Trump Takes Action on China
President Trump: China took 'hundreds of billions' a year from America
President Trump signed both the Hong Kong Autonomy Act and a related executive order last night, which will hold China and others accountable for their efforts to stifle the freedom and safety of the people of Hong Kong.
"We've all watched what happened. Not a good situation," President Trump said during a press conference from the White House Rose Garden. "Their freedom has been taken away. Their rights have been taken away. And with it, goes Hong Kong."
China has violated its longstanding obligations on the issue, reversing Hong Kong's status as a free society and endangering its innocent residents. These actions are a blatant violation of China's promise to Great Britain that it would keep Hong Kong free and open until the year 2047.
American lives and livelihoods are at risk, as well: 1,300 American businesses and 85,000 American citizens currently reside in Hong Kong.
Last night's actions give the President and his Administration powerful new tools to hold responsible any individuals and entities involved in extinguishing Hong Kong's freedom. The executive order, for example, ends U.S. preferential treatment for Hong Kong unless and until the Chinese Communist Party takes appropriate corrective steps.
"No administration has been tougher on China than this administration," President Trump said. He's right-from day one, these important actions have included:
- Placing hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs on Chinese goods to confront unfair trade practices
- Launching a Section 301 investigation into China's intellectual property abuses
- Protecting U.S. national security by placing tariffs on steel from abroad
- Stopping Federal retirement investment in problematic Chinese companies
- Halting U.S. funding to the World Health Organization in response to its dangerous bias toward China on Coronavirus
"China has taken out hundreds of billions of dollars a year from our country," President Trump said. "And we rebuilt China. I give them all the credit in the world. I don't give the credit for the people that used to stand here [at the White House], because they allowed this to happen."

1. European ministers seek ways to block Judea/Samaria sovereignty- Israel National News
The Guardian reports that Foreign ministers from eleven European countries demanded the EU quickly provide them with a list of possible actions to "deter" Israel from claiming its sovereignty in parts of Judea and Samaria.
In a letter to EU foreign policy head Josep Borrell that was leaked to the Guardian, the politicians asked for the potential "legal consequences" for Israel and its effect on agreements with the EU.
The letter was signed by foreign ministers from Belgium, Ireland, Italy, France, Malta, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Finland.

2. Thousands of protesters try to break into PM's residence in Jerusalem- YNET News
Thousands of protesters carrying torches, on Tuesday scuffled with police in front of Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem and tried to break into the compound. The "Black Flags" demonstration began in the evening hours in response to police's removal of tents set up by anti-corruption activists outside the premier's residence. The demonstrators have staged a sit-in outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's official residence in Jerusalem for the past month, calling on him to resign while facing corruption charges.
The protestors were waving black flags, which they say symbolize the death of Israel's democracy during Netanyahu's tenure as Israeli leader, and shouting, "Bibi, go home" and "This is our country, no Netanyahu's".
Many held posters, saying "You are detached. We are fed up," or saying there is "no way" a politician under indictment can be prime minister. Demonstrators, defying orders to maintain social distancing requirements, chanted slogans, blew horns and threw water bottles at the police.

3. Health Minister: 'I've done everything to avoid closure, but options running out' - Israel National News
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein held a press briefing on Wednesday during which he discussed efforts against the coronavirus.
"The numbers aren't encouraging," he said. "We will need to weigh all possible options to at least stop the rate of increase, and this issue will be brought before the next cabinet meeting on Sunday, if not before then."
"From my first day in the ministry, I did everything so as not to come to a general closure. We are trying every way not to reach a general closure.
"But in an reality in which during every restriction a broad public struggle starts against that restriction, we have to understand once and for all - if the entire bag of additional tools is not at our disposal, in the end we will also reach a closure."

4. Iran's Quds Force commander: Tough times await Zionist regime - Israel Hayom
Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' elite Quds Force, Maj. Gen. Esmail Ghaani, said Tuesday that "tough days" await Israel and the United States.
Ghaani's remarks broke the Iranian regime's silence on a series of explosions that have recently occurred at Iranian industrial facilities.
"Tough times lie ahead for the United States and the Zionist regime. Major events are about to strike you," Ghaani said, as quoted by the Tasnimnews agency.

5. National Association of Nurses threatens to strike on Monday -Jerusalem Post
Israelis hoping to get treated in the country's hospital should be concerned if the National Association of Nurses strikes on Monday, as it says it plans to do.
"The Association of Nurses hereby announces that as of July 20, 2020 it will launch an emergency strike," chairwoman Ilana Cohen wrote in a letter to the directors of the health funds and the Health Ministry. They said the strike is "out of national responsibility and in order to stop the collapse of the nursing system and save lives."She said that, "the Finance Ministry is not doing enough to put human life and public health at the top if its priorities, and therefore unfortunately we have no choice but to take organizational measures before having to deal with immoral and inhumane decisions.
"We nurses have decided to take action and take all legal measures at our disposal to prevent injury and loss of the life, to stop the deterioration [of the health system] at the hands of coronavirus and to prevent the expected 'Yom Kippur' of the public health system."

1. Teachers Union Holds Schools Hostage Until Police Are Defunded, Charter Schools Shut Down - Western Journalism
The United Teachers Los Angeles has released a list of demands that it argues must be met before schools can reopen in America's second-largest city.
While some of the proposals might seem reasonable in light of the coronavirus pandemic, others sound like they were crafted by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Members of the Los Angeles Unified School District's teachers union apparently have adapted Rahm Emanuel's phrase "never let a good crisis go to waste" as their slogan.
According to the political activists at the helm of UTLA, "The Safe and Equitable Conditions for Starting LAUSD in 2020-21" include the defunding of police, a federal bailout of LA schools and the abolition of charter schools. In addition, the section on the desired "Federal Support" for reopening LAUSD schools included a demand for "Medicare for All."

2. Sowell: If Biden Is Elected He Could Push the US Past 'Point of No Return,' Like Roman Empire - Western Journalism
Renowned academic and author Thomas Sowell contends if Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden were to win the presidency, it may well push the United States past the "point of no return."
"I must say even though I'm regarded as pessimistic, I was never pessimistic enough to think that things would degenerate to the point where they are now, where adult human beings are talking about getting rid of the police . . . at a time when murder rates have been skyrocketing over what they were just a year ago," Sowell responded.
"It just seems such utter madness," he continued, "and what is frightening is how many people in responsible positions are caving in to every demand that is made, repeating any kind of nonsense that you're supposed to repeat." 3. Tommy Tuberville defeats Jeff Sessions in Alabama Republican Senate runoff - USA Today
Alabama Republicans Tuesday night decided to send former Auburn head football coach Tommy Tuberville to face U.S. Sen Doug Jones in November.
Tuberville, a first-time political candidate who had the backing of President Donald Trump, defeated former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who was seeking to return to the seat he held for 20 years.
Tuberville's victory showed Trump's continued grip on Alabama's GOP electorate even as his standing has taken a hit nationwide amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Sessions was the first U.S. senator to endorse Trump for president in 2016, and became an important surrogate for him during the campaign. Trump nominated Sessions to be U.S. attorney general, where he served from February 2017 to November 2018.

4. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized for possible infection - CNBC
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Tuesday for a possible infection, according to a spokeswoman for the court.
The justice, 87, received treatment at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after experiencing fever and chills. She underwent a procedure to clean a bile duct stent and will stay in the hospital for a "few days," court spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said in a statement.
"The Justice is resting comfortably and will stay in the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment," she said.
Ginsburg, the oldest Supreme Court justice, has endured a range of health issues in recent years. In January, she said she was "cancer-free" after undergoing treatment for what was likely pancreatic cancer last year.

5. MUSLIM RADICALS CAUGHT TRAINING KIDS FOR SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ON U.S. SOIL - Daily headlines
Earlier this week, the country learned of a terrorist cell in New Mexico that was training young children to commit mass school shootings. Now, while that is terrifying enough it just gets worse as more news of who this terrorist was has been leaked to the public and proves how Trump has been so right about his policies.
"The documents say Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was conducting weapons training with assault rifles at the compound near the Colorado border where 11 hungry children were found in filthy conditions. Prosecutor Timothy Hasson filed the documents while asking that Wahhaj be held without bail after he was arrested last week with four other adults facing child abuse charges.
Authorities say the remains of a boy also were found at the compound but have not been positively identified by medical examiners.
The child, Abdul-ghani Wahhaj, went missing in December in Jonesboro, Georgia, near Atlanta.
Authorities say his father had told the boy's mother that he wanted to perform an exorcism on the child. He later said he was taking the child to a park and didn't return."

6. Soros-Funded Muslim Group Associated With Homophobia, Terrorist Defenders Endorses Biden - Washington Free Beacon
Emgage, which bills itself as the largest Muslim PAC in the country, on Thursday announced it would switch its endorsement from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) to Biden. The group cited Biden's promises to end President Donald Trump's travel bans, increase the refugee admissions cap, and overhaul the immigration system. Biden said he was "honored" to receive the endorsement.
Emgage has collaborated with a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated group on events that in recent years attracted speakers who openly opposed LGBT rights and supported terror groups. Last year, Emgage became an official cohost of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conferences. ISNA was previously revealed to be part of the Muslim Brotherhood network-though it claims it is no longer associated with the group.
Emgage Action, the group's nonprofit arm, received a $1 million donation for organizational support from the Open Society Policy Center, Soros's lobbying shop, in late 2019.

7. Coronavirus hospital data will now be sent to Trump administration instead of CDC - CNN
Hospital data on coronavirus patients will now be rerouted to the Trump administration instead of first being sent to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.
The move could make data less transparent to the public at a time when the administration is downplaying the spread of the pandemic, and threatens to undermine public confidence that medical data is being presented free of political interference.
Michael Caputo, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the department, confirmed the change first reported by The New York Times earlier in the day, saying in a statement that the "new faster and complete data system is what our nation needs to defeat the coronavirus and the CDC, an operating division of HHS, will certainly participate in this streamlined all-of-government response. They will simply no longer control it."
"The CDC's old hospital data gathering operation once worked well monitoring hospital information across the country, but it's an inadequate system today," Caputo said in the statement.

8. Florida coronavirus numbers may not be as bad as they seem - Washington Examiner
Florida reported a record-breaking 15,300 new coronavirus cases last week - the single largest number of positive cases in one day since the coronavirus pandemic first reached the United States. This report led many to believe that Florida had lost control of COVID-19 and that its leaders needed to reintroduce restrictions to prevent further spread. But a closer look at the numbers suggests that Florida's situation might not be as dire as it seems.
One hospital, Orlando Health, disputed the department's numbers and said that its positivity rate was 9.4%, not 98%, as the department's report had stated. Another hospital, Orlando Veteran's Medical Center, said its positivity rate was 6%, but the department logged it as 76%. And at least one Florida doctor, Dr. Jon Ward, has questioned the accuracy of Florida's numbers for the same reasons.
Florida is certainly not out of the clear. For one reason or the other, case numbers are increasing. . .

9. Ilhan Omar's Payments to Husband's Firm Hit $1 Million in 2020 Cycle - Washington Free Beacon
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) continues to dish out six-figure payments to her husband's firm, which has now received more than $1 million from her campaign this cycle.
Federal Election Commission records released Tuesday afternoon show that Omar's campaign funneled $228,384.93 last quarter to the E Street Group, a D.C.-based consulting firm run by the congresswoman's husband, Tim Mynett. The payments, predominantly for digital and fundraising services, bring the total that Omar's campaign has sent to Mynett's firm to just over $1 million for the 2020 cycle.
Omar, a freshmen congresswoman, has faced scrutiny over numerous financial and personal issues since she was elected in 2018.

10. Donald Trump Promises More 'Merit' Immigration and DACA Plan - Brietbart
President Donald Trump slammed Joe Biden's promise to flood the blue-collar labor market with new migrants and refugees in a Rose Garden speech on July 14. But then Trump used his speech to promise he would expand white-collar "merit" migration into the jobs needed by unemployed, swing-voting college graduates.
But Trump then said he would shift immigration rules to favor the inflow of higher-skilled, white-collar migrants, despite the massive unemployment numbers in the American middle-class. He said: In the not-too-distant future, pretty soon I'm going to be signing a new immigration action - very, very big merit-based immigration action . . . it's going to be based on merit. It's going to be very strong.
Trump's 2020 strategy of promising more white-collar migration is puzzling, in part, because Trump has changed public attitudes about migration since he was elected in 2016.

11. Parscale replacement 'shocked' Trump campaign staffers, despite speculation - Fox News
Brad Parscale's abrupt demotion Wednesday night "shocked" some inside the Trump campaign, sources familiar with the move told Fox News, even as President Trump's sliding poll numbers and the recent Tulsa rally debacle had raised questions about his future.
The president announced on Facebook and later on Twitter Wednesday night that Parscale would be replaced as campaign manager by Bill Stepien, who had served as deputy campaign manager.
Parscale, who ran Trump's digital operations in 2016 and was promoted to Trump's right-hand man for the 2020 cycle, is expected to shift back to his previous role. Two top campaign officials told Fox News that Parscale will serve as a senior adviser focusing entirely on the campaign's digital operation and data collection. (Read more)

12. DOJ activity indicates John Durham preparing indictments - Washington Examiner
Activity within the Justice Department indicates U.S. Attorney John Durham is working to bring the first indictments as part of a criminal investigation into the Russia inquiry, according to investigative journalist John Solomon.
Solomon, a controversial reporter who similarly reported criminal investigative activity related to Durham's efforts months ago, told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs on Tuesday that people are frustrated by the wait, asserting there already is "overwhelming evidence in the public record" that crimes were committed during the Russia investigation.
Solomon, who is now the editor in chief of Just the News, faced criticism last year when his reporting on Ukraine for the Hill got swept up into the impeachment investigation of President Trump and became subject to a review that found he "failed" to identify "important details about key Ukrainian sources." Still, even as the tilt of Solomon's reporting has come into question, he does still boast insider knowledge at the Justice Department that has been borne out. (Read more)

The prophetic implications of COVID 19 resurgence
The news media is pumping out so many various claims about COVID 19 that it is difficult to discern what to believe. Masks help; masks don't help. Vaccine will help; vaccine will not help. Cases are increasing, but testing is not accurate. The virus can be transmitted from various surfaces; the virus can't live on various surfaces. There are so many conflicting stories that confusion and fear continue to build. This "pandemic," real or imagined or somewhere in between, is a prophetic type and shadow of how fear and confusion will be leveraged to deceive those into believing in an antiChrist figure and surrendering freedom and salvation for small assurances-like trading your birthright for a bowl of stew.
Matthew 24 speaks of wars, earthquakes, pestilences and famine as precursors to the "beginning of sorrows." There have been events such as COVID-19 in the past. In 2005, I documented in my book "Warshod" that in the previous 100 years, small pox killed 300 million people, and influenza millions. In 1918, for example, a worldwide flu epidemic attacked about 20% of the global population, leaving some 50 million dead, 675,000 deaths in the US. Do you not think that those who were alive then believed the end times were upon them? In a 14-year period from 1991-2005, earthquake frequency had increased 88%, and in the 1900s, 165 wars and tyrannies contributed to 180 million deaths-100 million attributed to communism. This was a 125% increase in war-related deaths over the previous century. Famine follows war.
Many have tried to make the case that COVID 19 is one of the bowl judgments in Revelation. It is not. The bowl judgments come AFTER the beast (antichrist) has taken control in the last 3 ½ years of Jacobs Troubles, commonly referred to as the Tribulation. We have not seen such a figure as yet. We can, however, through this virus example, see how the entire world can be impacted by a single event and how a leader might arise. Our response-First, as Christ said, do not be deceived. Second, this is an opportunity. Show the love of Christ to others. Bond together. Help one another. Pray for one another. Have empathy.
COVID-19 is showing us just how quickly the world can be locked down in response to a crisis, and how fear can impact normalcy. As we look at this prophetically, watch carefully for leaders arising out of the Middle East, especially from Turkey and Iran. Study Daniel 8, Ezekiel 38-39, and Matthew 24. Don't get caught up in the wild-eyed claims and conspiracy theories-they are only there to deceive. Be wise. Take care. Show the love of Christ as your testimony. Remember, you are still here and you will be until the Lord decides to remove you. As Christ said in Matthew 24:13, "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." You have been given a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Do not fear.

The Fear Factor
The shrill voices of Hollywood are demanding another shut down of the country. Wild-eyed actress Alyssa Milano, for example, tweeted "We need a National shut down now. Print cash. Give people UBI (Universal Basic Income) until we get this pandemic under control." This so-called "pandemic" is more out of control because of media-fear mongering and leftist socialist hijacking than the threat of the virus. Extreme leftists and Democratic Party leadership are using COVID 19 to expand government, implement socialism, and institutionalize methods, such as mail-in voting, to maintain socialist power in the years to come. The fear factor is a tremendous lever to pry open the gates of tyranny.
There are several dangerous components placing America on the path toward communism. First, is the threat to free speech and the exercise of religion. Somehow the minions of satan have gained some faux moral high ground in demonizing anyone who disagrees with them. If you support President Trump, for example, you are labeled a racist, a bigot, a homophobe, Islamaphobe, xenophobe, misogynist or some other word that makes it sound like you have an incurable disease. When, in fact, in most cases these people are accusing others of exactly what they are. Look at the centuries-long history the Democratic Party has with respect to racism and oppressing black people. It's undeniable.
Another dangerous component building the highway to tyranny is fear. The government, deep state, media, and leftists have used fear to advance their horribly destructive ideas. For example, think about how many conflicting reports there are on how deadly COVID 19 is, how fast or slow it spreads, how terrible it is to be infected, the concern of what will happen to you if you are infected, and will you be forced to have a government-mandated vaccine. All these fear factors make the majority compliant in interrupting their lives and shutting down any contact with anyone. This is an obvious step toward tyranny. The government issuing payments to everyone impacted by COVID 19 is also a precedent of socialism.
It uses fear to advance evil. Yes, evil. Socialism/communism is evil. It replaces God with government. It requires tyranny. It causes hunger. It deconstructs society. It pits citizens against citizens. It uses fear to control. It is a darkness, a deep darkness. But as 1 Thessalonians 5:5-11 says concerning the Day of the Lord, "You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others . . . But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. . .Therefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do." Be wise and circumspect in all you do, and know you need not fear if you have Christ.

A Texas firestorm erupted last week when Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner canceled the 2020 Texas State Republican Convention, scheduled for July 16-18 in Houston. The cancellation wipes out the plans of 6,000 preregistered TX delegates, and will cost many their nonrefundable airline tickets and hotel accommodations.
Even worse off than the delegates will be the hotel courtesy shuttle drivers, valet/parking attendants, bell staff/porters, door staff, concierge, technicians, maître d'hôtel, housekeeping, cooks, delivery service, room service, bartenders, and servers.
In calling the convention a "public health risk," Houston Mayor Turner (D) turned out to be yet another leader fitting seamlessly in Senator Rand Paul's category of "fatal conceit" or in Nobel Prize-winning economist Friedrich Hayek's domain of the "pretense of exact knowledge."
"It is a fatal conceit to believe any one person or small group of people has the knowledge necessary to direct an economy or dictate public health behavior. We shouldn't presume that a group of experts somehow knows what's best for everyone . . . It's important to realize that if society meekly submits to an expert and that expert is wrong, a great deal of harm may occur when we allow one man's policy or one group of small men and women to be foisted on an entire nation."1
When asked for his response to the lawsuit filed against him, Mayor Turner replied, "[The Republican Party of Texas] signed the contract in March with a force majeure clause that included epidemics in Houston. That clause allows either party to cancel the agreement if an occurrence is beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected."
"It's ironic," crowed the mayor, "that they're going to the courthouse [for reprieve] to ask them to agree to allow 6,000 people to meet in person when even the judicial community is hearing cases virtually."
Mayor Turner's purported concern for public health drips with dishonesty, duplicity, deceit, and deception given his addressing a crowd of some 60,000 George Floyd protestors just one month ago.2 Social distancing was neither maintained nor required. Social closeness and political nearness were widely practiced instead.
In matters like this it must be reiterated that what is happening in America has little or nothing to do with Republican vs Democrat. America's war is spiritual, as two distinct religions are vying for control of the public square: transient and mutable secularism versus eternal and immutable Christianity. These two distinct religions cannot coexist, as one will ultimately go down as a consequence of the elevation of the other.

One day after a report that a respected Chinese virologist fled Hong Kong to accuse Beijing of a COVID cover-up, former Trump strategist Steve Bannon told the Daily Mail that scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other labs have defected to the West and are "turning over evidence" against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for their role in the COVID-19 pandemic which has claimed over 560,000 lives worldwide since last December.
"People are going to be shocked," Bannon told the Mail ("from a yacht off the East coast of America," the Mail would like us to know).
The 66-year-old then said that defectors are cooperating with intelligence agencies in America, Europe and the UK, which have been assembling evidence to challenge the CCP claim that the pandemic originated in a wet market - not in a lab home to scientists who have come under fire for manipulating bat coronavirus to be more transmissible to humans.
"I think that they [spy agencies] have electronic intelligence, and that they have done a full inventory of who has provided access to that lab. I think they have very compelling evidence. And there have also been defectors," he said. "People around these labs have been leaving China and Hong Kong since mid-February. [US intelligence] along with MI5 and MI6 are trying to build a very thorough legal case, which may take a long time. It's not like James Bond."
"The thing was built with French help, so don't think that there aren't some monitoring devices in there. I think what you are going to find out is that these guys were doing experiments which they weren't fully authorized [for] or knew what they were doing and that somehow, either through an inadvertent mistake, or on a lab technician, one of these things got out," Bannon continued. "It's not that hard for these viruses to get out. That is why these labs are so dangerous."
"You essentially had a biological Chernobyl in Wuhan, but the center of gravity, the Ground Zero, was around the Wuhan lab, in terms of the casualty rates. And like Chernobyl, you also had the cover-up - the state apparatus reports to itself and just protects itself."

Floodwaters invade hospital in New Hampshire as heavy rain wreaks havoc
Stormy weather has triggered severe flooding in northern New Hampshire, clogging roadways and even sending floodwaters spewing into a hospital operating room on Tuesday.
According to officials of Cottage Hospital in Haverhill, New Hampshire, floodwaters affected an operating room and specialty clinics, but no patient rooms. Officials told WMUR.com that 12 surgeries had to be canceled.
Hunter Tubbs, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Grey, Maine, told AccuWeather that between 3 and 4 inches of rain fell in the general area.

Sudanese Christians Rejoice at the Abolition of Country's Islamic Apostasy Law
The abolition of Sudan's apostasy law, which carried a death penalty for leaving Islam, is now official. This has caused great rejoicing among Sudanese Christians, especially those who are converts from Islam.
The Miscellaneous Amendments Act was passed without objection by the Sovereign Council in April. In a press announcement, Sudanese Minister of Justice Nasr al-Din Abdel Bari said the Act repeals the apostasy law, protects freedoms and also grants previously-forbidden liberties. . .
Sudan is one of the few countries in the world where people have been officially executed for apostasy in modern times.
