1. Excoriating ex-ally Gantz, Lapid vows to battle coalition, predicts its collapse- Times of Israel
Yair Lapid, the former ally of Benny Gantz, on Tuesday accused the Blue and White leader of perpetrating "the worst act of fraud in the history of this country" by joining forces with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
A day after Gantz and Netanyahu signed off on an "emergency" coalition deal under which Gantz would take over from Netanyahu as prime minister in 18 months, Lapid excoriated his ex-party leader for partnering with Netanyahu. He claimed that the move meant various ongoing corruption allegations against Netanyahu would now never be probed, that Israeli democracy and the rule of law would be further undermined, that Gantz had capitulated to ultra-Orthodox coercion, and was guilty of numerous other acts of betrayal and hypocrisy.
"There is no connection between this government and the word emergency," Lapid claimed. "Three weeks of negotiations and they talked about rotation [of the prime ministership], about jobs, about another official residence [for the acting prime minister] at the taxpayers' expense. Instead of fighting the coronavirus, they're fighting the Supreme Court. Instead of a compensation mechanism to save small businesses, they're saving Netanyahu from his legal troubles."

2. Gantz admits joining Netanyahu unpopular, but says it's needed for virus fight - Times of Israel
Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz on Tuesday defended his decision to sign a coalition agreement with Likud head Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he himself would have preferred a "different government," but breaking bread with his ex-rival was the responsible thing to do given the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
The comments were the first Gantz made publicly since signing the deal with Netanyahu on Monday night, and came moments after his ex-ally Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid party excoriated him for switching sides and accused him of perpetuating "the worst act of fraud in the history of this country."
Gantz said he understood the criticism of the deal, which will leave Netanyahu in power for 18 months despite criminal charges against him, but claimed that he had "put the common good before our personal good."
Under the terms of the deal, which will end over a year of political deadlock during which Israel has not had a permanent government, Gantz will become prime minister in 18 months. Until then, he will serve as defense minister and have veto power over most legislative and policy matters. While he had campaigned on a promise not to sit in a government under Netanyahu, Gantz said the about-face was necessitated by the coronavirus crisis.

3. Full lockdown announced for Independence Day, cemeteries shuttered on Memorial Day - World Israel News
On Tuesday evening, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) issued a statement confirming a "general lockdown" for Israel's Independence Day.
The statement said restrictions would be "similar to that which applied during Passover," when an intercity travel ban was put into effect along with a nationwide curfew.
In addition to restrictions on Independence Day itself, the PMO also announced that cemeteries will be locked on Memorial Day, which honors Israel's fallen soldiers and is observed on the day before Independence Day.
"After hearing the recommendation of memorial organizations, it was decided that - subject to Cabinet approval - given the danger of infection, arrival to cemeteries and memorial sites on Remembrance Day will not be permitted; the police will close the access routes," said the PMO statement.

4. Anti-Israel Activists 'Zoom-Bomb' Online Holocaust Memorial Event - Algemeiner
Anti-Israel activists disrupted an online Holocaust Remembrance Day event on Monday, the Jewish state's envoy in Berlin said.
According to Ambassador Jeremy Issacharoff, a Zoom talk by Holocaust survivor Zvi Herschel was briefly interrupted when several participants began "posting pictures of Hitler and shouting anti-Semitic slogans."
"After a short break the event was reconvened without the activists and conducted in an appropriate and respectful way," Issacharoff recalled. "To dishonour the memory of the Holocaust and the dignity of the survivor is beyond shame and disgrace and shows the blatant antisemitic nature of the activists."

5. Virtual Holocaust memorial plaques in thousands to be projected on Birkenau gates - JNS
(April 21, 2020 / JNS) Although the 2020 March of the Living will not take place on Holocaust Memorial Day due to the coronavirus pandemic, an estimated 10,000 people have participated in the organization's virtual memorial-plaque project.
The plaques will be projected on the entrance gate to the Birkenau death camp on Tuesday as Holocaust Remembrance Day begins across the Jewish world.
The virtual project launched last week, under the slogan "NeverMeansNever," gives individuals around the world the opportunity to simulate one of the most meaningful personal moments of the March by composing a personal message and placing it on a virtual plaque along the train tracks in Birkenau.
The project continues the tradition of remembering and paying tribute to the victims, honoring the survivors and committing to the global fight against anti-Semitism, hatred and intolerance.

1. China suddenly raises Wuhan-coronavirus death toll by 50% after repeatedly defending data-WND
In a further blow to China's credibility surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the communist nation on Friday suddenly jacked up the death toll in the city where the outbreak began.
The action came after weeks of external criticism that China had deliberately hidden the real impact of the virus, though the Chinese government had previously gone to great lengths to defend the coronavirus figures it was reporting.
The death toll in the city of Wuhan was increased by 1,290 to 3,869 -- a jump of about 50 percent -- while a slight adjustment of 325 additional cases raised the city's overall caseload to 50,333, according to Fox News.

2. Mutation strain from India could kill current research efforts for coronavirus vaccine: report -Fox News
A coronavirus strain isolated in India carried a mutation that could render current international vaccine efforts useless, researchers in Australia and Taiwan warned. Scientists have been targeting the same process that allowed the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) to infect people but the mutation found throws them off course. . .
Collaborators from Murdoch University in Australia along with research authors Wei-Lung of the National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan said the strain in India was the first report of a significant mutation of the series.

3. Missouri files suit against China for 'enormous' consequences of coronavirus 'deceit'-Fox News
: Missouri became the first state to file a lawsuit against China on Tuesday, accusing the country of being responsible for the severity of the coronavirus pandemic and seeking damages to make up for "the enormous loss of life, human suffering, and economic turmoil" resulting from the disease.
The suit in the Eastern District of Missouri follows at least seven federal class-action suits that have been filed by private groups, with one filed in Florida saying that China knew "COVID-19 was dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up in their own economic self-interest."
It also comes on the heels of 22 Republican lawmakers on Monday requesting that the Trump administration bring a case against China to the International Court of Justice (ICIJ) for the country's actions during the pandemic.

4. Barr: Some governors' action 'infringes on a fundamental right' during coronavirus-The Hill
Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday that some state governors' efforts to fight the coronavirus "infringes on a fundamental right" of American residents.
Barr said in an interview on "The Hugh Hewitt Show" that state governments in the U.S. need to "do a better job" of ensuring coronavirus restrictions are "properly targeted" and do not unnecessarily infringe on constitutional rights. He added that the country is currently facing "unprecedented burdens on civil liberties."
"When a governor acts, especially when a governor does something that intrudes upon or infringes on a fundamental right or a Constitutional right, they're bounded by that," the attorney general said. "And those situations are emerging around the country, to some extent."

5. Trump May Exempt Health, Food Workers From Immigration Ban -Bloomberg News
President Donald Trump plans to temporarily halt legal immigration into the U.S., and a draft version of an executive order would bar people from seeking a range of work visas in his latest effort to contain the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
The new policy would deny entry for people seeking most types of work visas for at least 90 days, according to a draft order obtained by Bloomberg News.
But it includes exceptions for people seeking jobs in "food production and directly helping to protect the supply chain," which could apply to farm workers. The ban would also not apply to health care or medical research professionals, according to the draft.

6. White House, Congress reach deal to replenish small business loan program-The Hill
The White House and Congress have reached a deal on a new funding package that will replenish a lending program meant to aid small businesses impacted by the novel coronavirus outbreak, two administration officials confirmed on Tuesday.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House chief of staff Mark Meadows struck an agreement on the core components of the deal with Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) early Tuesday morning.
The deal totals more than $480 billion and appropriates $320 billion for the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), $60 billion of which is set aside for small lenders and community financial institutions. It also includes $60 billion for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program; $25 billion for testing; and $75 billion for hospitals, according to details later released.

7. Biden says he would pick Michelle Obama as running mate 'in a heartbeat'-The Hill
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said in a new interview that he would have no hesitation picking former first lady Michelle Obama to be his running mate, but added that he doubts she is interested in the position.
"I'd take her in a heartbeat," Biden told Pittsburgh's KDKA on Monday when asked if he'd choose Obama if she said she would be willing to be on the ticket with him. "She's brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends," Biden added.
Biden, however, said that he doesn't think she is interested in the position.

8. Supreme Court says Montana landowners in Superfund fight must consult with EPA -Washington Post
The Supreme Court on Monday made it harder for some Montana landowners to pursue additional cleanup at a Superfund contamination site beyond what the Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to do.
The court ruled 7 to 2 that the EPA takes the lead in coordinating environmental cleanup plans, and that the Montana landowners were not free under state law to take further actions on their own.
Congress wanted to "ensure the careful development of a single EPA-led cleanup effort rather than tens of thousands of competing individual ones," Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote for the majority.

9. How Adam Schiff secretly thwarted efforts to bring transparency in Russia probe -Just The News
Republican and Democratic members voted to make public the transcripts of 53 witnesses in the Russia collusion investigation.
But what was hailed as an act of transparency has not been fulfilled 19 months later, even though U.S intelligence has declassified and cleared the transcripts for release.
Shortly after Schiff took over from Republican Rep. Devin Nunes as chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) in 2019, he sent a letter to the office of then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
The letter obtained by Just the News specifically ordered that the witness transcripts - some of which contained exculpatory evidence for President Trump's team - not be shared with Trump or White House lawyers even if the declassification process required such sharing.

10. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un recently had surgery, could be incapacitated, US officials say -CNBC
U.S. intelligence indicates that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un recently had cardiovascular surgery, NBC News reported Tuesday, citing American officials. The intelligence also suggests that Kim could be incapacitated, NBC added, citing some of those officials.
The update came after the South Korean currency, the won, took a hit following an unconfirmed report that Kim was seriously ill. Kim has been out of public view for several days, according to officials cited by NBC.

11. Dow tumbles 592 points as oil crashes below zero for the first time ever - Markets Insider
US stocks fell on Monday as oil prices crashed into negative territory for the first time ever, notching record lows.
The losses in oil came amid plummeting demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is offsetting historic production cuts. West Texas Intermediate crude oil contracts expiring in May fell as much as 321%, to a record low of -$40.32 a barrel. The percentage move also marked the biggest single-day drop. (Read more)

Whatever it is, don't believe it
There is so much false information floating around the cybersphere. Advice: Whatever it is, don't believe it; then put on your falsehood detector and check up on it. On the true side, The Wall Street Journal reports that Russia, China, and Iran are running disinformation campaigns in social media claiming it was the US that spread the COVID-19 to China first; that the Gates Family Foundation created the virus to make money with the pharmaceutical companies; and that disinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic is originating from the White House. These alone, have caused a lot of conspiracy theories among the Christian community. Then there is CNN and the mainstream media and false narratives.
Breitbart's John Nolte exposed CNN for faking a segment of Chris Cuomo emerging Monday night from his basement after being quarantined from having coronavirus. During his time in "quarantine," Cuomo was positioned by CNN as a selfless person volunteering to exile in his basement to protect his wife and kids, meanwhile raging against everyone who didn't do as he did. Only problem is, it was all a lie. The New York Post found out that on Easter Sunday, Cuomo, while still contagious, got into a confrontation with a cyclist after leaving his house with his wife, kids, and a second woman, violating his quarantine, and New York's stay-at-home orders (instituted by Cuomo's own governor/brother Andrew) just so he could hang out at his property in East Hampton, a full half-hour away, where he's reportedly building a home.
Washington Post White House bureau chief Philip Rucker, on MSNBC Monday said that President Donald Trump is supporting protests against stay-at-home orders in the same way that he "showed solidarity" with neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, VA., in 2017. Rucker's "neo-Nazis" claim is, like Cuomo's incident, a widely debunked lie coming from the Post's reporter in charge of covering the White House. Trump never said that the neo-Nazis were "very fine people" as CNN, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, and the Hollywood elite keep repeating. Trump repeatedly condemned the neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups. But the media and leftists continue to repeat the lie.
Just that the news media would even report the outrageous, non-substantiated claims by Hollywood elites about Trump being a murderer, that COVID-19 was caused by climate change, and other ridiculous charges, is an indicator that the media should not be believed or trusted. Democratic leadership is also spreading deception with countless attacks on the president's handling of the pandemic, while offering absolutely no solutions to the problem, even holding up aid funding while businesses go bankrupt and people are getting sick and dying. Yet, they blame it on Trump. Even Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said Trump was right about everyone blaming him. As in Isaiah 59:14, "truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter." Christ said he is the way, the truth and the life. And that is something you can believe.

COVID-19 PANIC FOLLOWS "RULES FOR RADICALS" SCRIPT
Communist-minded community organizer Saul Alinsky, in his prologue to "Rules for Radicals," explained that the most effective activists were those who worked within the established "system," not against it, so as to stir the revolutionary pots of change through fear.
His words: "Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future," Archives.org noted.
This is Coronavirus Chaos, exemplified.
America is not just on edge.
America is in full-blown panic mode.
Church-goers are being fined for the crime of going to church. Church pastors are being arrested and threatened with arrest for the crime of delivering sermons.
The Constitution has been suspended. Don't believe it? "Red and Blue America Agree That Now Is the Time to Violate the Constitution," The Atlantic wrote, back in late March. "People of both parties seem rather okay with undermining core civil liberties in order to fight the pandemic."
Unelected wonks with global government designs have been put in charge of America's politics and policies - people like Bill Gates, who hails his philanthropy while pushing vaccines on the world that in the end, boost his own power and pockets. People like Anthony Fauci, who is joined at the hip with Gates in seeing the Gates Foundation's Decade of Vaccine goals, begun in 2010, come to fruition - in part, with technology that tracks who gets a coronavirus shot, who does not, and where both groups of people are located at all hours of the day and night.
Government surveillance, stage one to going amok. Fearful, frightening videos pop on the Internet showing police officers dragging people off public transportation, or chasing lone runners on the beach, or handcuffing fathers playing with children in the park - for violating recently fabricated rules on social distancing, on face masks, on stay-at-home dictates.
And where to complain? Where to file a court grievance? Where to turn for legal redress? In many cases, local court offices are closed - all due to coronavirus fears.
The numbers on coronavirus don't match the response. But to suggest so - to question, to challenge, to ask for clarification, to cast any doubt whatsoever on the Coronavirus Is A Killer line of thought, to look beyond the racy headlines and research for contextual and comparative information - to even whisper of a "what the heck" type of wonder, is to receive speedy, shrill, angry backlash. In times of deceit, truth-telling becomes revolutionary.
In times of fear, critical thinking becomes a threat to those living in fear - to those embracing the fear. America's businesses and free market economy are in shambles.
Instead of heading to work each day, good, hard-working entrepreneurial spirited Americans wait at home for the stimulus check - or maybe, head to the liquor stores that remain open, or the marijuana shops allowed to operate under guise of "essential business." They watch their dreams crash and burn with each televised real-time death and case count uptick in coronavirus - upticks that may or may not be accurate. The computer modeling for coronavirus is about as accurate as the computer modeling for climate change. The numbers mean what the inputters want them to mean.
Coronavirus, at its root, is being used as a tool for those with devilish designs to establish a new order, a new un-American, unconstitutional and unfree kingdom - and that is their end game, like it or not. Wake up and smell the Alinsky; it's a freedom-fighter's cue and key to keeping our country intact.

White House and Congressional Leaders Reach Agreement on Additional Relief Funding
White House officials confirmed Tuesday afternoon that a bipartisan agreement to provide hundreds of billions of dollars in fresh coronavirus relief aid has been reached. According to The Hill, Congress will move forward this week with a $480 billion legislative effort aimed at expanding and financially replenishing the $2.2 trillion CARES Act's most popular programs, including a highly stressed small business loan fund known as the Paycheck Protection Program.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York said Tuesday morning in an interview with CNN that negotiators "came to an agreement on just about every issue" during late-night talks.
The White House confirmed Tuesday afternoon that a deal had been reached, with President Donald Trump expressing public support for the bill on social media. "I urge the Senate and House to pass the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act with additional funding for PPP, Hospitals, and Testing," Trump wrote.
"After I sign this Bill, we will begin discussions on the next Legislative Initiative with fiscal relief . . . to State/Local Governments for lost revenues from COVID 19, much needed Infrastructure Investments for Bridges, Tunnels, Broadband, Tax Incentives for Restaurants, Entertainment, Sports, and Payroll Tax Cuts to increase Economic Growth."

THE AFTERGLOW OF A CME: Last night, John Gray of North Dell on Scotland's Isle of Lewis went outside to look for Lyrid meteors. "Look what popped up instead," he says. Gray caught the afterglow of a CME: "The display started just after midnight and lasted for about 30 minutes," he says. "It made for a nice change!"
Two days ago, a slow-moving CME (coronal mass ejection) hit Earth's magnetic field, sparking the first geomagnetic storm of 2020. The storm has subsided, but intermittent auroras continue as our planet moves through the CME's wake. A minor solar wind stream due on April 22nd will boost the odds of additional high latitude auroras through April 23rd.

Peru: 6-Year-Old Boy on His Knees In an Empty Street Praying For the End of the Pandemic
(Peru) - [GODTV.com] Photographer Claudia Alejandra Mora Abanto from La Libertad, Peru captured a powerful photo that is going viral. This photo has become a symbol of hope that is going around the world amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It is exactly what the whole world should see during this hard time.
On the evening of April 13, on Junin Street, in the town of Guadalupe, La Libertad, Peru, a young boy stepped out of his house to pray earnestly to God. He was on his knees in the middle of an empty street, praying for the end of this global pandemic.
Claudia Alejandra explained that their neighborhood decided to participate in a prayer chain every night during the community quarantine. People went out of their houses to light candles and pray while observing social distancing.
"Today in the neighborhood we join together to pray and ask God for a solution for the emergency situation we are experiencing, to share hope and faith," Claudia wrote in a Facebook post.

That is when the photographer captured the photo of the 6-year-old Alen Castaneda Zelada who had decided to go out to the street and pray to God. The young boy explained that he decided to do so because of his love for his grandparents whom he has not seen since the community quarantine started.
