1. Netanyahu to coordinate with UAE, Bahrain on Iran - Israel Hayom

A cabinet meeting postponed until Sunday will likely be devoted to the Iranian threat.
Israel is very concerned by recent Iranian actions that include but are not limited to increased uranium enrichment, as well as by stronger messages from the Biden administration that it intends to remove US sanctions on Iran and return to the 2015 nuclear deal.

These issues are expected to take up most of the agenda of Sunday's cabinet meeting.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that he intends to pay a short visit the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi, as well as Bahrain, next week to coordinate positions on the Iranian issue as well as iron out a unified line to present to the new American administration. (Read more)

2. Jewish Home to support Yamina, not run in elections - Israel National News

The chairwoman of the Jewish Home Party, Hagit Moshe, and the chairman of the Yamina party, Naftali Bennett, decided Thursday evening to reach an agreement that would prevent the erasure of the Jewish Home movement from the political map, after contacts with the Religious Zionism and Otzma Yehudit broke down.

Bennett acceded to Moshe's request, and the two concluded the following: The Jewish Home Party will not run independently in the elections to the 24th Knesset, but will demand full support for the Yamina list led by Naftali Bennett and will support Bennett's candidacy for prime minister.

The Yamina party, when entering the government or in forming the next government, will arrange for the appointment of Hagit Moshe as a minister in the government who will have sway in matters of religious Zionism and the rules of the Knesset, Torah centers, national service, hesder meetings and pre-military preparatory schools, and settlements. 3. PM appoints ex-prison chief as czar to counter violence in Arab sector - YNET News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday appointed the former head of the Israel Prison Service as a czar to counter violence in the Arab sector.

Violence has been ravaging the Arab communities in recent month, with local residents and some lawmakers accusing the government of not doing enough to prevent it. A shootout in the Arab town of Tamra on Monday night ended with a medical student accidentally killed, having been caught in the cross fire.

The appointment of Aharon Franco, however, caused a stir among some Arab officials due to remarks he made in 2009 while serving as Commander of the Jerusalem District Police, when he called the Arab community "ungrateful". "I got to work with him and be impressed by his seriousness, his professionalism and his fairness. He has very rich professional experience and has relations with the Arab leaders," Netanyahu said during a press conference.(Read more)

4. Elections: Likud appoints first ever Arab candidate to unrealistic slot - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu revealed his Likud party's first ever Arab candidate on Thursday night, former school principle Nael Zoabi.
Netanyahu called on Arab citizens to cast their ballots for Likud, instead of the Joint List that broke up on Thursday into two parts.

"Arab citizens are sick of wasting their votes on parties in the opposition," Netanyahu said. "Only the Likud can guarantee to improve their lives, and that is exactly what we will do."
Zoabi thanked Netanyahu for the opportunity to run and for what he has done for the Arab sector. (Read more)

5. Hezbollah Fires at IDF Drone Flying over Lebanon - Jewish Press

An IDF drone flying over Lebanon on Wednesday was fired at, apparently by the Hezbollah terror organization, a significant escalation of tensions in the area.

The IDF stated that anti-aircraft fire was launched at a remotely manned aircraft during a routine operation over Lebanese territory. The drone was not damaged and continued its mission, the IDF said.

The last similar incident occurred in October 2019 when an SA8 surface-to-air missile was fired at an Israeli drone but missed its mark.

Hezbollah on Monday announced that it had downed an IDF drone flying over southern Lebanon. The IDF said that it had crashed and that there was no fear of an intelligence leakage.(Read more)

1. Warnock: ‘Shameful’ Georgia Republicans Moving to End No-Excuse Absentee Voting, Ballot Drop Boxes - Brietbart

This is shameful,” the newly-elected senator said of the proposals. “We need to swiftly pass the For The People Act to strengthen access to the ballot and prevent voter suppression from silencing our voices”:

Republican state senators in Georgia introduced bills Monday targeting a number of controversial voting issues, including no-excuse absentee voting. According to AJC, the measure would limit absentee voting to “those over 75 years old, voters with disabilities or anyone required to be absent from his or her precinct.”

The measures also include efforts to ban ballot drop boxes, requiring absentee voters to instead send their ballot in through the mail or deliver it to the country election office. Another proposal would prevent automatic voter registration. (Read more)

May voter integrity instead be upheld by the passage of the bills introduced that target the use of ballot drop boxes, and the prevention of automatic voter registration. 2. Sen. Tom Cotton Releases DREAM Act Analysis: Work Permits for Millions of Illegal Aliens, ‘Ignores Criminal Records’ - Brietbart

The document, which Breitbart News has obtained exclusively, reveals the push for a DREAM Act would grant upwards of 2 million illegal aliens work permits immediately and eventually full citizenship.

The document conducts a legislative analysis of the most recent iteration of the DREAM Act, from back in the 116th Congress when it was introduced in 2019. That bill is very similar to whatever lawmakers will introduce if and when they pursue a DREAM Act strategy to break up the Biden amnesty agenda into little pieces rather than the original failing broad bill.

Citing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), Cotton’s document notes that the DREAM Act would give “work permits and eventual citizenship” to more than 2 million illegal aliens. That number includes many more illegal aliens than applied for or received former President Barack Obama’s first executive amnesty, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The DREAM Act also, according to Cotton’s office, “ignores criminal records” of the illegal aliens being granted amnesty including whether they have “multiple criminal convictions at the federal or state level” and especially whether they committed “serious, violent felonies pled down to lesser offenses.” (Read more)

- Lord God, thank You for Senator Cotton's analysis of the Dream Act. May it show clearly the overreach of this bill. May all of Congress see the potential abuse of ignoring the criminal records of these illegal immigrants. 3. BOMBSHELL: Arizona Senate Resolution Threatens Arrest of Maricopa County Board for Failure to Adhere to Subpoena for Election Equipment & Ballots. - The National Pulse

The Senate introduced the resolution Wednesday afternoon. Timing on a full Senate vote is unclear, but all 16 Republican senators are listed as sponsors, meaning it is virtually certain to pass. If the resolution is enacted, the five members of the county board could be arrested for failing to comply. It authorizes Senate President Karen Fann to take “all legal action” needed to enforce the subpoena.

The Senate has demanded access to voting machines and all 2.1 million ballots cast in the election. The board has said it can’t comply because ballots are sealed by law and the voting machines the Senate wants to examine need to remain secure.

Board Chairman Jack Sellers said Wednesday he was frustrated that the Senate was threatening to find the board in contempt, saying he met personally with Senate President Karen Fann and thought both sides agreed to try to settle the issue. “I want to be clear: the county will participate in any court hearing with the Senate if they plan to argue the restrictions on ballots should be waived,” Sellers said in a statement. “Instead of suggesting that we are violating the laws the Legislature wrote, they should turn their attention to finding a solution. “If they truly believe in the legality of their position, they will join us in seeking a solution through the courts,” Sellers said. 4. Watch: Rand Paul Grills Biden Nominee on Boys Competing in Girls' Athletics - The Western Journal

Joe Biden’s nominee for Secretary of Education embarrassed himself during his confirmation hearing when asked if it’s fair for girls to be forced to compete against boys in sports competitions. On the first day of his presidency, Biden issued a controversial executive order requiring any school that receives federal funding to allow males who identify as female to compete on girls’ sports teams. The order also forces girls to share bathrooms and locker rooms with transgender individuals.

During a tense exchange Wednesday before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky asked Miguel Cardona if it’s appropriate for boys to compete against girls in sports, given their physical advantages over females. Paul, a physician, said Biden’s transgender policy “would completely destroy girls’ athletics” and deprive girls of college scholarships and opportunities to win competitions.

“If you’re confirmed, will you enforce that Office of Civil Rights opinion?” Paul asked. Cardona refused to directly answer the question and instead responded with vague platitudes. "Is it fair to allow boys to compete in girls' sports?" “I understand that there are a lot of concerns about that,” he stammered. “If confirmed, it’s my responsibility and my privilege to make sure that we’re following civil rights of all students, and that includes activities that they may engage in in high school or in athletics.”

Paul then pressed Cardona in a bid to force him to directly answer the question. “What do you think in general of boys running in girls’ track meets like they’ve been doing in Connecticut?” he asked. Cardona again refused to answer the question and made ambiguous statements about how sensitive the issue is. (Read more)

5. Ukraine Scandal Resurfaces as Biden Now Faces Possible Impeachment - Intercessors for America

Articles of impeachment were filed against Joe Biden the day after inauguration by freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) citing “corrupt actions involving his quid pro quo in Ukraine and his abuse of power by allowing his son, Hunter Biden, to siphon off cash from America’s greatest enemies Russia and China.”

Congresswoman Greene released the following statement, “President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the Presidency. His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama’s Vice President is lengthy and disturbing. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family’s pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies.

“President Biden is even on tape admitting to a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian government threatening to withhold $1,000,000,000 in foreign aid if they did not do his bidding. President Biden residing in the White House is a threat to national security and he must be immediately impeached.”

In an attempt to discredit Greene for her actions, the media has introduced a smear campaign. In addition, Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) has filed charges against her in an attempt to penalize her for speaking out. This seems to be the norm for Democrat leadership who have also convened a secretive committee to force Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) to resign for raising questions of election fraud before certification of electoral votes. It doesn’t seem to matter that it was their job to raise such questions and they did it in the forum in which it was allowed. (Read more)

May Your favor rest upon them bringing supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honor, greater victories, recognition, prominence, preferential treatment, and battles won in which they do not have to fight.

6. Trump Ended Kids in Cages - Is Biden Now Bringing Them Back? - The Western Journal
For years, former President Donald Trump was accused of putting migrant children in cages under what was actually an Obama-era policy. Now, President Joe Biden is reopening a Texas facility that seems suspiciously reminiscent of the ones former President Barack Obama utilized during his administration.

According to CNN, the facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, will serve as an overflow area for children who arrive at the border. “The reopening of the facility comes amid an increase in apprehensions of unaccompanied children on the Southwest border, fueled in part by deteriorating conditions in Latin America and a perceived possible relaxation of enforcement, and reduced capacity limits at other facilities due to Covid-19,” the outlet said. As CNN reluctantly admitted, Biden’s relaxation of immigration policies is already causing more migrants to flood the border.

The outlet can blame “perception” or the pandemic all it wants, but the truth is that Biden is already paying the price for his radical decisions on immigration. While it is not clear what conditions will be like at the facility, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas accused the Biden administration of “putting kids in cages” once again. As Cruz mentioned in his Wednesday tweet, migrant children are at risk of being taken by human traffickers. This is a problem that Obama encountered, according to a 2016 report from The Washington Post.

“The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations,” The Post said, based on an investigative report released that year.

The failure resulted in horrible abuses of migrant children. (Read more)

We repent that, once again, in his short term in office, this new "president' has done so much damage to our country. Reverse this curse, O Lord we pray, amen and amen.

7. Facing 'significant influx' of Capitol siege cases, DOJ issues 'urgent' internal plea for help to offices across country - Yahoo News

Facing "a significant influx of cases" from the fatal siege of the U.S. Capitol last month, the Justice Department has issued an internal plea for help to federal prosecutors across the country, asking the department's 93 U.S. attorneys' offices to send capable personnel to the office in Washington. "The (office) has an urgent need for assistance with prosecuting hundreds of criminal cases," a senior Justice Department official wrote in an email to U.S. attorneys and other federal prosecutors last week. "Based on the importance and immediacy of the need, we ask each United States Attorney to consider whether he or she can offer critical assistance to the (office in Washington)."

The Justice Department official requested that offices respond by the end of this week.

In the initial aftermath of the siege, which left at least five people dead, including a U.S. Capitol Police officer, many U.S. attorneys publicly vowed that each of their offices would track down and prosecute any rioters who came from their jurisdictions. "Let me be perfectly clear," the U.S. attorney in South Carolina, Peter McCoy, posted to Twitter just hours after the Capitol was breached on Jan. 6. "Anyone who traveled from the District of South Carolina with intent to aid this travesty or commit acts of destruction will be prosecuted by (my office)." Nearly a dozen other U.S. attorneys posted similar messages about the role that their own offices would play in prosecuting cases from the siege. But so far, the U.S. attorney's office in Washington has taken charge of every single case filed by federal authorities -- more than 180 cases in the past month.

Some of those charged live in Washington, but many others came from 39 different states across the country, according to a database operated by George Washington University's Program on Extremism. "The cases are all being charged here in D.C.," the acting U.S. attorney in Washington, Michael Sherwin, told reporters nine days after the siege. "And what makes this case, in particular, unprecedented and unusual and extremely complex is the fact that after the event, obviously thousands of people went back to their home districts. And that has complicated things." (Read more)

8. House Democrats file resolution to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of committee assignments - ABC News
House Democrats -- furious over House Republican leadership's lackluster attempts to rein in controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene -- are weighing a multitude of options in dealing with her themselves. Greene, a freshman member from Georgia, has a long record of making incendiary remarks ranging from allegedly supporting violence against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats, to spreading baseless claims that mass school shootings were staged.

Democrats have previously called on Greene to be expelled from Congress or formally censured. "Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene must be held accountable for her reprehensible statements, and I am discussing with members the best course of action to do so," House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said in a statement provided to ABC News. Hoyer has spoken with House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy about a path forward in dealing with Greene, according to an aide. The aide declined to provide more details of their private conversation.

On Monday, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said she plans to introduce a resolution that would strip Greene of her committee assignments if Republicans don't immediately take the matter up themselves. "Today, I have a resolution to remove Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments, both on the House Education and Labor, and the House Budget Committees, based on her actions and statements and her belligerent refusal to disavow them," Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz told reporters on a call. (Read more)

9. Rep. Jordan: 'Dangerous Precedent' to Let Dems Decide Republican Committee Assignments - CNSNews.com

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told Fox News he doesn't think Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) should lose her place on the House Education and Budget Committees, as Democrats and some Republicans are demanding. "I mean, that's never happened, where the other party decides what our party -- or we decide (who) their party can have on committee assignments. That just never happened in the House. So, I certainly don't think that's appropriate. I don't think she should lose her committee assignments. We'll see what happens."

But I think the American people are tired of the double standard. Look, go back to the tragic and terrible things that happened on January 6th. Republicans condemn all political violence all the time. We condemn the terrible things that happened on January 6th, and the loss of life -- Mr. Sicknick and his family, who we all are thinking about and praying for this evening. We condemn all of that violence that took place on the 6th.

But we also condemned everything that happened last summer. But you have Democrat members of Congress, who said -- last summer, who said, we need more unrest in the streets, Shannon, while there was unrest in the streets. Now, if that's not incitement, I don't know what is.

We didn't say that that individual should be kicked off of their committees. . . When you start having the swamp decide who gets to serve where and not the people across this country in their respective districts, that's a dangerous road to head down and a dangerous precedent to set. But that's about -- that's where the Democrats are thinking about going, and it will not be healthy for the institution. More importantly, it won't be healthy for the country. (Read more)

10. Public Nativity Scenes Don’t Violate the Constitution, Appeals Court Rules in Major Religious Liberty Case - Christian Headlines

An appeals court handed supporters of public religious displays a major victory Tuesday, ruling that a nativity scene outside an Indiana courthouse does not violate the U.S. Constitution.

At issue was a Christmas nativity scene in Brownstown, Ind., which depicts Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus surrounded by the wise men, the shepherds and angels. The scene is part of a larger holiday display that also includes a depiction of Santa Claus, reindeer and Christmas carolers. Brownstown is the seat of Jackson County, Ind.

An Indiana citizen, Rebecca Woodring, sued the county and argued the nativity display violates the U.S. Constitution. She is an atheist.

But the U.S. Seventh Circuit of Appeals, in a 2-1 decision, upheld the display as constitutional. (Read more)

As we are living in a post-truth world, where information is weaponized to gain as much attention as possible without regard for truth, it is imperative that we, as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, discern truth that we not be deceived. So many people just look at a headline and believe it to be true because they want to believe it, rather than look into what is actually true. Often, I have been asked “how do you discern the truth?” Today, I want to give you an example and walk you through how even a conservative media site can distort the truth to attract viewership, what is called in the business “eyes.” This example is the headline: “Nonvoters, Registered Democrats Among Those Arrested at Capitol Protest.”

Immediately, those who want to believe that the January 6 assault on the Capitol was infiltrated by Democrats, Antifa and Black Lives Matter extremists who hijacked the peaceful protest of conservatives will respond to this headline, “Ahah! See, I told you so.” And then go on without reading the story or checking into it further, pass on the content of the headline to others. This particular headline is Breitbart’s interpretation of a CNN story reporting that of 180 arrested, it was able to obtain voting records for more than 80 of the initial arrestees. CNN reported, “at least eight of the people who are now facing criminal charges for their involvement in the events at the Capitol did not vote in the November 2020 presidential election.”

CNN further wrote: “Most voted in the presidential election, and while many were registered Republicans, a handful were registered as Democrats in those jurisdictions that provided party information — though who someone votes for is not publicly disclosed. Public access to voter history records varies by state, and CNN was unable to view the records of some of those charged.” So what we are seeing here is that the Breitbart headline, while technically accurate, was slanted toward a narrative. Newsmax was a bit more responsible with its headline in re-covering the CNN story, “Some Capitol Rioters Didn’t Vote in 2020 Election.” I believe that Breitbart and Newsmax are good news sources, but you still have to verify.

CNN slanted toward those who want to believe that all conservatives are terrorists with its click bait headline of the same story, “They stormed the Capitol to overturn the results of an election they didn’t vote in.” Three headlines for one story that was originally written by CNN. Three differing takes. All three fit the narrative of the reader actually believing what he/she wanted to believe, but all three got “eyes.” You had to do some research to get to the truth, which was actually buried deep in the CNN story, reporting on only 8 people. How many memes, conspiracy reports, false narratives and lies do you think came out of those headlines, were embellished, and were passed on as a certain version of “truth”? As Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” It takes work and responsibility to discern truth in a post-truth world.

MEMBERS OF CONGRESS ARE BEING SILENCED FOR VOICING THEIR OWN VIEWS

In an attempt to discredit (Rep. Marjorie Taylor) Greene for her actions, the media has introduced a smear campaign. In addition, Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) has filed charges against her in an attempt to penalize her for speaking out. This seems to be the norm for Democrat leadership who have also convened a secretive committee to force Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) to resign for raising questions of election fraud before certification of electoral votes. It doesn’t seem to matter that it was their job to raise such questions and they did it in the forum in which it was allowed.

We need to pray as these congressional members are being attacked, simply for speaking out regarding areas of concern. If they are removed, penalized and demeaned simply for speaking up, then freedom of speech has been completely destroyed along with the ability for discussion and debate on any issue.

How to pray:

That the attempts to silence or smear senators or representatives for raising areas of concern would be brought to a halt.
That these secretive committees, which began as they tried to impeach President Trump and now to force the resignation of Cruz and Hawley, would be brought to an end. It is both biblical and a constitutional right to be able to face our accusers. When secretive meetings are held to try to create evidence it removes this right.
That the fear tactics of reprisal if we speak up will be stopped. These are tactics of communism and not a Republic. We need to hold to our foundations and freedoms.
For righteous leaders who will follow after godly wisdom to be in place and for ungodly leaders to be removed.

Please Pray for Myanmar (Formerly "Burma")

We brought breaking news a few days ago of the military coup in Myanmar. The situation there is extremely serious.

The brief history is.... independence from the British rule - 4 January 1948. First military coup - 2 March 1962. Second military coup - 8 September 1988. Third military coup - 1 February 2021.

On February 1, 2021 the Myanmar military detained Aung San Suu Kyi and other government leaders in a coup. They announced that they will take control for at least one year. The internet was shut down, but it appears to be partially back online. Day to day life is a challenge as soldiers are out on the streets and banks are closed. People are angry, sad and fearful of the uncertainty of what comes next. Read More Here

'We're Just Getting Started': God Poured out His Presence During 'Let Us Worship' Events in Florida

Souls are being saved and God is being lifted up in Florida as worship leader Sean Feucht presses ahead with his outdoor "Let Us Worship" rallies across the U.S.

Feucht arrived in Jacksonville on Saturday where hundreds of people gathered at Hemming Park to pray, sing, and lift up the name of Jesus.

"Jacksonville was a night I will never ever forget!!!! Thank you Jesus for moving with power!" Feucht declared on Twitter.

We were able to honor and pray over the police tonight in Jacksonville before we started.

It was a powerful moment!

During a recent interview with CBN News, Feucht said he plans to continue spreading God's Word across the country during his Let Us Worship events.

"I believe this is going to be an incredible hour for the church - 2021 is going to be a beautiful hour for the church in America. With the intensity of this season as we've seen all over the world and revival history, the church always rises to the occasion and I believe it's going to happen this year and I'm so excited. We're seeing thousands gather together in these cities across America. There is a hunger that I've never seen before and I believe it's going to increase. Nothing can stop the spread of an unstoppable Kingdom."
