President Trump Visits Kenosha
President Trump Visits Kenosha
President Trump went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, today. The community endured several days of violent rioting after the shooting of Jacob Blake. As is often the case, initial reports did not tell the whole story.
Joined by Attorney General William Barr and Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, the president toured areas of the city devastated by rioting and participated in a roundtable event on community safety.
The roundtable event was attended by local leaders and several business owners whose companies were destroyed by the riots. The president praised the National Guard and local law enforcement, and promised to provide financial support to the affected businesses and their employees. Trump said:
"Kenosha has been ravaged by anti-police and anti-American riots. Violent mobs damaged at least 25 businesses. . . These are not acts of peaceful protests but domestic terror. . .
"To stop the political violence, we must confront the radical ideology that supports it. . . We must give far greater support to our law enforcement. . . We can't be threatening them. . .
"We cherish our law enforcement. . . We have to condemn dangerous anti-police rhetoric. It's very unfair. . . The vast and overwhelming majority of police officers are honorable, courageous and devoted public servants. . . When allegations of police wrongdoing are reported, they must be fully and fairly investigated. And that's what we're doing."
The president also denounced efforts to defund the police and coddle criminals, and he promised to help Kenosha rebuild with direct federal support to small businesses, law enforcement and aid to crime victims.

Focus on Israel
1. At least 3 reported killed during suspected Israeli strikes in southern Syria - Times of Israel
The Israeli military launched a number of missiles at targets in southern Syria late Monday night, killing at least three people, according to Syrian state media with reports.
The official SANA news outlet said that two Syrian soldiers were killed and seven wounded in the attack. A civilian woman was also killed and her husband was wounded in a town just south of Damascus during the attack, the report said.
Syrian opposition media Aleppo Today reported that the woman - identified as Matalla al-Sarhan - and her husband's home in al-Haijaneh was hit by a Syrian military anti-aircraft missile, not by an Israeli bomb. This was not confirmed by Syrian officials.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, linked to the country's opposition, put the death toll far higher at 11: one civilian, three government soldiers and seven allied foreign fighters, among them Iran-backed paramilitary fighters. No other news outlets in Syria have reported a similar death toll, and Syrian war analysts have questioned the accuracy of the observatory's reports.
2. First Financial MoU Signed bet. Israel, UEA; Top Ayatollah Frustrated - Jewish Press
The first Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Tuesday between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in the fields of banking and finance. This while Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that the UAE has betrayed the Islamic world, the Arab states, the regional countries, and Palestine, by letting the Zionist regime into the region.
The Deputy Director General of Israel's Prime Minister's Office, Ronen Peretz, and the Governor of the UAE Bank, Abdul Hamid Said, signed the agreement document, according to which a joint committee will be established to promote cooperation in the field of finance and investment.
The two sides will discuss later, among other things, lowering financial barriers to investments between the countries, promoting joint investments in the capital markets, promoting cooperation in banking services and payment regulation.
All of the above will be carried out in keeping with international standards, including in the area of combating money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities.
3. 'Treachery and treason': Iran threatens UAE on heels of Israeli visit - World Israel News
Jared Kushner and U.S. officials visited a major air base in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, speaking to Emirati and American pilots on the tarmac, as Iran's supreme leader called the UAE's recognition of Israel "treason that will not last for long."
State media in Iran broadcast Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's remarks, which referred the UAE's recognition of Israel as a "stain" on the country.
"The United Arab Emirates committed treachery against either the Islamic world or Arab nations and regional countries, as well as Palestine," Khamenei said. "The treason will not last for long."
The U.S.-brokered deal to establish diplomatic relations between Israel and the UAE reflects a changing Middle East in which shared concerns about the Iranian threat have overtaken traditional Arab support for the Palestinians.
4. Report: Israel, United Arab Emirates to set up joint intel base off coast of Somalia - Israel National News
Israel and UAE reportedly planning to establish a joint intelligence base on an island off the coasts of Yemen and Somalia. (Watch)
5. Israel, Hamas Agree to Restore Calm Along Gaza Border - Algemeiner
Israel and Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip agreed to end a weeks-long escalation of unrest along the border, it was announced on Monday.
Under the deal, brokered by a Qatari envoy, Hamas would end the launching of incendiary balloons, and Israel would end air strikes, said a Palestinian official close to the mediation.
COGAT, Israel's liaison agency to the Palestinian territories, confirmed that after security consultations led by Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Gaza's main goods crossing would reopen and fishermen would be allowed back to work, up to 15 nautical miles.
A COGAT statement said the decisions were "subject to the continuation of the calm and the security stability" but warned that if Hamas failed to deliver, Israel would "act accordingly."
6. Waqf fills hole on Temple Mount, possibly hiding archaeological treasures - Jerusalem Post
The Waqf filled in a hole that opened in the Temple Mount floor with concrete on Tuesday, raising concerns that possible archaeological findings may now be lost.
The hole opened up near the Mughrabi Gate in the southwestern section of the Temple Mount on Sunday, according to the Waqf. The Mughrabi Gate is the gate used by all non-Muslims to enter the Temple Mount plaza.
The hole was about 1ft. (30cm.) by 1.3ft. (40cm.) wide and about 2.3ft. (70cm.) deep and located about 13ft. (4m.) from the Western Wall and 39ft. (12m.) from the southern wall.
An adviser for the Waqf stated that the hole was most likely a water conduit.
The Temple Mount Organizations demanded that a proper archaeological restoration be conducted at the site, but the hole was filled with concrete by the Waqf on Tuesday, according to Army Radio.
6. US, Israeli Delegations Make Historic Direct Flight to UAE - CBN
JERUSALEM, Israel - El Al flight 971 will make history Monday morning as it carries Israeli and American delegations from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi where leaders will finalize the peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
It is the first El-Al flight from Israel to the UAE and the first Israeli plane to fly over Saudi airspace. The word "peace" was painted above the pilot's-side window in Hebrew, English, and Arabic in honor of the agreement.
Captain Tal Becker, who has been a pilot for 45 years, told reporters he never expected he would fly to Abu Dhabi and said it was a "very special feeling."
President Donald Trump's senior advisor and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is leading the US delegation alongside National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, US Middle East envoy Avi Berkowitz, and other officials.

1. Director Of National Intelligence Cancels Verbal Election Security Briefings - NPR
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has informed Senate and House intelligence committees that it will no longer brief Congress in person on foreign efforts to interfere in the November election.
In a letter to congressional leaders Friday, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said his office will instead "primarily meet its obligation to keep Congress fully and currently informed leading into the Presidential election through written finished intelligence products."
In a joint statement released Saturday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Congress had been set for briefings on election security in mid-September. But briefings for members of Congress, including the House and Senate intelligence committees, by Ratcliffe's office have now been called off, they said. (Read more) (Read more)
- Father, thank you for the Director of National Intelligence standing up boldly for righteousness in the face of many adversaries. We ask You to protect and defend him and his team and all others who will not bow down to accusations and nasty epithets. May there be a dismantling of injustices and a removing of devious plots and plans. In Jesus name.

2. Church says Los Angeles County plans to take parking lot in retaliation for services amid Covid - Fox News
A Los Angeles County church says it is being evicted from land that has been used as a parking lot for 45 years, in what the church's lawyers say is retaliation for its decision to hold indoor worship services during the coronavirus pandemic.
Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, Calif., which is about 20 miles north of Los Angeles, said it received a letter from the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works on Friday, informing them that they are being evicted from a parcel of land the church has used continuously since 1975.
If the church fails to vacate the premise by Oct. 1, the letter says, the district may enter the premises and remove Grace's personal property, and Grace will be responsible for any district expenses. Grace Community Church has been holding in-person worship services in violation of California Gov. Gavin Newsom's orders that churches suspend indoor services during the pandemic, the Christian Post reported. (Read more)

3. Pence told to be on standby to assume powers during Trump's abrupt Walter Reed visit: book - Fox News
Vice President Pence was told to be on standby to assume presidential powers during President Trump's abrupt visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last year, according to New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt's upcoming book obtained by CNN. Schmidt wrote that he learned "in the hours leading up to Trump's trip to the hospital, word went out in the West Wing for the vice president to be on standby to take over the powers of the presidency temporarily if Trump had to undergo a procedure that would have required him to be anesthetized."
At the time, the White House said the president underwent a "quick exam and labs" as part of his annual physical exam preparing for "a very busy 2020." The president tweeted after his visit that his health was "very good (great!)" and that he would finish the exam in 2020.
Trump's physician, Navy Cmdr. Sean Conley, countered the speculation in a statement days after the visit, saying Trump "has not had any chest pain, nor was he evaluated or treated for any urgent or acute issues." He said the trip was not announced due to "scheduling uncertainties." (Read more)
- Loving Father, we thank You for Your hand of good health upon our President and Vice-President and that they both know and trust You. Irrespective of the "routine" expected, we thank You that our top two leaders follow their own protocol in all that they do. We bless VP Pence for being always there for our President and standing ready to bless at a moment's notice.

4. Foundation With Biden Campaign Ties Funding Leftist Agitators On U.S. Streets - The Federalist
Last Sunday, the site of the Republican National Convention in Charlotte witnessed a night of violence leading to at least five arrests. Since Friday, Black Lives Matter activists terrorized the Queen City, including beating police officers, in an effort to intimidate GOP attendees and business owners.
By contrast, the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee brought only a small gathering of peaceful activists, who declared: "We decided that it would make sense for us to make the emphasis of our action the one point of unity that deals with police crimes."
Claiming to be America's second-largest private foundation, the Ford Foundation has poured almost $2 billion into groups active in "disrupting systems to advance social justice," according to its grant database. The Ford Foundation boasts key members of the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaign as alumni executives. Harris's sister and ex-campaign chairwoman Maya Harris served as the Ford foundation's vice president alongside Biden's now senior advisor, Cristóbal Alex, who served as its program director during the Obama presidency. 5. 'Death To America!': BLM Protesters Echo Iran During March Through Oakland, Calif. - The Daily Wire
Hundreds of Black Lives Matter protesters marched through the streets of Oakland, Calif., last Wednesday chanting "death to America." Rioters among the crowd also set fires and broke into several businesses while vandalizing others, according to police. Video of the protest along with the anti-American chant went viral across Twitter on Sunday.
"This wasn't widely reported. On Wednesday night, around 700 black bloc militants and their supporters rampaged through Oakland, Cal. They chanted 'death to America' while starting fires and smashing cars and buildings," The Post Millennial Editor-at-Large Andy Ngo said.
"600-700 people took part in violent & destructive protests Wed. night. numerous fires set, dozens of windows broken, multiple businesses vandalized. Protesters threw objects at officers, thankfully no officers were injured. Several people arrested," OPD said.(Read more)

6. DC Circuit court rules against Flynn case dismissal - Fox News
The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in an 8-2 decision that D.C. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan does not have to grant prosecutors' motion to dismiss the criminal case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
The en banc review by the full court (minus Judge Gregory Katsas, who recused himself) reverses the decision of a three-judge panel, which had issued a writ of mandamus ordering Sullivan to toss the case. Flynn had argued that Sullivan overstepped his authority by appointing a third-party amicus curiae (friend of the court) to argue against dismissal, even though Flynn and the Justice Department agreed to dispose of the case.
Judge Neomi Rao argued in a dissenting opinion that Sullivan is acting improperly because "it is long settled that a district court cannot supervise the prosecutorial decisions of the Executive Branch." In a separate dissent, Judge Karen Henderson stated that Sullivan should have been disqualified from the case because his "conduct patently draws his impartiality into question." (Read more)
- Father God, we repent for this ruling, and we ask for a supernatural level of strength and endurance to infuse Michael Flynn's very frame. We thank You, Lord, that You WILL vindicate the righteous, in Your name, amen.

7. Obama counseled 'a small group' of NBA players amid boycotts - CNN
Before NBA players decided to resume playing, National Basketball Players Association President Chris Paul reached out to Barack Obama, a person familiar with the call told CNN, and asked the former President if he would offer his counsel to a group of NBA players.
The source also confirmed that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was on the call. It was Paul, the source said, who organized the discussion.
News of the call was first reported by Shams Charania, who reports for both The Athletic and Stadium. "They discussed establishing a social justice committee to ensure that the players' and league's actions this week led to sustained, meaningful engagement on criminal justice and police reform." The NBA began postponing games this week after the Milwaukee Bucks decided to boycott their playoff game in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake in the team's home state. (Read more)

8. Antifa Website Redirects to Joe Biden's Campaign Donation Page - Gateway Pundit
The url Antifa.com now redirects to Joe Biden's campaign donation page. Biden embraced the riots and destruction until they began to do poorly in the polls.
In May, Biden released a statement in which he said that "every person of conscience can understand the rawness of the trauma people of color experience in this country, from the daily indignities to the extreme violence, like the horrific killing of George Floyd."
In an interview with MSNBC on Thursday, Biden said, "I condemn violence in any form, whether it's looting or whatever it is."
President Donald Trump and other members of the GOP have been pointing out that the Democrat's pivot to condemn the violence is too little, too late. (Read more)

9. FBI, DOJ announce sweeping new FISA reforms in aftermath of Russia debacle - Just The News
Seeking to address massive failures during the Russia probe, FBI Director Chris Wray and Attorney General William Barr announced Tuesday sweeping new reforms to ensure future warrants targeting Americans under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act are accurate, legal and free from political influence.
The changes include the creation of a new audit office to review FISA applications and new vetting to ensure the accuracy of agents' evidence when seeking to spy on U.S. citizens. The Justice Department also created new protocol governing when surveillance can be conducted on elected officials and candidates for office.
The changes, memorialized in two separate memos, are an outgrowth of a DOJ inspector general report last December that identified 17 instances of misconduct, erroneous evidence, factual omissions and mistakes in the pursuit of a FISA application targeting former Trump adviser Carter Page during the Russia collusion investigation. Last month, a former FBI lawyer pleaded guilty to falsifying evidence during the probe. (Read more)

10. Recent arrests illustrate creeping Chinese infiltration of U.S. academic institutions - Just The News
The recent arrest of Indiana University doctoral student Zhao Kaikai provides dramatic new evidence of the ongoing infiltration of U.S. universities by scholarly researchers with undisclosed ties to China.
"The overriding issue in dealing with China is the lack of transparency by those who have a relationship with China while at U.S. universities and doing scientific and scholarly research for China," says Scott Kennedy, senior adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
FBI agents kept Zhao under surveillance before his July 18 arrest, following him as he came and went between his apartment and the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at the University of Indiana in Bloomington.
Zhao was indicted and charged in federal court on Aug. 4 for lying on his visa application and lying to U.S. government officials about his connection to the Chinese government.
The indictment states that Zhao met with officials from the Consulate of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on July 17 and then lied to FBI agents the following day. The indictment alleges that Zhao "was a member of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), and made false statements concerning that military service to conceal the true nature and purpose of his educational pursuits in the United States" and "remains an active member of the PLA." Accusing others of what they are doing
Tuesday, September 1, 2020
Imagine what would happen in the media if President Trump or a prominent conservative or Christian suggested that there be no presidential debate or that whatever the outcome of the presidential election, it would not be accepted. Just the suggestion that President Trump would wait and see how the election vote unfolded has once again prompted the media to serve up images of Hitler, fascism and tyranny. But remember in 2016 when Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton made a big deal of Trump potentially not accepting the results of the election, then when she lost, she sued to contest the election? Accuse others of what you are thinking or doing-that's the socialist doctrine. And it's repeating.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) essentially got a pass from the media when she suggested there be no presidential debates. At an August 27 news conference, Pelosi said, "I don't think that there should be any debates. I wouldn't legitimize a conversation with him [Trump], nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States. So I think that he'll probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency; he does that every day. But I think it will also belittle what the debates are supposed to be about. And they're not to be about skullduggery on the part of somebody who has no respect for the office he holds, much less the democratic process." This is in alignment with socialist doctrine of suppressing free speech if it doesn't agree with you. Accuse others of what you are thinking or doing.
On August 24, failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who accused Trump of intentions to not accept the results of the 2016 election if he lost, advised leftist Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden not to concede the election. Clinton speaking on Showtime's "The Circus," said, "Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances. Because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he [Biden] will win, if we don't give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is." Clinton claimed that Trump was trying to use vote by mail to steal the election and vowed: "We've got to have a massive legal operation. And I know the Biden campaign is working on that." Again, accuse others of what you are thinking or doing.
This hypocrisy goes largely unreported by the media. Instead of pointing out the intent to suppress free speech, the media just allows statements to stand about ending the traditional American political exercise of presidential debates. Instead of demanding an explanation about usurping the Constitutionally-mandated transition of presidential power, the media allows to stand a veiled threat of government overthrow. This is irresponsible. It is also the highest level of hypocrisy demonstrated by political leaders. Romans 2:1 says, "Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things." Of course, they may justify accusing others of what they are doing is "Biblical." They who call evil good and good evil. And they do.
Whose Violence?
Whose Violence?
By Gary Bauer
Yesterday we told you that the left was attempting to change the narrative about the rioting that has taken place in the past three months. The left claims that "It's all Trump's fault" and "It's happening in Trump's America."
It will stop if Joe Biden is elected, or so Biden says. That sounds like a threat: "Vote for me and the rioting will end." Is Biden attempting to hold the country hostage?
As absurd as this new narrative is, the left is going all out to convince you not to believe your own eyes. MSNBC's Joy Reid suggested that the real threat came from conservative Second Amendment supporters. While Trump supporters have guns, "Black Lives Matter kids have skateboards and a bull horn," she insisted.
Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) suggested that the rioting was being done by white supremacists. Just because many of the rioters are white, Democrat politicians assume they must be Trump supporters.
The idea that conservatives are responsible for the rioting in the Democrat-dominated cities of Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle and Washington, D.C., is sheer lunacy. Conservatives are not trying to burn down federal courthouses or private businesses. They are not blockading ICE offices or setting up "autonomous zones."
. . . Meanwhile, President Trump is calling for law and order, and urging calm.
Yesterday, the president reminded Laura Ingraham that he has repeatedly offered to mobilize the National Guard and deploy other federal law enforcement agents to end the violence, but Democrat politicians have repeatedly refused offers of federal help.
Ingraham asked the president if he wanted his supporters to confront the rioters and he said, "Oh, I don't want them to. Leave it to law enforcement."

White House rips D.C. plan to remove Washington Monument,
Jefferson Memorial
The White House slammed Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser on Tuesday night for a "ludicrous" plan to remove, relocate or "contextualize" the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial and other monuments in the nation's capital.
"By publishing a plan that recommends potentially removing the Washington Monument, Christopher Columbus Statue, Andrew Jackson Statue, and Jefferson Memorial-among many other ludicrous recommendations - the radically liberal mayor of Washington, D.C., is repeating the same left-wing narrative used to incite dangerous riots: demolishing our history and destroying our great heritage," said White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
She said "as long as President Trump is in the White House, the mayor's irresponsible recommendations will go absolutely nowhere, and as the mayor of our Nation's capital city - a city that belongs to the American people - she ought to be ashamed for even suggesting them for consideration."
President Trump "believes these places should be preserved, not torn down; respected, not hated; and passed on for generations to come," she said.
The District of Columbia Facilities and Commemorative Expressions working group said it was tasked with evaluating whether statues and memorials in the city should be removed or contextualized if the historical figures they represent participated in "slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of, or actions that suppressed equality for, persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right Act."
It recommended that Ms. Bowser, a Democrat and a member of the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission, support the removal or "contextualization" of eight statutes or monuments, including the iconic ones on the National Mall.
Ms. Bowser said she would be guided by the recommendations as she moved forward.
The White House said Washington, D.C., "is rightly filled with countless markers, memorials, and statues to honor and respect the men and women who built this country."

Educating Patriots
Educating Patriots
By Gary Bauer
For many years now, I have been warning against the "anti-American history" our children are learning in our public schools. More recently, we have sounded the alarm on the 1619 Project from the New York Times. In yesterday's report, we specifically called out the radical "ethnic studies" program that California bureaucrats are pushing in the Golden State.
I am pleased to report that President Trump raised the issue of American education yesterday during his White House press briefing, echoing many of our concerns. He said:
"What we're witnessing today is a result of left-wing indoctrination in our nation's schools and universities. Many young Americans have been fed lies about America being a wicked nation plagued by racism. . .
"The left's war on police, faith, history, and American values is tearing our country apart. . . The only path to unity is to rebuild a shared national identity focused on common American values and virtues, of which we have plenty. This includes restoring patriotic education in our nation's schools. . ."
- Father God, we thank You that many are now being made aware of the dangerous indoctrination of the 1619 project in the public schools. As light continues to overcome darkness, we pray that more and more citizens and educators would be alerted to this dangerous curriculum which totally distorts American history. Deliver us from this evil, we pray, amen.
- "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5)
Warning from Franklin Graham
Franklin Graham warns socialist left will 'close the Church down':
'The storm is coming'
Prominent evangelical leader Franklin Graham says that the Democratic Party is "opposed to faith" and warns that the left will "close the Church down in many places" should the United States fall into the embrace of socialism.
Graham, the president of Samaritan's Purse and the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, sat down with CBN News correspondent David Brody last Friday to discuss the Democratic and Republican conventions that took place over the past two weeks.
He also discussed his upcoming Washington Prayer March that will take place at the end of September in Washington, D.C.
"The Democrats, if anything, they are opposed to faith," Graham asserted after being asked to compare and contrast the major parties' positions on faith.
"The Democrats have taken God pretty much . . . out of government," he added, later stating that the changes that "the left want to make and take us into socialism is going to affect the Church."
"The government will . . . begin to tell the Church how [it] can be the Church and they'll close the Church down in many places," Graham warned. "We see right now because of COVID, the government trying to tell the Church that they can not meet and the Constitution gives us that freedom to do that. But because of COVID, they said we can't meet."
. . . Considering that some believe Trump was anointed to the presidency by God, Graham was asked what it would mean if the Democrats win on Nov. 3.
"I think God brought him here for this season - for these for years," Graham explained. "I am just asking that God would spare this country, for another four years, to give us a little bit more time to do the work before the storm hits. I believe the storm is coming."
"You are going to see Christians attacked, you are going to see churches close and you are going to see a real hatred expressed toward people of faith. That is coming," Graham continued. "Jesus told us. He said, 'You will be hated by all people because of me.' And if we are going to stand for the name of Christ, the world will hate us."

Chadwick Boseman Was a Christian Who Quoted Scripture, Told Students 'God Predestined' Their Future
The late actor Chadwick Boseman captivated audiences with his roles in films such as Black Panther, 42 and Marshall, but he never forgot the Christian faith that grounded his career.
Boseman, who died Aug. 28 of colon cancer at the age of 43, grew up in a Christian home and was baptized at Welfare Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C., where he sang in the choir.
A professing Christian, he often referenced Scripture and his faith in public. When honoring Denzell Washington at the 2019 AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony, Boseman paraphrased Ephesians 3:20 and told Washington, "May God bless you exceedingly and abundantly more for what's in store than He ever has before. God bless you." Years earlier, Washington had paid for Boseman to participate in a summer acting program in Oxford, England, according to Faithfully Magazine.
Boseman discussed his faith in more detail in 2018 during his commencement speech at Howard University, his alma mater.. . (Go here to read his testimoy.)
Boseman's former church mourned his passing in a Facebook post from current senior pastor Ankoma D. Anderson.
"It is with extreme sorrow that we mourn the death of our beloved Chadwick Boseman, who transitioned this evening," an Aug. 28 post from the church read. "This untimely loss deeply saddens our church. The Welfare Baptist Church will forever remember Chadwick as a homegrown talented young man who rose to superstardom and made us proud! As we mourn his death and grieve alongside his family, we ask that you keep the Boseman and Welfare Church family in your thoughts and prayers! Rest well, Black Panther; REST WELL!" A Classic Hymn
Classic Hymns
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS' NAME
"God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)
Lyrics
All hail the power of Jesus' name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre,
And as they tune it, fall
Before His face who tunes their choir,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Before His face who tunes their choir,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Crown Him, ye morning stars of light,
Who fixed this floating ball;
Now hail the strength of Israel's might,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Now hail the strength of Israel's might,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God,
Who from His altar call;
Extol the Stem of Jesse's rod,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse's rod,
And crown Him Lord of all.

Are We Heading for Another Carrington Event?
On Sept. 1st, 1859, the most ferocious solar storm in recorded history engulfed our planet. It was "the Carrington Event," named after British scientist Richard Carrington, who witnessed the flare that started it. The storm rocked Earth's magnetic field, sparked auroras over Cuba, the Bahamas and Hawaii, set fire to telegraph stations, and wrote itself into history books as the Biggest. Solar. Storm. Ever.
But, sometimes, what you read in history books is wrong.
"The Carrington Event was not unique," says Hisashi Hayakawa of Japan's Nagoya University, whose recent study of solar storms has uncovered other events of comparable intensity. "While the Carrington Event has long been considered a once-in-a-century catastrophe, historical observations warn us that this may be something that occurs much more frequently."
To generations of space weather forecasters who learned in school that the Carrington Event was one of a kind, these are unsettling thoughts. Modern technology is far more vulnerable to solar storms than 19th-century telegraphs. Think about GPS, the internet, and transcontinental power grids that can carry geomagnetic storm surges from coast to coast in a matter of minutes. A modern-day Carrington Event could cause widespread power outages along with disruptions to navigation, air travel, banking, and all forms of digital communication.
Are we overdue for another Carrington Event? Maybe. In fact, we might have just missed one.
In July 2012, NASA and European spacecraft watched an extreme solar storm erupt from the sun and narrowly miss Earth. "If it had hit, we would still be picking up the pieces," announced Daniel Baker of the University of Colorado at a NOAA Space Weather Workshop 2 years later. "It might have been stronger than the Carrington Event itself."
History books, let the re-write begin.

Replacing Riots with Revival:
Christian Movement Brings Baptism and Worship to Streets of Kenosha
Back in June, the movement started by Dr. Charles and Pastor Lindsey Karuku with the International Outreach Church in Burnsville, Minnesota took to the streets of Minneapolis to proclaim Jesus' name. Christians and non-believers came together at the location of George Floyd's memorial site where the Holy Spirit healed bodies and hearts as salvations, baptisms, and worship filled the streets.
Now Dr. Karuku is taking the "Riots to Revival" movement to the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin to help heal hearts and minds with the power of the gospel message.
In several Facebook posts on Friday, Karuku posted photos of people being baptized, praying, and worshipping together with the words, "Let the healing begin!
In one post, Karuku wrote: "MIRACLES IN KENOSHA: A massive move of God. Salvation, healing, racial reconciliation, and awesome baptisms on the streets. Riot to Revival. Glory to God!!! Let the healing begin!
On Thursday, a prayer gathering was held outside of the Kenosha City Courthouse. Video of the event posted to social media showed several hundred people gathered together to worship, pray and to hear a message from Pastor Karuku.
In another video, Eileen Berglund who owns a business in Kenosha talked about one of the signs that proved to her that the Holy Spirit was moving in her city.
"As baptisms were taking place, there was a little bit of a lull," she explained. "Then another woman came forward. Her name is Debbie."
Burglin said she and another ministry leader listened to the woman's testimony. The woman was across the street in an apartment building watching the event on Facebook Live.
"And she felt God or something tells her 'she had better answer and get her butt over here' is how she phrased it," Berglund continued. "So she kind of hobbled over here. She wasn't doing well. And then, she got baptized and worshipped with us. And then 20 minutes ago, she told us, 'Oh, my back pain is completely gone.
This is just the latest powerful example of Christians fighting a spiritual battle using street ministry in cities overrun with rioting, like Portland, Seattle, and Minneapolis. (CBN) Read more

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
