An Heroic Act in Corpus Christi
Officials ID Texas Naval Base Shooter
And . . . honoring a hero.
Background:
The suspect killed during what the FBI is calling a "terrorism-related" attack at a Texas naval air base voiced support for hardline clerics, according to a group that monitors online activity of jihadists.
The attack Thursday at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi wounded a sailor and left the gunman dead. The gunman was identified as Adam Alsahli of Corpus Christi, according to three officials familiar with the investigation who were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The gunman tried to speed through a security gate at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, opening fire and wounding the sailor, a member of base security, U.S. officials told the AP. But she was able to roll over and hit a switch that raised a barrier, preventing the man from getting onto the base, the officials said.

A Young Sailor on Duty at the Time
According to the FBI, "the incredible acts of heroism by the NASCC Military Policewoman guarding the entrance to the base, saved many lives Thursday.
The active duty U.S. Navy military police officer stationed at the Ocean Drive gate has probably checked thousands of IDs and allowed access to thousands of authorized people at NAS Corpus Christi.
On the morning of May 21, 2020 a terrorist tried to get past her. That terrorist, Adam Salem Alsahli picked the wrong gate guard to try to get past. He shot her point blank in the chest and then attempted to drive onto the base.
He didn't get far.
She took the bullet dead center in her chest, but was saved by her Kevlar vest, which had a steel, ceramic-coated plate over her sternum designed to protect the heart and vital organs.
The impact knocked her off of her feet however despite her obvious pain she quickly got right back up and hit the emergency button that activated a very strong pop up barricade, which stopped and disabled the terrorist's vehicle.
Then, as he was going for a rifle he brought with him, she shot him back.
He never made it past the gate as her shots killed him.
This sailor is the reason we celebrate Veterans and Memorial day, not barbeques and sales. Thank our military personnel, they've earned it.

President Trump signs social media executive order that calls for
removal of liability protections over 'censoring'
Flanked by Attorney General Bill Barr, President Trump signed an executive order in the Oval Office on Thursday that interprets Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (CDA) as not providing statutory liability protections for tech companies that engage in censorship and political conduct. placeholder
The president's order, which also cuts federal funding for social media platforms that censor users' political views, came just two days after Twitter took the unprecedented step of slapping a "misleading" warning label on two of Trump's tweets concerning the fraud risks of nationwide mail-in balloting. The move immediately backfired: Experts disputed that Trump's tweet was actually misleading, in part because mail-in balloting has been linked to ongoing fraud; Twitter's fact-check itself contained false statements; and Twitter failed to apply the standard of review to other users.
. . . "My executive order calls for new regulations under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act to make it so that social media companies that engage in censoring any political conduct will not be able to keep their liability shield," the president said.
He added: "My executive order further instructs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to prohibit social media companies from engaging in any deceptive acts or practices affecting commerce. This commerce resides in Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act. . . . Additionally, I'm directing the attorney general to work cooperatively with the states . . . to enforce their own laws against such deceptive business practices. The states have broad and powerful authority to regulate in this arena." (Fox News)

Protests Spread Across the Nation
George Floyd case: Protests erupt across the country after Minnesota man's death
Multiple cities across the U.S. exploded into outcry on Wednesday night, just days after Minneapolis resident George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died while in police custody.
In contrast to the peaceful protests that spawned the Minneapolis streets on Tuesday, the demonstrations Wednesday descended into chaos soon after the sun fell.
Images show hundreds of demonstrators gathering around the Third Precinct headquarters, and later an apartment complex and several businesses on fire.
Police documented incidences of looting, and local reports highlighted a number of shops such as Target and a liquor store were targeted. The frenzied night also brought with it another loss of life, as a man was found unresponsive on a sidewalk near Bloomington and Lake Street, believed to have succumbed to a gunshot wound.
The police said the deadly shooting was connected to the looting of a pawn shop, whereby the business owner allegedly opened fire.
The death of Floyd, whose arrest was captured on video by several bystanders - showing the man panting that he could not breathe as a police officer jarred a knee into his neck for eight minutes until he was rendered motionlessness - also spawned demonstrations through the streets of Los Angeles and Memphis.
In Los Angeles, around 1,000 people from the Black Lives Matter chapter converged downtown in a call for justice on Wednesday night - with dozens blocking the 101 Freeway, one of the city's main traffic arteries.

We bind destruction, and apply the Cross of Christ against the plans of the enemy.

Israeli Scientists Claim Two Drugs, Already Used to Treat Gaucher's Disease, Can Treat COVID-19
Gaucher's disease is a genetic disorder that causes a fatty tissue to build up in certain organs, especially the liver and spleen. The fatty substances cause the organs to become enlarged and affect their function.
Researchers at the IIBR say two drugs used to treat Gaucher's disease appear to inhibit viruses. The first drug is Cerdelga, which has already been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. The second is Venglustat, which is in the process of being approved.
The scientists found that together, the drugs led to "a significant reduction in the replication capacity of the corona virus and to the destruction of the infected cell," the Defense Ministry Spokesperson said in a statement.
"The two drugs under development are currently being tested for their effectiveness in treating animals infected with the Corona virus," the spokesperson continued.
The treatment was also found to be effective against three other viruses, the West Nile virus, Influenza A virus, and the Neuroinvasive Sindbis virus.
"This indicates their potential in treating various viral diseases effectively-including future outbreaks of new viruses-once they are clinically approved," the ministry wrote.
The researchers believe the drugs could be a temporary treatment for the coronavirus while scientists continue to work on a vaccine and treatment.
"Treatment of a new disease such as COVID-19 using an existing, approved drug may serve as an effective short-term solution considering that one of the major challenges in addressing such a pandemic is the length of time it takes for both the research and approval phases of new drugs," the ministry said.

70 years since the Hebrides Revival
The year 2020 marks 70 years since the ending of the Hebrides Revival.
In the Bible, the number 70 has a key prophetic meaning:
Seventy has a sacred meaning in the Bible that is made up of the factors of two perfect numbers, seven (representing perfection) and ten (representing completeness and God's law). As such, it symbolizes perfect spiritual order carried out with all power. It can also represent a period of judgment.
Ancient Israel spent a total number of 70 years in captivity in Babylon (Jeremiah 29:10).

I received some NightWatch insights from friends in Alabama this morning. One thing she shared was that they had prayed into "Launch America" with the space launch that is scheduled for today. She said, "This is what our Father is doing." Wow! Something exploded in me! Yes! For such a time as this our Father planned a prophetic act to demonstrate what He is doing in our nation right now! I shared this with Dave, and he pointed out that this space launch must take place at a certain time when certain conditions are right. Wow again! I thought of Dutch's 2017 Jubilee Conference message when he taught on the Gate Beautiful, horaios time, the RIGHT TIME.
In essence, this is what I'm hearing . . . Through the timing of this space launch, God is assuring us that He already has planned a RIGHT TIME launch for America. As we have prayed up to this point, our prayers have partnered with Heaven to bring earth into alignment of Heaven for a RIGHT TIME launching. Now, with much of this alignment already released in the Spirit, it is the RIGHT TIME for us to fire up the engines, get in position and proclaim LAUNCH AMERICA!
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Open the portals of Heaven and send Your glory upon our land!
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Open the economy in our nation. Open businesses, services, jobs.
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Open our Houses of Worship and corporate worship gatherings.
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Break the back of hopelessness, fear, lying and mocking spirits. Release life, hope, courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Open our schools with a godly realignment of our education system. Open opportunities for learning and achievement for our children and youth of our nation.
- Lord, LAUNCH AMERICA! Lord, You said that America is a light to the world, a city on a hill which cannot be hidden.
We declare that Holy Spirit is sending fresh fire to America to make our light brighter and unquenchable. We declare that every hidden scheme to bring America down is crushed. Lord, raise us to a new height on Your Holy Hill. Launch America with fresh passion to bless You, bless Israel and bless the nations.

REMNANT - THIS IS YOUR HOUR

Deaths, job losses, closures. We are all surrounded by tragedy at this moment - and as we all know, the damage will go on and on - well after the deaths decline. Livelihoods ruined, homes and businesses gone, millions devastated and left bankrupt. Most do not realize exactly how much has been lost.
And so we will weep with those who weep. We cannot downplay the tragedy of what is happening here. But I have a very different word for the Remnant of God. You know who you are.
Despite all this tragedy, to those who have been "waiting" in the caves and the rocks and the depths of the wilderness - I say, "Lift up your eyes." The very season you have been waiting for is here. Your true ministry is about to begin.
We are living in the "sudden stop." We are living in the great 'Reset'. In 100 years when they speak of this era, they will speak of this as the moment when everything changed. Like World War II, like the Great Depression - this is the hour after which nothing will ever be the same. And Remnant - this is the season you were built for.
I am speaking to those who have been set apart. You have allowed yourself to be broken. You have trained yourself for battle. You know how to preach Repentance and Conviction of sin. You have been trained in the healing of the sick and the moving of the Holy Spirit. You know how to baptize, to pray powerfully - and to train others. You are a fully-equipped preacher of the true gospel.
You have used your time well. You have paid down your debt. Your hands are free of shackles - and you're ready to go. You have a boldness and an audacity about you. While others shrink back, you will jump forward. You were built for such a time as this.
Some of you 65+ will come out of retirement. Your latter years will be much more fruitful than the former ones. The old era did not welcome you. The new era has no choice."Fortune favors the brave," goes the saying. And this has never been more true than it is now.
While others fear - you are bold. While others play it safe - you see this hour for what it is - and you seize the moment. Those who shrink back will miss out. Those who are alert - and move forward with boldness - will have the field almost to themselves.
I say to the remnant, "Lift up your eyes." Everything has changed. Do not confine your gaze to your own nation. Many of you will be headed overseas. "But," you say, "The planes are grounded. Most nations are closed." Yes - for now that is true. But before long there will be travel again. And the people will be hungry for a word from the Lord. Especially the poor.
Where once you were ignored - now you will be welcomed. Where once you were constrained - now you will be loosed. Where once you were disregarded - now you will be respected. "Who dares wins." Go forth like Joshua and take the land.
Do not be distracted. Politics is a distraction. Current events are a distraction. Social media is a distraction. Keep your eye on the prize - the big picture. Today's harvest is whiter than it's ever been. Be alert. Watch for the doors to open and for the Lord's timing. Act with boldness. Seize the day.
Most of the world will be in turmoil. Most of the people will be shrinking back. Very few will be travelling. Many churches and businesses will be in trouble. But you will be looking around with alert eyes - for where the Lord may send you.
Do not fear. Go forth with boldness. The former things are passed away. Remnant - this is the hour you were built for. Don't let it pass you by.
