Trump to Nominate Amy Coney Barrett to SCOTUS
Report: Trump to nominate Amy Coney Barrett to Supreme Court
President Donald Trump will nominate federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court of the United States, multiple outlets reported Friday evening.
Sources close to the process said that Trump will announce Barrett as the Supreme Court nominee Saturday, according to the New York Times. Trump is not known to have met with any other candidate for the vacancy, the Times reported, noting that aides warned there is a possibility Trump could change his mind before the announcement.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump told congressional Republicans that he will choose Barrett, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Trump is expected to make the formal nomination Saturday. The White House declined to comment to the Daily Caller News Foundation. (Read more)
- Father God, as Your intercessors, we are careful to never report -- and pray over -- the news before it happens, but this time we will make an exception to that rule.
We thank You, dear Lord, for this potential news, and we pray even now for protection for Ms. Barrett, her husband and her five children. We thank You, O Lord, for placing this pro-life woman of God on the Supreme Court of the United States of America. HALLELUJAH! Amen.

Focus on Israel
1. Israel, UAE Cyber Chiefs Discuss Joining Forces to Combat Common Threats - Algemeiner
Israel and the United Arab Emirates share threats to their national online networks, the Israeli cyber-security chief said on Thursday in a rare public discussion of potential cooperation with his counterpart following the normalization of relations.
The establishment of formal Israel-UAE ties over the last month - spurred in part by common worries about Iran - unleashed a flurry of bilateral deals, including on cyber technologies, Israeli exports of which were valued at $6.5 billion in 2019.
"We are threatened by the same threats because of the nature of the region, because of the nature of our new, 'outed' relations and because of who we are - strong economically and technologically," Igal Unna, head of Israel's National Cyber Directorate, told UAE counterpart Mohamed al-Kuwaiti in an online conference.
"We see already things in fast progress and I am very optimistic that we have a lot in common and a lot to share."
2. Jordan, Egypt, France and Germany call for resumption of Israel-PA peace talks - Israel National News
The foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, France and Germany on Thursday urged Israel and Palestinian Arabs to engage in "credible dialogue" to restore "hope" to the peace process.
"Ending the stalemate in peace talks, the creation of political horizons and the restoration of hope through credible dialogue must be a priority," they said in a statement quoted by AFP.
The meeting comes after the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain formally established full diplomatic ties with Israel, the third and fourth Arab states to do so after Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994.
The Israel-Palestinian Authority (PA) peace process has been frozen since 2014, when PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas breached conditions of talks that were ongoing at the time by unilaterally joining international treaties and conventions.
3. 'I will never allow the establishment of a Palestinian State in the heartland of Israel' - Israel National News
Minister of Regional Cooperation Ofir Akunis spoke recently at the "Together for the Jordan Valley" event organized by the Holy Land Redemption Fund, and broadcast live on Arutz Sheva.
"Israel is the birthplace of both the Jewish and Christian faiths. It is the land where our patriarchs prayed, where our kings ruled, and where our prophets preached," said Akunis.
"By returning to our homeland, Israel is fulfilling prophecy. We returned to the desert and made it bloom again. We restored the ancient language of the Bible and made it speak again. And we rebuilt the ruins of Jerusalem and made them strong again".
"Recently, I had the honor of meeting the leaders of Israel's Christian communities at a summit at the President's Residence in Jerusalem. Israel is proud to be the one country in the Middle East where Christians both survive and thrive. Our Christian community is growing rapidly and flourishing," continued Akunis.
"Sadly," he noted, "this is not the case in Palestinian-controlled areas, where Christians have been persecuted for observing their faith. The number of Christians in the Palestinian Authority and in Gaza continues to drop and Christian worshippers are heavily restricted. This cannot continue. Israel stands with you."
4. Bahrain: We signed peace deal with Israel to guarantee 'no annexation of Palestinian lands' - World Israel News
The leader of Bahrain praised the recent peace agreements signed with Israel, telling the UN Wednesday that Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates agreed to the accords in exchange for Israel backing down from applying sovereignty over settlements.
"From of our keenness to preserve the security and stability of the region, and as an embodiment of our resolute approach to openness and coexistence with all, we have announced the establishment of relations with the State of Israel, sending a civilized message affirming that our hand is extended for a just and comprehensive peace, as it is the best guarantee for the future of all peoples of the region," King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa told the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
"In reaching [the] 'historic peace agreement' with Israel, under the auspices and efforts of the United States of America, in exchange for stopping Israel's annexation of the Palestinian lands, the UAE has enhanced opportunities for peace, reduced tensions, and given the people of the region a new era of understanding, rapprochement and peaceful coexistence, while preserving its firm position on the Palestinian issue," the monarch said.
King Hamad singled out the U.S., Saudi Arabia and Egypt for praise, noting that all three were involved in what he said were the efforts to promote peace and stability in the region, and called for "intensified efforts to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with the two-state solution."
5. With 7,527 New Cases, 1,378 Dead, Friday's 2 PM Lockdown to Continue through Simchat Torah - Jewish Press
The full lockdown for the remainder of the holidays begins Friday at 2 PM.
The Knesset's Constitution Committee is expected to approve the amendment to the Corona Law, which will be approved by the Knesset plenum on Friday morning.
As of Friday morning, with 60,524 tests, there are 7,527 new verified coronavirus patients. To date, Israel has seen 214,458 verified infections. Currently, there are 669 patients whose condition is severe, 167 of whom are on respirators. There have been 1,378 deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic.
In this context, some in Israel have said a total lockdown is much like unspecific, broad radiation for a cancer patient. It stops the spread of the disease, but there's a clear danger that the patient won't survive the treatment.
The countrywide lockdown that takes effect Friday at 2 PM will remain in effect for a little over two weeks - until Sunday, Oct. 11, which marks the end of the holiday season (Isru Hag). The restrictions will include a significant reduction of the economy, as only essential employees are allowed to go to work. Prayers and demonstrations will be limited to 20 individuals in marked "capsules," up to one kilometer from one's home. Public transportation will be reduced significantly.
6. Bahrain to UNGA: Peace with Israel was in exchange for halting annexation - Jerusalem Post
Bahrain had followed the example set by the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa said, as he lauded the UAE for its "courageous," "successful" and "blessed step" on behalf of regional peace.
Bahrain's establishment of peace with Israel has not quelled its pursuit of a two-state resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with east Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa told the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
"We have announced the establishment of relations with the State of Israel, sending a civilized message affirming that our hand is extended for a just and comprehensive peace, as it is the best guarantee for the future of all peoples of the region," he said in a virtual address to mark the opening of the 75th UNGA.
Bahrain had followed the example set by the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa said, as he lauded it for its "courageous," "successful" and "blessed step" on behalf of regional peace.
The UAE reached a "historic peace agreement" with Israel, under the auspices and efforts of the United States of America, in exchange for stopping Israel's annexation of the Palestinian lands," he said.
Jordan, Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia also spoke of the importance of a two-state solution at the pre-1967 lines when they addressed the UNGA. That vision runs counter to US President Donald Trump's two-state plan, which recognizes existing Israeli sovereignty over most of Jerusalem and allows for Israel to annex up to 30% of the West Bank.
- Father God, we lift up these ongoing negotiations as Israel continues to sign these agreements with her neighboring Arab countries. We ask that P.M. Netanyahu and the members of the Knesset enter into each treaty with great caution, carefully examining each detail to be certain that it is in alignment with Your Torah. We ask this prayer in Your name, Holy One, amen.
- "Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:" (Exodus 34:12)
The Daily Brief
1. President Trump to Sign 'Born-Alive' Executive Order Protecting Babies Who Survive Botched Abortions - TownHall
President Trump announced on Wednesday that he intends to sign an executive order aimed at protecting babies born alive after botched abortions. Speaking virtually to the "great, great people" at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, the president reaffirmed his commitment to protecting "born and unborn children."
"Today I am announcing that I will be signing the Born Alive Executive Order to ensure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve," President Trump said. "This is our sacrosanct moral duty. We are also increasing federal funding for the neonatal research to ensure that every child has the very best chance to thrive and grow."
The 'Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act' was originally introduced in the upper chamber by Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) but gained minimal momentum. The legislation would mandate that care be given to a baby born of a failed abortion and institute penalties for deliberately killing a newborn. It was introduced after Virginia Governor Ralph Northam (D) endorsed infanticide in 2019, when a state legislator introduced a bill loosening restrictions on late-term and post-birth abortions.
"The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired," Northam said of post-birth abortion at the time. "And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother." The president said that the executive order will mandate that newborns surviving abortion receive adequate care, and gives increased grant money to neonatal research. (Read more)
- Praise the Lord for leading President Trump to create and sign this Born-Alive Executive Order protecting babies who survive botched abortions. Praise the Lord!

2. Senate reaffirms commitment to peaceful transition of power - One America News
The Senate passed a resolution reaffirming there will be a peaceful transfer of power in the event of a Democrat victory come November. Resolution 718 was passed unanimously on Thursday. This came amid a wave of guarantees from GOP and Democrat lawmakers alike that there will be a peaceful transition of power in the hypothetical event President Trump does not win the election.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) offered the non-binding resolution while arguing the smooth transfer of the presidency is an essential part of the Constitution. "The bedrock of democracy is the orderly and peaceful transfer of power when the president transitions out," he stated. "There should not be a question, there should never be one iota of interruption whatsoever as that peaceful demonstration."
However, President Trump has raised concerns over the legitimacy of the election amid the high volume of mail-in ballots. "So we have to be very careful with the ballots . . . that's a whole big scam," he explained. "They found, I understand, eight ballots in a waste paper basket in some location . . . they'd throw them out if they had the name Trump on it I guess."
Despite his concerns about potential election fraud, the President has pledged he would accept a Supreme Court ruling in a contested election. (Read more)
- Father God, once again we thank You for our Constitution, which is the foundation of all law in our land. Thank You for this resolution, passed by our Senate and guaranteeing the smooth transition of power, no matter who wins this election. And thank You, Lord, that President Trump has vowed to honor any ruling by the Supreme Court, verifying the name of the winner of this election. Thank You, Lord, amen.
- "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
3. DOJ orders Pennsylvania county to change ballot practices after 'troubling' findings - Fox News
The Justice Department sent a letter to a Pennsylvania county on Thursday, ordering it to change its practices after multiple military ballots were found discarded.
The issue surfaced earlier in the day when the DOJ announced that it had recovered a small number of discarded ballots. While the Justice Department would not say where they had found the ballots, they did say there were nine recovered -- seven of which were cast for President Trump, while the other two were sealed by Luzerne County before the FBI recovered them.
In his letter to Luzerne County officials, U.S. attorney David Freed indicated that additional ballot materials were found in a dumpster. Freed said their investigation yielded "troubling" findings, including that the county allegedly improperly opened ballots.
Even though your staff has made some attempts to reconstitute certain of the improperly opened ballots, there is no guarantee that any of these votes will be counted in the general election. In addition, our investigation has revealed that all or nearly all envelopes received in the elections office were opened as a matter of course," Freed's letter read.
"It was explained to investigators the envelopes used for official overseas, military, absentee and mail-in ballot requests are so similar, that the staff believed that adhering to the protocol of preserving envelopes unopened would cause them to miss such ballot requests. Our interviews further revealed that this issue was a problem in the primary election--therefore a known issue--and that the problem has not been corrected," he added.
"While the assigned investigators are continuing their work including reviewing additional discarded materials, it is imperative that the issues identified be corrected."
On Monday, Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis requested the investigation, which involves cooperation with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office. Her office claims it opened an investigation after hearing about issues surrounding the ballots last week, on Sept. 17. (Read more)
- Gracious Father, we pray the all-seeing eye of God is roaming to and fro, finding the many discarded materials where these missing ballots are to be found. Nothing escapes the eye of God. They will be found and they will be counted. Father, we ask that all the wicked, underhanded acts of the Democrats be bound by the Blood of Jesus and exposed and destroyed. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "God disappointed the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise." (Job 5:12)
4. Loeffler introduces bill to ramp up penalties for election interference, amid fears of ballot tampering - Fox News
Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., introduced legislation Thursday to ramp up criminal penalties against those who attempt to interfere with the election process, hours after the Justice Department announced that a number of mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania had been thrown away. The "Securing Our Elections Act" would increase the penalty for tampering with or interfering in a federal election from five years in prison to between five and fifteen -- as well as a $100,000 fine.
"Free and fair elections are a cornerstone of America's democracy, and they must be preserved," Loeffler said in a statement. "But the threat to our democratic institutions is increasingly evident even today, with a number of ballots in Pennsylvania being discarded without reason."
Loeffler was referring to an announcement by the Justice Department that investigators had discovered that a number of military ballots had been discarded in the key swing state. They said that so far nine ballots had been recovered: seven of which had been cast for President Trump and two others had been resealed and the contents were unknown.
Although just a small number of ballots, it will fuel concerns by Republicans and President Trump about the risks attached to the expansion of mail-in voting being implemented in many states due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as long-standing fears about voter fraud. Despite those concerns, most voting rights experts have said that mail-in voting and absentee ballots are a safe and secure way to cast a ballot.
"With the potential for voter fraud and ballot tampering at our doorstep, we must do everything in our power to crack down on bad actors and ensure the integrity of our elections," Loeffler said. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray this bill will be enforced against all those who interfere with the election process. God, You love righteousness and hate wickedness. Therefore we trust that You will search this out and that the guilty will be charged and stopped. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be." (Psalm 37:10)
5. GOP senators share plan to move SCOTUS nominee from committee to floor vote, approve of Amy Barrett's record - Fox News
Fox News reached out to several conservative Republican senators this week, in an effort to gauge their plans for President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, whom the commander-in-chief plans to announce on Saturday. Here's what they had to say about the process and the presumptive pick Amy Coney Barrett.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that will approve the nominee, spoke with Fox News about Barrett and Barbara Lago's Catholic faith. She said Democrats are willing to vilify these women based on their spirituality, in an effort to derail Trump's nominee out of spite.
"If you are a conservative woman in DC, you are treated like a fourth-class citizen," she said. "Democrats are chastising these women because they take their child by the hand and go to Mass with them." The Tennessee Republican stressed the need for Congress to exercise its "Constitutional duty" to place a Justice on the court, adding that the GOP-controlled Senate would move swiftly to approve Trump's nominee and vote her out of committee, then "immediately" move to a floor vote.
The final schedule, however, will be left up to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray You move Congress to exercise its Constitutional duty to place a Justice on the court, so the GOP-controlled Senate will move swiftly to approve Trump's nominee and immediately move to a floor vote. We trust that You are guiding everything in Your perfect timing. In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
- "Blessed is the man that makes the Lord his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies." (Psalm 40:4)
6. Senate Report Links Hunter Biden to Human Trafficking Ring - PJ Media
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs has released a report claiming that Hunter Biden was involved in some corrupt and illegal dealings including human trafficking overseas. The report details huge monetary transactions between Biden and foreign sources as well as transactions that went to foreign women linked to prostitution and human trafficking rings.
. . . Hunter Biden has been outed publicly for his extra-marital activities with strippers and for his drug use. Page Six reported that Biden was suspected of smoking crack in a strip club, and that strippers had used sex toys on him, among other unsavory things. One of the strippers had to sue him for child support. The allegation that he may have been in some way involved with prostitutes overseas fit with his character and lifestyle of which we are publicly aware. But the link to human trafficking is disturbing, to say the least.
There sure seems to be a lot of Russian collusion going on here and President Trump is nowhere near it. When will the public hearings begin? A quick review of the Google results for news on Hunter Biden shows that only the New York Post reported this story of Biden's possible links to human trafficking. The other headlines are maddeningly obscure and clearly meant to convince people there's nothing to see here. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we pray You close this gate of wickedness by the power of the Blood of Jesus that Hunter Biden has exposed. Lord, this reveals a world of sin that few are aware of. We cry out for their souls, or they shall reap self-destruction and eternal damnation unless they repent of their sin. God, rescue the world from choosing this lifestyle. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off." (Psalm 37:38)
7. New Flynn court docs show FBI employees discussing probe of Trump aide: 'A nightmare' - Fox News
FBI analysts involved in the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn expressed serious concerns about the agency's conduct on the case, with one employee describing the case as a "nightmare," according to federal court filings released by Flynn's legal team Wednesday.
The documents detailed conversations between FBI employees in the early days of its probe into improper dealings between Flynn and Russia. In an Aug. 2016 exchange obtained by the Justice Department, an FBI analyst said that some agents "want a Clinton presidency" rather than a "wild card like Trump."
As the investigation progressed, some FBI analysts questioned the agency's use of national security letters (NSL)- a type of subpoena that doesn't require a judge's approval - to investigate Flynn's finances. On Dec. 5, 2016, analysts noted the use of an NSL was not a "logical investigative step," with one analyst describing the directive as a "nightmare."
. . . "The whole thing is pretty ugly . . . we shall see how things pan out," one FBI employee wrote.(Read more)
- Almighty God, we pray Your ultimate Word will expose the book of lies and illegal wickedness behind the insidious attacks against both President Trump and Lt. General Michael Flynn from the FBI employees, and their evil teams. Uproot the entire story, Lord. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "But God has saved us from our enemies, and has put them to shame that hated us."(Psalm 44:7)
8. Phrase 'Separation of Church and State' Is Misused to Exclude Religion from the Public Square, AG Barr Says - Christian Headlines
On Wednesday, Attorney General William Barr delivered a speech addressing the common misrepresentation of the phrase "separation of church and state" at the 16th Annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast. The event was held virtually due to the pandemic.
"Militant secularists have long seized on [the "separation of church and state"] slogan as a facile justification for attempting to drive religion from the public square and to exclude religious people from bringing a religious perspective to bear on conversations about the common good," Barr said.
According to Fox News, Barr also noted a decline of "traditional morality" as "actively hostile" people call for the support of removing religion from state entities.
The attorney general argued that the removal of religion and "striking increases in urban violence, drug abuse and broken families" are directly correlated.
"Problems like these have fed the rise of an ever more powerful central government, one that increasingly saps individual initiative, coopts civil society, crowds out religious institutions and ultimately reduces citizens to wards of the state," Barr said. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray Your blessings be upon AG William Barr for his wise admonitions regarding the phrase of the "Separation of Church and State". Lord, renew the true and correct interpretation of these words and draw men, women, boys and girls back to the Truth of the Bible that the church and state are inseparable. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delights in His way." (Psalm 37:23)
9. Why Can't We Talk About George Soros's Plan To Remake America? - The Federalist
Since 2015, George Soros has been executing a plan to reshape the country through local district attorney elections by pumping unprecedented amounts of money into races that typically only see candidates spend in the low five figures. Here's why he has an interest in these local races. Soros is exploiting the reality that all politics are local in some way. To transform America, you have to transform the way towns and cities operate.
A recent exchange on Fox News involving former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Fox News host Harris Faulkner, Democrat commentator Marie Harf, and Fox commentator Melissa A. Francis made the hair on my arms stand up because I realized how many people were either unaware of what Soros is doing or have been silenced by the idea that it's somehow antisemitic to criticize Soros's political activity.
Before we dive into what Soros has done, we need to put the antisemitism argument to bed. Criticizing how an enormously wealthy individual uses his money to change a nation is not in any way related to criticism of that person's ethnicity or religious beliefs. It's simply an exercise of civic engagement, which is essential for any self-governing people. The left's assumption that questioning someone's political spending is equivalent to questioning his dignity as a person is itself a deeply bigoted assumption, designed solely to silence dissent and shut down debate.
In the segment I referred to earlier, Gingrich brought up the indisputable fact that Soros has been spending what can only be described as unprecedented amounts of money on local races in recent years, with a goal of flipping DA races to far-left "progressive" candidates who will implement soft-on-crime policies that inevitably result in skyrocketing crime rates and violent criminals walking free. In response, Harf and Francis objected: "George Soros doesn't need to be a part of this conversation." Harf went so far as to deny that Soros is buying these races, and Faulkner did not step in to correct her. The segment ends in awkward silence as a disappointed Gingrich remarks that it's apparently "verboten" to speak about Soros on Fox News now. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray for a miracle concerning George Soros' spending to remake America. God, stop him and those who are supporting his plan. We rest in You, Lord, for evildoers, whether Jew or Gentile, shall be destroyed because their works are anti-God. God is supreme over all. Send an angel to withstand all his evil plans. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away." (Psalm 37:20)
10. US is beefing up forces in eastern Syria to counter Russian harassment - Jerusalem Post
The United States this week reinforced its military presence in northeastern Syria. Six Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles were deployed to the area, and around 100 troops were added to the roughly 500 that are already present in Syria east of the Euphrates River. The US also continues to maintain a separate presence west of the Euphrates in the area around the base at al-Tanf, on the Syrian-Jordanian border.
The beefing-up of the US military presence appears to be a response to the increasing tempo of Russian attempts to harass US forces, and to expand Moscow's presence in Syria east of the Euphrates. On August 26, four US troops were wounded when the vehicle in which they were traveling collided with a Russian military vehicle.
The incident took place outside the town of Derik/Malkiyeh, at the northeastern tip of Syria close to the Tigris River and the border with Iraq. This area lies far east of the Euphrates, and well inside of an area designated as a US-controlled security zone. That is, the Russian presence in the area was itself a provocation. The collision with the US vehicle took place at a time when Russian military helicopters were deployed above the area. It appears to have been deliberately initiated by the Russian force. (Read more)
- Father God, we ask for Your Hand of protection to rest upon all of our troops who are now stationed inside Syria. Grant our President Your wisdom, O Lord, as he decides upon the next steps to take that will bring stability and peace to that region of the world. We ask this in Your Name, amen.
- "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24)

A CRACK IN EARTH'S MAGNETIC FIELD
You know it's a good geomagnetic storm when *everything* turns green. Sky. Water. Earth. Even the wheels of your Jeep. That's what happened last night in Tromso, Norway:
"It was a great display--our first 'big one' of the season," says photographer Markus Varik.
The outbreak of green occurred during a G1-class geomagnetic storm. Solar wind blowing almost 500 km/s slipped through a crack in Earth's magnetic field, fueling the display. Such cracks form often in the weeks around equinoxes--a phenomenon called "the Russell-McPherron effect."
Varik is an aurora tour guide who normally gets to show these outbursts to dozens of visitors from around the world. Not this time, though. "It was a solitary experience," he says, acknowledging that 2020 will be "a tough and strange year for tourism because of the global pandemic."
Now for the good news: Varik plans to share his views throughout the season on Spaceweather.com. "This photo will not be the last one," he says. "I wish everyone a great year for auroras, and we will see you when we see you."
"I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke." (Acts 2:19)

American Sign Language Bible Translation Completed After 39 Years
The American Sign Language Bible translation has finally been completed after 39-years in the making.
In the fall of 2020, 3.5 million deaf people finally have the complete Bible in the American Sign Language (ASL) translation. The final books that were translated were Isaiah, Jerimiah, and Ezekiel. This project started in 1981 when minister Duane King of the Independent Christian Church saw the struggles of deaf people in the country.
In 1970, Duane met a Christian couple who decided not to come to church that much because they couldn't understand what was going on. Duane started to learn the sign language to start a church and mission or the deaf with his wife, Peggy. Today, their deaf school in Council Bluffs, Iowa is now one of the nation's leading deaf schools. (GodTV) Read more.

THE RETURN
THE RETURN
The Return is a movement, an appointed time, and a specific day set apart for one purpose - the return to God by coming before His presence in humility, in sincerity in prayer, and repentance.
The movement begins now and will continue through the entire year of 2020 leading up to 10 Days of Vigilant Prayer - Starting with the Biblical Feast of Trumpets and ending with the Day of Atonement (September 18-September 28). The central day of The Return will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 on the National Mall and throughout the nation and world.
Come to the Live Event in Washington or take part by Live Simulcast wherever you are - In your Home, Church, Town, or City!
