This is not an over-estimation of just how scary and just how dangerous this situation is. Is COVID-19 being used to create an American gulag in the name of fighting a pandemic? It sure look like it. People like Governor Andrew Cuomo who’s executive order killed over 11,000 elderly at the start of the COVID crisis.

1. Health Ministry releases demo of COVID-19 green passport app - Jerusalem Post
A demo of the proposed design for the green passport app was presented today by coronavirus commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash at a meeting of the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee on Monday.
The app will allow those who have received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine to enter halls for cultural and sports events, travel abroad without having to quarantine and give access to many other perks once the country begins to reopen.
It looks like many other apps, with a colorful design and pictures. The home screen, in the demo version released on Monday, includes options for Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and Amharic. There will be a separate travel document in English for those traveling abroad and a chart released along with the demo says the app will be available in English as well, although the demo is not.

2. Four parties conspire against Netanyahu with vote deals - Jerusalem Post
In a sign of possible future cooperation in the next government, four parties whose leaders oppose Benjamin Netanyahu remaining prime minister took steps together that could help bring him down.
Yamina head Naftali Bennett and New Hope chairman Gideon Sa’ar signed a surplus-vote sharing agreement between their two parties on Monday. Hours later, Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid and Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman signed a similar deal.
By signing with each other, the four parties have made it harder for Likud, which may lose seats, because no party running will want to aid Netanyahu.
Surplus-vote sharing agreements enable votes for one party beyond what is needed for a mandate to move to another and not be wasted. The method in calculating who gets the surplus votes is called the Bader-Ofer Law, after Gahal MK Yohanan Bader and Alignment MK Avraham Ofer – from the forebears of Likud and Labor, respectively – who proposed it in 1973. The deadline for parties to sign vote sharing agreements is March 12.

3. Defense Minister and Defense Minister Emeritus May Run Together In Upcoming Elections - Israel National News
Benny Gantz, Minister of Defence and head of the Blue and White party, has recently mentioned to members of his party that he is considering a joint ticket with the Yamina party n the upcoming Knesset elections. According to Channel 12, Yamina leader Naftali Bennet is not immediately ruling out such a possibility.
Former Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn claimed that this was actually one of the main driving factors behind his departure from Blue and White
Blue and White responded in a statement: "This is patently false. Gantz is not considering joining Yamina. There have been altogether too many lies and inventions already; politicians need to start focusing on running the country and not on spin-doctoring."
Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beyteinu party, and Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party, meanwhile, have announced an 'extra votes' agreement on Monday night as part of the lead-up to the race for the 24th Knesset. Yamina and Gideon Sa'ar's New Hope party have formulated a similar agreement.

4. Amid fears of attacks on Israelis, UAE said to nab Iranian terror cell - Times of Israel
Amid fears of Iranian revenge attacks on American and Israeli targets for the killing a year ago of top Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani, authorities in the United Arab Emirates have reportedly arrested a number of Iranians in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the past few days on suspicion that they planned to carry out terror attacks there.
Israel’s Channel 12 news said Sunday night that the Iranian suspects were nabbed by UAE intelligence apparatuses and are currently being questioned.
The UAE is believed to be sharing the information revealed in the investigation “with friendly states,” the TV report said.
The UAE on Monday denied that it had foiled any alleged planned terror attacks. It said “rumors” to this effect were “wholly false,” urged “accuracy in reporting,” and called on the public and media “to refer to official sources for information and to avoid circulating unverified reports.”

5. Suicide was main cause of death in IDF in 2020 - Israel National News
On Sunday, the IDF published its mortality statistics for 2020, listing the causes of death for the 28 soldiers who died during the course of the year. The most common cause of death was suicide, with nine soldiers having taken their lives. Five of the nine were combat soldiers, and all but one were male.
Only one soldier lost his life in an operational mission, Channel 13 News notes – this was Amit Ben Yigal, who was killed in May in an operation in northern Samaria. Six soldiers died in road accidents, and two died in work accidents (one of whom was injured several years ago, and succumbed to his injuries last year). Three died in other circumstances not attributable to suicide, and five died of illness.
In 2019, by comparison, 27 soldiers lost their lives, the lowest figure since the establishment of the State. Of those 27, 12 soldiers took their own lives.
Responding to the figures related to suicide, the IDF’s head of Manpower, General Motti Almoz, said that officers would be sent to workshops run by professionals to address the issue. “If a soldier lets it be known that he is feeling suicidal, that’s the easiest type of case to address,” he said. “The main challenge is to identify dangers in advance and to keep track of situations as they develop.” Almoz stressed that emphasis would be placed on investigating past incidents in order to prevent future errors, and noted that this would demand a significant investment of time and resources, due to the large turnover of officers.

1. Pence Welcomes Efforts by Lawmakers to Object to Electoral College Votes on Jan. 6: Report – The Epoch Times
Vice President Mike Pence said he welcomes efforts by lawmakers to challenge Electoral College results in the upcoming congressional joint session on Jan. 6, when the votes are formally counted, according to a statement sent by his chief of staff to reporters.
Vice President Chief of Staff Marc Short issued the statement on Saturday saying that Pence, who will be presiding over the Jan. 6 session as president of the senate, is open to considering planned objections by Republican House members and senators to Electoral College votes cast for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Short added that the vice president also welcomes efforts by lawmakers to present evidence of election irregularities and alleged voter fraud before Congress during that session.
“Vice President Pence shares the concerns of millions of Americans about voter fraud and irregularities in the last election,” Short said in the statement sent to media outlets. Read more

2. Eleven More GOP Senators to Object to Electoral College Votes- The Epoch Times
A group of 11 senators on Saturday announced they’re going to challenge electoral votes during the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress.
“America is a Republic whose leaders are chosen in democratic elections. Those elections, in turn, must comply with the Constitution and with federal and state law,” the group wrote in a joint statement.
“When the voters fairly decide an election, pursuant to the rule of law, the losing candidate should acknowledge and respect the legitimacy of that election. And, if the voters choose to elect a new office-holder, our Nation should have a peaceful transfer of power. The election of 2020, like the election of 2016, was hard fought and, in many swing states, narrowly decided. The 2020 election, however, featured unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations, and lax enforcement of election law, and other voting irregularities.”
The allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election “exceed any in our lifetime,” the group added, noting courts, including the Supreme Court, have repeatedly declined to hear evidence of alleged fraud.
The senators said Congress should immediately appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of election returns in disputed states. Once completed, the states would evaluate the commission’s findings and convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.

President Trump and anyone else linked to the U.S. strike one year ago that killed a notorious Iranian general "will not be safe on Earth," a top official in Tehran warned Friday, according to a report.
Speaking in Tehran on Friday, Ebrahim Raisi, Iran’s judiciary chief, said not even Trump was "immune from justice" for his role in the strike in Baghdad that killed Gen. Qasem Soleimani, a major general in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Times of Israel reported.
"They will witness severe revenge," Raisi told the gathering at Tehran University, referring to Trump and U.S. military leaders. "What has come so far has only been glimpses."
"Do not presume that someone, as the president of America, who appeared as a murderer or ordered a murder, may be immune from justice being carried out. Never," Raisi reportedly continued. "Those who had a role in this assassination and crime will not be safe on Earth."

4. Proposed House Rules Strike Non-Inclusive Words ‘Father,’ ‘Son,’ ‘Sister’: McCarthy Responds. – Daily Wire
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) revealed Friday morning a set of proposed changes to the House rules for the next Congress, which convenes Sunday at noon, including changes that would enshrine gender-inclusive language and cease the use of so-called non-inclusive words.
The proposed rule changes, which will be voted on shortly after the House enters session, would swap out the words father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, husband, and wife for the words parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, and spouse.
Furthermore, references to “chairman” would also be changed to “chair,” references to “he or she” would be swapped out for “member” or “delegate,” when applicable, and references to “seaman” would become “seafarers,” among other language changes.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), reacting to the proposed House rule changes on Twitter, remarked: “This is stupid. Signed, A father, son, and brother.”

5. U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers Deployed To Assist Los Angeles Area Hospitals- Daily Wire
On Friday, the office of California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom announced that officials had teamed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to update oxygen-delivery systems at six Los Angeles County hospitals.
The move comes as the Los Angeles Times reports “the dreaded post-Christmas spike in coronavirus cases appears to be materializing” in America’s most populated county, and ICU capacity in the Southern California region reportedly remains fixed at 0%. According to the Times, “hospitals have gotten so backed up that patients have had to wait outside in ambulances for up to eight hours.”
“By working to upgrade challenged oxygen delivery systems at these older hospitals we can improve the ability to deliver life-sustaining medical care to those who need it,” said Mark Ghilarducci, director of the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
The Army Corps of Engineers works to strengthen national security by, in part, building and maintaining infrastructure. The federal agency would begin to assess the situation as early as Saturday, reports said, as some hospitals have had problems maintaining oxygen pressure amid the latest COVID-19-related surge of admissions.

6. High Percentage Of Frontline Workers Refusing To Take The COVID-19 Vaccine, Many Citing Political Reasons – Daily Wire
Large percentages of health care workers in multiple states have said they would not take the COVID-19 vaccine, with some citing a distrust of the political machinations behind the timeline of the vaccine’s creation.
The New York Post reported Friday that health care works in California, New York City, Ohio, and Texas are refusing to take the vaccine in large numbers. The workers are citing skepticism that the vaccine would work without side effects given how quickly it was developed and approved.
“Earlier this week, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine disclosed that about 60 percent of the nursing home workers in his state have so far chosen not to get vaccinated,” the Post reported. “More than half of New York City’s EMS workers have shown skepticism, The Post reported last month.”
In California, surveys of health care workers at various hospitals have also shown a reluctance to take the vaccine, even though those in the industry are among the first in line to receive it. The Los Angeles Times reported that about 50% of workers at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Tehama County have refused to take the vaccine even though it has been offered. About 20% of workers at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills have also declined, the outlet reported.

7. Federal Court Rules Trump Can Bar Uninsured Immigrants From Entering United States – The Epoch Times
A federal appeals court in California on Thursday ruled to lift a ban on President Donald Trump’s proclamation that blocks immigrants from entering the United States if they lack health insurance or the means to pay for hospital bills.
In a Dec. 31 opinion (pdf), the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco said that Trump acted within his authority when, in October 2019, he signed the Proclamation on the Suspension of Entry of Immigrants Who Will Financially Burden the United States Healthcare System. The ruling reverses a federal court decision to block the implementation of the president’s order, delivering a win for proponents of tighter controls over immigration.
Trump’s order restricts entry of immigrant visa applicants who cannot prove that they either will acquire qualifying healthcare coverage within 30 days of entry or have the ability to pay for reasonably foreseeable healthcare expenses. The president said in the proclamation that American taxpayers bear the costs associated with providing health care to uninsured immigrants, coming in the form of higher taxes, higher premiums, and higher fees for medical services.
After Trump issued the proclamation, seven U.S. citizens sued, claiming the order unfairly blocked their family members from immigrating to the United States. A district judge in Oregon issued a nationwide preliminary injunction in the case in November 2019, blocking implementation of Trump’s order while the lawsuit continued, arguing that the proclamation was likely illegal and the plaintiffs were likely to succeed on the merits of the case.

8. Pelosi Names First Female Chaplain for U.S. House of Representatives—Replacing Catholic Priest – CNS News
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) announced today that she was naming Rear Admiral Margaret Grun Kibben to replace Father Pat Conroy, who is retiring, as the chaplain of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Kibben, who is a Presbyterian minister, will be the first woman to serve as the chaplain of the House.
“It is my honor to announce the appointment of Rear Admiral Margaret Grun Kibben to serve as Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives: the first woman to serve in this historic position, which has been enshrined in our Democracy since the First Congress in 1789,” Pelosi said in a statement.
“Kibben brings decades of decorated experience in the military and the ministry, as a retired Rear Admiral who served as the U.S. Navy’s Chief Chaplain and the chaplain of the Marine Corps,” said Pelosi.

9. Six-Person Team Briefed Hundreds of State Senators on Election Irregularities –The Epoch Times
A six-person team that included Rudy Giuliani and Peter Navarro on Saturday briefed hundreds of state lawmakers on evidence of election irregularities.
The Zoom meeting included hundreds of legislators across Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Navarro, the White House director of trade and manufacturing policy, said during an appearance on Fox News.
“These legislators, they’re hot, they’re angry, they want action,” Navarro said. “We gave them the receipts. We explained exactly how the Democrat Party, as a matter of strategy, stole this election from Donald J. Trump.”
According to Got Freedom?, a nonprofit election integrity watchdog, the meeting included an address by President Donald Trump. Nearly 300 legislators heard from the president, Navarro, and Trump’s lawyer, Giuliani.
John Eastman and John Lott were also part of the briefing. Eastman represented Texas in the now-dismissed interstate challenge to the outcome of the election. Lott, a senior adviser for research and statistics for the Department of Justice, authored a recently released report on election theft.

10. Exclusive — Sen. David Perdue: Democrat Jon Ossoff Is ‘Compromised by the Chinese Communist Party’ - Breitbart
Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) told Breitbart News exclusively on Saturday that his Democrat opponent in Tuesday’s upcoming runoff election, Jon Ossoff, is “compromised” by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in much the same way other young Democrats have been targeted by CCP agents.
Perdue made the allegation on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel, and it comes after a series of damaging revelations about Ossoff have emerged in recent weeks. It also comes after Ossoff was finally confronted, by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, about the matter last week on the campaign trail in Georgia.
Perdue compared Ossoff, whose documentary film company has financial ties to the CCP through a state-backed media enterprise, to Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and to Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden. Perdue argued that Ossoff’s situation is actually worse than Swalwell’s or Hunter Biden’s because Ossoff went into business with CCP-connected companies and then covered it up by not disclosing the relationship in financial disclosure forms. Perdue said Ossoff committed a federal crime by failing to disclose this information required of candidates on personal financial disclosures.
“The CCP has identified for some time young ambitious liberal politicians,” Perdue said. “You see it now coming out in Eric Swalwell. You see it in Hunter Biden. Now, you have Jon Ossoff. I think Jon Ossoff is actually as or more serious than the other two for this reason: He knowingly worked for the Chinese Communist Party for two years. He hid it from the primary voters in Georgia this year. He did not disclose it. He got caught. Then he finally disclosed it, and that’s a federal crime to not disclose it, by the way. He finally amended his filing and got caught again, then lied about it again.”

Threats to your Religious Freedom (Part 1)

While there will be many stories, counter-stories, conspiracy theories and lies told in the next few days, no matter what happens with the electoral college, there are certain threats to your freedom that will remain both domestic and foreign. Here in the United States, the constant drone of anti-Christian rhetoric by Democratic Party leaders, including the deconstruction of familial terms and class warfare already documented in the House Committee on Rules. Led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the Democrats are introducing new “visionary rules” that reflect the “views and values” of the Democratic majority and priorities as “a Country.” This presumption is only part of what will limit your freedom.
In a news release, Pelosi outlines all the rules changes for the House of Representatives. Among them are to “require standing committees to include in their oversight plans a discussion of how committee work over the forthcoming Congress will address issues of inequities on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or national origin; honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral.” This means that all biblical familial names will be deconstructed by the House across all committees and House hearings. It is an excellent example of how communism calls for the abolishment of the family.
The rule states that the words to be done away with are: “father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, first cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in- law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, step-mother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, step-sister, half brother, half sister, grandson, or grand-daughter.” Words to be used instead are: “parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, first cousin, sibling’s child, spouse, parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, stepparent, step-child, stepsibling, half-sibling, or grandchild.” This level of “wokeness” by Congress may seem to some a proper progressive adjustment, but take heed that this is just another step toward limiting your religious freedom.
The Holy Scriptures show us that the Lord holds family and family order in high esteem. He is not gender-neutral in describing the functions of family and relationships between family members. The words Husband and Wife are often used, as are Son and Daughter. Ephesians 6:2-3 says, “Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” Doing away with these terms are teeth in a gearbox to deconstruct the core strength of this nation—the family—and create an atmosphere where those who cling to biblical terms and beliefs are ostracized, further restricting religious freedom by virtue of social pressure, soft tyranny.
