1. Israelis have spoken and prefer Netanyahu, though hurdles remain on way to government - jns
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared "a giant victory" on Monday night for the Likud Party and the Israeli right-wing. With 92 percent of the votes counted, Likud won 36 seats and the right-wing/religious bloc 59 seats.
Netanyahu told a roaring crowd at the Likud victory celebration in Tel Aviv, "We stood against massive forces. They already eulogized us. Our opponents said the Netanyahu era is over. But together, we flipped the script. We turned lemons to lemonade."

2. Rivlin, Netanyahu set to clash over mandate to form government - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Monday's election "the biggest win of my life" in his victory speech at Expo Tel Aviv, which started at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday. But by late Tuesday, it appeared there was no guarantee he would even be given a chance to form a government. Likud sources said Netanyahu wanted to form a government as soon as possible and that he aimed to complete the process before his corruption trial begins on March 17. But President Reuven Rivlin will be taking his time in enabling a government to be formed, the exact opposite of what he did after the April and September elections.

3. Coronavirus facility opens at Rambam Hospital using new Israeli tech - Jerusalem Post
Rambam said in a release that a new remote monitoring system will be used for the first time in Israel in this new department. The system was developed by the Israeli start-up Biobeat.
The Rambam Hospital in Haifa finished preparations ahead of the opening of a new coronavirus department on Tuesday. The facility will be on its own floor, isolated from the rest of the hospital.
Construction and logistic teams worked in the past week to cut an entire floor of the hospital in two: a hospitalization wing on one side and rooms for the team on the other side. The department will also have a separate ambulance entrance and elevator. Air from the rooms will be pumped through a filter before it exits the building.

IDF operations chief Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva returned from Italy last month and met with the prime minister before the Health Ministry required self-quarantine
An Israeli general who was later instructed to enter self-quarantine following a visit to Italy met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials last week.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the officer, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, the head of the IDF Operations Directorate, returned to Israel some 12 days ago from a personal trip to Italy, which has seen a high incidence of the COVID-19 disease.

1. Supreme Court agrees to review ObamaCare challenge over funding mechanism-Fox News
The U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday that it will review a challenge to the Affordable Care Act's constitutionality after a group of states led by Texas claimed that there is no longer a legal justification for it.
The law, commonly known as ObamaCare, was first upheld by the Supreme Court under the justification that by tying the individual mandate -- the requirement to buy health insurance -- to a financial penalty it fell under Congress' taxation power. When President Trump eliminated the penalty, Republican-led states claimed there was no longer a legal basis for the mandate.
A group of 20 Democratic states appealed. Defenders of the Affordable Care Act argued that the issues raised by the case are too important to let the litigation drag on for months or years in lower courts.
A decision from the Supreme Court is not expected until after the 2020 election.

-Father God, let your will be done in this situation. Let the rule of law and the constitution of the United States be upheld and let this wrong be corrected in Jesus name.
-"For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified." (Romans 2:13)
2. Divided Supreme Court rules illegal immigrants can't be shielded from ID theft prosecution-Fox News
A divided Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that illegal immigrants who use someone else's information when filling out tax forms for employment can face criminal charges, despite federal laws that liberal justices claim should prohibit such cases.
The Immigration Control and Reform Act (IRCA) makes it a federal crime to lie on the I-9 work authorization form, while limiting how the false information can be used. Federal law also says information "contained in" the I-9 cannot be used for law enforcement other than specified exceptions -- but the Supreme Court ruled that if workers use the same information in tax documents, they can face charges.
"Although IRCA expressly regulates the use of I-9's and documents appended to that form, no provision of IRCA directly addresses the use of other documents, such as federal and state tax-withholding forms, that an employee may complete upon beginning a new job," Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the court's opinion, which was joined by fellow conservatives Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh.

-Praise you Father, for balanced Supreme Court judges that uphold the rule of law and deliver justice to those who have been wronged! Continue to fill our courts with judges who rule correctly in Jesus name. Amen!

3. Arrogant AOC Making Enemies with People Who Could Eliminate Her District Entirely-Western Journal
Ocasio-Cortez may be the new, young face of the Democratic Party, but she too hasn't endeared herself to the party firmament. She's trying to primary several of them out of office. According to the New York Post, two of the seven House candidates her Courage to Change PAC will be supporting are challenging other Democrats. Justice Democrats, the group that got her elected and that she supports, are challenging even more incumbents in 2020.
According to Politico, New York is one of 10 states on track to lose a seat in reapportionment after the 2020 Census is completed. Where does that seat get lost? One suggestion, according to the editorial board of the Post, could be to phase out Ocasio-Cortez's Bronx/Queens district.
If the district is eliminated, she could obviously run in the successor district - although it'd likely be a great deal more conventionally Democrat, not quite as radical as her current district is.

-Father God, we just ask that your will be done in this situation. We ask that these congressional seats will be filled with the righteous. We ask that you take the blinders off the citizens of these districts to help them to see clearly your absolute truth. We ask that you help them see the right people versus the wrong people to vote in the correct ones to represent them.
-"Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble."(Proverbs 13:20)
4. Parents and schools confront growing coronavirus fears-Orange County Register
Parents throughout Southern California worry that "the new kid in school" could unwittingly harbor an invisible danger: the coronavirus.
In Newport Beach, elementary school parents are alarmed about children rumored to be arriving from China. In Alhambra, more than 14,500 people signed a petition requesting that the school district cancel classes until the "outbreak ceases."
And in the San Fernando Valley, an Asian-American student was injured in an attack by other boys who accused him of exposing them to the virus. Newport Coast Elementary offers a prime example of the domino effect of fear.
Rumor has it that seven children from China will enter the school by early next week. Demanding more information, dozens of parents there are threatening to keep their children home - and some are already doing so.
Unified School District, which, officials say, has tried to be proactive in curtailing panic. District nurse Debbie Gatti visits school sites to present slideshows explaining how viruses spread.
"Our goal is to lessen the stigma associated with the coronavirus," Gatti said.

-In the name of Jesus we come against the division that the fear of this virus is causing in the hearts of children and their parents. We pray over the schools and the school faculty that they will have wisdom and strength on how to deal with the children, the parents, and the fear. We say fear be gone off of these children and their parents, in the name of Jesus!
-"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
5. Trump donates quarterly salary to HHS for coronavirus efforts-The Hill
President Trump has donated his quarterly salary to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as it seeks to combat the coronavirus, the White House announced Tuesday.
Press secretary Stephanie Grisham tweeted that Trump donated his salary from the fourth quarter of 2019 "to support the efforts being undertaken to confront, contain, and combat #Coronavirus."
The president pledged to donate his quarterly $100,000 salary upon taking office, and he has given it to various government agencies over his first three years in the White House.

-Thank you father God, for President Trump's generosity towards America and the citizens of America. Continue to show him favor and bless him for working selflessly while in the White House.

The Daily Jot
The false prophets of Coronavirus
Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden and a host of others in the Democratic Party stable are trying to make the case that Donald Trump is at fault for spreading coronavirus in the United States and around the world. Biden said on Monday's MSNBC's "The Last Word," "The whole question on crises is how much credibility a president has. . . No matter who the president is, [he] speaks for the nation, and gives great concern to and/or brings some solace to the rest of the world. And this president has-this is not a political comment. It's a literal comment-He has no credibility on this issue." Other Democratic presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Michael Bloomberg and the media say the same.
They are repeating that President Trump has called the current flu scare a hoax (not true), and that he has no plan on how to prevent spread of the virus in the US. They are calling it "Trumpvirus" in a New York Times editorial, and are spreading fear across the nation with their comments. Let's look at the facts so far provided by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and other organizations. There are 91,320 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide. There have been 3,118 deaths reported (a little over 3%). 48,155 have recovered. China, with 80,151 cases, leads the world with South Korea, Italy, and Iran each having over 1,500 cases. The US has 105 confirmed cases and six deaths.
Here is something to think about. The Centers for Disease Control estimates in its weekly Influenza Surveillance Report, "that so far this season there have been at least 32 million flue illnesses, 310,000 hospitalizations and 18,000 deaths from flu." CDC reported, "The percentage of death attributed to pneumonia and influenza is 6.9 percent, below the epidemic threshold of 7.3 percent. . . Key indicators that track flu activity remain high but decreased for the second week in a row. Severity indicators (hospitalizations and deaths) remain moderate to low overall, but hospitalization rates differ by age group, with high rates among children and young adults." Coronavirus in the US is far less a threat than the general flu.
Yet, the Democrats are using scare tactics and politicizing coronavirus. Biden says being presidential is to "bring some solace to the rest of the world," but he and his political buddies are doing just the opposite. The media is doing the same thing. During times of potential crisis, it is best to keep a level head and focus on the facts. Yes, the coronavirus could explode, especially with the lack of border security, which is something else the democrats are adamant about. You see, what people say and what people do contribute to all of this. Christ said in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." We can see plainly who are the false prophets of coronavirus; their fruits are deception.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
