1. Settler leaders produce map they claim shows Trump plan for Palestinian state - Times of Israel
Settler leaders have been meeting with right-wing lawmakers over the past week and presenting them with what they claim is a map of the Palestinian state envisioned by the Trump plan, which would encircle 15 Israeli communities in a manner they say is unacceptable.
The Yesha umbrella council of West Bank mayors passed a resolution earlier this month declaring that it would not accept the Trump plan's green-lighting of Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank if it meant agreeing to the other key part of the proposal - the establishment of a Palestinian state.
In the weeks since, Yesha officials, including chairman David Elhayani, director Yigal Dilmoni and various West Bank mayors, have been sitting down with lawmakers from the Likud, Jewish Home and Yamina parties in an effort to convince them to oppose the Trump plan, for which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has voiced his support.
2. World Court asks PA: Are Oslo Accords still in force? - World Israel News
The International Criminal Court in The Hague requested that the Palestinian Authority (PA) let it know if the Oslo Accords are still in force on Tuesday.
The clarification was requested by three judges tasked with determining whether the Court can proceed with a criminal investigation against Israel for war crimes. One of the criteria is that the PA constitutes an independent state.
The judges want to know if the 1993 Oslo Accords were included in the agreements that PA President Mahmoud Abbas said were cancelled with Israel.
Abbas said on May 19 that the Palestinian side is "absolved, as of today, of all the agreements and understandings with the American and Israeli governments and of all the obligations based on these understandings and agreements."
3. Netanyahu Participates in Coronavirus Conference With World Leaders - Algemeiner
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu participated in a video conference on Wednesday with world leaders dealing with the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
The meeting was the third of its kind, and was hosted by Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. Participants included Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ahern.
According to a press release from Netanyahu's office, the participants discussed how to reopen their countries now that the spread of the virus appeared to be slowing down, especially in regard to economic activity, airline flights and tourism.
They also expressed concern that their citizens were beginning to become complacent about the virus, failing to wear masks and undergo testing.
In addition, the leaders discussed the possibility of a second wave of the pandemic and how best to prevent it.
4. Iran Set to Move Forward with Anti-Israel Law - Jerusalem Online
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has issued an executive order to all government structures to implement the law passed last week on launching a comprehensive retaliation against any of Israeli's actions that Iran might consider hostile to itself or the Palestinian Authority, the IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.
Such measures may reportedly include producing movies that reveal the Israeli war crimes and atrocities committed during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. There is a total of 16 articles in the anti-Israeli bill, which was unanimously adopted by 43 votes in the Iranian parliament on 12 May. It was then approved by the country's Guardian Council and, until now, only lacked the president's green light before becoming a law.
The statement comes after Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that Israel will face more challenges in the future because of pressure from groups and movements established in the neighboring Arab countries that are opposed to the Jewish state.
5. Anti-Semitic incidents rise in Germany, most from far right - Israel Hayom
Anti-Semitic crimes in Germany last year reached their highest level since the country started keeping statistics, amid an overall strong increase in right-extremist criminality that is a cause for "great concern," Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said Wednesday.
Overall, politically-motivated crimes were up 14.2% in 2019 over the previous year, which is the second-highest level since authorities began tracking such crimes in 2001, Seehofer told reporters in Berlin. Crimes by the extreme left rose the most, increasing 23.7% to 9,849, but the majority of politically motivated crimes were from the extreme Right, with 22,342 cases and an increase of 9.4%.
At the same time, crimes linked to a foreign ideology dropped 23.7% to 1,897 and those motivated by a religious ideology fell 27.5% to 425.
"The largest threat, as in the past, is the threat from the Right," Seehofer said. "Extreme-right politically motivated cases make up more than half of all of such recorded crimes - it is an order of magnitude that causes us concern, great concern."

1. Trump on Russia Hoax: 'When the Papers Come Out' We Will Learn Obama 'Knew Everything' - Greg Jarret.com
President Trump sat down with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo on Sunday to discuss the shocking decision that was heard 'round the politics world on Friday. National Intelligence Director Richard Grenell announced his office will "strip the FBI of its duties briefing the presidential 2020 candidates."
Grenell's decision comes after an overwhelming amount of newly released documents show the questionable actions and political bias that took place in the 2016 election. Bartiromo mentions the "former FBI director Jim Comey infamously briefed President-elect Donald Trump on January 6th, 2017, just one day after he met with President Obama and other top officials in the oval office."
Bartiromo asks about then-President Obama. "Do you believe President Obama directed the U.S. intelligence agencies to spy on you?" Bartiromo pointedly asked President Trump.
"Yes, he probably directed them but if he didn't direct them, he knew everything" replied Trump. The President then makes a very concise statement: "and you'll see that, by the way . . . you're gonna see that when the papers come out." (Read more)

2. FBI opened Russia probe on third-hand 'suggestion' of collusion, declassified memo shows - Just The News
The FBI's probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia was opened on a third-hand "suggestion" of wrongdoing and the thinnest of suspicions that illegal foreign lobbying had occurred, according to a declassified memo released Friday that shows agents immediately flagged the strong limitations of their evidence.
it focused on a "suggestion" passed on by Australian ambassador Alexander Downer that Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos might be coordinating with Russia the release of damaging information about Hillary Clinton.
Downer had heard the information about the Russians during a bar conversation in May 2016 from Papadopoulos, who had heard it two months earlier from a European professor who had heard it from Russians allegedly.
The memo shows the case agent, Peter Strzok, expressed some doubts and reservations about the limitations of the evidence even as he opened the probe. (Read more)

3. In apparent 'error,' YouTube has been censoring comments critical of Chinese Communist Party - Just The News
YouTube has for the last six months been deleting comments critical of the Chinese Communist Party, a protocol the company claimed was an "error" that it intends to investigate.
YouTube confirmed to The Verge this week that it had been "deleting comments that contain certain Chinese-language phrases related to criticism of the country's ruling Communist Party," the website reported. That protocol "appears to be an error in our enforcement systems and we are investigating," a spokesman told the site. (Read more)

4. Twitter's Trump 'Fact Check' Does Not Disclose Company Partnered with Groups Pushing Mail-In Ballots - Brietbart
Twitter for the first time put a fact-check label on tweets from President Trump, using the controversial tactic on messages in which the president complained there is "no way" that "mail-in ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent."
It may be instructive that Twitter seized on the mail-in balloting tweets as the first issue from Trump's rapid fire social media feed to slap with a fact-check label. Twitter did not disclose in its so-called fact-check that it partners with two groups financed by leftist donors that engage in voter participation efforts, including drives pushing mail-in balloting.
Twitter did not disclose it is an active "Premier Partner" of Vote Early Day 2020, an election advocacy group seeking to educate voters that they can cast their ballots prior to Election Day, including via the vote-by-mail option.(Read more)

5. House Republican leadership announces lawsuit against Pelosi to block proxy voting - The Hill
House Republicans filed a lawsuit earlier Tuesday seeking to thwart the use of proxy voting. A rules change allowing the remote voting was approved along party lines earlier this month.
Republicans have for weeks fiercely criticized the effort, with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) dubbing it an "unconstitutional proxy voting scheme." "It could allow as few as 20 Representatives to control the votes of 220. This is NOT the representative democracy our Founders envisioned or what our Constitution allows," he tweeted Tuesday night.
Republicans have argued that the rules change is unconstitutional and bucks precedent while also placing too much power in the hands of a select number of members. (Read more)

6. Trump urges GOP to vote 'NO' on FISA bill, citing Russia probe concerns - Fox News
President Trump on Tuesday night warned that Republicans should vote against the reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), the controversial measure that sets up a separate legal avenue for the U.S. government to get permission to spy on individuals who might be agents of a foreign power in the United States.
Trump may get his wish. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., is now asking Democratic leadership to pull the FISA bill.
The act is currently expired, with a renewal of its provisions with some reform measures currently working its way through Congress. (Read more)

8. PRC National People's Congress Proposal on Hong Kong National Security Legislation - State.gov
Last week, the People's Republic of China (PRC) National People's Congress announced its intention to unilaterally and arbitrarily impose national security legislation on Hong Kong. Beijing's disastrous decision is only the latest in a series of actions that fundamentally undermine Hong Kong's autonomy and freedoms and China's own promises to the Hong Kong people under the Sino-British Joint Declaration, a UN-filed international treaty.
I certified to Congress today that Hong Kong does not continue to warrant treatment under United States laws in the same manner as U.S. laws were applied to Hong Kong before July 1997. No reasonable person can assert today that Hong Kong maintains a high degree of autonomy from China, given facts on the ground.

9. Italy: 96% of Coronavirus Fatalities Had Other Chronic Illnesses - Brietbart
The overwhelming majority of deaths with coronavirus in Italy have occurred in the presence of two or more serious chronic illnesses, according to a report from the country's national health authority (ISS).
Italian health authorities announced in a recent report that only 4.1 percent of fatalities testing positive for Wuhan coronavirus happened in the absence of serious comorbidities, while the average age of the deceased was over 80 years.
The average number of comorbidities among all Italian deaths with the coronavirus was 3.1, ISS revealed. Just 15 percent of fatalities occurred with the presence of just one other serious pathology, while 21.4 percent died with two other pathologies, and 59.6 percent with three or more pathologies. 10. Trump to end waivers in Obama-era nuclear deal with Iran: report - The Hill
The Trump administration is preparing to end the last remaining sanctions waivers enshrined in the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal, The Washington Post reported Wednesday, eliminating key provisions meant to encourage the transition of Tehran's nuclear ambitions to civilian use.
The U.S. will not renew waivers that allow European, Chinese and Russian companies to do work at Iranian nuclear facilities that helps repurpose the sites for peaceful means and improve infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations, the Post reported, citing U.S. officials and internal documents.
The waivers have been renewed every 60 days since President Trump in 2018 pulled out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Iran nuclear deal negotiated in 2015 under the direction of President Obama. (Read more)

Floyd, 46, died Monday night after being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. Chauvin, along with three other police officers involved in the incident, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J. Alexander Kueng, were fired from the force Tuesday.
Minneapolis woke up Thursday morning to fires still burning and smoke hanging in the air after a second night of violent protests turned deadly overnight. The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

We ask for Your Spirit of peace to rest upon both cities today; for no more fires breaking out in any other cities in America this morning; and for no more lives to be lost. We ask for a full investigation to be done by federal authorities in these matters, and for the "cutting off" of any funding of these violent actions by outside sources, in Your name, amen.

The least of these
While America was celebrating the Memorial Day weekend with cookouts, burgers and dogs (even in semi-lockdown mode), across the world in Ghana, West Africa, there were people who were wondering where the next meal was coming from. Families struck not only by poverty, forgotten by the church, but also the hardships caused by COVID 19 disruptions in the food supply, were somewhat stranded in time. But something historic is going on. Aided by readers of The Daily Jot, our partner ministry Lifetree Foundation, under the leadership of Pastor William Agbeti, is delivering food to the most needy of the needy in underserved remote areas. So far, over 1,300 have received foodstuffs lasting at least a week.
Agbeti writes: "The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a drastic change in our Ministry's modus operandi-At least for the foreseeable future. From a ministry that was cooking hot meals for malnourished children, we have now become an organization that is supplying fortified and nutritious food items to needy children and their families. Thus, instead of feeding beneficiaries with a meal for lunch, these same beneficiaries now go home with foodstuffs that can feed them for a whole week. Besides, rather than depending solely on volunteers to identify the needy and serve them, the needy can now also contact us directly and volunteers move in to ascertain needs and supply the same.
"Perhaps the most critical turn around in this whole development, in the wake of the CORONAVIRUS pandemic, is the Ministry's immediate response to pleas from hungry folks who could not be reached by Government with assistance. Without our intervention, volunteers testify that many would suffer the pangs of hunger, possibly leading to deaths. Another significant milestone COVID-19 has brought about our way is the development of our very first small food bank. Owing to price gouging, hoarding and profiteering by farmers, middlemen, transporters, wholesalers, retailers and speculators, we developed a storehouse where we source foodstuffs and keep/hold them for distribution/delivery. The price differentials between foodstuffs in our storehouse and the open market prices often constitute 10-25% off market prices.
"Items in our small food bank include rice, eggs, grated cassava, milk, sardines, ground pepper, onions, tin tomatoes, salt, honey, etc. We are beginning to work with small rural farmers to grow specific food items and sell directly to us. This helps the farmers generate steady incomes, whilst we will be having reasonably priced foodstuffs and regular supplies to serve the needy in rural Ghana. As is written in Mat 25:40: "Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me." This is exactly what we feel like saying to all stakeholders in our service - donors, volunteers, officials, suppliers, delivery folks, well-wishers, etc. Together, we are serving the Lord. It's all about Jesus - sharing, caring and serving with Christ-like love!" This is made possible by readers like you!!!!

NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS (NCLs) ARE INTENSIFYING
On May 17th, NASA's AIM spacecraft detected the first noctilucent clouds (NLCs) of summer over the north pole. Those first electric-blue smudges were barely visible. Since then, however, the clouds have rapidly intensified. Recent images from orbit show a growing bank of NLCs pinwheeling just inside the Arctic Circle: (Go here).
LCs are Earth's highest clouds. Seeded by meteoroids, they float at the edge of space more than 80 km above the ground. The clouds form when summertime wisps of water vapor rise up to the mesosphere, allowing water to crystallize around specks of meteor smoke. Last summer, they spread as far south as Los Angeles and Las Vegas, setting records for low-latitude sightings.
It's early in the 2020 season, so the clouds are still concentrated around the north pole. Nevertheless, people in northern Europe are starting to see them. Johny Krahbichler sends this picture taken last night (May 26th) from Ängelholm, Sweden: (Go here)
"These night glowing clouds are pretty common during the summer here in Sweden," says Krahbichler. "But it's rare that they glow this brightly over such a large area. As soon as I saw them I ran to get my camera. The glow from the clouds ended up matching the glow of my LED strip inside!"
Noctilucent clouds have been likened to a great "geophysical light bulb" because they turn on abruptly, reaching almost full intensity over a period of ~10 days. By early June, therefore, we can expect the clouds to spread farther south with a significant increase in brightness. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke with California megachurch pastor Greg Laurie about his Christian faith during an online service on Sunday.
America's top diplomat told the Harvest Christian Fellowship pastor that prayer is a big part of his diplomatic responsibilities.
"I continue always to pray for all of those who are present in the negotiation. I pray for the president who gives me the guidance, who says, 'These are the things I want you to go execute on behalf of the United States of America.' I know that that wisdom that comes from that prayer, the peace that comes with it, gives me the opportunity to help deliver good outcomes for the American people and increase the chance that I actually will succeed in those endeavors." Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America.
