1. Jordanian king tells senators annexation plans threaten regional stability - Times of Israel
Jordan's King Abdullah II on Tuesday warned US lawmakers that Israel's plan to annex parts of the West Bank was "unacceptable" and would undermine regional stability.
Abdullah spoke with US senators and emphasized the kingdom's commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
"Any unilateral Israeli measure to annex lands in the West Bank is unacceptable and undermines the prospects of achieving peace and stability in the region," the royal court said in a statement.
The Jordanian monarch is speaking to US lawmakers and several congressional committees this week to voice his opposition to Israel's plans.
On Wednesday he is scheduled for video appearances with the Senate Foreign Relations and House Foreign Affairs committees.
Abdullah, who has previously hinted that Jordan could tear up the peace deal with Israel if the plans go ahead, has reportedly refused to take phone calls from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

2. Greenblatt: Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria Not Illegal, Land not 'Palestinian' - Jewish Press
Former White House Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt wrote on Monday that the U.S. government does not believe that the extension of Israeli sovereignty in parts of Judea and Samaria would be illegal and that it is, in fact, permitted by U.S. President Donald Trump's "Peace to Prosperity" plan.
"Our view was that the leadership in Ramallah should no longer have a veto on what happens to this land and to the Israelis living there. But to protect the Palestinians, we gave them a lengthy period-four years-to get their house in order so that they, too, could obtain the many benefits contemplated by the vision for peace," wrote Greenblatt in an op-ed in The Jerusalem Post.
He said that after spending over three years traveling to Arab capitals, "he came to learn that we agree on far more than we disagree on."
The op-ed was a response to an opinion piece by Yousef al-Otaiba, the United Arab Emirates ambassador to the United States, who published an article in at Ynet arguing that applying Israeli sovereignty to the areas under discussion would be illegal.

3. Judaism's holiest sites to be left out of sovereignty plan? - Israel National News
t appears as if Joseph's Tomb, the Tomb of the Patriarchs, and Rachel's Tomb-holy places which generations of Jews dreamed of seeing with their own eyes one day, may end up beyond Israeli sovereignty.
Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan said it was a mistake Jews around the world would never forgive. "It's something we can't-and won't accept," he proclaimed.
"The holiest places in the Jewish faith can't be abandoned by a right-wing government or any Israeli government for that matter. This is a rejection of the most fundamental principles of the Jewish people's return to their homeland. Rachel's Tomb, Joseph's Tomb and the Tomb of the Patriarchs will not be abandoned."
Dagan said the current outline presented a problem for all of the settlement blocs. "The truth must come out: If Netanyahu draws a map that leaves out Elon Moreh, he is, in fact, giving up on Elon Moreh. When you have 19 isolated settlements, it looks like a second disengagement," he asserted.

4. Five Blue and White ministers quit Knesset to make room for new MKs - Jerusalem Post
Blue and White leader Benny Gantz announced on Wednesday that the following five ministers in his party would quit the Knesset in accordance with the Norwegian Law: Chili Tropper, Assaf Zamir, Alon Schuster, Izhar Shay and Michael Biton.
They will be replaced in the Knesset by the next candidates on the Blue and White list: Former Yesh Atid MK Yorai Lahav Hertzanu, Michal Cotler-Wunsh, Einav Kabala, Tehila Friedman and Hila Shay Vazan.
Of the five, only Lahav Hertzanu will be part of the Yesh Atid-Telem faction in the opposition.
Gantz met with the remaining four, who will be part of the Blue and White faction in the coalition, and welcomed them.
With five men quitting in favor of four women and one man, the number of women in the Knesset will rise from 29 to 33.

5. Israel expecting 90,000 new immigrants in next 18 months - World Israel News
Israel is expecting that 90,000 new immigrants will arrive in Israel from around the world in the next 18 months, The Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday.
Minister of Aliyah and Integration Pnina Tamano-Shata told the Knesset immigration committee the latest forecasts estimate that the coronavirus pandemic is pushing Jews by the tens of thousands to move to Israel.
Interest in making aliyah (literally "ascent") has soared, especially in the United States where organizations like Nefesh B'Nefesh have reported huge increases in the numbers of families starting the process or seeking more information.
Although both Nefesh B'Nefesh and the Jewish Agency are seeing record numbers, immigration to Israel is actually down in 2020 because the pandemic has brought international air travel to a near halt.
Only a few special flights with new immigrants have arrived from the U.S., and last week a special charter by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews brought 39 new immigrants from Peru.

1. Judge rejects request to stop Tulsa Trump rally over coronavirus concerns - Politico
An Oklahoma judge on Tuesday declined to issue a court order to stop a rally for President Donald Trump in Tulsa until the rally's organizers imposed social-distancing guidelines to combat the spread of coronavirus.
Earlier in the day, two Tulsa organizations - The Greenwood Cultural Centre and the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation - along with two immunocompromised residents of the city, had sued the operators of the BOK Center, where the rally is scheduled to take place. The plaintiffs argued that the boisterous rally, with crowds of people yelling in close proximity, would be an incubator for another coronavirus outbreak.

2. Top DOJ official announces resignation hours after appearing in lawsuit over Bolton book - Washington Examiner
Assistant Attorney General Jody Hunt, the head of the Civil Division, sent an email to employees on Tuesday declaring his intention to step aside on July 3.
"I have the utmost respect and admiration for you because I have personally witnessed the manner in which you have carried out your responsibilities. And you are, after all, the greatest litigation force on earth!" he wrote.
The note came hours after his name appeared in the Justice Department lawsuit was filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, according to Law.com. The lawsuit argues that Bolton, President Trump's former national security adviser, breached nondisclosure agreements and is risking national security with the disclosure of classified material in his book that is due out on July 23.

3. 'The End Of The Conservative Legal Movement': Hawley Denounces SCOTUS Ruling In Fiery Senate Floor Speech - The Daily Caller
Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley condemned Monday's Supreme Court decision on LGBT anti-discrimination Tuesday, saying the ruling spelled the "end of the conservative legal movement."
"If this case makes anything clear, it's that the bargain that's been offered to religious conservatives for years now is a bad one," Hawley said in a Senate floor speech Tuesday. "It's time to reject it."
The Missouri senator's comments came after the Supreme Court ruled in a 6 - 3 decision Monday that federal law protects LGBT and transgender employees from discrimination under the same statute that bans unequal treatment in the workplace based on sex.

4. GOP police reform bill would incentivize cities to stop using chokeholds but wouldn't ban them - USA Today
Congressional Republicans on Wednesday unveiled a police reform package, teeing up what could be a contentious debate with Democrats over how to address the changes demanded by many Americans in the aftermath of George Floyd's death and widespread protests over police brutality and systemic racism.
Led by Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. - the chamber's lone Black Republican - the bill includes measures aimed at increasing transparency at police agencies and around use-of-force incidents, while also incentivizing departments to use body cameras and ban chokeholds by withholding federal grant money.
"Too often we're having a discussion in this nation, about are you supporting the law enforcement community or are you supporting communities of color. This is a false binary choice," Scott said at a news conference unveiling his bill Wednesday.

5. Former US Forces Korea commander: North Korea needs to be 'agitated' right now - Washington Examiner
Retired Army Gen. Vincent Brooks, former commander of U.S. Forces Korea, said Wednesday that North Korea recently blowing up a liaison office with South Korea and signaling that it will remilitarize the security zone must be countered with military measures to shore up the U.S.-South Korea partnership.
North Korea, I believe, needs to be agitated right now as a result of this so that they feel that they may have overstepped," Brooks said in a virtual conversation hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies. "It's about causing a change in calculus, not about causing an incident," he said, suggesting the United States could lift the embargo on strategic assets on the Korean Peninsula.

6. Pence says second-wave fears are overblown as hospitalizations rise in some states - Washington Examiner
Vice President Mike Pence said that fears of a second wave of coronavirus infections were "overblown" as hospitalizations rise in several states.
While talk of an increase in cases dominates cable news coverage, more than half of states are actually seeing cases decline or remain stable," Pence wrote Tuesday in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.
He also touted the Trump administration's efforts to combat the virus and cited improved testing capacity, which has covered about 7% of the U.S. population. He added that the total U.S. test-positive rate is about 6%, though public health experts maintain that the ideal positivity rate is 5% or lower.

7. The Trump administration is suing former national security adviser John Bolton to prevent him from publishing his book - Business Insider
The Trump administration filed a lawsuit against former national security adviser John Bolton on Tuesday to prevent him from publishing his new book, according to court records.
The administration is accusing Bolton of breaching his contract and compromising national security by publishing the book, which the president and his administration say contains classified information.
The book, "In the Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir," is set to be released on June 23, and Bolton has already taped an interview with ABC News to promote it.
It offers multiple inside looks at events that took place during Bolton's rocky tenure as Trump's third national security adviser. In particular, it reveals new details about what happened in the White House during Trump's efforts to strongarm Ukraine into delivering political dirt against former Vice President Joe Biden, Trump's 2020 rival.

8. Fired Atlanta officer charged with murder in Rayshard Brooks shooting - CBS News
The former Atlanta police officer who fatally shot a black man as he ran away with the officer's Taser last week has been charged with murder, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced Wednesday. Garrett Rolfe, who was fired after the killing of 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, faces 11 criminal charges, including felony murder.
If convicted, Rolfe could face the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
Howard, speaking to reporters Wednesday, said Brooks never displayed any "aggressive behavior" toward the officers during the nearly 42-minute exchange with officers. Howard said the officers failed to provide "timely" medical attention to Brooks after he was shot and that Rolfe kicked Brooks as he was lying on the ground, "fighting for his life."

9. Poll: Joe Biden Builds 13-Point Advantage over President Trump - Brietbart
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has opened up a 13-point lead over President Donald Trump - the widest margin this year - according to a poll released Wednesday, although Trump is clearly backed as the better steward of the country's economy.
In the June 10-16 Reuters/Ipsos poll, 48 percent of registered voters said they would back Biden, while 35 percent said they would give their support to Trump.
Biden's double-digit advantage is the biggest recorded by the Reuters/Ipsos poll since Democrats began their state contests to nominate their party's challenger to Trump come November. A similar CNN poll from earlier this month showed Biden with a 14-point lead over Trump among registered voters, as Breitbart News reported.
Fifty-five percent of respondents said they disapprove of Trump's handling of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed over 115,000 Americans, with 40 approving of his response to the crisis.

10. Wife of Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr Tragically Dies at 39 Years Old - IFA
We have just received word that Rep. Andy Barr's (KY) wife, Carol, passed away suddenly in her sleep at age 39. We are asking for immediate prayer coverage for Rep. Barr and his family. He has two precious girls ages 8 and 5. His daughter's names are Eleanor and Mary Clay.
Rep. Barr asked for prayers for his family and especially noted Carol's strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If you can imagine, both Rep. Barr and his wife, Carol, were scheduled to be on a prayer and fellowship call with members of Congress and congressional spouses tonight through Alabaster House, a ministry friend of Intercessors for America. Pray that the Barr family would experience the comfort of God.

Antifa sets up fascist state in Seattle
In the name of freedom and anti-fascism, Antifa has taken over part of Seattle and has established a fascist enclave. It is difficult to obtain information on exactly what is happening there. Nonetheless, there are several collaborative accounts from anonymous sources, including those claiming to be Seattle police, that report Antifa leaders are carrying AK-47s, there are checkpoints backed by armed guards, they are stopping citizens at gunpoint. One report indicates that Antifa is setting up an ID system and creating a currency. There are many videos online that confirm citizen harassment. Reports cite that protests about racism were hijacked by Antifa terrorists who are supported by Seattle city council members.
The Daily Jot reported in October 2017: The masked thugs that comprise Antifa are visible reminders of how people are trying to tear down American society, destroy the American ideal. They attack police officers. In the name of anti-fascism, they perpetrate fascism. A militant arm of Antifa is the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement (RAM). On its website RAM says it, "is a political movement dedicated to freeing people from bondage and building resistance in the United States. We situate our political movement in the context of the abolitionist struggle against slavery and continue in the tradition, from Nat Turner to the Black Liberation Movement as revolutionary anarchists, the abolitionist struggle must be extended to the state and capitalism, the perpetrators of oppression. We will burn down the American plantation once and for all."
On April 25th, 2017, The Daily Jot reported that Antifa stands for "anti-fascist action" and, by its own definition, is an organization of anarchists and communists fighting to end fascism. Antifa is working unofficially and with plausible deniability in collaboration with the ex-"president's" Organizing for Action, which boasts a following of protesters some 30,000 strong with 250 offices across the country. OFA is the George Soros-funded $40 million front group set up as the ex "president's" shadow government and leads other non-profits in signaling protests across the country. Antifa shows up as the "enforcer" to violently dispirit pro-Constitutional Americans.
On June 3, the San Diego Union Tribune reported that the "ex-president," while participating in an online round-table event from his Washington, DC home, said, "For those who have been talking about protest, just remember that this country was founded on protest - it is called the American Revolution." A week after these remarks, Antifa moved on Seattle and took control of an area now called the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ). Breitbart and Fox News reported the armed takeover, while CNN and the New York Times refuted these reports, siding with the Mayor and City Council, calling the takeover "part street festival, part commune." CNN and others claimed these takeover reports were absolutely false.
This is not a drill. It's real. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Do not be deceived by denials, especially when these people justify violence in the name of protecting social justice and free speech while, in reality, they oppress both. This includes the news media, some elected officials, and a political narrative. It is an example of how an issue that needs to be sincerely addressed is hijacked and choked out by those claiming to be something they are not. Deception and rebellion are in the air, making it difficult to breath truth.

Scientists baffled after 50,000-year-old lake mysteriously changes color
The 50,000-year-old Lonar Lake, created when a meteorite hit Earth, just turned pink and scientists are investigating what's behind it.
Fifty-thousand years ago, a massive meteorite collided with Earth's surface at an unimaginable high speed of 55,923 miles per hour - its impact created a large crater in India that has transformed into a lake over time. Now, scientists are baffled after the lake waters recently and suddenly changed from green to pink.
This isn't the first time that the lake has puzzled scientists. The origins of the lake confused scientists in the past, and some geologists questioned whether it was actually a volcano crater due to its location in a massive expanse of flatland made up of basalt rock left behind volcanic eruptions believed to have occurred 65 million years ago, according to NASA.
However, today scientists have confirmed Lonar Crater is the result of a meteorite impact that occurred between 35,000 and 50,000 years ago, NASA reported.
Lonar Lake is situated in the Buldhana District of Maharashtra, a state located in western India. It is the second-most populous state and includes the city of Mumbai, a financial center and one of the largest cities in India, home nearly 19 million people.
With both saline and alkaline water, geologists, ecologists, archaeologists, naturalists and astronomers have studied the various aspects of this crater lake ecosystem for years.
Hills of ancient ruins and Hindu temples surround the crater lake, which is seven times saltier than seawater. It is known as the world's oldest basaltic rock meteorite crater in the world.
The district, where the lake is located, was once part of the Maurya Empire and then part of the Satavahana Empire.

Reading the Bible Together
WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)

We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]
