Taliban Warning: US Must Fully Withdraw American Troops by Sept. 11

A spokesman for the Taliban warned that U.S. troops in Afghanistan have to leave by Sept. 11—the anniversary of the terrorist attacks that launched the United States into the war—after troops were re-deployed to the Kabul airport to oversee an evacuation.

Suhail Shaheen, a member of the Taliban’s political office, told Sky News on Tuesday that “we are committed not to attack them,” but he stressed they have to leave by that date. It’s not clear what will happen if American forces remain in Afghanistan after Sept. 11.

The United States had previously planned to withdraw all its troops by the end of August, but the Pentagon was forced to send thousands of soldiers to the beleaguered country to facilitate evacuations from Kabul, which was quickly captured by the Taliban—considered a terrorist group by many countries—on Sunday.

The Biden administration has faced widespread criticism for how his office handled the pullout and evacuation, with some likening it to previous military failures such as the 1975 fall of Saigon. Meanwhile, the sudden arrival of the Taliban sparked panic and triggered mass waves of people at the Kabul airport, as many hoped they could be airlifted out of Afghanistan.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier told reporters on Tuesday that “the images of despair at Kabul airport shame the political West,” referring to the mass evacuations. “We are experiencing a human tragedy for which we share responsibility,” he also said.

During their 1996-2001 rule, also guided by their interpretation of Islamic law, or shariah, the Taliban stopped women from working and administered punishments including public stoning. Girls were not allowed to go to school and women had to wear all-enveloping burqas to go out. (The Epoch Times)  Read more.

- Father, we call for immediate disruption of their threats with a wall of angelic warriors.  May every single Taliban member be brought to their knees as they come face to face with a mighty warring angel.  Jesus, thousands of people in Afghanistan need to be rescued and it seems there are no NATO forces there helping.  We ask You to strengthen our troops and multiply assistance to all those in need.  Father, let no weapon formed against the people prosper, in Jesus name.

- "'But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,' says the Lord God."  (Ezekiel 11:21)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. PM Bennett orders IDF not to respond to Gaza rocket attack- Israel National News

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Benny Gantz have ordered the IDF to refrain from issuing a response to yesterday’s rocket attack on the Gaza periphery town of Sderot.

This order stands in contrast to the prevailing practice in recent years, including during the previous government’s term of office, when the IDF responded to every single instance of rocket fire out of Gaza, including to the launching of incendiary balloons. Sometimes the response was merely “symbolic” but the IDF was always particular to respond in some manner to terrorist attacks.

Last June, the current Prime Minister – then in the opposition – promised that the residents of the Gaza periphery communities would not be treated as second-class citizens if he were in power. “We won’t tolerate violent attacks of any kind, no matter how minor,” he stated. “Our patience has run out.” Bennett was speaking at an official memorial service for the soldiers who fell during Operation Protective Edge. “In Gaza, they will have to get used to a different kind of Israeli approach – an approach of taking the offensive, of new ways of doing things,” Bennett said then, describing how he would do things if he were given a free hand. 2. Israel reportedly targets southern Syria, explosions heard near border - Israel Hayom

Syrian state media reported that Israel carried out a missile attack on southern Syria late on Tuesday, targeting an unspecified military position. There was no immediate comment from Israel.

The state TV report did not specify if there were any casualties. It said two missiles were fired toward the military position near the southern town of Quneitra, on the Golan Heights, not far from the border.

Explosions were heard in Quneitra province in southwestern Syria near the border with Israel, state media said in an area where military defectors say Iranian-backed militias are dug in. (Read more)

3. IDF Captures Armed Palestinian Disguised in ‘Full Uniform’ as Israeli Soldier - Algemeiner

JNS.org – Israel Defense Forces soldiers captured an armed Palestinian disguised as an Israeli soldier on Monday.

The IDF said in a statement that the suspect was “wearing a full IDF uniform,” adding that he was apprehended adjacent to the community of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, in the West Bank.

The military released a photo of various weapons found in the man’s bag following a search. It added that the suspect “was transferred to security forces for further questioning. (Read more)

4. Police Confiscating Guns from Jews in Lod - Jewish Press

Six Jews from Lod have had their licensed personal sidearms confiscated by police recently, for no clear reason, according to a report in Makor Rishon.

The citizens were asked to come down to the police station to deposit their guns and were told the guns would remain there for around a month. After inquiring, some of them were told it was part of a murder investigation.

The residents said they hope this isn’t the beginning of a quiet attempt by police to disarm the Jewish citizens of Lod, or was based on false accusations by their Arab neighbors.  (Read more)

5. Israel offers Turkey emergency aid in wake of devastating floods - World Israel News

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz contacted Turkey’s defense attaché to Israel and the Turkish Defense Ministry on Sunday and offered to send a search and rescue delegation to help Turkey cope with the aftermath of devastating floods.

Gantz said that a team from the IDF Home Front Command could also provide medical personnel and supplies.

Torrential rains battered the country’s northwestern Black Sea provinces on Aug. 4, causing floods that demolished homes and bridges, swept away cars and blocked access to numerous roads. At least 70 people have been killed by flooding in northern Turkey, and dozens more were missing as of Sunday afternoon. (Read more)

1. George W. Bush expresses "deep sadness" over Taliban takeover of Afghanistan - Axios

Former President George W. Bush said late Monday that he and former first lady Laura Bush had "been watching the tragic events unfolding in Afghanistan with deep sadness."

Bush ordered the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan to oust the Taliban and deny al-Qaeda of a safe haven to launch any more terrorist attacks on the U.S. following 9/11. He said last month that President Biden's decision to pull U.S. troops from Afghanistan would leave Afghan women and girls facing "unspeakable harm."

The former president said in a statement that he, Laura Bush and the George W. Bush Presidential Center "stand ready as Americans to lend our support and assistance in this time of need" after the Taliban declared victory Monday following its seizure of Kabul.
The former first couple's "hearts are heavy for both the Afghan people who have suffered so much and for the Americans and NATO allies who have sacrificed so much." (Read more)

- Abba, we all feel the same sorrow and pray for Your mighty hand to intervene to protect and deliver the innocent, and especially our sisters and brothers in Afghanistan.  We also ask that You stand alongside our military veterans and hold them strong to Your heart.  We cry out Life! Life! Life! in Jesus name!

- "Their Redeemer is strong; The Lord of hosts is His name.  He will thoroughly plead their case, That He may give rest to the land, And disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon."  (Jeremiah 50:34)

2. Biden ignores questions and retreats to Camp David after Afghanistan address - Washington Examiner

President Joe Biden turned his back and walked away to reporters shouting questions after he delivered a speech to the nation Monday on the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.

After his roughly 18-minute speech, during which the president defended his decision to end the 20-year war-fighting mission in Afghanistan, his office released a public schedule update showing Biden would fly out from the White House and return to Camp David.

Biden spent the weekend at the Maryland retreat and has been kept apprised of the situation in Afghanistan, where the Taliban took over the capital city of Kabul on Sunday and the United States sent back thousands of troops to assist with frantic evacuations of U.S. citizens and Afghan allies from the airport in the capital.  (Read more)

- Father, this man sitting in the office of President of the United States of America is in need of Your deep and great intervention.  We are crying out for a return to strength and leadership and know that this administration is unable and unwilling to do so.  Seeing him cloister himself at Camp David in such a serious time is not how the President of the United States should carry himself.  No one should have to assure us that he is being "kept apprised of the situation in Afghanistan", we should see it with our own eyes.  Please change or remove this administration, Father.

- "'Whether it is pleasing or displeasing, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God to whom we send you, that it may be well with us when we obey the voice of the Lord our God.'"  (Jeremiah 42:6)

3. Former CDC Chief Doesn’t Foresee Fresh Lockdowns Over Recent COVID-19 Spike - Epoch Times

A former head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Aug. 15 that schools might close over a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, but that he doesn’t believe lockdowns will be reimposed.

“I don’t think so,” Richard Besser, an acting director of the CDC during the Obama administration, said on ABC’s “This Week,” when asked whether society would again “grind to a halt” due to harsh mandates.

“I think what we’re going to see is schools closing when cases spread through schools. We’re going to see more recommendations for use of masks. The reason it’s not going to be the same as it was early in the pandemic is that there is a vaccine, and we have done a very good job at vaccinating people who are at the greatest risk, so elderly people, people with underlying medical conditions, front-line health care workers.” (Read more)

- Father, we ask You to drive this miserable virus into the ground.  Whatever this Obama CDC person has to say can change with the wind, like so much else coming out about the virus, so we ask You as our Strong Tower to annihilate the virus and stop the rampant injury taking place.  We pray for the health of our citizens and that the medical protocol would be changed so people are immediately given safe and affordable treatments at home before the virus has time to get stronger and survive.  In Jesus name!

- "So Jesus answered and said to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.'" (Mt. 21:21)

4. Prince Andrew 'a person of interest' in Epstein probe - source - Reuters

U.S. prosecutors probing the activities of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and others linked to U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein consider Prince Andrew a person of interest in the investigation, a source familiar with the U.S inquiry said.

Investigators want to interview Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s second son, about his friendship with Epstein as part of their inquiry into possible co-conspirators, the source said. As a person of interest he is viewed at least as a potential witness.

Prosecutors in 2020 said Andrew had “sought to falsely portray himself to the public as eager and willing to cooperate” but had given no interview to federal authorities and had repeatedly declined requests to talk with investigators. While Andrew remains a person of interest to prosecutors in the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, they do not expect to be able to interview him in the foreseeable future, if ever, according to the source. (Read more)

-  Father, we pray for justice for every child that has been trafficked and abused by these people.  We ask You to cut through all the legal obstructions that keep them from arrest and judgment.  No matter how lofty their position, would you please remove their earthly protections and let justice take its course for these young women; which includes guarding the lives and loved ones of the innocent. In Jesus name.

- "'Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you?  I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it.'"  (Ezekiel 22:14)

5. Suspected terrorists crossing border 'at a level we have never seen before,' outgoing Border Patrol chief says - Washington Examiner

Unprecedented numbers of known or suspected terrorists have crossed the southern border in recent months, the outgoing Border Patrol chief said.

The head of the Border Patrol, Rodney Scott, told his 19,000 agents before retiring on Aug. 14 that their national security mission is paramount right now despite the Biden administration's focus on migrant families and children who are coming across the United States-Mexico boundary at record rates.

Over and over again, I see other people talk about our mission, your mission, and the context of it being immigration or the current crisis today being an immigration crisis,” Scott said in a video message to agents, obtained by the Washington Examiner. “I firmly believe that it is a national security crisis. Immigration is just a subcomponent of it, and right now, it’s just a cover for massive amounts of smuggling going across the southwest border — to include TSDBs at a level we have never seen before. That's a real threat.”  (Read more)

- Oh, Lord, we look to You to help the Border Patrol keep our borders safe in spite of the hindering policies of those who are in power in DC.  Lord, we ask that You would remove the ones not chosen by You to be in DC so that we may live a peaceable life in all Godliness and honesty.  We pray for the Border Patrol to be able to devise wise strategies to deal with those especially evil and dangerous border-crossers to keep us all safe.

6. Justice Barrett Vaccine Ruling Likely to Apply to College Sports - Sportico

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s denial of an emergency application to bar Indiana University from requiring faculty, staff and students be vaccinated from COVID-19 is an important legal development for college athletic departments. The denial, issued last Thursday in Klaassen v. Trustees of Indiana University, suggests that athletes and other students who challenge vaccine requirements would likely fail.

Barrett reviewed the application, filed by eight students, as the circuit justice for cases from the Seventh Federal Circuit (covering Indiana and other Midwestern states). Emergency applications are handled “on paper,” meaning without a hearing.

Barrett’s denial is not tantamount to a decision on the merits, and it lacks the precedential impact of a Supreme Court ruling. A group of students or athletes from a college located in a different federal circuit could mount a similar challenge that is reviewed by a different justice who might, unlike Barrett, refer it to the full Court for consideration. Yet assuming Barrett’s views reflect a majority of the justices, COVID vaccine directives for the 2021-22 academic year will be seen as lawful conditions. (Read more)

- Father God, we are disturbed at the lack of respect for individual rights to refuse an experimental "vaccine" in this Justice's decision.  We pray that this ruling will be challenged in another jurisdiction and ruled in favor of individual rights.  We strongly come against the singling out of individuals for any reason in our society and come against a cultural shift to demonize the unvaccinated and divide our precious people.

- "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."  (Galatians 5:1)

7. Correct the record: outlets walk back heightened Covid-19 death figures in Texas - Just The News

A story claiming that the Covid-19 death rate in Texas hit a high not seen since March 2020 has been corrected. Axios had claimed that the Lone Star state's "seven-day coronavirus death rate reaches its highest levels since March 2020," a claim that was walked back on Monday.

The amended article now reads, "Editor’s note: This story has been corrected to show Texas’s seven-day coronavirus death rate is at its highest levels since March 2021 (not March 2020)."

The Delta variant is currently surging in American southern states, including Texas. But, this is at least the second time in recent days that an outlet has been forced to correct false information presented about pandemic figures in Texas. (Read more)

- Praise You, Lord, for this revealing report exposing the manipulation of statistics to support the narrative of those who would have us in bondage.  Dear Lord, we pray that you would enable alert people to correct all data that has been reported inaccurately so that the real statistics will yield accurate results and not just say what the elites want us to hear.  We further call for a decline and elimination of this COVID threat by Your own hand, Dear Lord.

- "For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth."  (Isaiah 21:6)

8. Hollywood Celebrities Blame Trump for Biden’s Disastrous Withdrawal from Afghanistan - Brietbart

Stars including Bette Midler, Sophia Bush, George Takei, and Rosanna Arquette have used their social media influencer status to assign blame for the fiasco to Trump, citing the former president’s 2020 agreement with the Taliban.

As Breitbart News reported, the Trump administration agreed to fully withdraw troops from Afghanistan by May 1, 2021, in exchange for the Taliban agreeing not to attack U.S. troops and to cut ties with al-Qaeda and other international terrorist groups.

But the Biden administration reneged on the Trump deal by extending the Afghan war by four months, before again changing the date for troop withdrawal to August 31. Biden’s prevarications prompted the Taliban to drop its end of the bargain, setting in motion the Islamic extremist group’s takeover of the country.
None of that stopped Bette Midler from trying to spin Biden’s debacle as Trump’s fault. “This should be laid at Trump’s fat feet,” the future Kennedy Center honoree tweeted Monday. (Read more)

Lord God, as a nation, I pray we repent for idolizing celebrities and for seeking their opinions to form ours—as if fame and fortune determine a person’s character and imply superior wisdom and knowledge. They are not gods. Only You, Father-Son-Holy Spirit, are completely wise; and as our Creator, You know it all! May we seek Your face and the mind of Christ as we pursue truth, righteousness, and wisdom through prayer, Your word and counsel from mature saints. Thank You for Your unfailing love that wants the very best for us individually and as a nation. We pray for revival to touch many, many of those “in the spotlight”.

- “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath, or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them nor serve them;  (Exodus 20:2-5a)
9. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have signed a petition calling for $2,000 monthly stimulus checks in the wake of the Delta variant - Business Insider

Almost 3 million people have signed a petition calling for Congress to issue $2,000 monthly stimulus checks.

The petition has been gaining traction since its creator, Stephanie Bonin, posted it to Change.org last year. It's been making waves again as the Delta variant spreads across the country. Since May, hundreds of thousands of Americans have signed on.

"I'm calling on Congress to support families with a $2,000 payment for adults and a $1,000 payment for kids immediately, and continuing regular checks for the duration of the crisis," Bonin, a Colorado restaurant owner, wrote on the page for the petition. "Otherwise, laid-off workers, furloughed workers, the self-employed, and workers dealing with reduced hours will struggle to pay their rent or put food on the table."  (Read more)
- Abba Father, You know who truly is in dire straits at this time, and we ask for Your wise temporary help for them until they are able to provide for themselves or their families. We pray that the Church would do their part as well. May those able-bodied persons who receive unemployment compensation get out there and find a job—there are many to be found. We ask, Lord, that You move upon our government to stop enabling idleness and spending money they/we do not have, in Jesus name!

- Go to the ant, you lazy one, Observe its ways and be wise, (Proverbs 6:6)

10. White House admits 'fair amount' of US equipment in Afghanistan in Taliban hands - Fox News

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Tuesday that a "fair amount" of U.S. weaponry had fallen into the hands of the Taliban since the hard-line Islamic militant group's rapid takeover Afghanistan in recent days.

During a White House press briefing, Sullivan was ask what will happen with the billions of dollars in equipment, including guns, ammunition, helicopters, and more, given to the Afghanistan government in the two decades before its collapse.

We don't have a complete picture, obviously, of where every article of defense materials has gone," the Biden adviser answered briefly. "But certainly, a fair amount of it has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, and, obviously, we don’t have a sense that they are going to readily hand it over to us at the airport."  (Read more)

Lord, we cry out for Your mercy and pray that our weapons left behind would be rendered useless by Your warring angels or somehow recovered. Protect the innocent, Dear Abba! Please reveal what is still hidden, O Lord, and give us Your strategies to deal with these revelations.

Communist China Celebrates

By Gary Bauer

The official Chinese communist newspaper celebrated America's "complete humiliation."  But what should concern everyone is that Beijing aimed a specific message to the people of Taiwan, warning, "If [America] can make such a huge miscalculation and suffer such a catastrophic defeat in Afghanistan, then who is going to trust its judgement in East Asia, or the South China Sea?"

Today, communist China launched massive assault drills off the coast of Taiwan, putting an exclamation point on their previous warning.

It's likely there's something else going on behind the scenes.  Communist Chinese officials may be telling Taiwanese leaders in private communications, "Our patience is running out.  You see how weak and unreliable the Americans are.  You see how strong we are.  You've got a very short window of time to make a deal with us."

If such a deal happens, I won't be surprised if Biden runs to a microphone and blames the Taiwanese.

Exclusive from Gen. Flynn: Since New DHS Alert, You're a Potential Terrorist if You Oppose White House Lies
[Excerpt]

. . . [Commenting on} the most recent Department of Homeland Security issuance on Friday of a nationwide terrorism alert message titled “National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin.”:

To be frank, I was stunned and found myself asking, have we, the United States of America, sunk to a new low? Although we are approaching the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks against our nation, this terrorism alert does not say one word about Muslim extremism being a threat and it barely mentions al-Qaida.

Rather, this terrorism bulletin focuses on the Bidens’ political opponents. Its sweeping rhetoric was so broad that it could put under suspicion more than half of all Americans. Is the Biden administration redefining domestic terrorism? Will having a pro-American set of beliefs and using the word “patriot” get you labeled a domestic terrorist?

The alert focuses on those who resist the Anthony Fauci COVID-19 narrative, stating that “threats are also exacerbated by impacts of the ongoing global pandemic, including grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions.” I wonder what “perceived” government restrictions they had in mind — aren’t the real restrictions damaging enough?

The alert also warns that “extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks.” And it warns against “conspiracy theories concerning the origins of COVID-19 and effectiveness of vaccines.”

So if you are a small business owner who managed to survive the last set of shutdowns and are desperately trying to survive the next shutdown, you could be a terrorist. If you believe that vaccines are an irreversible threat to your health that must be avoided at all costs, as I do, you could be a terrorist.

Do you think the Biden administration is attempting to seize more power?

The alert also warns that domestic violent extremists are motivated by “perceived election fraud.” Therefore, if you believe that the nation overwhelmingly elected Donald J. Trump as president of the United States in November 2020, as I do, you could be a terrorist.

Checkpoints in America for this . . .

White House staff let slip that inside their offices, they were weighing the idea of “mandating vaccines for interstate travel,” according to the Associated Press. In other words, they want to check your medical papers before you travel to the state next door!

Checkpoints inside America bring us one step closer to Marxism and tyranny. The White House should NEVER have the power to decide what medical procedures you must undergo before you cross a state line. Remember what we said in a prior email, “Papers, please!” And you thought that could never happen. Not in America. Well, it will if we remain silent.

What is unfolding is bigger than COVID and the shots. It is about freedom and control. Once lost, freedom is very hard to regain. We need your help to stop this evil. We need help to help people.

On these forced injections, a White House spokesman said their department is simply waiting to push “the right lever at the right time” ... whenever they think you are ready to submit to the next mandate.

The White House source said our love of freedom was the only reason it has “held off.” This spokesman said Biden is working to “make life more uncomfortable for the unvaccinated without spurring a backlash in a deeply polarized country.” Even Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “Scr*w your freedom.”

That’s right, you and millions of other Americans who love freedom are now the problem. Sounds a lot like Marxism. This is the most serious threat to freedom!

You must always have the freedom to accept or reject these shots! NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
Update: July 17th

What took place yesterday in Afghanistan made our withdrawal from Vietnam look like child’s play. Perhaps in World history, there has never been a withdrawal operation that has been handled so disastrously. A President who has been illegitimately elected has brought great shame, in many ways, to our Country!

“Not just for people who have an alphabet . . .” Wycliffe Associates Helps Spoken-Only Language Groups Gain Access to the Scriptures

Wycliffe Associates, an international organization that empowers mother-tongue Bible translators and partners with local churches in the advancement of Bible translation, is helping spoken-only language groups gain access to the Scriptures by strategically equipping and training national Bible translators.

“There are thousands of oral cultures,” says Tim Neu, Chief Operating Officer. “In an oral culture, sounds—words—are the currency of life. Everything of value is heard.”

However, many Christians in these oral cultures live in places of intense persecution, where hostile authorities harass them for their faith. In one country, authorities captured six Christians who were returning home from a Bible translation workshop and seized their equipment. They interrogated the Christians for three days and beat them repeatedly, not allowing them to eat or sleep.

“These are people who greatly need the strength and comfort that can only be found in God’s Word,” says Neu. “They need to know that God loves them, too . . . that God’s grace is for them, too—not just for people who have an alphabet.”

By providing Bible Translation Recording Kits (BTRKs), Wycliffe Associates helps mother-tongue Bible translators use a translation method known as MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation) to translate and record the Scriptures for their language group. (Worthy News) Read more here.

Today the sin is an abomination to the Lord found in Revelation 21:8- cowardice.

There's a SPIRITUAL DROUGHT in every nation on the planet. We are not yet honoring the Authority of the Risen Christ that He revealed in Matthew 28:18: " ALL authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Read More
