COVID Tracking Apps Have Eerie Echoes of Chinese Surveillance System

President Joe Biden's COVID team appears to have entertained an electronic test-and-trace program pioneered by the University of Illinois that would have let businesses deny service to patrons based on their health data, a PowerPoint presentation obtained by the Washington Free Beacon shows. The program has eerie echoes of China's surveillance system, which uses data from citizens' phones to impose quarantines.

A PowerPoint produced by the school suggests scaling up the university's intrusive contact tracing system for use across the United States. Its file name, "2020-12-14 Shield Biden Covid Team," indicates that it was presented to the Biden team in December, amid an ongoing search for solutions to a seemingly insoluble problem: how to stop the virus without stopping the economy? The presentation proffered an answer.

The school's system uses a mobile app that records test results and Bluetooth data to determine who has been exposed to the virus—and "links building access" on campus to that information. Local businesses have also embraced it, making entry conditional on a "safe status" reading from the app.

The system resembles the one being used in China, where a mandatory app gives each user a "health status"—green, yellow, or red—that dictates access to public spaces. The University of Illinois app likewise divides users into three categories: "yellow" if they've recently tested negative, "orange" if they've potentially been exposed, and "red" if they've recently tested positive. Only students with a yellow status may enter buildings.

The proposal would amount to a more extreme version of the "vaccine passports" being rolled out by airlines and some U.S. cities, which are already causing controversy. Those passports, such as New York's "Excelsior" app, indicate whether an individual has tested negative or been vaccinated, but not whether they've been exposed to the virus based on tracking data. They collect less information and use a less granular classification scheme than the University of Illinois app, meaning they pose relatively fewer risks to civil liberties.
(Washington Free Beacon) Go here.

- Abba Father, we ask that this medical tyranny and control be stopped dead in its tracks. We ask that this app would find no buyers, no clients, that no businesses would get on board with this. We ask that our freedom would not be thrown down in the streets, that you would guard and protect our liberty to move about freely in this nation. Let this app never get off the shelf! In Yeshua's name, amen!

- The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,

“Let us break Their bonds in pieces, And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. (Psalm 2:2-4)

1. Super-Speedy Israeli COVID Test Gets European Approval; Airport Rollout Planned - Times of Israel

An Israeli company said Wednesday that it received European approval for its rapid coronavirus test and it was poised to help kickstart international travel.

The handheld SpectraLIT machine eliminates the need for complex lab equipment by shining light through samples and giving immediate results using the spectral signature.

This means that staff in airport booths who are currently tasked with collecting test samples and dispatching them to labs will simply have a machine at hand and be able to give passengers results after just 20 seconds of analysis. (Read more)

2. Religious Zionist Party Officially Endorses Netanyahu for Prime Minister - JNS

(March 30, 2021 / Israel Hayom) Israel’s Religious Zionist Party leader Bezalel Smotrich announced on Tuesday that he plans to recommend that Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin task Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with forming the next government.

“Based on the prime minister’s commitment that he will form a right-wing government that will safeguard Israel’s Jewish identity, bolster the Judea and Samaria settlement enterprise, and pursue the necessary reforms in the judiciary, the Religious Zionist Party will recommend that the president task Netanyahu with forming a government representing the national camp,” Smotrich said in a statement. “We call on all members of the national camp to set aside their differences and turn a new leaf—for the Israeli public’s sake. Israel needs a solid, cohesive right-wing government. Let’s put the anger behind us and begin negotiations.”

On Monday, Shas Party leader Aryeh Deri also endorsed Netanyahu as the next prime minister, saying that the Sephardi ultra-Orthodox party will ask Rivlin to task Likud’s leader with putting together a coalition. (Read more)

3. Netanyahu's Proposal to Bennett - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu offered Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett seven seats on the Likud list in exchange for Bennett's support for Netanyahu.

Also, according to the proposal, the offer will be valid for the next two Knessets, the party will receive senior portfolios in the next government and 20,000 functionaries and members of the Likud Central Committee who will support Bennett, according to Amit Segal's report in Channel 12 News.

Tonight (Wednesday), Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a special statement to the media for the first time since the end of the election campaign. (Read more)

4. Likud Fury as Israeli President Suggests He May Skip Over Netanyahu - World Israel News

Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin angered senior members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party Wednesday, saying it was not a given that he would select Netanyahu next week to try and form a coalition government.

Rivlin received the official results of the March 23 election and by law has to consult with all of the 13 parties elected to the Knesset, after which he will next week task the leader of one party with trying to form a coalition government.

Despite Netanyahu’s Likud Party winning 30 seats in the 120-seat Knesset, 13 more than the next largest party, the centrist Yesh Atid, Rivlin said he might bypass Netanyahu if he felt another person stood a better chance of gaining the support of small parties to form at least a 61-seat majority.

“Let me be clear, as it is clear to us all, that after consultations with the parties in the Knesset, the main consideration that will guide me in selecting a candidate to entrust with forming a government is the chance of the selected Knesset Member to form a government that will secure the confidence of the Knesset,” Rivlin said at a press conference where he received the election results from Supreme Court Justice Uzi Fogelman. (Read more)

5. Israel Has no Planned Approach, Response to ICC, with 9 Days to Go - Jerusalem Post

Senior ministers have not held a meeting to discuss and decide on Israel’s approach to the pending International Criminal Court investigation in the three weeks since receiving the official letter from The Hague announcing the probe, a senior government source said on Wednesday.

Jerusalem’s response to the ICC is due on April 9, a month after ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda sent the letter notifying Israel that she is opening a war crimes investigation. The probe against Israel is expected to include 2014’s Operation Protective Edge, the riots at the Gaza border in 2018, and the settlement enterprise, including east Jerusalem. Among the senior officials who could be vulnerable to war crimes suits are Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who was IDF chief of staff in 2014, and others, as well as hundreds of IDF officers.

Israel is not a party to the Rome Statute establishing the ICC, and has thus far had a policy of not cooperating with it. The Palestinian Authority, which the ICC recognizes as a member state, initiated Bensouda’s preliminary inquiry that led to the official investigation.

Ahead of the investigation’s official start, policy-makers will need to decide whether to continue to ignore the ICC, saying the probe is not legitimate, or to work with the ICC. (Read more)

1. Supreme Court rejects appeal from church threatened with closure by Chicago gov't - Christian Headlines

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from a Chicago church that faced the threat of summary abatement and temporary closure for holding worship services in violation of coronavirus pandemic-related gathering restrictions.  Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church in Albany Park, which objects to Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker's past actions to close down churches during the COVID-19 pandemic, sued the state government to guarantee that it can’t be closed by the governor in a future lockdown.

In an orders list released Monday morning, the nation’s high court denied a petition for a writ of certiorari, adding that Justice Amy Coney Barrett did not participate in the proceedings. Elim Church and Logos Baptist Ministries filed legal action against the state’s stay-at-home orders, arguing that they infringed on their First Amendment rights.

The Liberty Counsel, which represents Elim, filed an appeal with the Supreme Court, arguing that the church was still facing the threat of closure from the government. “The pastors and the Romanian churches are resolved to continue to fight for religious freedom," Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said in a statement Monday. "It is time to stop the abuse of the First Amendment once and for all.”

The legal group said in a statement last week that although the state claims the case is "moot" since churches are meeting again in Illinois, "Pritzker continues to insist he can reimpose restrictions against churches at will." “And the Summary Abatement notice threatening to seize and destroy Elim Romanian Pentecostal's beautiful buildings still stands, meaning the city may still seize and bulldoze the church at any time," the statement adds. (Read more)

- Father God, we are grieved that the High Court has declined to uphold the petition of these churches due to the technical detail of a "writ of certiorari." We ask that You strengthen the hearts of those who attend these fellowships that they stand strong in the face of this opposition. We ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way for justice to be rendered for these brothers and sisters in Christ, and that their beautiful historic building in the heart of Chicago be preserved. In Your Name we pray, amen.

- "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

2. Supreme Court rebuffs bid for Hillary Clinton deposition about emails - The Hill

The Supreme Court on Monday denied a bid by a right-wing government watchdog group to require former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to face a deposition over her use of personal email while she served as secretary of State.

In an unsigned order issued without comment, the justices declined an appeal from Judicial Watch that followed a ruling last August by a federal appeals court panel which said Clinton could not be compelled to sit for a deposition.

Judicial Watch had sought to depose Clinton and aide Cheryl Mills over Clinton’s use of a personal email server in connection to the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

Clinton’s emails were subject to numerous investigations including by the FBI, which declined to charge her with violating federal records-keeping requirements or other crimes. (Read more)

- Father God, we cry out to You! Show us Your mercy. O Lord! We do not understand
why the Supreme Court is now making these rulings . . . justifying evil and rejecting the good. Father God, help us O Lord we pray. Amen and amen.

"The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil."       (I John 3:8)

3. President Biden unveils his $2 trillion infrastructure plan – CNBC

President Joe Biden unveiled a more than $2 trillion infrastructure package on Wednesday as his administration shifts its focus to bolstering the post-pandemic economy.

The plan Biden outlined Wednesday includes roughly $2 trillion in spending over eight years and would raise the corporate tax rate to 28% to fund it. Speaking at a union hall in Pittsburgh, the president called it a vision to create "the strongest, most resilient, innovative economy in the world" — and millions of "good-paying jobs" along the way.

The White House said the tax hike, combined with measures designed to stop offshoring of profits, would fund the infrastructure plan within 15 years. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray you would give the Biden administration wisdom on how to create jobs by reducing taxes instead of claiming to raise taxes to create jobs. We ask that the true goal of this bill would be revealed in Jesus name.

4. Biden Puts Susan Rice in Charge of Effort to Expand Vote by Mail - Free Beacon

President Joe Biden put controversial former national security adviser Susan Rice in charge of directing hundreds of federal agencies and departments to expand access to mail-in voting.

Biden signed an executive order in March that put Rice, now the assistant to the president for domestic policy, in charge of soliciting strategies from federal agencies to produce "relevant information" on expanded voting registration procedures. Federal agencies must submit to Rice "a strategic plan outlining the ways identified under this review that the agency can promote voter registration and voter participation" within 200 days under the terms of the order.

"Agencies shall consider ways to expand citizens' opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process," the order states. "The head of each agency shall evaluate ways in which the agency can, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, promote voter registration and voter participation."

It requires agencies to distribute registration and vote-by-mail ballot application forms, as well as to assist any applicants in completing the forms. It also pushes agencies to allow "approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and State officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises." (Read more)

- Lord God we pray for a miracle in the situation of voting by mail. This can be a deciding factor on whether or not we remain a free republic where the peoples voice matters or a dictatorship where whatever the corrupt leaders say goes. We know that You hate corruption and we ask that You give us ideas and strategies and downloads from heaven on how to stop this attack, in Jesus name.

“ If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.” (Exodus 23:22)

5. Matt Gaetz Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl - New York Times

Representative Matt Gaetz, Republican of Florida and a close ally of former President Donald J. Trump, is being investigated by the Justice Department over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him, according to three people briefed on the matter.

Investigators are examining whether Mr. Gaetz violated federal sex trafficking laws, the people said. A variety of federal statutes make it illegal to induce someone under 18 to travel over state lines to engage in sex in exchange for money or something of value.

The Justice Department regularly prosecutes such cases, and offenders often receive severe sentences. It was not clear how Mr. Gaetz met the girl, believed to be 17 at the time of encounters about two years ago that investigators are scrutinizing, according to two of the people. (Read more)

- Lord God we ask that the truth and the light will be revealed in this situation. Anyone who has contributed to or has emboldened sex trafficking in anyway we ask if they would be held accountable for their actions. If this man is guilty, we pray he be brought to justice, in the name of Jesus amen.

- "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

6. Now Facebook and Instagram Platforms ban ex-Presidents interview with daughter-in-law Lara where he signals he will run for President in 2024 - Daily Mail

Facebook and Instagram have removed Donald Trump's interview with his daughter-in-law Lara in another sign of the left-leaning Silicon Valley giant canceling the former president.

In the interview, Trump tore into social media and the mainstream media for suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story, he criticized President Biden's green agenda and railed against cancel culture which he said obliterates US culture.

It was for The Right View, Lara's show. During the 18-minute interview, Trump also spoke about running for President again in 2024. Lara had been promoting it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter beforehand.

At 9.26pm on Tuesday night, four minutes before it was due to be uploaded, Facebook emailed Lara's team warning them that it would be removed if it went live. At 9.51pm, they emailed again to say that they'd taken it down.

Lara shared screenshots of the emails on Instagram afterwards. 'And just like that, we are one step closer to Orwell’s 1984. Wow,' she wrote alongside them. (Read more)

- Lord God we ask that you would bring down these social media giants in the name of Jesus Christ as they desperately try to bury the truth and to smear anyone who stands up for righteousness and justice. We say no more to this tyranny in Jesus Christ name!

"But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;” (1 Peter 3:14)

7. Two U.S. Capitol Police officers sue Trump in connection with Jan. 6 siege, allege related injuries - Just The News

Two Capitol Hill police officers are suing former President Trump for alleged physical and emotional injuries in connection with the Jan. 6 siege on the U.S. Capitol building.

Officers James Blassingame and Sidney Hemby made the claims in a lawsuit filed this week in federal court, alleging Trump riled his supporters and encouraged them to commit acts of violence against them, according to The Washington Post.

"Both United States Capitol Police Officers reported for duty on January 6, 2021, without any suspicion that they would soon become the targets of Trump’s followers," the suit states. "The insurrectionist mob, which Trump had inflamed, encouraged, incited, directed, and aided and abetted, forced its way over and past the plaintiffs and their fellow officers, pursuing and attacking them inside and outside the United States Capitol, and causing the injuries," reads the suit, obtained by new outlets. (Read more)

- Lord God we come against this false narrative that corrupt leaders are using to influence this country and the minds of Americans. We shut down this lie and separate the media‘s ability to continue to spread this lie in Jesus name we pray amen.

- "The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves." (Proverbs 13:5)

 8.  Hawaii considering digital vaccine passport for travelers to curb coronavirus spread - Fox News

Hawaii is working towards a vaccination passport for travelers coming in and out of the state during the COVID-19 pandemic, government officials said.

Hawaii’s vaccination passport will likely be in app-form. While the new passports are being developed, travelers can present vaccination cards to show their health status, Lt. Gov. Josh Green suggests, as reported by KHON2.

The state is reportedly aiming to work with Honolulu-based First Vitals to create the app. If implemented, fully-vaccinated individuals will present special QR codes, notifying officials of their status, at travel checkpoints. In the meantime, travelers flying through the Aloha state can present a vaccination card that will be screened by airport personnel to ensure authenticity, Green said.

"They would be able to verify the health record, they would then encrypt it so people can’t steal someone’s health record. Although really, all it is is whether you got vaccinated or not and your name and the date it occurred," Green said, according to KHON2. (Read more)

- Lord God we come against these tyrannical laws passed by our local and federal governments depriving citizens of their freedoms guaranteed to them by the Constitution of the United States. We pray that the eyes of the hearts of the American people would be opened and flooded with light to stand against these efforts, in Jesus name.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1)

9. Russia suspected of stealing thousands of State Department emails - Politico

Suspected Russian hackers stole thousands of State Department officials’ emails last year, according to two Congressional sources familiar with the intrusion, in the second known Kremlin-backed breach on the department’s email server in under a decade.

The hackers accessed emails in the department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs and Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, the congressional sources said. It does not appear at this point that the classified network was accessed, a third official said.

It is not clear whether the theft of State Department emails was part of the SolarWinds espionage campaign, in which Russian hackers burrowed into federal and private sector networks by exploiting a piece of software — developed by the IT company SolarWinds — that is used across the government and private sector. The State Department used SolarWinds software and was exposed in that breach, according to The Washington Post. (Read more)

10. US to offer Iran new nuclear deal, sanctions relief this week - Jerusalem Post

The US proposal would ask Iran to stop some of its nuclear activities in exchange for some relief from US economic sanctions, Politico reported. The United States is trying to break the nuclear deadlock with Iran and is planning a new proposal that would include some sanctions relief for the Islamic Republic, according to a report in Politico.

Biden administration officials plan to put forth a new proposal to restart nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran as soon as this week, two people familiar with the situation told Politico.

According to the report, the American proposal would ask Iran to stop some of its nuclear activities, such as work on advanced centrifuges and the enrichment of uranium to 20 percent purity, in exchange for some relief from US economic sanctions, said one of Politico's two sources. (Read more)

- Lord God we ask that You would give the Biden administration heavenly counsel and wisdom in regard to Iran and this nuclear deal. We ask that You would bring to their remembrance how Iran has broken these kinds of deals before and do not take them seriously. We ask You to give this administration boldness and courage to stand up to the enemy in the name of Jesus.

Stupidocrisy: Jim Crow Casting Out Jim Crow

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 31, 2021

The Democrats in Congress are ramming through so-called election reforms that codify the very tricks used to undermine election integrity. The same Democrats are calling state-led election reform efforts a throwback to Jim Crow Laws. How we have such a short memory. It was an organized political effort by the Democratic Party to disenfranchise black Americans with Jim Crow laws after the Civil War. For over 100 years from 1865 to the late 1960s, these laws oppressed black voting, mandated segregation of public schools, public places, public transportation, housing, restrooms, drinking fountains, and restaurants. Many residuals of these laws still remain. Joe Biden was part and parcel to this dark history.

Jim Crow Laws allowed arresting blacks for the smallest of crimes to be incarcerated to hard labor and would never be allowed to vote, thus perpetuating a form of slavery. These laws began to be deconstructed with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, although these reforms were opposed by Democrats at all levels of government well into the 1970s. Even Joe Biden’s Vice President recognized Biden’s efforts in support of Jim Crow laws during his 40-plus years of public service. During the July 31, 2019 Democratic Presidential debate, Kamala Harris accused Biden of racism and said his work in the Senate to continue the Jim Crow segregation laws against black Americans are extraordinarily serious.

Harris said, “When Vice President Biden was in the United States Senate working with segregationists to oppose busing, which was the vehicle by which we would integrate America’s public schools, had I been in the United States Senate at that time I would have been on the other side of the aisle.” Harris was relentless pointing out ,“It was not only that, but you also worked with them to oppose busing…There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bussed to school every day. That little girl was me. So I will tell you that on this subject, it cannot be an intellectual debate. …We have to take it seriously.” But not so serious as to decline the Vice Presidential nomination.

Now, requiring Voter ID is Jim Crow because electioneering campaigners can’t give water to those standing in line to vote. I guess the connection between Voter ID and water bottles is obvious. Biden and the Democrats insist this disenfranchises voters. Congressional Democrat election reforms actually encourage the ineligible to vote, which disenfranchises all legal voters. But Biden calls state-led voting reforms, “Jim Crow in the 21st Century,” and the media amplifies this false narrative. Democrats have been oppressing blacks since the party was founded and Biden has been part of it for nearly half a century. In Matthew 12:26, Christ says, “If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself.” Point being in this case, Jim Crow isn’t going to cast out Jim Crow. Jim Crow only will expand Jim Crow. And who supports that? Say it with me—Stupidocrisy!

Mount Rushmore shuts down after South Dakota wildfires force evacuations

Three “dangerous” wildfires in the Black Hills of South Dakota have forced the evacuations of hundreds of homes and the shutdown of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, officials said.

A blaze that started in the Nemo area, about 15 miles northwest of Rapid City, had burned as much as 1.5 square miles and was “still moving” late Monday, according to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.

“This is a very active and dangerous scene, Law Enforcement requests that citizens stay out of the area, and use alternate routes,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.

Several outbuildings and at least one home were destroyed, officials said.

Gov. Kristi Noem, who traveled to Rapid City to oversee the response, said the Schroeder Road fire was sparked on private property, adding that “there have been losses and that is tragic.”

Pennington County Sheriff Kevin Thom said between 400 and 500 homes had been evacuated,
according to the Rapid City Journal. No injuries have been reported.

About 250 firefighters were battling the fire on a windy afternoon when gusts have ranged from around 50 mph to 72 mph, the news outlet reported.

Two other fires were burning southwest of Rapid City, near Keystone, with one covering about 75 acres and the other 20 acres. That has caused Mount Rushmore to close through at least Wednesday, officials said.

Parler Just Flipped Big Tech's Jan. 6 Conspiracy Theory on Its Head

In the days after the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, Big Tech moved against a conservative alternative social media platform, Parler, based on the premise that the rioters has used Parler to plan the attack on the Capitol and that Parler had failed in its responsibility to prevent such coordination. Based on this narrative, Apple and Google removed Parler from their app stores and Amazon removed Parler’s internet hosting. Yet on Thursday, Parler flipped the narrative on its head.

On Thursday, Parler sent a response to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform’s request for documents regarding the riot, the company explained in a press release. In that response, Parler revealed that it had “proactively developed an open line of communication with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the fall of 2020 and referred violent content and incitement from Parler’s platform over 50 times before January 6th. Parler also warned the FBI about specific threats of violence being planned for the events at the Capitol on January 6th.”

The letter details Parler’s efforts “to flag and remove unlawful speech from its platform that was not protected by the First Amendment.” It also notes that of the 270 charging documents filed by the Department of Justice, 80 percent of social media references involved Big Tech platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. “Only 5% referred to Parler.” (PJMedia) Read more.

JESUS PAID IT ALL

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.(Ephesians 2:8–9)
Words & Music:William B. Bradbury,

Melody:Go here.

Lyrics:

Nothing either great or small,
Remains for me to do;
Jesus died and paid it all—
Yes, all the debt I owe.

Refrain

Jesus paid it all,
All the debt I owe;
Jesus died, and paid it all—
Yes, all the debt I owe.

When He from His lofty throne
Stooped down to do and die,
Everything was fully done;
Yes, Finished! was His cry.

Refrain

Weary, working, plodding one!
O, wherefore toil you so?
Cease your doing: All was done
Yes, ages long ago.

Refrain

Till to Jesus’ work you cling,
Alone by simple faith,
Doing is a deadly thing,
All doing ends in death.

Refrain

Cast your deadly doing down,
Down, all at Jesus’ feet;
Stand in Him, in Him alone,
All glorious and complete.

Refrain

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"  (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."  [Romans 13:1]
