To Divide? Or not to Divide?

To Divide? Or not to Divide? That is what our leaders will decide

CHPP Conference Call
Monday, June 22, 2020

On the prayer call tonight, we had guest speaker, Rosemary Schindler join us. She shared on the topic of threshold/blood covenant. She shared that the threshold/blood covenant began with Abraham with his animal sacrifice, continued with Passover, with blood of the lamb applied on the doorposts, is also seen when Abraham offered Isaac up on Mount of Olives, and continued with Yeshua who shed drops of blood on Mount of Olives, and then ascended to heaven from there and will return when his feet touch down on the Mount of Olives.

She shared about the covenant that God made with Abraham in granting him and his seed the land of Israel forever and in perpetuity.

A decision will soon be made by Netanyahu about whether to declare sovereignty over the Jewish communities in Judea/Samaria, based upon the "Deal of the Century" map and plan that was announced on 1.28.20 by President Trump.

We prayed that the US would be counted as a sheep nation and would continue to stand in strong support of Israel and the Jewish people.

We prayed for the leaders who will be meeting over the next few days who will be making decisions about the sovereignty matter in Israel. We interceded that the land would NOT be divided which would violate God's covenant with Abraham and his seed.

The nations have seen huge consequences/discipline by the hand of the LORD since the announcing of this Peace plan. Spiritual consequences include: global COVID pandemic and many cities in riots & chaos.

> > > Scriptures that were brought out:

- Zechariah 12:1-5, warns against dividing the city of Jerusalem

- Joel 3:1-2, scripture warns against dividing the land of Israel

- Revelation 3:19-20, scripture is speaking about threshold covenant

1. What is Israel's next move as Turks and Saudis duel over Jerusalem? - JNS

(June 22, 2020 / JNS) Tensions have run increasingly high between the Jordanians and Saudis on one side, and the Turks and Qataris on the other over control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

"Turkey's neo-Ottominism in its foreign policy seeks to re-establish its empire; however, the audience is not Western elites, but is meant for domestic consumption," said David Wurmser, who served as a senior adviser on the Middle East to former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and is currently an executive at the Dephi Global Analysis Group, which he founded.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is driving "an internal policy outward, tapping into the primordial roots of what Turkey once was with the dissolution of the Ottoman caliphate," Wurmser told JNS.

It all goes back to the modern struggle within Turkey of whether or not the country is meant to be a secular democracy or the leader of the Islamic world, says the former senior U.S. official.

2. Israeli spacecraft moves to forefront in NASA Neptune mission - World Israel News

A Weizmann Institute-designed spacecraft is in the running to be chosen by NASA for a mission to Neptune. The craft, named Trident, has received over $3 million in funding to enable researchers to search for signs of life and study the atmosphere and oceans of the planet Neptune's moon, Triton.

After last July's crash landing of the Israeli aircraft Beresheet on the moon, the Neptune mission may be the Jewish state's attempt at redemption in space exploration.

Trident was chosen among 22 competitors and is currently one of four projects remaining in the final stage of selection. NASA will choose two crafts for the 2026 launch. The craft are expected to arrive at Neptune in 2038.

One of the critical features above the Israeli craft is a hyper-accurate clock, built by Jerusalem-based firm Accubeat. The clock, which loses less than one second every million years, will be able to record, measure, and transmit data about Triton's atmosphere.

3. Welfare minister: Half a million Israelis about to lose unemployment benefits- Times of Israel

Half a million out of work Israelis will be left without unemployment benefits by the end of July, leaving them with no source of income, Minister of Labor, Social Welfare and Social Services Itzik Shmuli warned Monday.

"This is a ticking bomb," Shmuli said at a press briefing along with National Insurance Institute director-general Meir Spiegler.

Shmuli urged the Finance Ministry to extend the period that unemployment benefits can be claimed to help those who lost their jobs due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Although the Finance Ministry has previously granted extensions for unemployment benefits, earlier this month it announced it would not continue the practice into June. Special stipends to unemployed workers over the retirement age of 67, which were paid in March, April and May, will also no longer be provided.

4. Senior Trump aides said to begin informal talks on whether to back annexation - Times of Israel

Senior aides to US President Donald Trump on Tuesday began discussions on the administration's position on Israel's planned annexation of parts of the West Bank, a US official and a person familiar with the deliberations told the Reuters news agency.

The White House discussions reportedly included senior adviser Jared Kushner, national security adviser Robert O'Brien, Middle East envoy Avi Berkowitz and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, the US official said.

5. Pompeo: Annexation is a decision for the Israeli government - Jerusalem Post

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo addressed a question about the possible ramifications of Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank on Wednesday and said that extending Israel's sovereignty is a decision that is up to the Israeli government to take. He added that he wished the Palestinians had come to the table to negotiate the Trump peace plan.

"We unveiled a peace vision a few months ago, and we're continuing to work down that path," he said. "The decisions about Israel extending sovereignty towards these places are decisions for the Israelis to make. We are talking to all of the countries in the region about how it is we can manage this process.

The Daily Brief

1. Appeals court orders Flynn case dismissal, after years-long legal saga - Fox News

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ordered a lower court to allow the case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to be dismissed, as requested by the Justice Department -- likely ending the years-long legal saga stemming from the Russia investigation.

The abrupt ending came in a 2-1 ruling and order from judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Wednesday's court order was direct, ordering "that Flynn's petition for a writ of mandamus be granted in part; the District Court is directed to grant the government's . . . motion to dismiss; and the District Court's order appointing an amicus is hereby vacated as moot, in accordance with the opinion of the court filed herein this date."

President Trump cheered the decision Wednesday morning, tweeting: "Great! Appeals Court Upholds Justice Departments Request To Drop Criminal Case Against General Michael Flynn!" (Read more)

- Father God, we rejoice along with President Trump at this news that Michael Flynn has now been vindicated, and exonerated of all charges being held against him. Praise the Lord!

"And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday." (Psalm 37:6)

2. Trump Announces Executive Order To 'Make the Cities Guard Their Monuments' - Western Journal

President Donald Trump announced Monday he plans to take action against cities that allow liberal demonstrators to take down American statues and monuments with apparent impunity.

During an interview with Fox News contributor and Eternal Word Television Network anchor Raymond Arroyo, Trump was asked about the trend of left-leaning protesters defacing public property by vandalizing statues and monuments.

"We are going to do an executive order and we're going to make the cities guard their monuments. This is a disgrace," the president replied.

"It's a disgrace," he also said.

"Remember, some of this is great artwork. This is magnificent artwork, as good as there is anywhere in the world, as good as you see in France, as good as you see anywhere. It's a disgrace." (Read more)

- Lord God, thank you that our President is taking charge over these wanton acts of vandalism, murder and destruction. Give President Trump Your wisdom as he constructs this executive order. We ask for truth, not rewritten history, and true justice, not anarchy. Above all, Father, we ask that You expose those who orchestrate, train, encourage, and finance these professional rioters to do their bidding to further the deep state's plans. May rioters come to their senses and discover the destiny You have for their lives, for good and not for evil, before it is too late. May the satan-led overlords be quickly rooted out and brought to justice.

Rescue me, Lord, from evildoers; protect me from the violent, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent's; the poison of vipers is on their lips. (Psalm 140:1-3, NIV)

3. This Is Huge': Trump May Delist Chinese Firms From US Markets - Newsmax

Financial markets suffered another trade-related blow Friday on concern the Trump administration may move to limit U.S. investment in China, a move sure to raise tensions.

The S&P 500 turned lower after Bloomberg reported that officials are discussing ways to restrict portfolio flows into the world's second-largest economy.

The index bounced around in the minutes after the headlines before extending declines, and Chinese firms traded in the U.S. were under pressure as investors assessed a move that would have repercussions for billions of dollars in investment pegged to major indexes. (Read more)

- Father God, only You know the perfect what, how and why for this situation. Our prayer is for just measures and honest communication. Let Your righteousness be released into the affairs of our financial systems.

"Shall I count pure those with the wicked scales, And with the bag of deceitful weights?" (Micah 6:11)

4. US moves to restrict Chinese media outlets as 'propaganda' - ABC News

The Trump administration added four Chinese media outlets Monday to a list of organizations that should be considered "foreign missions" because of their ties to the government and the Communist Party, a move that could force some to cut staff in the U.S. and is likely to further aggravate relations between the two countries.

State Department officials said the four organizations, including state-run CCTV, would be required to submit a list of everyone who works for them in the U.S. and any real estate holdings just as they would if they were foreign embassies or consulates.

None are being ordered to leave the U.S. and no limits on their activities were announced. But five other Chinese organizations were directed to cap the number of people who could work in the United States in March - a month after they were designated as foreign missions. (Read more)

- Thank you, Lord, for this strong stance against continued communist infiltration into our nation. The media already works hard to undermine our American culture and way of life, it is good to expose the assertive Chinese communist perspective that has gained unrestricted access to our nation and social structures.

"All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."  (Psalm 75:10)

5. Protesters make demands after claiming church near White House as 'Black House Autonomous Zone' - Washington Examiner

Protesters behind the White House on Monday night claimed the historic St. John's Episcopal Church as the "Black House Autonomous Zone," vandalizing four of the church's columns with the acronym BHAZ.

"We're going to take this building and turn it into our headquarters, where all we're going to do is write policy and process claims for the injury of slavery in this country," he said.

Directly outside the church, protesters set up tents and spray-painted messages about racial justice on the building itself. And, as police held off attempts to take down Jackson, various people would retreat from the crowd to relax under the church's awning, smoke cigarettes, and relieve themselves.

The implications of St. John's new role in BHAZ remains to be seen. Not everyone at the protest Monday night is optimistic about its prospects. "Our next step is war," said a protester who declined to be named. "This peaceful demonstration is cute and all - but that's the next step." (Read more)

- Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, we strongly come against this attack on this historic church, our system of law and order, and an attempt to sow discord and hatred between the races in our country. Father, raise up Your standard against this anti-Christ behavior to put an end to it.

- "Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and see, it has not been bandaged for healing, nor a splint put on to bind it, to make it strong enough to hold a sword." (Ezekiel 30:21)

6. Nadler to subpoena AG Barr over Berman firing - The Hill

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) confirmed Monday night he plans to issue a subpoena to compel Attorney General Bill Barr to testify before Congress on July 2.

"We have begun the process to issue that subpoena. It is very much true. We are doing that," Nadler said during an appearance on MSNBC's "Rachel Maddow Show.

Democratic Judiciary staffers also held a conference call Monday and discussed the subpoena, said a source on the call. But Democrats said they expect Barr to ignore the subpoena.

The development comes just three days after Barr announced the sudden departure of Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. attorney for the South District of New York who had been leading several investigations that involved Trump and his advisers, including personal attorney Rudy Guiliani. (Read more)

- Precious Lord, we come against this constant investigating and harassing of administration officials purely for political purposes. We decree and declare that this activity shall cease and be replaced with a cooperative spirit that honors who the people elected.

- "Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap." (Psalms 69:22)

7. The iconic Rockefeller Center statues are wearing masks too - New York Post

Rockefeller Center's famed statues were fitted out with masks Monday - as the city entered its phase two reopening.

The iconic "Atlas" holding a globe, the "Mankind Figures" and the golden "Prometheus" were all seen with blue fabric over their faces.

The stunt, by real estate investment firm Tishman Speyer, was intended to remind New Yorkers to put on face coverings and observe social distancing as they venture out.

The sculptures can be viewed on Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st streets. (Read more)

- Oh, Lord, this would be amusing if it were not for it being the evidence of the questionable policies of some heavy-handed politicians. Lord, deliver us from the threat of this virus and the extreme measures that have had to be taken. Move sovereignly among us to bring miraculous healings and move hearts to trust in You as Savior.

- "And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased." (John 6:2)

8. Trump To Suspend Visas Through End Of The Year - The Daily Wire

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order suspending foreign worker visas until December 31, 2020, Department of Homeland Security guidance obtained by the Daily Caller shows.

The new executive order is expected to go into effect at 11:59 PM ET on Monday, June 22. The order will suspend H-1B visas, H-2B visas, certain J visas, and L visas. The order will carve out exceptions for lawful permanent residents, foreign workers who are essential to the U.S. food supply, and any spouse or child of a U.S. citizen. Additionally, the order will also grant Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf the authority to admit any alien whose entry they deem would be in the national interest. (Read more)

- Father, thank you for a president who truly takes the needs of the American people to heart and that, because of his executive order, American workers will not face unfair competition. We ask that you match unemployed citizens to the best job for them; make a way where there seems to be no way, especially for small business owners who feel they have lost everything.

- But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear though [stacks of bills] assail me on every side. (Psalm 3:2-6)

This poor man called out, and the Lord heard him; He saved him from all his troubles. (Psalm 34:6)

9. Stephanie Grisham Says Network Host's Comments About Barron Trump On Father's Day Are 'Inappropriate And Insensitive' - The Daily Caller

Melania Trump's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said Food Network host John Henson's comments about Barron Trump on Father's Day were "inappropriate and insensitive." "Sadly we continue to see inappropriate and insensitive comments about the President's son [Barron Trump]," Grisham shared in a statement Monday to the Daily Caller.

Grisham's comments come following a tweet from Henson on Father's Day questioning whether President Donald Trump is Barron's father. The post was noted by The Daily Wire.

"I hope Barron [Trump] gets to spend today with whoever his dad is," the 52-year-old TV host and stand-up comic tweeted Sunday to his thousands of followers. (Read more)

- Lord Jesus, we bring precious Barron before You and ask that You reassure him and heal any wounds inflicted on his mind, soul and spirit by the highly inappropriate words of this unscrupulous man. May those words have no power and be washed away forever by Your river of love and healing. We place John Henson in Your hands, Father, to deal with as You see fit.

The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit. (Proverbs 15:4)

10. All COVID vaccines using aborted-baby stem cells, group warns - WND

As the Trump administration expresses optimism about the development of a vaccine for the coronvirus, a religious-liberty group is warning that the top vaccines under development are made with "aborted baby cell lines."

The vaccines are not from aborted fetuses but from aborted baby cell lines used by researchers, says Liberty Counsel, which is running a campaign urging members of Congress and governors to oppose a government plan to force vaccinations.

"As an American citizen who loves my country, my Constitution and my right to refuse forced vaccinations, I urge you to end all consideration of mandatory vaccinations," Liberty Counsel says.

President Trump said the Department of Defense and Department of Health and Human Services hopes to deliver 300 million coronavirus vaccines by Jan. 1, 2021. Vaccine development and testing programs by Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and AstraZeneca already are in trials or preparing to begin. (Read more)

- Oh God! This is so reprehensible! Would you please intervene and cause every single aborted baby cell in these vaccine efforts to utterly self-destruct. There is no reason on God's earth for anyone to benefit from the cell of a God-given life that was destroyed. Let any vaccine come righteously. In Jesus name.

"For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." (Romans 14:8)

While the world fears COVID, prophecy advances

The world is in chaos. Antifa and other Marxist groups are stirring violence in America and Europe. China and India are clashing on their borders. China has infected the world with a tremendous pestilence that shut down and crippled the most robust economies across the globe. Israel's government is in turmoil. Turkey has been bombing northern Iraq and is in conflict with Libya. The UN's International Atomic Energy Agency has reprimanded Iran for covertly developing both nuclear weapons and missile delivery systems. In Nigeria, Islamic terrorists, Boko Haram and the Fulani are committing genocide on Christians. These events could be tied into the end time prophecies of the Bible, but the end is not yet.

While America's eyes have been focused on COVID-19, the prophecy clock has moved forward. There are many Christian teachers and preachers teaching that we are now living in the biblical tribulation (Send them money and they will tell you more). They are deceived. We are not yet living in the time more accurately depicted as Jacob's Troubles. But these current events may well be the precursor to that time. In the most chronologically ordered description of what will happen in the end of days, Christ began in Matthew 24:4 by saying, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Then he went on to describe the events of the end times. He said there will be wars, rumors of wars, pestilences, earthquakes, false christs and false prophets, but the end is not yet, these are what he described as the beginning of sorrows.

In Daniel 8:19, Gabriel says, "Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be. The ram which you saw having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia." Strong's Concordance interprets the word "Grecia" in Hebrew as "Yavan, a son of Japheth (the third son of Noah)," his descendants and their land." The Genesis 10 table of nations indicates this area was not only Greece (as Bible interpretations imply), but also the Eastern Mediterranean, including key parts of today's Turkey. Noah's grandsons Gomer, Magog, Meshech, Tubal are specifically mentioned in Ezekiel 38 as part of a coalition led by Gog of Magog against Israel. Currently, Iran has control over much of Iraq and Syria. Turkey is challenging that control.

For Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 8 to be fulfilled, Iran (Persia) must submit to Turkey's (Magog, Meshech, Tubal) leadership against Israel. Currently, these major prophetic actors are in turmoil. Turkey is in contention with Libya and Iraq. Iran is aggressively trying to build nuclear weapons and is a major disruptor nation in Syria. Islam continues to persecute Jews and Christians. Israel is divided politically and is considering a US-brokered agreement to divide its land with the "Palestinians." As these events develop, Christians and Jews should keep their eyes open. When you recognize the "beast" (antichrist) arising from among these actors, you will know that the time is near, even at the door.

A return to the ancient paths: a nation divided

Given the already nasty nature of the current political climate and the mind-boggling issues facing the United States, the outcome of the upcoming elections is going to have a pivotal impact on the future of our nation and our families. Unfortunately, there are few who will stand up for what is right, and when they do, the news media, the cancel culture, and the political opposition cry loud and hard. It is arguable that we have become a nation where morality, common sense, respect for others, and kindness have been replaced by moral relativism, political intolerance, and ideological bigotry. Given, however, the immense challenges we face as a people, many wonder if we can survive as a nation.

Christ said in Matthew 12:25, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand." He later says in verse 39. "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." Politicians are trying to consolidate their power by pitting class against class, black against white, conservative against liberal, have nots against haves, women against men, and children against parents. They are trying to divide rather than unite. If you do not understand, just look at the television ads for anything from politics to humanitarianism. Little is being said about how to unite together to fix problems. A lot of finger pointing.

Many believe with good reason that this nation is on the verge of a civil war. Everybody has an opinion, but there are few solutions. Those who have an opinion are marginalized as hate mongers or extremists or both. This kind of divisive rhetoric only further drives wedges into disagreement. But the problem is far deeper than the ranting of political opponents. Informed citizens should be able to discern between truth and lies. The real problem is what Christ said that "he that is not with me is against me." The nation as a whole is not with Christ. So many memorialize sodomy, abortion, covetousness, idolatry, lies, and false teachings by "judging not lest we be judged." Using the Bible to justify abomination.

We need to get back to finding what God wants for us. The first part of Jeremiah 6:16 says, "Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask about the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls." This is good advice. If we as a people could find it in ourselves to find the good way on the ancient path, we would be on the way to healing ourselves, our families, our communities, and our nation. Unfortunately, like in Jeremiah's time, our nation is so divided, the resolve of the people is as in the second part of Jeremiah 6:16, "But they said, We will not walk in it." The new normal is that America is divided and, in my opinion, it's because she is separated from her true savior, Christ.

A Message from Israel

A Message from Israel:

Sent in by Carolyn Hyde

www.carolynhydemusic.com

Dear Sara,

A strong impression came while praying into the annexation of Judea and the Samaria. I saw a pair of hands gathering soil into a test tube. Then there were other hands doing the same thing. These test tubes were part of a broader experiment and also considered trophies to be exhibited on the wall of some people's dens.

So I asked the L-rd what this could mean and He showed me Joshua 5:13-14: When Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua approached him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies? "

"Neither," he replied. "I have now come as commander of the L-rd's army."

And I sensed that the L-rd is not pleased with Netanyahu nor Gantz and He's also not pleased with what the USA and other nations are doing in the background.

The admonition from Joel 3:1-3 came to mind and I sensed Him saying, "Of course the Land belongs to Me and it will be inherited by My people but not in this way, by the political ambitions and the prideful plans of men."

And I felt a lamentation on how the L-rd is so grieved over how people are treating His Land...

————
Dear Carolyn, We, too, are sensing a deep "woe" in our spirits today, and just like Joshua did, we take off our shoes and release the results of these talks to the care of our God.

May His will -- and His will only -- be done.

SCOTUS Alert!

SCOTUS alert!

"Louisiana Case" still pending before the Court; ruling to be released this week.

All eyes on Roberts ahead of Supreme Court's abortion ruling

Chief Justice John Roberts is under the microscope as the Supreme Court prepares to issue its first major ruling on abortion rights in the Trump era, which will give the clearest indication yet of the court's willingness to revisit protections that were first granted in Roe v. Wade.

The tie-breaking vote may rest with Roberts, and the case stands to test his role as the court's new ideological center as well as his allegiance to past rulings.

. . . the abortion rights case differs from the others in a key respect. Whereas the LGBT and DACA disputes asked the justices to interpret the meaning of federal law, the Louisiana case asks the justices to weigh their own past rulings on abortion.

Roberts's image as an "institutionalist" justice dedicated to honoring prior Supreme Court opinions, especially recent ones, is now on the line.

One ruling in particular - the court's 2016 decision in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt - looms large over the Louisiana case. It also raises the stakes for the reputations of both Roberts and the court.

. . . As a result of changes to the court's ideological makeup, the Louisiana case may be a bellwether for the future of abortion protections in the Trump era. A decision to uphold the Louisiana law could signal the court's willingness to rein in abortion rights that emerged in the court's landmark 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade. (The Hill)

The Abortion Industry Does Not Speak for Me - TownHall

"It is 2020 and women can speak for themselves" is a common theme in the mainstream media of today.

Nearly every time we turn on a television or scroll through social media, we are bombarded with this pro-feminist messaging. This year alone, there will be millions of dollars in political advertisement promoting this concept. Yet, the very same people are trying to say they speak for women in the Louisiana Unsafe Abortion Act case currently before the Supreme Court. Our answer is no, you do not.  (Read more)

- Father God, we REPENT for the fact that abortion is still legal in our land. We CRY OUT for the souls of the almost 60 million babies who have died in the womb. May God have mercy upon us!

We lift up the Supreme Court Justices this week as they prepare to render the decision on the "Louisiana case." We ask for a miracle, Lord . . . that they would rule in favor of LIFE, in Jesus' Holy Name, amen.

Prayers for the Persecuted Church

Persecution Watch Group Unveils Plaque Commemorating 'The Unknown Martyrs of Communism'

Voice of the Martyrs Korea, an NGO which ministers to persecuted Christians worldwide, held a press conference today to unveil a plaque on its Martyrs Timeline commemorating "The Unknown Martyrs of Communism" and to officially release its new booklet, "Communism Is Not Dead", an educational resource for Christians and churches.

"Since 1921, an estimated 25 to 30 million Christians have been killed so far by atheist and Marxist regimes because of their faith, according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary," says Voice of the Martyrs Korea Representative Dr. Hyun Sook Foley.

"We should also remember that today more than 3 billion people still live in countries where Christians face Communist oppression. Martyrs continue to lay down their lives in these places even now."

FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST MY SAVIOR

"Now we see but a poor reflection . . . then we shall see face to face."
(1 Corinthians 13:12)

Lyrics

Face to face with Christ, my Savior,
Face to face-what will it be,
When with rapture I behold Him,
Jesus Christ who died for me?

Refrain

Face to face I shall behold Him,
Far beyond the starry sky;
Face to face in all His glory,
I shall see Him by and by!

Only faintly now I see Him,
With the darkened veil between,
But a blessèd day is coming,
When His glory shall be seen.

Refrain

What rejoicing in His presence,
When are banished grief and pain;
When the crooked ways are straightened,
And the dark things shall be plain.

Refrain

Face to face-oh, blissful moment!
Face to face-to see and know;
Face to face with my Redeemer,
Jesus Christ who loves me so.

Major quake hits southern Mexico, triggers local Pacific tsunami

A powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.4 struck the coast of southern Mexico on Tuesday, killing at least one person, buckling paved roads, and setting off a tsunami in nearby Pacific coastal areas.

One person died in the state of Oaxaca, Governor Alejandro Murat said, after the quake hit the Pacific coastal state mid-morning.

The country's seismological service said a tsunami on the Oaxaca coast was ongoing, with the sea level having risen 60 centimeters (2 feet) at Huatulco beach, a popular destination for U.S. and Canadian tourists.

Mexico's civil protection agency recommended that residents move away from the coastline. Videos on social media showed the ocean's water receding in Oaxaca, a mountainous state that is also home to coffee plantations and Spanish colonial architecture.

Miguel Candelaria, 30, was working at his computer in his family home in the Oaxaca town of Juchitan when the ground began to tremble. He ran outside with relatives, but they had to stop in the middle of the street as the pavement buckled and rocked.

"We couldn't walk. . . the street was like chewing gum," said Candelaria, 30.

Neighbors screamed in terror and some shouted out warnings to run from the electricity poles that looked poised to fall, said Candelaria, who works in telecommunications marketing.

'None More Vulnerable Than the Unborn' ; Tennessee's Governor Will Sign Heartbeat Abortion Ban

[ChristianHeadlines.com] Tennessee's governor is pledging to sign a recently passed bill that bans abortions when a fetal heartbeat is detected and also prohibits abortions based on sex, race or a Down syndrome diagnosis.

The legislation, House Bill 2263 and Senate Bill 2196, passed the Tennessee House of Representatives 70-20 and the Senate 23-5, and now awaits action by Gov. Bill Lee, a Republican who championed the bill earlier this year and confirmed in a tweet he will sign it. He also thanked legislators who promoted it.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

Reading the Bible Together

WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!

"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)

> > > Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week!! ALL NIGHT LONG!

We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]

Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075. The access code is: 206425#.

Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."

Hallelujah!!

Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!

In closing, let us decree together that . . .

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

AMEN!!

Reminder!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075.
The access code is: 206425#.

And . . . once again . . . welcome!
