COVID nurse explains becoming a whistleblower: 'I recorded them murdering patients'
TULSA, Oklahoma, April 26, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Erin Maria Olzewski, the whistleblower nurse who made headlines last year documenting “fraud, negligence, and greed” that “led to unnecessary deaths” during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, sat down with LifeSiteNews during the Health & Freedom Conference to share her experience and reflections.
A native of Wisconsin, yet a current resident of the Tampa, Florida area, Olzewski, explained how she volunteered to temporarily work as a travel nurse in New York City telling LifeSite’s Rebekah Roberts, “we weren’t seeing a large influx of [COVID-19] patients” in Florida.
Upon arrival she was surprised to find that she “sat around for three days with nothing to do” and learned that other nurses had been “sitting around for 21 days or an entire month getting paid $10,000 a week,” without any assignment. “If they needed nurses so badly, why are you bringing me here if there’s nurses sitting around?” she asked, describing this as her first “red flag” that the reality of the situation in New York was not what was being reported in the news media.
And, “lucky me,” she said with a smile and a touch of sarcasm, “I did get assigned to Elmhurst Hospital [in Queens] which ended up being ‘the epicenter of the epicenter’” for reported COVID-19 fatalities.
“The very first day [at Elmhurst] I was shocked. It was something I’ve never seen before,” she said. “Patients were alone in the rooms on ventilators [with] no family allowed in [to advocate for them]. People were just dying from gross negligence, medical malpractice, [and] mismanagement.”
“For me, that was really difficult to swallow. Everything made sense to me at that moment of why there were so many deaths in New York,” she said.
Following a good cry back in her hotel room, she eventually contacted an attorney in New York, secured a “pair of spyglasses” and began to document what she saw in the hospital. (Read more)

1. Israel Braces for Fallout as Abbas Expected to Delay Palestinian Elections - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces is bracing for possible unrest following the expected delay of the Palestinian elections on Thursday, which would likely be blamed on Israel, Channel 12 reported Wednesday.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to declare that he is postponing the legislative vote — the first in 15 years, scheduled for next month — over the question of voting rights for Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, which Israel considers part of its unified capital.
Hamas, the Islamist terror group that is the de facto ruler of Gaza, said in a statement Wednesday that it would hold Israel responsible if the vote is pushed off.
“Jerusalem is a red line,” Hamas said, according to Hebrew media reports of the statement, adding that Palestinians cannot hold elections without the participation of East Jerusalem residents. The terror group said that not holding the legislative election on May 22 would be a denial of the rights of the Palestinians. (Read more)
2. Bennett Meets with United Arab List Chief Mansour Abbas - Israel National News
Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett met Wednesday morning with the chief of the United Arab List (Ra’am) faction, just days before the expiration of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s mandate to form a new government.
Bennett met with MK Mansour Abbas, chairman of the UAL, in Bennett’s Knesset office Wednesday, according to the Yamina party.
The two discussed the two parties amid the current political situation,” Bennett’s office said in a statement. “They had a good meeting.”
The meeting comes as Netanyahu’s mandate from President Reuven Rivlin to form a new government enters its final week. (Read more)
3. In U-Turn, Netanyahu Agrees to Make Gantz Justice Minister - Algemeiner
i24 News – Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Wednesday that he supports the appointment of Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz for the position of justice minister.
The announcement was delivered just hours before Israel’s Supreme Court was to rule on the legality of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempt to nominate a justice minister from his own party.
“The prime minister has submitted a detailed response to the High Court that completely rejects the argument that yesterday’s vote in the cabinet was against the law,” a statement released from the Prime Minister’s Office said.
“However, after the prime minister’s proposals for a compromise were also rejected, and in order to get out of the deadlock and allow the necessary activities of the Justice Ministry to resume, the prime minister decided to appoint Benny Gantz as justice minister of the transitional government.” (Read more)
4. Azerbaijan Decides to Open Tourism, Trade Offices in Israel - Jewish Press
Azerbaijan announced Wednesday its decision to open a Tourism Promotion Office and a Trade Office, with diplomatic status, in Israel.
Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi led the Israeli delegation to the second meeting of the Israel-Azerbaijan Joint Committee (the first meeting took place in 2018), which was held online and dealt with the promotion of bilateral relations and trade between the two countries.
The head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the meeting, Economy Minister Mikhail Jabarov, announced at the meeting Wednesday that this year Azerbaijan intends to open a Tourism Promotion Office in the coming months as well as a Trade Office, with diplomatic status, in Israel.
“Azerbaijan is an ally, friend, and the largest energy supplier to the State of Israel,” Ashkenazi said in a statement. (Read more)
5. Human Rights Watch Really Wants to Push Israel and PA into One State - Jerusalem Post
Reports slamming Israel for “apartheid” have been driven by a desire to reset the definition of apartheid and redefine Israel, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as one state. This attempt to shoehorn several different areas, run by three different authorities, into one place is at the heart of new human rights report about Israel.
This appears timed for the new Biden administration, which came into office in January. The message to Israel is also clear: Even if the Jewish state withdraws from the West Bank, as it did from Gaza, it will still be defined as “apartheid” by these groups. The goal appears to provide no way for Israel to extricate itself from this new definition, which calls into question whether the real goal is to try to force it to assume control of Gaza and rule over millions of people without their consent.
The new Human Rights Watch report, released this week, says that it examines Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. “It presents the present-day reality of a single authority, the Israeli government, ruling primarily over the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, populated by two groups of roughly equal size, and methodologically privileging Jewish Israelis while repressing Palestinians, most severely in the occupied territory.” (Read more)

1. Federal authorities search Rudy Giuliani’s New York apartment, reports - Just The News
Federal authorities in New York on Wednesday raided former city Mayor and President Trump’s attorney’s Upper West Side apartment, as part of a criminal probe into his work in Ukraine, according to multiple news reports.
The investigators confiscated Rudy Giuliani’s electronic devices as part of a search warrant, according to the New York Times, which cited sources. Authorities are investigating whether Giuliani lobbied the Trump administration in 2019 illegally on behalf of Ukrainian officials and businessmen.
At the same time, those Ukrainian officials allegedly helped Giuliani search for dirt on Trump’s political rivals, including current President Biden. The United States Attorney’s office in Manhattan and the F.B.I. had sought to secure a search warrant for Giuliani’s phones for months. (Read more)

2. Judge Rejects Democrats’ Bid to Immediately Halt Arizona 2020 Election Audit - Epoch Times
An Arizona judge on Wednesday rejected an attempt by the Arizona Democratic Party to immediately halt an audit of the 2020 election going on in the state’s largest county.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Daniel Martin said Democrats did not provide “substantive evidence of any breaches or threatened breaches of voter privacy.”
The lawsuit, filed just before the audit started last week, may ultimately succeed, the judge added. But it fell short of the “strong likelihood” of succeeding standard required for a temporary restraining order.
Martin said he could also not say that the balance of hardship in the case or public policy favors the plaintiffs. (Read more)

3. Oklahoma governor signs laws to ban virtually all abortions - Life Site News
Oklahoma’s Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt signed into law Monday three new measures “protecting the lives of the unborn” from effectively all abortions, though at least two of the laws are likely to be put on hold by the courts before taking effect.
KOKH reports that the first law makes it a homicide to abort any baby with a detectable heartbeat. The second law makes it “unprofessional conduct” to abort a baby for any reason other than to save a mother’s life, regardless of whether a heartbeat can be detected. The third law forbids anyone other than board-certified OB/GYNs from performing abortions. All three are slated to take effect November 1.
Direct abortion bans such as the first two laws, which take effect well before the Supreme Court’s “fetal viability” threshold, are generally not expected to ban abortion in the near term, because they are consistently enjoined by lawsuits from the abortion industry. (Read more)

4. Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey Signs Sweeping Pro-Life Bill Banning Down Syndrome Abortions - Brietbart
Senate Bill 1457 bans providers from performing abortions “knowing that the abortion is sought because of a genetic abnormality of the child.”
The bill makes it a Class 6 felony to perform an abortion solely due to the existence of a genetic abnormality, or to threaten or intimidate a woman into having an abortion because of a genetic abnormality.
“The bill does not apply to cases where the child has a lethal fetal condition and does not prohibit abortion sought for other reasons allowed by law, including the life and health of the mother,” the governor’s office stated in a press release. (Read more)

5. IDAHO: State bans Marxist critical race theory in public schools - WND
The Idaho State Legislature has become the first in the nation to put a bill on a governor's desk that would ban Marxist-based critical race theory from being taught in public schools.
Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, Texas and West Virginia are among other states considering bans on such teaching, which regards America and Western Civilization as inherently racist.
On Monday, the Idaho state Senate passed the bill 28-7 after the House approved it 57-12. Both votes went along party lines, with the exception of Republican Sen. Dan Johnson joining Democrats in opposition. It now goes to Republican Governor Brad Little.

8. Biden Admin Tries to Force Doctors, Hospitals to Perform Gender Transition Surgeries Even if They Object - Faith Wire
The Biden administration on Tuesday filed an appeal to find a way to force physicians and hospitals to perform potentially harmful gender transition surgeries on patients – including children – even if they have religious objections.
The Daily Caller reports Biden’s appeal hinges on a 2016 Obama-era interpretation of a nondiscrimination clause of the Affordable Care Act, resulting in a mandate that did not include conscience or religion exemptions. The mandate required doctors and hospitals to provide transgender surgeries upon a mental health professional’s referral.
As CBN News reported in January, a federal court in North Dakota struck down a directive known as the “Transgender Mandate” that was issued under the Obama administration, forcing members of the health care community to violate their medical judgment and religious beliefs.

9. Former Obama White House Advisor Charged With Stealing Over $200K From Charter School Network - Daily Wire
Federal authorities arrested former Obama White House advisor Seth Andrew on Tuesday for allegedly stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a charter school network he founded.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Andrews’s arrest in a Tuesday press release. Andrew is facing charges of wire fraud, money laundering, and making false statements to a financial institution related to a scheme stealing $218,005 from his network of charter schools.
“As alleged, Seth Andrew abused his position as a founder of a charter school network to steal from the very same schools he helped create,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a statement. “Andrew is not only alleged to have stolen the schools’ money but also to have used the stolen funds to obtain a savings on a mortgage for a multimillion-dollar Manhattan apartment. 10. Biden Tells Congress His Administration Is 'Delivering Real Results' - NPR
President Biden addressed Congress on Wednesday night, in a speech where he told the body that his administration's work to fight the pandemic shows that "America is on the move again." He also stressed that he and Congress must work to prove "that our government still works — and can deliver" for the American people.
We guarantee that low- to middle-income families will pay no more than 7% of their income for high-quality care for children up to the age of five. The most hard-pressed working families won't have to spend a dime," Biden said, touting the AFP, which would also provide up to 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave.
Biden said this plan would be funded by increasing taxes on the nation's top earners and corporations, who he said do not contribute a fair share of their earnings as compared to working-class families.

Stupidocrisy: Uncle Sam Says

It was a little over a year ago at the height of COVID 19 infections that my son and I returned from Ghana just hours ahead of the travel ban. We had no masks. There was no social distancing. Upon deplaning, we were all standing in line at Dulles Airport waiting to get our temperature checked. Then all of a sudden, the world goes absolutely crazy. Quarantining healthy people, shutting down flourishing businesses, requiring masks indoors and outdoors, creating social classes of people from those who are and are not vaccinated. Now the CDC has come out with new guidelines saying that people who are vaccinated still must wear masks. It’s confusing. If you can’t get the virus, why wear a mask?
Dr Fauci, the chief COVID guy, has waffled more times than a breakfast restaurant on these COVID restrictions. Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask; children wear a mask; children don’t wear a mask; children can’t get the virus; children can get the virus; The virus can transmit on any surface; the virus can’t transmit from surfaces; stay six feet apart, three feet is OK. Safe to go without a mask outside, unsafe to go without a mask outside. This is like a never-ending game of Simon Says, or shall we say “Uncle Sam Says,” and to a certain extent, the CDC, Fauci, and state and local governments are probably getting a good laugh at watching all of us put on and take off our masks, and jump from three feet to six feet every time they put out another dictum.
So the latest from CDC is incredible—here ya go from the CDC website itself: "For now, fully vaccinated people should continue to: Take precautions in indoor public settings like wearing a well-fitted mask; Wear well-fitted masks when visiting indoors with unvaccinated people who are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease or who have an unvaccinated household member who is at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease; Wear well-fitted masks when visiting indoors with unvaccinated people from multiple households; Avoid indoor large-sized in-person gatherings; Get tested if experiencing COVID -19 symptoms; Follow guidance issued by individual employers; Follow CDC and health department travel requirements and recommendations.” There you have it. The end of our public service message from the CDC.
Let’s get this straight. You get the vaccine so you are protected from getting COVID and can go back to some semblance of normal living. Right? Yet, even when you get the vaccine, you still have to take all the precautions non-vaccinated people must take so you don’t get the virus and spread it. So what is this all about? CDC says on its website that they don’t know how long vaccine protection lasts or if it is effective against other strains. CDC says “Until more is known and vaccination coverage increases, some prevention measures will continue to be necessary in some settings for all people, regardless of vaccination status.” Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” While we are figuring all that out, we can fill our time with another game of Uncle Sam Says—“raise your mask over your eyes.” Say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

A 'Super Blood Moon' Is on the Way, Then a 'Ring of Fire' - Here's What the Bible Says About Celestial Signs
A new lunar eclipse or "blood moon" is on the way, set to take place on May 26, 2021, and it will be at least partially visible from eastern Asia, Australia, the Pacific Ocean, and much of the Americas. According to Forbes.com, this "supermoon" full Moon will move into Earth's dark central umbral shadow where it will appear as a "Blood Moon" for 15 minutes, briefly turning the lunar surface a reddish-copper color.
Space.com explains a Blood Moon occurs when the moon moves completely into the deepest part of Earth's shadow, but the moon turns red instead of going black. The red color comes from some of the sunlight passing through Earth's atmosphere where it gets bent and colors like blue or green are filtered out, leaving behind longer wavelengths like the color red.
Biblical Implications of Blood Moons
Even though there are scientific explanations for these types of Blood Moons, many Christians also see prophetic implications behind them. That's because they're directly mentioned in scripture.
A Blood Moon is foretold by the Bible in the book of Joel 2:31 which states: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come."
Also in Acts 2:20, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come."
And, in the book of Revelations 6:12, a blood moon also is prophesied: "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."

New Mexico Restores Indoor Worship Services to Maximum Capacity
New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham allowed places of worship around the state to operate at maximum capacity, coming about a year after the state started limiting capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since last April, when the lockdowns were first initiated, there have been restrictions based on tiered guidelines for places of worship.
“The change was made in light of recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions that enjoin states from enforcing capacity limits on churches that are more restrictive than other entities like factories and schools,” Grisham press secretary Nora Meyers said in a statement over the weekend. Schools in the state were allowed to completely reopen on April 5.
The move comes after a Supreme Court ruling on April 9 that California couldn’t enforce pandemic-related restrictions on places of worship, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and other affiliated events. Day 16: Living in Terror, Betrayal and Political Intrigue
Mosab Hassan Yousef* born in Gaza in the Middle East, made a dramatic statement. He shared, "Israel has many enemies, but few have been deadlier than the terrorist group in its own back yard.”
Hamas, the governing body of Gaza founded in 1987, is an internationally known terrorist organization. Mosab stated, "Armed with the Koran and the gun, the people of Hamas are trained to hate Israel beginning at early childhood. For more than two (now three) decades, Hamas has terrorized Israelis through suicide bombings to thousands of rocket attacks." The suicide bombers and shedding of innocent blood resulted in great chaos, both in Israel and Gaza.
While Hamas military leaders were planning attacks on Israeli restaurants and buses, Mosab grew up as the son of a respected Hamas founder, Sheikh Hassan Yousef. Mosab and had a great love for his family. He honored his father and, as the older son, was groomed to be a Hamas "prince," to succeed his highly respected father in the group's leadership.
Mosab said he had watched his father struggle with an irrational internal conflict. "On the one hand, he didn't see those Muslims who killed settlers and soldiers and innocent women and children as wrong," he writes. "He believed that Allah gave them the authority to do that. On the other hand, he could not personally do what they did. Something in his soul rejected it. What he could not justify as right for himself he rationalized as right for others."
The IDF (Israeli Defense Force) knew that Mosab's father was behind much of the violence against Israel. He would be arrested, interrogated, even tortured, and imprisoned. He would be gone from his family for months at a time, return home, only to be imprisoned again. Sheikh Yousef was imprisoned by the IDF thirteen times, and the family struggled financially and emotionally.
Most lived amid terror, betrayal, and political intrigue. How can the love of God touch Mosab to overcome the conflict and anger in his heart? Stay tuned …

Romans 5:20 says, “Where sin abounds, grace will abound much more." The places in society that seem most challenging to reach for the Lord have grace abounding in their midst. Just as in other cultures, sin is abounding in the Muslim world. Declare that grace, favor, blessing, and the kindness of God is being released over their lives, opening their eyes to their need for salvation in Christ.
