innocent babies, Lord. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

9. California Bill Would Keep Parents from Knowing When Children Have Abortions, Get Transgender Hormones - Christian Headlines

Planned Parenthood of California has made the passing of a bill that would block parents from knowing if their child had an abortion or received transgender hormone treatments one of their legislative priorities for this year.

SB 1004, sponsored by Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, would revise "California's existing patient protections to ensure that information about any sensitive services, as defined, is not sent to a third party or a policyholder not authorized to receive it." The bill expands the definition of "sensitive services" to include "services related to mental health, reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, substance abuse disorders, transgender health including gender-affirming care, and intimate partner violence."

Planned Parenthood of California frames its support for the bill as providing patients with greater confidentiality. In explaining their support, they say that, "When a patient accesses health care for a sensitive service, including sexual and reproductive health care, confidentiality is of the utmost importance." Then, they point out that communication from health insurance companies is not usually confidential and many seeking these services are not the "main policyholder." They continue, "This bill will expand upon California's existing protections to ensure that information about any sensitive services they receive is not sent to a third party they do not want to receive it, like an abusive spouse or their parents."

The California Family Council said the bill "undermines the rights of parents to oversee the medical decisions of their own children" and pointed out that the bill does not specify the precise medical procedures that it would keep confidential from parents. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we ask for Your oversight and guidance in protecting and improving the parent/child relationship under all circumstances. Block any and all outside entities from bringing harm or emotional trauma to these children. And we bind under the Blood of Jesus all transgender hormones being given to children. Let no child be victimized, and assign a holy angel to protect the boys and girls of all ages in today's world. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (I John 5:14-15)

10. Texas governor prepares executive order setting guidelines to reopen businesses - Washington Examiner

GOP Texas Gov. Greg Abbott plans to unveil an executive order with guidelines on how businesses can reopen.

Abbott held a press conference Friday to announce a forthcoming executive order that sets guidelines for how businesses can begin to reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic. "Next week, I will be providing an executive order talking about what will be done in Texas about reopening Texas businesses," Abbott said Friday, saying economic activity can resume "in a way that will be safe for that economic revitalization."

"We will focus on protecting lives while restoring livelihoods. We can and we must do this," said Abbott. (Read more)

- Father God, as Governor Abbott's plans are unveiled this week to begin to bring economic recovery for the State of Texas, we ask that his plan would serve to become a strategy for other states to follow. Amen.

Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)

WHO Failed

WHO Failed

Since its inception 72 years ago almost to the day, the World Health Organization (WHO) has been credited with the eradication of smallpox and the near eradication of other devastating illnesses, including leprosy and river blindness.

This record of success makes the current corruption of the organization all the more shameful.

On December 30, Chinese doctor Li Wenliang warned colleagues about the outbreak of an illness resembling severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), which sparked a pandemic in 2003. Public-health officials rely on the acuity of doctors like Li, whose early warnings prevent the spread of deadly diseases. But Chinese authorities didn't reward Li; they summoned him to the Public Security Bureau in Wuhan on accusations that he had made false statements and disrupted the public order.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) followed up with numerous other arrests, and publicly warned that it would punish anyone spreading "rumors" on social media. By mid January, Chinese doctors knew that COVID-19 was spreading between humans, but on January 14, the WHO stated that there was "no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus." Two weeks later, WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus flew to Beijing for a meeting with Chinese president Xi Jinping, who so impressed Tedros that he lauded Chinese authorities for "setting a new standard for outbreak control," praising their "openness for sharing information."

Dr. Li might have disagreed with that sentiment. Alas, he was never able to voice his objections: He died after contracting COVID-19.

When the WHO emergency committee discussed whether to declare COVID-19 a public-health emergency on January 23, international observers had definitively discredited Chinese health data. Yet Tedros relied on those data in arguing against declaring an emergency - over the objections of other committee members. That decision delayed the mobilization of public-health resources around the world. John Mackenzie, a committee member, attributed the delay to "very poor reporting" and "very poor communication" from the CCP. After finally declaring an emergency on January 30, Tedros continued to lavish praise on China. As late as February 20, he argued that Chinese actions were "slowing the spread [of coronavirus] to the rest of the world."

- Father, we pray against such rank deception and corruption amongst all the members of the World Health Organization and Chinese Communist Party. The blood of millions of people who fell victim to COVID-19 are on the heads of all who are guilty in WHO and the CCP. The power of rank sin and wickedness is quite evident. God, we pray protection for all people everywhere. We pray against the spirit of mass murder wherever it may be found. We ask in the Name of Jesus, amen.

FBI Update

FBI had information Steele dossier was part of 'Russian disinformation campaign,' declassified footnotes show

The FBI's Crossfire Hurricane team investigating the Trump 2016 campaign received multiple indications that former British spy Christopher Steele -- one of their key informants in their investigation -- was part of an elaborate "Russian disinformation campaign," according to several newly declassified footnotes from Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz's report on FBI misconduct. "It's ironic that the Russian collusion narrative was fatally flawed because of Russian disinformation," Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who had pushed for the declassification, said in a statement to Fox News on Friday. "These footnotes confirm that there was a direct Russian disinformation campaign in 2016, and there were ties between Russian intelligence and a presidential campaign - the Clinton campaign, not Trump's."

At the same time, Grassley's office added that "the senators expect a fuller declassification in the coming days," including a version of the footnotes that does not redact the names of those who raised the alarm about Steele. Some in Grassley's office, including Grassley himself, have seen the fully declassified footnotes, and want them publicly released immediately, Fox News is told. One of the footnotes, which was previously redacted in its entirety, read: "The [REDACTED] stated that it did not have high confidence in this subset of Steele's reporting and assessed that the referenced subset was part of a Russian disinformation campaign to denigrate US foreign relations." That subset referred to the activities of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, whom Steele's dossier claimed had traveled to Prague to meet with Russian agents. Special Counsel Robert Mueller was unable to substantiate that claim, and Cohen has denied it.

The footnote goes on to state that a 2017 report "contained information . . . that the public reporting about the details of Trump's [REDACTED] activities in Moscow during a trip in 2013 were false, and that they were the product of RIS 'infiltra[ing] a source into the network' of a [REDACTED] who compiled a dossier of information on Trump's activities."

- Father, we ask that through the power of God You will disclose the truth of why this subject remains a part of the news. This is the work of Trump's enemy who lost the race. We ask that You will shred everything being used against President Trump through this article and any other news pertaining to this subject. Abolish all of it. By the power of God and through the Name of Jesus we pray.

Tornadoes strike Mississippi, Louisiana, as severe weather outbreak unfolds on Easter in South

More than a dozen confirmed tornadoes have struck Mississippi and Louisiana on Sunday, damaging homes, as the South faced an onslaught of severe weather.

National Weather Service [NWS] officials said 13 confirmed tornadoes had appeared across both states, the Clarion Ledger reported.

The city of Monroe, La., announced on Twitter there were "reports of damage in multiple neighborhoods" after the storm moved through shortly before noon on Sunday.

"Please cooperate with any emergency officials who may give instructions to you or your neighbors. More details to come," the city said. "Please pray for all!" (Read more and see photos of the damage from these storms by going here.)

- Lord God, we thank You that no lives have been lost in these monster storms, and we ask Your hand of protection to rest upon those who will yet be in their paths today. Thank You, Father, for Your mercy upon us, in Your name, Amen.

"He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways."
(Psalm 91:11)

"The Return of the Prodigal Court"

Submitted by: Phillip L. Jauregui

Judicial Action Group

Dear Friends,

As we draw near to God through Passover, Good Friday and Resurrection Day I want to share the above story about the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is like the prodigal son, but I believe they are returning to The Father and to their proper constitutional role.

May the Lord bless you and your family this Passover and give you His perfect peace!

Respectfully,

Phillip L. Jauregui

A Great Idea!

A Great Idea!

Celebrating our Coronavirus Easter!

Resurrection Sunday, April10, 2020 was not stolen in Stark County, Canton, Ohio. I share this good news report with great appreciation for the organizing partners who brought this "special event" to our city/county.

-- Submitted by: Diane Rodd

I just got back from our "sheltering in place household of three" from a Resurrection Celebration with a "wheels of worship and prayer drive" through the streets of our county seat. We gathered in our cars at the JC Penny parking lot at 7:30am and moved out with police escort at 8am and drove in a 200-300 funeral-like car procession without a dead body!!!! Jesus is Alive!!!! Driving through all kinds of neighborhoods, past all kinds of businesses, praying and waving at people in their windows, was a delight. Our favorite "drive-past" was Canton Christian Home around 9am seeing the residents all waving from their windows and the staff in their blue masks. It was a "New Thing," a "Unified Easter Parade," totally devoted to Christ's victory over death.

I pray it becomes a yearly event as the time from from 7:30am-9am hopefully won't interfere with church events for Resurrrection Day 2021. I really don't want to go "back to normal."

Another Great Idea!

Another Great Idea!

One of my neighbors was inspired to invite everyone on our Court to come out of our homes at 7:30 p.m. and join in as follows:

Another neighbor has a beautiful American flag hanging on their front porch. So, at the "appointed time," all who desire to do so will merge on the Court and recite the Pledge of Allegiance to that flag, and then SING "God Bless America!"

Tonight was our first night to gather in this Coronavirus protest, and it was great fun!

So much fun, in fact, that we have set our hearts to repeat this simple act every night (unless it rains) until the "stay at home" order is lifted.

Maybe you all can do this, too!

FREE OF CHARGE! (Jesus paid the price)

Pass it on!

A Classic Hymn

Classic Hymns

JESUS PAID IT ALL

"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow." (Isaiah 1:18)

Lyrics

I hear the Savior say,
"Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all."

Refrain

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim,
I'll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.

Refrain

And now complete in Him
My robe His righteousness,
Close sheltered 'neath His side,
I am divinely blest.

Refrain

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Refrain

When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
"Jesus died my soul to save,"
Shall rend the vaulted skies.

Refrain

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I'll lay my trophies down
All down at Jesus' feet.

Refrain

Signs and Wonders

Signs and Wonders

Bright Comet ATLAS could blaze into view this month!

There has been a lot of talk in recent days on social media regarding the approach of a new comet that could possibly evolve into a spectacular sight in the coming weeks ahead.

The comet has been christened "ATLAS" which is an acronym for Asteroid Terrestrial-Impact Last Alert System ("ATLAS"); a robotic astronomical survey and early warning system based in Hawaii, optimized for detecting smaller near-Earth objects a few weeks to a few days before they impact Earth.

But besides finding asteroids, ATLAS has also found more than half a dozen comets. The one that everyone is currently interested in is classified at C/2019 Y4.

When first sighted on Dec. 28, 2019, the comet was an exceedingly faint object, but in the days and weeks that followed, it brightened at an incredibly rapid pace. In fact, from the time of discovery through March 17, Comet ATLAS increased some 27,500-fold in brightness!

Such an incredible rise in luster, plus the fact that calculations showed that it was moving an orbit virtually identical to the "Great Comet of 1844," suggested that ATLAS was on its way to becoming a dazzling object. Indeed, some calculations suggested that when the comet arrives at perihelion - its closest point to the sun - on May 31 - that it might rival the planet Venus or even the full moon in brilliance!

But based on observations made over the past couple of weeks, that doesn't look very likely to happen.

What happened?

For all intents and purposes, Comet ATLAS hit a wall on March 17. Ever since that time, the comet's incredible rise in brightness has dramatically slowed. Over the last two weeks, the comet has brightened by only about 0.5 magnitude. (Magnitude is a measurement of brightness used by astronomers, with lower numbers denoting brighter objects.)

Good News Corner

The Good News Corner

Hulk Hogan's message about COVID-19 and his faith in Jesus Christ

Most celebrities are spending their time in isolation during the COVID-19 crisis having meltdowns on social media or plotting ways to take down Trump.

But there are a small handful who are actually making a difference and sharing a positive message.

And Hulk Hogan posted a viral status about his faith in Jesus Christ during this crisis that will leave you completely speechless.

Hollywood's reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed how out of touch and elitist celebrities have become.

These celebrities demand people stay at home and forgo working while they "isolate" in their mansions with no financial concerns in the world.

However, Hulk Hogan's reaction to the crisis has generated a lot of buzz and gives Christians a lot to think about.

Hogan wrote, "In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship. God said, 'you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters.

"You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don't want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can't go to church."

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

Reading the Bible Together

> > > Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week!! ALL NIGHT LONG!

We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]

Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075. The access code is: 206425#.

Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."

Hallelujah!!

Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!

In closing, let us decree together that . . .

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

AMEN!!
