A Thought for the Day

A Thought for the Day:

The Coming of our Messiah

John 2:1-11

Saints of God,

As I have been in prayer recently, our Lord has quickened to me this truth, based upon His time with us on the earth.

You may recall that, when Jesus first made His appearance as our Messiah, he did not come with an announcement filled with great "pomp and circumstance."

No . . . . He simply and quietly came for the BRIDE. Our Lord made his debut as our Messiah at the wedding of Cana. He came to honor the Bride.

And then, came more to this story:

At the wedding of Cana, our Lord performed His first miracle: He turned the water into WINE.

Think about this: when the bride had no more wine, Our Lord Jesus provided MORE.

His supply NEVER ran out!

So . . . in this critical hour in our nation, when the wells of many of us are running dry:

JESUS HAS COME FOR HIS BRIDE (us), AND HIS SUPPLY NEVER RUNS OUT!

Let's rejoice in His goodness to us in this day, and let's be quick to recognize those whose paths we cross who, too, may be seeking the way to salvation.

Amen.

- Father God, our Messiah, we thank You that You have chosen to call us Your Bride. We thank You for the LOVE you poured out for each of us when You hung on that Cross, canceling all sin and setting us free to worship You in Spirit and in Truth.

We thank You, too, Holy One, that as Your children, we will always be sustained by Your supply:

Your supply of grace, of provision, and most importantly of Your JOY within our hearts, which is our STRENGTH.

We thank You, dear God, for Your love for each one of us. May we each shine Your light now, in the darkness of these times . . . serving as beacons of HOPE in a world of despair, for YOU, Holy Father, will never allow our wine to cease. We offer this prayer in Your Mighty Name, amen.

"And the Spirit and the Bride say: 'Come!'" (Revelation 22:17)

Prayerfully submitted:

Focus on Israel

1. Gantz weighing limited West Bank settlement annexation - report - Jerusalem Post

Blue and White Party head Benny Gantz would consider a limited plan to apply Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank that focused on the settlement blocs, Channel 13 reported on Saturday night.

But Gantz would only do so as part of a dialogue with the international community with an eye toward not taking any steps that would close the door on negotiations with the Palestinians.

The international community holds that any two-state solution must be based on the pre-1967 lines and does not take the settlement blocs into consideration.

The subject of annexation has been one of the sticking points in the ongoing negotiations between Gantz and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the formation of a government.

2. Senior Gantz adviser: Foreign, Defense, Justice ministries will go to the left - Israel National News

Ronen Tzur, a senior adviser to Blue and White Chairman MK Benny Gantz, on Saturday night spoke about the negotiations between Blue and White and Likud, and the achievements Gantz had made.

According to Tzur, the Foreign, Defense, and Justice ministries, staffed by right-wing ministers for so many years, will be given to Blue and White.

On Friday afternoon, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke with Defense Minister Naftali Bennett (Yamina), agreeing that they wanted to work together, but that there was a disagreement regarding the terms of that cooperation.

Yamina said it "[would] not be part of the game between Netanyahu and Gantz. For a week already, Netanyahu has been handling the negotiations alone, without telling his partners of the past year. If Netanyahu has sold everything that is important to the right, then we have no intention of being a fig leaf in a leftist government headed by him, which sells the Justice Ministry, eliminates sovereignty, cancels the Kaminetz Law, and more."

3. Netanyahu Tests Negative for Coronavirus as Cases Soar in Israel - Jerusalem Online

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has tested negative for coronavirus, the government's press service said on Friday.

"The prime minister tested negative for the coronavirus," the press service said. On Thursday, Netanyahu's spokeswoman, Anna Jonathan-Leus, said that the prime minister had quarantined himself for the second time after the country's health minister, Yaakov Litzman, was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Netanyahu had just gotten out of a two-day quarantine on Wednesday, which he entered after his adviser on ultra-Orthodox affairs, Rivka Paluch, tested positive for COVID-19. The prime minister was not in direct contact with Paluch.

Check-ups on the prime minister, his family and inner circle showed that none of them were infected.

4. Beitar Goes into Lockdown - Jewish Press

Beginning Sunday evening, only local residents and suppliers will be allowed in and out of the Haredi town of Beitar Ilit in Gush Etzion.

The municipality sent out messages that only the nuclear family that is present all year long will be allowed to be at the family Passover Seders, in an effort to reduce the number of people that get infected.

The move follows the lock down of Bnei Brak, and the discussion to lock down other haredi towns and neighborhoods which are believed to have been hit hard by the coronavirus.

5. Islamic Waqf carries out Temple Mount digs, despite coronavirus lockdown - JNS

The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf on Tuesday uploaded pictures to its official Facebook page showing Waqf employees carrying out unauthorized digs on the Temple Mount.

"Despite the closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram esh-Sharif [the Temple Mount] due to coronavirus, the staff, workers and guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque are continuing their hard work," wrote the Jordanian-backed Waqf, which administers the Temple Mount.

The Arab Desk of the Zionist watchdog Im Tirtzu, which first reported the unauthorized dig, accused the Waqf of taking advantage of the nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic to carry out illegal work at the site aimed at "destroying Jewish artifacts and history."

1. 'He just got better and better': 104-year-old Army veteran beats coronavirus in time to celebrate his birthday - Stars and Stripes

When William "Bill" Lapschies celebrated his 104th birthday with his family over chocolate cake and his favorite pizza on Wednesday, he wasn't just marking another annual milestone in his long, full life. He was also celebrating a full recovery from the novel coronavirus as one of the oldest-known survivors of COVID-19 in the U.S.

In early March, Lapschies and a small group of elderly tenants living together in a state-run veterans' facility in Lebanon, Ore., started feeling ill. They were among the first Oregon residents to test positive for coronavirus, and Lapschies' family worried the illness would prove deadly. "We all thought, 'He's 103, what are the odds he's going to come out of this?'" granddaughter Jamie Yutzie told The Washington Post.

Lapschies' illness played out like a roller-coaster ride. Some days, he appeared to improve, smiling behind a medical mask as doctors prodded and poked, checking for fever and respiratory distress. Other days, his condition declined. "That virus goes up and down, and you really don't know what the next day is going to bring," Yutzie said. "After those couple of long days where we weren't quite sure, he just got better and better."

His family visited him several times a week, watching through a window in his room and calling him so that they could hear his voice. On Friday, doctors said he had cleared the virus and could celebrate, his granddaughter told The Post. By Wednesday, his 104th birthday, Lapschies was feeling healthy again, able to remove his mask and step outside for the first time in weeks. "He is fully recovered. He is very perky," daughter Carolee Brown told The Oregonian. "And he is very excited."(Read more)

- Father God, this is victory. This is the Lord's manifested healing for Bill, this precious 104-year old man. Thank You, Lord, for resurrection life for Bill. We pray that the same visitation be manifest in the lives of the thousands who are now fighting this illness. In Jesus' Name we pray.

"For in the Lord we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:28)

2. THE GOOD NEWS Crosses Popping Up Across GA Counties: 'God Is the Ultimate Healer' - CBN

A new Facebook page is spreading "faith not fear" across one Georgia county, and its members are using crosses to remind people to have faith during the COVID-19 pandemic which has changed daily life in America for the time being. Mary Spence Hurst, the administrator of the page, told CBN News in an email that she created the page, which was modeled after another page in Jefferson County created by Susan Polhill. Polhill's page currently has more than 7,600 members.

Hurst said the people in Emanuel County have been very receptive to the idea of the crosses. "The community has come out in force to support this idea," she noted. "I think we all need reminders that God is the ultimate healer during this time."

Several members of the Emanuel County Faith Not Fear Crosses page are also making crosses for people to display in their yards, at the entrance of their neighborhoods and on street corners. One member posted on Tuesday that more than 275 crosses have been given out this week. "Pray Hard that God heals our land," wrote Jody Underwood. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for raising up these Good News Crosses all over Georgia. It is resounding loudly that the Cross, representing Jesus the risen Lord, is the answer to everything that is filling this world today. We pray You strengthen all who are participating in this marvelous ministry. Praise You Lord. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

3. MUST SEE VIDEOS Doctors Praying Inside as Christians Surround Hospitals to Pray Outside Against Coronavirus - CBN

People across the nation are coming together to pray for and support the health care workers who are risking their lives every day to serve the sick. Numerous people gathered outside a hospital in Albany, Georgia and prayed for safety over the men and women working inside Phoebe Putney Medical Systems. As they sat in their vehicles, those who attended the prayer vigil raised their hands to God for mercy and grace to be present.

Dozens of different vehicles parked outside Poinciana Medical Center in Kissimmee, Florida where the sound of horns honking and headlights flashing could be seen - all to show love and support for the hospital staff. Car and trucks were jammed packed around Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama where people prayed for God's protection for all those affected by the Coronavirus.

While dressed in their gowns and masks, a team of doctors listen to worship music inside the hospital and pray together for their patients. Another video shows doctors and nurses on their knees praying aloud, "Grant us favor as we seek your faith, O God, to bring divine healing from heaven."

In a hospital hallway, medical staff gathered and tearfully prayed together for God's help during these challenging times. "We ask you to encourage them to be the leaders You have called them to be. Lord give them patience, strength and most of all love. Help them to see You in the difficult times."

Please continue to pray for those at the front lines who are battling the Coronavirus outbreak. (Read more)

- Father, this virus has thrown our world into a war. But God, You have walked in and raised up an army of saints, who are called to lift their voices and hearts toward heaven. We join them now, praying for heaven to come down and spread the glory of the Lord over everyone, every hospital, every doctor, and nurse and caregiver. The Lord will change this darkness to the Light by God's presence. For all this, we are most thankful. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1)

4. Republicans Set April Target Date for Reopening Economy - Western Journal

House Republicans hope to reopen the American economy by the end of April if progress has been made combating the coronavirus pandemic.

"Our focus is on locking down the virus while we're taking the steps now to prepare to reopen the economy by the end of the month if the virus permits," Rep. Kevin Brady, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, told reporters Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner.

The Texas Republican said that the unemployment and gross domestic product numbers will "feel brutal over the short term. It's because they are."

"This economy is taking hits like we've not seen in most of our lifetimes," he said. "But it is just a short-term hit." (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for Rep. Kevin Brady who has come out of the fire and now is pressing toward a recoverable economy in America. We stand with him and pray that You, by Your power, will bring total recovery for our economy. God, break the powers that have crippled the world. We pray people will look to God for deliverance and restoration. We ask in the Name of Jesus.

"Let every soul. be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." (Romans 13:1)

5. Anyone near Trump or Pence will be given rapid coronavirus test: White House - Reuters

With the coronavirus contagion spreading, the White House said on Friday that anyone expected to be near President Donald Trump or Vice President Mike Pence will be given a rapid COVID-19 test out of an abundance of caution.

The test is expected to be the same quick-action test that Trump took on Thursday. He took the Abbott Laboratories test, which provides results in 15 minutes or less.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said, "starting today anyone who is expected to be in close proximity to either of them will be administered a COVID-19 test to evaluate for pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic carriers status to limit inadvertent transmission." One of the vexing revelations about the virus is that infected people can spread it without even knowing they have the illness or before symptoms have become evident. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we earnestly pray for President Trump and Vice President Pence to be covered with the healing power of the Blood of Jesus and are totally virus free. Hold them in Your hands, Lord, and direct their steps to walk free of any contact with that virus. They are called of God to fill the highest positions in the world and we pray You clothe them with the presence of the Holy Spirit. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him." (Colossians 3:17)

6. Trump campaign donating meals to hospitals during coronavirus crisis - Fox News

The Trump campaign has been donating meals to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Fox News has learned.

Since last Thursday, President Trump's reelection campaign has been calling up local restaurants and ordering large amounts of food to be delivered to more than a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state and Michigan. The campaign has been placing these orders anonymously, but Fox News learned about the effort - and sources confirmed it.

One source told Fox News that the campaign was looking to not only express gratitude for first responders treating patients with COVID-19, but to support local restaurants.

"They're doing it as a donor who cares," one source told Fox News. "So nothing politically is tied to it. We're just trying to, you know, show a thank you." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for President Trump who has given meals so generously to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses, first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle. God bless him a hundredfold for his great concern for all Americans and thousands of other people. Bless him abundantly, Lord God. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry." (Psalm 34:15)

7. Trump taps Kavanaugh ally for seat on influential appeals court - Reuters

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday announced plans to nominate a vocal ally of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to an influential federal appeals court in Washington.

Justin Walker, 37, who has served as a federal district court judge in Kentucky since October, would replace Republican appointee Judge Thomas Griffith on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit if approved by the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate.

Griffith, appointed by former President George W. Bush, had previously announced his plans to retire. After Trump nominated conservative judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court in 2018, Walker frequently appeared on cable TV, including Fox News, talking up the nominee's conservative credentials.

"He is a warrior with a backbone of iron," Walker told Fox at the time. He also called Kavanaugh "a fighter for conservative legal principles" who would not "go wobbly" if appointed to the Supreme Court. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for Your hand to be upon this ally of Justice Kavanaugh to be a powerful judge in the federal appeals court in Washington. Equip him with the warrior's armor and godly strength to fight and win every battle in victory for the conservatives' values. Clear the way for him to stand in unison with President Trump. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." (Colossians 3:23)

8. Coronavirus patients delivered to hospital ship Comfort in New York by mistake: US officials - Fox News

Multiple patients infected with coronavirus were transferred to the hospital ship Comfort from the Javits Center in New York by mistake, three U.S. officials tell Fox News. The number of Covid-19 patients brought on board the hospital ship was estimated to be "less than five," one official said.

The patients were transferred sometime Friday, according to the officials. At the time the patients were transferred to the hospital ship Comfort, the initial screening did not indicate they were positive, officials said. Part of the protocol before receiving patients onboard Comfort is for a coronavirus test to be performed. The swab test came back hours later, the patients remained in isolation and spent a night onboard the vessel, which is only supposed to treat trauma patients, not Covid-19 positive patients. The Covid-19 positive patients have already been delivered back to the Javits center Saturday morning to continue their treatment, one official said. The Javits Center has been transformed into a 3,000 bed makeshift hospital by the Army Corps of Engineers.

The officials called the risk to the hospital ship's crew "low," because of the protocols were already in place. "We were prepared with a contingency plan in case we received patients that later tested positive. Immediately upon arrival the patients were isolated while awaiting the test results," the official added.

. . . The coronavirus has claimed the lives of 3,500 people in New York, a number that has doubled since Wednesday. (Read more)

- Father, we earnestly pray that all personnel who are responsible for the care and location of infected patients not take them from one place to another, thus spreading the virus. We pray those with the virus will be quarantined with great care so as not to spread the disease. Draw people's hearts toward the Lord to accept Jesus as Savior of their souls. Transfer their thoughts to think of eternity, heaven or hell, and make serious decisions to cry out to God. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."(Romans 10:9-10)

9. American Ingenuity: COVID Vaccine Simply Applied to Skin Believed To Have Stopped Virus - Western Journal

Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh believe they have tested a potential vaccine for coronavirus, one that could "significantly impact the spread of disease."

According to a news release from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the potential vaccine would be "delivered through a fingertip-sized patch" with "a microneedle array" that would inject the vaccine through 400 small needles applied like a Band-Aid.

The potential vaccine was announced in a paper published in EBioMedicine on Thursday. It's the first potential vaccine to be reviewed by other scientists

"We developed this to build on the original scratch method used to deliver the smallpox vaccine to the skin, but as a high-tech version that is more efficient and reproducible patient to patient," Dr. Louis Falos, the paper's co-senior author, said in the release. "And it's actually pretty painless - it feels kind of like Velcro." (Read more)

- Father God, once again we offer You a great chorus of PRAISE for the news of another strategy that is being developed to fight, and to obliterate, this virus. Thank You, Lord, amen!

Earthquake Rocks Red Sea

4.6 Earthquake Rocks Red Sea Where Jews Crossed Just Before Passover

"On that day, He will set His feet on the Mount of Olives, near Yerushalayim on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall split across from east to west, and one part of the Mount shall shift to the north and the other to the south, a huge gorge." (Zechariah 14:4)

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake rocked Eilat in southern Israel on Sunday morning. A slightly stronger 4.6 quake was reported by Petra News Agency across the border in Aqaba, Jordan at around the same time. The epicenter of the quake was reported to be about 40 miles south of the city in the Red Sea.

Though the exact location of the miraculous parting of the sea after the Exodus from Egypt is unknown, some Biblical scholars place it at the south-eastern edge of the Sinai Peninsula near what is known today as the Straits of Tiran, about 140 miles south of Eilat.

Simcha Jacobovici, an Emmy-winning investigative journalist, has some unique theories about the Exodus. Jacobovici claims the Exodus took place at the time of the volcanic eruption on the island of Santorini, which is considered one of the strongest volcanic eruptions of all time. Basing himself on geologists, he claims that "extreme seismic activity" generated many of the phenomena that accompanied the Exodus from Egypt including the splitting of the sea. He bases his theory on similar phenomena that occurred during a natural disaster at Lake Nyos in Cameroon in 1986, which was also caused by irregular seismic activity.

An Easter Blessing from Israel!

Israel Opens Jerusalem to World This Easter Through 360 Virtual Reality

Every spring, the streets of Jerusalem are bursting with Jewish and Christian pilgrims ready to celebrate Passover and Easter. And this year the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan begins in April, too.

This year, that won't be possible due to the devastating COVID-19 global pandemic. However, technology is allowing people from around the world to visit the heart of Jerusalem from their own homes.

Israel's iconic Tower of David Museum is using virtual reality to allow pilgrims to visit the Western Wall during Passover, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher during Easter and at the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.

The museum Innovation Lab has created an immersive 360-degree virtual reality experience that anyone with an internet connection can access. "Visitors" will be able to see Jerusalem as it is today and how it looked 2000-years-ago with several virtual reality tours.

"The Tower of David Museum's Innovation Lab has worked with companies such as Blimey and Lithodomos and is supported by the Jerusalem Development Authority. The tours and experiences encapsulate the essence of the innovative vision at the Tower of David Museum - to create a modern, dynamic, unique language for the rich story of Jerusalem. VR can enable emotions felt as close to possible as when one is physically present. We hope that for those looking for hope in these uneasy times . . . and for those that might turn to prayer and to Jerusalem - might find a little bit of hope when becoming immersed in the holy city of Jerusalem," says Eilat Lieber, Director of the Tower of David Museum.

Lieber hopes the virtual tours will give people hope as they continue to battle the coronavirus. "These are challenging times for us all," she continued. "Millions of prayers and dreams of people from all over the world have been caught between the towers, spires, and domes of the city for thousands of years. The city has given hope and inspiration for centuries."

People will be able to access the virtual reality tours free of charge from the first day of Passover, through Easter, to the first day of Ramadan - April 9-24.

- Father, may the blessings that come down from You to Jerusalem and 360 Virtual Reality be so powerful as to bless the world who access this incredible experience. God bless Jerusalem. God bless Israel. God bless 360 Virtual Reality. God bless the Jewish people. God bless the hungry hearts who desire to honor Jesus this Passover. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

Please Pray for President Trump

Please Pray for President Trump

A note to our readers:

Many of you, like me, are very burdened these past few weeks by the need to reach out to President Donald Trump, to let him know that we are praying for him and supporting him during this pandemic.

We also have been blessed to count a number of saints as our friends, who also work in or near the West Wing. We do praise God for that access!

Today, we are volunteering to forward any email messages you wish to send to the President, as the Spirit would prompt you to do so. Simply send your message to me, Sara Ballenger, and use the subject heading "A Letter to the President." We will take care of the rest for you.

When you write your messages, please be as brief as possible, and simply express the words our Lord would place upon your heart.

Send your messages to me (Sara Ballenger) at: chpp1994@gmail.com.

Below please find one sample message, already forwarded and received at the White House.

Thank you for reaching out to President Trump in this very real time of need. God Bless You!

SAMPLE LETTER TO PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

Dear Mr President:

I can see your disappointment at this turn of events. You worked so hard against every opposition to bring up the American economy, only to see an unseen (but real) enemy trash it. But know this: no matter what is going on around you, there is One Who loves this country and its President more that we can comprehend. He's not taking a nap. He sometimes allows things to test our mettle, and see where our true heart lies.

I know where yours is, not by what you say, but by what you do. You are a great President, a good man who loves his country and the God Who gives us life. God does not call perfect people, He calls the willing. Never give up the part of you that is willing to lead the American people at a difficult time. We elected you for such a time as this.

We will all prevail. God is still on the Throne, no matter what the circumstances may seem. May you and your family receive His strength, His peace, and His love in the midst of the storm.

"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings of eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

(Signed by a prayer partner in Idaho)

Honoring Mike Pence

pence.jpg

Steady, devout Mike Pence leads coronavirus fight past the haters

Since no one in the mainstream media would ever dare write this, allow me: I'd like to give a round of applause to Vice President Mike Pence.

I can't wait for the Trump-Deranged trolls to lose their minds as they read that opener.

Take a deep breath guys, because I'm just getting started!

We've always known that the vice president is a religious man. I mean, how could we forget? Since the day he was picked as VP in 2016, the media has never missed an opportunity to mock him for being an evangelical, born-again Christian.

You might be thinking, but wait - isn't making fun of people for their religious beliefs politically incorrect? For the most part, yes. But there is one major exception.

Religious intolerance is a big no-no in 2020, unless said religion has anything to do with Christianity.

. . . And right now, with the world running low on patience and hope, Pence's demeanor is not just reassuring - it is admirable.

Mike Pence has been mocked because of his conviction and underestimated because of his good nature. But make no mistake, his faith has not been shaken.

Tomorrow! Passover Holy Alignment

Watchmen: Passover Holy Alignment - Online 7 April

3:00 p.m. Jerusalem time

As the nations are shaking, in distress and great turmoil, many across the global Body of Christ are sensing that the Spirit of God is highlighting Passover this year in a significant way. They are hearing God summoning His people, Jews and Gentiles, to gather as one and commune at the Lord's Table for this year's Passover memorial. There is a holy alignment that God is birthing in His Global Church, His Ekklesia, that we may be one with one another and with Him.

On the very first passover, more than 3000 years ago, the Israelites were protected from the angel of death by the blood of the lamb that was applied to the door posts of their homes. They came under the protection of the Almighty God. Later that same night, they were called out and freed from Egypt that they might go and worship God, being led by His Presence to the promise land.

We believe we, His covenant people, are in such a time yet again. The Lord is summoning us to come under the shadow of the Almighty, and be covered by the blood of our true Passover Lamb, Yeshua. He is calling us out of our Egypt, our Babylon, the world systems and spirits that have defiled and entangled His Bride. It is time for the Global Ekklesia to rise and shine as One army in holy array, in the alignment of the Oneness of God, as One global family with His Presence!

This is the hour when Yeshua will be revealed and unveiled to the eyes of all, Jews and Gentiles, and to see His glory and for a great multitude to be brought into His family. It is time to enter the fullness of the unshakeable Kingdom of Jesus, the Messiah as it is manifest now, more than ever, in the midst of these global shakings. We are at the threshold of the greatest global revival the world has ever known.

For King Jesus and His unshakeable kingdom!

A Classic Hymn

Classic Hymns

ALL PEOPLE THAT ON EARTH DO DWELL

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs." (Psalm 100:1-2)

Lyrics

All people that on earth do dwell,
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.
Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell;
Come ye before Him and rejoice.

The Lord, ye know, is God indeed;
Without our aid He did us make;
We are His folk, He doth us feed,
And for His sheep He doth us take.

O enter then His gates with praise;
Approach with joy His courts unto;
Praise, laud, and bless His name always,
For it is seemly so to do.

For why? the Lord our God is good;
His mercy is for ever sure;
His truth at all times firmly stood,
And shall from age to age endure.

To Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
The God whom Heaven and earth adore,
From men and from the angel host
Be praise and glory evermore.

Signs and Wonders (Urgent!)

Signs and Wonders

A HOLY ALIGNMENT IN THE HEBREW CALENDAR FOR THIS HOLY WEEK

Dear Beloved Ones,

As I have been meditating on the approach of Holy Week, I have had a sense that it will have even a deeper meaning for us this year. Palm Sunday is tomorrow and Easter the following Sunday. In the middle of the week, Wednesday, the 8 days of Passover begin.

Rabbi Eric Carlson said recently, THIS PASSOVER is VERY SIGNIFICANT in that it lines up on the Hebrew Calendar with the SAME dates that it did the year Jesus was crucified almost 2,000 years ago! Because of this holy alignment he believes we will see a sovereign move of God like never before in the history of human kind because "we are streaming toward that great apostolic move when all the world will know" that Jesus is Lord.

We have all heard from the prophets how we are fast approaching the time of the outpouring of the Spirit of God that will usher in the Third Great Awakening. I am reminded of John Wesley's words, "God does nothing but in answer to prayer." So what prayer is it that will "tip the balance" to ignite this Great Awakening?

The Lord told the Hebrew children in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 --

13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence (plague) among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Now, I do not believe that God has SENT this plague to the earth. However, I do believe that he has given us the remedy in verse 14 above.

HUMILITY - PRAYER - SEEK GOD - TURN FROM SIN.

These all describe a posture of REPENTANCE. So this week, I am going to purpose to humble myself before the Lord in deep repentance for the sins that have defiled our lives and this land. . .

Study: More Than 20 Percent of Non-Christians Say the Coronavirus Pandemic Has Led Them to Start Reading the Bible

A new study has found that some 20% of non-Christians have become interested in reading the Bible ever since the coronavirus pandemic began to sweep across the globe.

The poll, commissioned by pro-Israel ministry group "The Joshua Fund" and conducted by McLaughlin & Associates, interviewed 1000 Americans-Christian and non-Christian-to find out a bit more about their spiritual reactions to the crisis.

Notably, some 44% of Americans polled said they see the global coronavirus pandemic and economic meltdown as a "wake-up call for us to turn back to faith in God." (Faithwire.com) Read more.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

> > > Please read I Corinthians 15: 11- 21

As we gaze on a confused and frustrated world, this Scripture comes to mind: "For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe" (1 Corinthians 1:21).

The idea of our world being saved by Christ on the cross was foolishness to the proud and boastful Corinthians of the Apostle Paul's time, who thought that the wisdom of the world was vested in them. And there are many people like them today. But how different it is for those of us who in simple faith know Christ and Him crucified. For us, as the apostle wrote, the cross of Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

We have been saved by His grace and mercy. We do not deserve it, we did not pay for it, we did not work for it. It has been given to us as a gift. It is by the work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross-and by His resurrection-that we can claim any right to the great Kingdom that is yet to come.

When others look at you, do they see the hope that you have in Christ, both for this life and for eternity?

Reading the Bible Together

WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!

"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)

> > > Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week!! ALL NIGHT LONG!

We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]

Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075. The access code is: 206425#.

Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."

Hallelujah!!

Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!

In closing, let us decree together that . . .

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

AMEN!!

Time to Repent!

Time to Repent!

". . . and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly'; and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name; then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you." (2 Chronicles 6:37-39)
