1. Netanyahu: 'Stay at home, stay alive,' complete lockdown if virus spread continues -World Israel News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a press conference Wednesday evening at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, stressed the need for citizens to stay at home and follow the lockdown rules amid the rise in the number of people diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus
"Citizens of Israel, you know the following [talmudic] phrase: 'He who saves one life, it is as if he saved an entire world. With the coronavirus it has a different meaning. 'He who infects one person, it is as if he infected the entire world,'" Netanyahu said.
Despite the significant steps Israel has taken to control the spread of the virus, by Wednesday there were 2,369 confirmed cases and five deaths.
Most citizens have been following the health ministry regulations, but not everybody.
"The steps that we have taken here in Israel are being taken all over the world; however, they are not enough because the number of patients is doubling itself every three days. In two weeks, we are liable to find ourselves with thousands of patients many of whom will be in danger of death, the prime minister said.

2. Rivlin tells Netanyahu, Gantz to be 'responsible,' unite amid pandemic crisis- World Israel News
Israel's President Reuven Rivlin addressed the nation Wednesday evening, admonishing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Benny Gantz to end their infighting and unite as the country faces an unprecedented health and economic crisis from the coronavirus pandemic.
"I appeal to you from here, leaders of the main parties, to find a way to present a shared leadership, a responsible leadership, for Israeli society in its time of crisis," Rivlin said.
The former member of Knesset for the Likud Party who served as under Netanyahu as a cabinet minister spoke calmly but firmly, chastising both sides for feuding and jockeying for power in the parliament while the pandemic paralyzed Israel's economy and threatened to overwhelm the health care system
"Each side must understand the other's red lines and to be flexible on them, on the understanding that we have - we simply do not have - an alternative. Join together for the good of the Israeli people."
"If not now, when," Rivlin asked, quoting from the Jewish sage Hillel. The president has brokered several meetings between the two leaders, urging them to form a government of national unity to confront the epidemic.

3.Israel Steps Up Fight, Tightens Restrictions; 'Not a Matter of Fate,' says Defense Minister - United with Israel
The Prime Minister's office and Israel's Ministry of Health issued a joint statement on Wednesday tightening restrictions on citizens in an effort to limit and contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The emergency regulations place stronger responsibility on employers to close non-essential shops and permit staff to work from home, in addition to further restricting public transpiration and the movement of individuals outside their homes.
Individuals may only leave home to purchase food, medicines, essential products and to receive essential services and medical treatment. They may also go to a clinic to donate blood. Only two persons who do not reside in the same household may be in a vehicle at one time.

4.Gantz and Netanyahu speak, emergency government on the way? - Israel National News
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz spoke on the phone on Wednesday evening.
In the wake of the worsening of the coronavirus pandemic and the call by President Reuven Rivlin for unity, the two instructed the negotiating teams of the two parties to return to the table on Thursday to explore the possibility of forming a national emergency government.
The discussion comes after a week-long disconnect between the parties' negotiating teams.
Earlier, President Rivlin addressed the political crisis in Israel.
"We are witnessing confrontations of the most severe kind between the judiciary and the legislature," he said.
"And yet, despite the deep fissure between the camps and despite the ferocious rhetoric between the sides, I know that the vast majority of Israel's leadership, from left and from right, knows that it is the duty of every one of us to obey the rulings of the courts, and that it is inconceivable that anyone would not do so."

5. Report: White Supremacists Call for Coronavirus Patients to 'Spread Virus' to Jews - Jerusalem Online
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has reported that 'white supremacists' are encouraging members who have become infected with COVID-19 to spread the virus to police officers and Jewish people.
According to the FBI's New York office, the law enforcement agency has gathered intelligence that reveals that "members of extremist groups are encouraging one another to spread the virus, if contracted, through bodily fluids and personal interactions."
The FBI's alert, notified local police agencies that 'white supremacist' groups have been encouraging their followers to spread their bodily fluids to police through spray bottles. The racist extremists are also urging members to infect Jewish people with the coronavirus by going "any place they may be congregated, to include markets, political offices, businesses and places of worship."
Although the FBI has declined to publicly comment on the alert, it did release a statement to The Hill on Monday stating that "FBI field offices routinely share information with their local law enforcement partners to assist in protecting the communities they serve."

1. Senate unanimously passes historic $2T coronavirus stimulus package, as House of Representatives announces Friday vote - Fox News
By a vote of 96-0, Senate passed a massive $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus compromise package just before midnight on Wednesday, ending days of deadlock and sending the bill to the House of Representatives -- where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said there will soon be a "good debate on the floor" over the historic measure to bring relief to individuals, small businesses, and larger corporations.
The 880-page legislation is the largest economic relief bill in U.S. history. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., appeared somber and exhausted as he announced the vote - and he released senators from Washington until April 20, though he promised to recall them if needed.
The unanimous vote came despite misgivings on both sides about whether it goes too far or not far enough and capped days of difficult negotiations as Washington confronted a national challenge unlike it has ever faced.
The package would provide one-time direct payments to Americans of $1,200 per adult making up to $75,000 a year, and $2,400 to a married couple making up to $150,000, with $500 payments per child. After a $75,000 threshold for individuals, the benefit would be reduced by $5 for each $100 the taxpayer makes, per Page 145 of the bill. A similar $150,000 threshold applies to couples, and a $112,500 threshold for heads of households. (Read more)

3. Dow spikes over 1,300 amid record jobless claims, virus aid package - Fox News
U.S. equity markets surged on Thursday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average exiting bear market territory as optimism grows that the economy will regain its footing despite the coronavirus crisis.
The Dow gained 1,351 points or over 6.4 percent. The S&P 500 also rose 6.3 percent and the Nasdaq Composite over 5.6 percent.
The Dow, which could begin a new bull market Thursday, gained 3960.24 points or 21.30% over the last three trading days. The largest 3-day percentage gain since 1931.(Read more)

4. New Orleans emerges as next coronavirus epicenter, threatening rest of South - Reuters
New Orleans is on track to become the next coronavirus epicenter in the United States, dimming hopes that less densely populated and warmer-climate cities would escape the worst of the pandemic, and that summer months could see it wane.
The plight of New Orleans - with the world's highest growth rate in coronavirus cases - also raises fears that the city may become a powerful catalyst in spreading the virus across the south of the country. Authorities have warned the number of cases in New Orleans could overwhelm its hospitals by April 4.
New Orleans is the biggest city in Louisiana, the state with the third-highest case load of coronavirus in the United States on a per capita basis after the major epicenters of New York and Washington.
Some 70% of Louisiana's 1,795 confirmed cases to date are in the New Orleans metro area. (Read more)

5. US orders a 60-day freeze on overseas troop movements due to coronavirus pandemic - CNN
US Defense Secretary Mark Esper has signed an order freezing the movements of all US troops overseas for 60 days due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to three defense officials.
It means all US service members overseas or currently scheduled to deploy from the US will stay in their current locations for the next 60 days.
The freeze-in-place order will affect 90,000 expected scheduled deployments, including both troops scheduled to return home and troops scheduled to deploy overseas.
The Pentagon confirmed the order in a statement late on Wednesday, after CNN reported the change.
"This measure is taken to aid in further prevention of the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019, to protect U.S. personnel and preserve the operational readiness of our global force," the Defense Department said.

6. Pentagon sees coronavirus crisis lasting several months - News.yahoo.com
Washington (AFP) - The Pentagon is assuming the coronavirus epidemic in the United States will last at least several months, and that some countries are at risk of "political chaos," its top officials said Tuesday. "I think we need to plan for this to be a few months long at least," US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said, judging from the experience of countries like China, South Korea and Hong Kong.
Esper and General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, addressed questions from members of the US military around the world in a virtual online event. The questions were submitted in advance and read to the Pentagon's top two civilian and military leaders by a department official.
Milley said all indications are that the US is looking at "eight to 10, maybe 12 weeks, something like three months. . . That may or may not apply to the United States. It may or may not apply to all the different countries, different circumstances. But we'll see," he said. "If it does apply, you're looking at probably late May, June, something in that range. Maybe it could be as late as July, something like that. But we will get through it," he added.
The two men warned that the pandemic could destabilize some countries, to the point where they could present a threat to the United States. (Read more)

7. Gov. Northam Bans All Elective Surgeries, Exempts Abortions - The Family Foundation (Virginia)
Today, Governor Northam signed another Public Health Emergency Order, in response to the Coronavirus outbreak, directing "all hospitals to stop performing elective surgeries or procedures," but immediately clarified that the Order does NOT apply to "the full suite of family planning services and procedures" - i.e. Abortions. Governor Northam is putting the profits of the $1 billion abortion industry ahead of the health, safety, and well-being of all Virginians. His decision to allow abortions to continue when other elective procedures have been suspended is anti-health, anti-life, and downright irresponsible.
Even as the state prepares for the creation of additional bed capacity and make-shift hospitals in this pandemic crisis, the Governor says will only get worse, he's letting hospitals continue to perform abortions.
Beyond allowing abortion to distract from COVID-19 triage in traditional hospitals, Northam's order makes certain the entire abortion industry, including all stand-alone centers, is able to continue turning a profit, unlike every other health facility that likely just furloughed their employees and shut their doors. By prohibiting "all inpatient and outpatient surgical hospitals licensed under 12 VAC 5-410," Governor Northam specifically excluded the adjacent regulatory chapter: 12 VAC 5-412 that addresses abortion facilities. 8. These 6 eye-popping estimates for US jobless claims show just how much damage coronavirus is inflicting upon the economy - Markets Insider
New US labor market data set to be released this week will give an early indiction of just how much the coronavirus pandemic is damaging the economy. On Thursday, weekly US jobless claims data will be released for the week ending March 21.
Economists are anticipating that the report will show a massive increase in the number of people filing for unemployment insurance as the first wave of coronavirus-induced layoffs hit.
Estimates from major firms range from roughly 1 million to as much as 4 million jobless claims for a single week in March. (Read more)

9. Alleged Chinese Spy Arrested with Vials of Biological Material at Boston Airport in December - The Western Journal
"In August 2018, Zheng entered the United States on a J-1 visa and conducted cancer-cell research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston from Sept. 4, 2018, to Dec. 9, 2019," the Department of Justice said in a news release.
"It is alleged that on Dec. 9, 2019, Zheng stole 21 vials of biological research and attempted to smuggle them out of the United States aboard a flight destined for China. Federal officers at Logan Airport discovered the vials hidden in a sock inside one of Zheng's bags, and not properly packaged.
"It is alleged that initially, Zheng lied to officers about the contents of his luggage, but later admitted he had stolen the vials from a lab at Beth Israel. Zheng stated that he intended to bring the vials to China to use them to conduct research in his own laboratory and publish the results under his own name."
Zheng is now charged with "one count of smuggling goods from the United States and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. " (Read more)

10. Fauci: 'We need to be prepared' for a second coronavirus cycle - Washington Examiner
During a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, suggested that COVID-19 could potentially become cyclical with weather patterns.
"The reason I say that is that what we're starting to see now, in the Southern Hemisphere is that we're having cases that are appearing at they go into their winter season. And if, in fact, they have a substantial outbreak, it will be inevitable that we need to be prepared that we'll get a cycle around the second time," said Fauci.
Fauci, a public member of the White House coronavirus task force, said that phenomenon necessitates the development of a vaccine in the near future to mitigate future cases of COVID-19. "I know we'll be successful in putting this down now. But we really need to be prepared for another cycle. And what we're doing, I believe, will prepare us well," he concluded.
Deborah Birx, the response coordinator for the task force, echoed Fauci's assessment, saying the steps the Trump administration is taking to deter the spread of the virus are "dealing with Cycle A right now." (Read more)

Like many other pastors for last Sunday's service, Greg Laurie, the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California (and others), in obedience to the government's mandate, chose to shut down the church building and instead go online to preach to his people.
What happened next caught him totally by surprise!
As you can see by the image above, Pastor Laurie posted a tweet, with an EXPLOSION of attendance for that one service, AND a record setting number of decisions for Christ, too!

These statistics speak for themselves. Laurie said he has NEVER had such huge crowd on one Sunday morning in his entire career?
Is our Lord showing us a "new way" to "do church" in this hour? A way that is much less expensive and much more effective to reach the harvest of souls that are waiting to hear the GOOD NEWS in these last days? May it be so, Lord . . . may it be so!

Since the coronavirus began to spread at the end of last year, a wave of earthquakes is ranging around the world, overlooked as the fear of infection leads people to ignore the shaking under their feet.
Russia - Japan A 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Russia near the Kuril islands that lay off the coast of Japan on Tesday, setting off a tsunami warning. The tsunami warning which was issued also in Hawaii was later cancelled but the large tremor set off small tsunami waves of less than .3 meters. Hawaii is about 3,500 miles southeast of the Kuril Islands.

- Clay Bentley, of Rome, Georgia, tested positive for the coronavirus on March 6.
- He came down with a fever the morning after singing in a choir at a church event.
- His symptoms were so severe that he struggled to breathe and couldn't sit up.
- Last week, after a particularly rough night, he turned the corner and now feels back to himself. He credits God for his recovery.
"What kept me going? I just have had to spend a lot of time with the lord," Bentley told Insider, while waiting to be discharged. "I've never been this sick in my entire life. He's healed my body and I'm ready to be a witness. I'm ready to be alive for Him."
