President Trump Visits Mt. Rushmore
Trump, in fiery Mount Rushmore address, decries rise of 'far-left fascism,' calls on Americans to rise up
Speaking after the legendary U.S. Navy Blue Angels roared overhead, President Trump ushered in the July 4th weekend Friday night at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota with a full-throated condemnation of "far-left fascism" and a defense of "Judeo-Christian principles."
"This monument will never be desecrated," Trump declared to cheers and applause. "These heroes will never be defaced. Their legacy will never, ever be destroyed. Their achievements will never be forgotten. And Mount Rushmore will stand forever as an eternal tribute to our forefathers and to our freedom."
The president asserted that recent attacks on the nation's monuments, alongside "cancel culture" and the rise of the Marxist ideology of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, were symptoms of a "left-wing cultural revolution" that was threatening to "overthrow the American Revolution." BLM explicitly advocates the destruction of the "nuclear family structure," which Trump said was in fact the "bedrock of American life."
"We only kneel to Almighty God," Trump remarked, in a clear shot at athletes who kneel in protest during the national anthem. "We will not be intimidated by bad, evil people. It will not happen."
"We are the country of Andrew Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, and Frederick Douglass," Trump said. "We are the land of Wild Bill Hickock and Buffalo Bill Cody. We are the nation that gave rise to the Wright Brothers, the Tuskegee Airmen - Harriet Tubman, Clara Barton, Jesse Owens, George Patton - General George Patton - the great Louie Armstrong, Alan Shepard, Elvis Presley, and Mohammad Ali. And only America could have produced them all. No other place."
Americans are the ones, Trump added, "that put up the Hoover Dam, laid down the highways, and sculpted the skyline of Manhattan. We are the people who dreamed a spectacular dream - it was called: Las Vegas, in the Nevada desert; who built up Miami from the Florida marsh; and who carved our heroes into the face of Mount Rushmore. Americans harnessed electricity, split the atom, and gave the world the telephone and the Internet. We settled the Wild West, won two World Wars, landed American astronauts on the Moon - and one day very soon, we will plant our flag on Mars."
. . . "We will state the truth in full, without apology: We declare that the United States of America is the most just and exceptional nation ever to exist on Earth," Trump said. "We are proud of the fact that our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, and we understand that these values have dramatically advanced the cause of peace and justice throughout the world."
Trump, who separately praised police officers and vowed to defend the Second Amendment, then announced plans to create "a new monument to the giants of our past." He said he would sign an executive order to establish the "National Garden of American Heroes" -- a "vast outdoor park" to feature the statues of the "greatest Americans to ever live." After Trump spoke, the White House released text of an executive order establishing the garden, which expressly notes that it will include only lifelike representations and eschew "modernist or abstract interpretations." 3. Netanyahu: Decision on Sovereignty to be Made Next Week - Bridges for Peace
Now that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's target date to begin applying sovereignty over portions of Judea and Samaria has come and gone, the future looks unclear as top Israeli and US brass are still meeting to discuss how to move forward. Netanyahu doesn't appear to be losing steam, however, as one of his Likud party members announced yesterday that sovereignty "will certainly happen in July."
Israel will only proceed after US President Donald Trump issues a decision, Regional Cooperation Minister Ofir Akunis said in a radio interview Wednesday.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to hold talks with the Americans, and will simultaneously hold a meeting with the head of the National Security Council and the top security officials as part of a whole host of discussions on the matter," a statement from Netanyahu's office said.
Trump was expected to issue a declaration last week but has yet to do so. Top US officials held multiple meetings last week at the White House to discuss the issue with the US ambassador to Israel. No official decisions came out of the meetings, and Trump sent his top envoy for the region, Avi Berkowitz, to Israel for more meetings this week, which have yet to yield a firm outcome.
The sticking point is reportedly how to proceed while drawing minimal backlash, especially after the criticism Israel's plans have already received from the United Nations, the European Union and multiple European and Arab states. (Read more)
- Pray again that PM Netanyahu and the other leaders involved in making this decision will move according to the will of the God of Israel rather than capitulate to international pressure. Ask the Lord for His clear direction and remind Him of His promises to restore to Israel the land promised to their forefathers. Pray also that any such moves on Israel's part will not destroy the burgeoning relationships between Israel and Arab states in the region. Scripture
- I will lift up my eyes to the hills-from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.(Psalm 121:1-4)
4. US Vows "Military Option Is Always on the Table" to Thwart Iranian Nuclear Ambitions - Bridges for Peace
The Islamic Republic will under no circumstances be allowed to go nuclear. In fact, the US is prepared to take military action to put a stop the mullahs' nuclear ambitions. This was US Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook's pledge yesterday during a visit to Jerusalem.
"We've made very clear, the president has, that Iran will never acquire a nuclear weapon," Hook said in an interview with Israel's Channel 13.
"The Israeli people and the American people and the international community should know that President Trump will never allow them to have a nuclear weapon," Hook said, adding that "the military option is always on the table." (Read more)
- Ask the Lord to give Israel and the United States a clear and precise strategy for ending Iran's nuclear ambitions once and for all, and cry out to Him for an extension of the UN weapons embargo on Tehran. Pray that the nations of the world will recognize the potentially disastrous scenario for the Middle East and the world that awaits should the embargo be ended.
- "The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways."(Deuteronomy 28:7)
5. Three rockets fired at Israel from Gaza as border region heats up - Times of Israel
Three rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip into Israel Sunday evening, as tensions along the border region appeared to flare amid Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank.
Two rockets apparently struck an open field at around 7 p.m., the Israel Defense Forces said, without causing injuries or damage.
About an hour later, rockets sirens again rang out in the southern Israeli Sha'ar Hanegev as another rocket was launched out of the Strip. The rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system, according to the army.
6. IDF strikes Hamas targets in response to Gaza rocket fire - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces bombed a number of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip on Sunday night after terrorists in the enclave fired three rockets into southern Israel earlier in the evening, the military said .
According to a number of Palestinian outlets in the Strip, in several rounds of airstrikes, the Israeli military targeted a Hamas observation post, as well as "agricultural lands," east of Gaza City.
In the past, such Israeli strikes on "agricultural lands" have targeted underground rocket launchers that were buried under fields.
7. Netanyahu: Sovereignty talks continue with US, security officials - Israel Hayom
The Israeli government will continue coordinating its actions with the US and hold further discussions on the proper steps forward as it moves toward implementing its plan to extend sovereignty to Judea and Samaria communities, the Prime Minister's Office said on Wednesday.
July 1 has been declared the target to begin the process, and on Wednesday, despite no official decision on the matter, the prime minister's team took pains to stress that it was working hard to meet that objective.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to hold talks with the Americans, and will simultaneously hold a meeting with the head of the National Security Council and the top security officials as part of a whole host of discussions on the matter," the Prime Minister's Office said.
8. Israel Says 'Not Necessarily' Behind All Iran Nuclear Site Incidents- Algemeiner
Israel's defense minister said on Sunday it is not "necessarily" behind every mysterious incident in Iran, after a fire at the Natanz nuclear site prompted some Iranian officials to say it was the result of cyber sabotage.
Israel, widely believed to be the region's only nuclear power, has pledged never to allow Iran to obtain atomic weapons, pointing out that Tehran advocates its destruction. Iran denies ever seeking nuclear arms and says its atomic program is peaceful.
The underground Natanz site, where a one-story building was partly burned on Thursday, is the centerpiece of Iran's uranium enrichment program and monitored by inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN nuclear watchdog.
Asked whether Israel had anything to do with "mysterious explosions" at Iranian nuclear sites, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said: "Not every incident that transpires in Iran necessarily has something to do with us."
9. Netanyahu: 'Very strong' COVID-19 resurgence is an 'emergency situation' - JNS
(July 5, 2020 / JNS) Israel is in the midst of a renewed, "very strong" resurgence of COVID-19 that will see "an increase and a doubling of the number of severe cases," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the start of Sunday's weekly Cabinet meeting.
"The World Health Organization has marked the Middle East as a focus of the global spread. This is not passing over Israel. It is here," said Netanyahu, who added that the new outbreak posed a challenge for the state of Israel and its health system.
Four Israelis died of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the country's death toll since the start of the pandemic to 330, according to the Israeli Health Ministry.

1. White House official: Beijing allowed Chinese nationalists 'to seed and spread' coronavirus in US - Washington Examiner
White House economic adviser Peter Navarro claimed that the Chinese government knowingly allowed people who had contracted the coronavirus to travel overseas before the virus was declared a pandemic. Navarro, who is on the coronavirus response team for the White House, sparred with Ali Velshi in a Saturday afternoon interview on MSNBC about the Chinese Communist Party's role in spreading the virus as COVID-19 cases again spike in places around the United States.
"I want everybody right here today, as the day before America's Independence Day, to understand where this virus started - with the Chinese Communist Party that is making us stay locked in our homes and lose our jobs. They spawned the virus. They hid the virus. They sent hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationalists over here to seed and spread the virus," Navarro said.
Velshi challenged Navarro's assertion, asking him to explain his claim about the hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationals. "Here's the point: While they were preventing any domestic travel from Wuhan to Beijing or Shanghai, locking down their transportation network, they freely sent hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationals on aircraft to go around the world," the White House adviser explained before the host interjected again. - Almighty God, we pray that this TRUTHFUL news will liberate all Americans to take heart and not walk in fear anymore. Release all Americans from the curse that China has put on us. It is a curse that the Chinese will reap themselves. Heal our people. Heal our land by the healing Blood of Jesus. We intercept the deception of satan and send it down under the feet of Jesus. We pray in Jesus' Name.
- "Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever." (Revelation 7:12)
2. Trump administration planning pandemic office at the State Department - The Hill
The Trump administration is planning to establish a division dedicated to pandemic response at the State Department after facing criticism earlier this year for shuttering the National Security Council's (NSC) pandemic unit in 2018, according to CNN.
NSC officials hosted an interagency meeting Thursday to discuss plans for the new office, according to the news network. NSC officials did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation from The Hill.
The meeting reportedly centered on hammering out details for the new office and working on a proposal that would require President Trump's signature for the office's approval. (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, guide President Trump in the planning of the pandemic office. As Your decision is given to President Trump, so give him the wisdom to follow You in this decision. We pray in Jesus' Name.
- "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)
3. Berkowitz returns to US to discuss annexation, Israel visit with Kushner - Jerusalem Post
pecial representative for international negotiations Avi Berkowitz returned to Washington on Wednesday and met with senior advisor Jared Kushner to brief him on his meetings in Israel. Berkowitz met three times with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabi Ashkenazi.
Kushner is expected to hold a series of discussions with his team before taking the subject to President Donald Trump.
A person familiar with the work of the peace team said that it could linger into next week. One reason is that no discussions are scheduled for the weekend when the US will celebrate its Independence Day. Another reason is that a third member of the team, Brian Hook, is currently in Austria to discuss the extension of the Arms Embargo on Iran. Prior to that, Hook visited the Gulf and Jerusalem, and Kushner will wait for his input.
The person also dismissed recent media reports about a possible rift between Kushner and the president and said that the president's son-in-law is his closest and most trusted advisor. (Read more)
- Father, we thank You that this next step has not yet been taken, and we see this development as an answer to our prayers. We continue to "press in," in repentance, before Your Throne of Grace, asking for Your help in time of need. We ask that You would stay the hand of all decision makers regarding this proposed annexation, until they know Your will. The land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob cannot be divided. In Your name, Abba, amen.
- "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)
4. Supreme Court vacates ruling against Ind. abortion laws on ultrasound images, parental notification for underage girls - Christian Post
The U.S. Supreme Court has vacated rulings against two Indiana abortion laws, sending the cases back to the appeals court level for review.
In orders issued Thursday, the high court tossed out rulings against Indiana laws requiring abortion clinic staff to show mothers an ultrasound image of their baby before an abortion is scheduled to be performed, and another requiring parental notification before an abortion is performed on an underage girl.
Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, which was represented in part by the ACLU, expressed disappointment in response to the Supreme Court's order. "These laws are only meant to do one thing, restrict abortion access. Indiana ranks second in the nation for restrictions, and Indiana politicians insist on putting every barrier possible between a pregnant person and their legal health care," Planned Parenthood Indiana and Kentucky CEO Chris Charbonneau argued. "These laws and others like them have nothing to do with the health and well-being of the patient, and everything to do with the politicization of abortion care."
Indiana Right to Life President and CEO Mike Fichter said in a statement released Thursday that he was "cautiously optimistic that the ultrasound and parental notification appeals will find success in the Seventh Circuit." "We are very thankful for the relentless effort Attorney General Curtis Hill has given to defending Indiana's pro-life laws in the courts," he added.
In the same order list from Thursday, the Supreme Court declined to hear appeals in two cases regarding ordinances over buffer zones around abortion clinic entrances. Both cases, one in Chicago, Illinois, and the other in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, involved pro-life activists suing to have the restrictions lifted, only to have courts rule against their efforts. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we trust that the 7th Circuit Court will unanimously rule in favor of showing the mothers an ultrasound image of their baby before abortion; and another requiring parental notification of an abortion of an underage girl. God, we ask that You will send angels to stand guard over the right decision regarding both these matters. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His woks." (Psalm 145:17)
5. U.S. Supreme Court blocks Alabama order easing voting restrictions - Reuters
The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday blocked a lower-court ruling that would have relaxed voting restrictions in Alabama state during the coronavirus pandemic. Alabama requires voters to submit a photo identification when they apply for an absentee ballot, and it requires that ballot to be returned along with the signature of two witnesses or a notary.
A U.S. district court judge in Birmingham, Alabama's largest city, issued a ruling in June that would have effectively freed voters from the photo I.D. requirement, in some counties, if they are 65 or older or have a disability. Under that ruling, voters with medical conditions that put them at risk of COVID-19 could sidestep the requirement to have their ballots signed by a witness. The judge also would have blocked Alabama from restricting counties that wished to establish curbside voting.
Alabama's Republican Secretary of State, John Merrill, welcomed the Supreme Court's ruling as consistent with state law and said in an interview that "many liberals have tried to use this pandemic to advance causes" through courts after failing to do so through legislation.
Benard Simelton, who is president of the state chapter of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said the Supreme Court ruling would disenfranchise voters. (Read more)

6. Conservative Mom Who Confronted Beto O'Rourke Beats Longtime Incumbent in House Primary - Western Journal
Lauren Boebert, whose forthright defense of the Second Amendment at a rally for former Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke brought her national attention, on Tuesday won a Republican congressional primary in Colorado. President Donald Trump retweeted a post from Boebert in which she said, "I am a mother to 4 boys. My husband and I are raising them to be strong men! I refuse to send my children into a socialist nation. Their freedom IS my motivator! Threaten the liberty of Americans, and I'll be there to hold you accountable!"
"Congratulations on a really great win!" Trump said.
Boebert - who operates Shooters Grill, a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, where all of the waitresses openly carry handguns - will face Democrat Diane Mitsch Bush in the November election. "I'm excited and eager to take this fight on to the Democrats and represent the people of the 3rd Congressional District, just like I've been promising them I would," Boebert said after the polls closed, according to The Denver Post.
Her website is an unapologetic, in-your-face declaration of opposition to all that leftist Democrats stand for. "There is a battle for the heart and soul of our country that I intend on helping win," Boebert says on the website. "I'm running for Congress to stand up for our conservative values, address our current representatives' failed promises, and put far-left Democrats back in their place. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Squad and the rest of these left-wing lunatics are taking a wrecking ball to our country while our current representative stays utterly silent," she says.
"Hard-working, patriotic Americans like you and me don't want the Green New Deal and socialized medicine. Every time AOC and the rest of the Squad pipes up with another crazy idea, I will remind them that our belief in God, Country and Family are what built the United States of America into the greatest nation the world has ever known." (Read more)
- Father God, we pray Lauren Boebert will be strengthened by the power of the Lord who motivates her to continue standing for the Republican belief that trusts God to carry her through to her next victory. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy."(Psalm 147:11)
7. Minnesota Gov Requests Emergency Declaration as Riot Damage Exceeds $500 Million - Western Journal
Minnesota is seeking millions of dollars from the federal government to clean up after the riots that erupted in the aftermath of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis police custody May 25. On Thursday, Gov. Tim Walz announced he was seeking Federal Emergency Management Agency cash, noting that the rioting left a trail of more than $500 million in destruction.
"We're asking our federal partners to step up and help our communities recover," he said in a news release. "We need to come together to ensure Minnesotans who were victims of this destruction have access to critical infrastructure they need so they can go to the grocery store, pick up their medication, and live their lives. Together, we will rebuild."
The release said that during the rioting and destruction that raged in Minneapolis and surrounding communities, the state called on more than 10,000 law enforcement personnel to try to restore order and the Minnesota National Guard was fully mobilized for the first time since World War II. "Nearly 1,500 Twin Cities businesses were damaged by vandalism, fire, or looting," the release said, referring to Minneapolis, the epicenter of the rioting, and nearby St. Paul. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray the request for millions of dollars from the government emergency funds needed in Minnesota will be wisely disbursed. We ask in the Name of Jesus.
- "O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in You." (Psalm 84:12)
8. National Security law is a 'threat to Christians' in Hong Kong - Christian Today
The imposition of a draconian national security law in Hong Kong this week has given rise to fears over the fate of Christians.
Andrew Boyd, spokesperson for Release International, which supports persecuted Christians worldwide, said he was "deeply concerned" by events unfolding in Hong Kong. He said the implementation of the new security law raised important questions about the rights of churches in Hong Kong, as he voiced concerns that the situation could quickly mirror mainland China, where Christians are persecuted.
"In China, the Communist Party is demolishing churches, tearing down crosses and imprisoning human rights lawyers who defend religious freedom in the courts," he said. "The fundamental issue for Christians in China - and in the days to come in Hong Kong - is who governs the church. In China, the atheist Communist Party demands total allegiance and exercises complete control over the church.
"Christians in mainland China who assert that most basic of human rights - freedom of worship - are increasingly finding themselves accused of subversion and being a threat to national security. The Christians of Hong Kong are now facing the same threat to their religious freedom."
The sweeping new laws are aimed at cracking down on dissent and snuffing out pro-democracy protests that have challenged Beijing's increasing grip of Hong Kong over the last year (Read more)
- Almighty God in heaven, we ask that You bind every demonic entity under the Blood Jesus, that is taking over the land of Hong Kong and pulling the people under its power of demonic oppression. Enlighten them to stand with God and against satan. Cancel out this draconian national security law in Hong Kong. Break the authority of the Communist party over the church there and in China. In Jesus' Name we pray.
- "And I will give them one heart, and will put a new spirit within them, and will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will given them a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 11:19)
9. Iran Threatens Retaliation After What It Calls Possible Cyberattack on Nuclear Site - The Algemeiner
Iran will retaliate against any country that carries out cyber attacks on its nuclear sites, the head of civilian defense said, after a fire at its Natanz plant which some Iranian officials said may have been caused by cyber sabotage. The Natanz uranium-enrichment site, much of which is underground, is one of several Iranian facilities monitored by inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN nuclear watchdog.
Iran's top security body said on Friday that the cause of the "incident" at the nuclear site had been determined, but "due to security considerations" it would be announced at a convenient time. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization initially reported an "incident" had occurred early on Thursday at Natanz, located in the desert in the central province of Isfahan.
It later published a photo of a one-story brick building with its roof and walls partly burned. A door hanging off its hinges suggested that there had been an explosion inside the building. "Responding to cyber attacks is part of the country's defense might. If it is proven that our country has been targeted by a cyber attack, we will respond," civil defense chief Gholamreza Jalali told state TV late on Thursday.
An article issued on Thursday by state news agency IRNA addressed what it called the possibility of sabotage by enemies such as Israel and the United States, although it stopped short of accusing either directly. "So far Iran has tried to prevent intensifying crises and the formation of unpredictable conditions and situations," IRNA said. "But the crossing of red lines of the Islamic Republic of Iran by hostile countries, especially the Zionist regime and the US, means that strategy . . . should be revised." (Read more)
- Righteous Father, we pray that You will send holy angels to go all around Iran to close down every nuclear site that are gearing up to attack Israel. Let not the wickedness of Iran be unleashed. Lord, save a remnant in Iran who will believe in Jesus as their Savior. In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray.
- "That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments." (Psalm 78:7)
10. Antonin Scalia, Jackie Robinson among those picked for Trump's 'National Garden' of heroes - Fox News
President Trump on Friday announced the creation of a National Garden of American Heroes to pay tribute to historically significant Americans -- a garden that will include former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and baseball star Jackie Robinson among past presidents, anti-slavery advocates and others.
"I am announcing the creation of a new monument to the giants of our past, I am signing an executive order to establish a National Garden of American Heroes, a vast outdoor park featuring statues of the greatest Americans to ever live," he said in a fiery speech in front of Mount Rushmore Friday
night. The order says that the garden, to be opened before July 4, 2024 will "depict historically significant Americans... who have contributed positively to America throughout our history." It comes as a response to the anti-monument fervor that has gripped segments of the country, who have taken to either calling for the removal of, or simply attempting to tear down, monuments and statues of past American figures. The proposed names on the list include Scalia, the conservative justice who died in 2016, Robinson, who was the first black American to play in Major League Baseball, Christa McAuliffe, a teacher who died in the 1986 Challenger shuttle disaster, the Wright Brothers, who flew the first powered flight, educator Booker T. Washington, and women's rights activist Susan B. Anthony. (To read The full list of proposed heroes, go here.)
11. Michigan Passes Controversial Bill To Microchip Humans Voluntarily "To Protect Their Privacy" - ZeroHedge.com
The Michigan House of Representatives has passed a controversial bill to microchip humans voluntarily in the state under the guise of protecting their privacy. The Microchip Protection Act would allow Michigan employers to use microchipping of their workers with their consent. However, research has shown that RFID transponders causes cancer.
The plan to microchip humans is sponsored by Rep. Bronna Kahle under the guise of protecting the privacy of workers. The stated objective of the bill is that it will protect the privacy rights of Michigan workers and promote further growth for job providers as it relates to microchipping - a cutting-edge technology on the rise that increases workplace efficiency.
Radio-frequency identification tags, commonly referred to as microchips, are beginning to seep into the marketplace as new technological devices to help streamline everyday business practices. The chips, roughly the size of a grain of rice, are implanted into the hands of employees and act as a replacement for I.D. badges, timecards, usernames and passwords for security clearance, and even credit cards.
Under Kahle's plan, Michigan employers would be able utilize microchipping, but could not mandate employees to have such devices implanted. Kahle said the measure strikes a good balance between protecting workers' rights and providing businesses with flexibility to increase efficiency and further grow. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank You that this bill allows employees to opt out of taking this chip. We ask that You give them the wisdom to do so. This is another sign that the end of days is approaching; may we all be ready for that day. In Him, amen.
- "He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16,17)
12. Republican revolt: Anti-Trump insurgents choose 'country over party,' defect to Biden - Washington Times
The Trumpian rift in the Republican Party has deepened in recent days as allies of one of the GOP's former presidents and former White House nominees have taken steps to endorse the enemy.
The GOP defectors followed the lead of the Lincoln Project, a group formed last year by prominent Republicans in Washington to oppose the reelection of Mr. Trump. They blame Mr. Trump for the divisions in the country and what they call the failure of the U.S. political system.
"President Donald Trump and those who sign onto Trumpism are a clear and present danger to the Constitution and our Republic," the group declares in its mission statement. "Only defeating so polarizing a character as Trump will allow the country to heal its political and psychological wounds and allow for a new, better path forward for all Americans."
The Republican anti-Trump forces willfully overlook the president's wins on the conservative scorecard, including cutting taxes, appointing hundreds of conservative judges, confronting illegal immigration and rebuilding the military, said Ford O'Connell, a GOP strategist closely allied with the White House. "The fact that they are going to throw that all away out of spite makes you questions whether they are actually conservatives," he said. (Read more)
- Father God, we come to You on bended knee. Lord, forgive them, for they know NOT what they do! We bind the root of the traitor that was birthed by Benedict Arnold, and we ask for a cleansing of their minds. Lord God, take the blinders off, we pray, that this group will walk in truth. In Your name, amen.
- "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)
Weekend Riots Mar 4th of July Holiday
Fourth of July weekend marked by violence as girl, 7, among dead in Chicago, cities see deadly shootings
The Fourth of July holiday weekend across the U.S. was marred by violence as more than 14 were killed and dozens were injured in shootings, including at a nightclub in South Carolina.
In Chicago, a city known for its bloody gun violence, more than 67 people were shot over the holiday weekend and at least 13 were killed, including a 7-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
"Tonight, a 7-year-old girl in Austin joined a list of teenagers and children whose hopes and dreams were ended by the barrel of a gun," Mayor Lori Lightfoot said on Twitter late Saturday. "As a city, we must wrap our arms around our youth so they understand there's a future for them that isn't wrapped up in gun violence."
The city of Chicago was not alone in facing a violent holiday weekend.

- Father God, we, Your Church, come before You in true, heartfelt and humble repentance, laying axe to this root of lawlessness via its opposite spirit: HUMILITY. We ask Your mercy upon our land. Father God . . . heal our land, we pray, amen.
- " . . . if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Sound the Shofar . . . How Will You Be Weighed?
Shalom Praying Friends,
On Monday June 29, 2020 the Supreme Court of the United States struck out when it decided it was no longer going to stay in its designated legal lane of judicial interpretation and ruling and instead legislated outside the Constitution of the United States. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas filed a blistering opinion dissenting the decision to strike down a Louisiana law that required abortion doctors to obtain admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, calling the court's record on abortion "grievously wrong."
FIVE JUSTICES vs. THE PEOPLE
"Chances are, these Supreme Court justices will never meet the parents of Jamie Lee Morales. They'll never have to look in the eyes of the little boy left behind by Tonya Reaves or console the husband of Jennifer Morbelli. They won't have to explain how Karnamaya Mongar survived war in Nepal only to die in the filthy recliner of a Philadelphia abortion center. Because even though three of them have daughters, the five justices who struck down Louisiana's abortion law don't seem to care that young women will keep dying because of courts like theirs.
"Unnecessary." That's the word the majority of justices used to describe a law that would have kept 10,000 women a year safe. Women, who, when they walk through the doors of Louisiana's abortion centers every year, are under the assumption they'll be protected. That their doctors care. Jamie Lee would give anything to warn them -- to tell them to turn back and go home -- but she'll never have the chance. She bled to death in the back of her sister's car because her abortionist didn't want to call an ambulance over the seven-inch gash he put in her uterus. Today, five justices sided with him. They said asking doctors like Robert Rho to have a relationship with a local hospital was "a burden." That it didn't "further women's health." That it was "an obstacle to abortion access." By tearing down Louisiana's law, the Supreme Court gave women access all right -- to shoddy, life-threatening care."
"Unnecessary!" With a sinking heart I heard the cries of the intercessors and the infant's who cry out at Heaven's altars. "How long O Lord will this wickedness continue? As in a haze, I saw the justices in their robes before me but distinctly I saw Justice John Roberts ruling, casting the deciding vote. Next to him were the scales of justice along with the words that were written so long ago by the hand of God, "MENE,*MENE, TEKEL,* UPHARSIN.*"

AT CALVARY
"When they came to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him." (Luke 23:33)
Lyrics
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.
Refrain
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary.
By God's Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I'd spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.
Refrain
Now I've given to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my king,
Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary!
Refrain
Oh, the love that drew salvation's plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!

Coronavirus-shaped hailstones batter Beijing during freak thunderstorm
Huge coronavirus-shaped hailstones have pummelled Beijing as the Chinese capital fights a surge of COVID-19 cases which exploded from a sprawling food market in the city.
Images taken by Beijing residents show the spiked pieces of ice - resembling the spherical virus particles - after they were rained down on the capital city Thursday during a freak summer thunderstorm.
It comes as China has put half a million people into a strict Wuhan-style lockdown following a new wave of COVID-19 infections in Beijing.
Local residents rushed to share pictures of huge lumps of ice on social media while many web users were shocked to spot the high resemblance between the hailstones and coronavirus cells.
One commenter wrote: 'Why do they look so much like the coronavirus? This year is going to be so turbulent.'
Another one replied: 'What a strange year it has been, now the hailstones look like the coronavirus!'

Humble Prayers for Healing America
America is hurting. Pandemics, racial inequalities, job loss, and political division have caused great suffering. We are called to be salt and light on the earth. As Christians, we can begin healing our land through prayer and action. Let us come together not just by words but a faith that produces works. The love and grace of God can begin turning the tide of America. We look to You and to You, only, Lord. Help us make wise decisions that move our country in the right direction. Help us to do our part in praying and in staying with what we know is right according to the truth of Your Word. Teach us to make our actions count and our words matter, and line them both up to Your sense of rightness, not ours. Guide us with Your eye; grip us with Your strong arm; teach us what we need to know to make our lives - and our nation - count for you.

About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
