Russia recalls ambassador to U.S., says relations 'in crisis'
The Kremlin late Wednesday recalled its ambassador to the U.S., Anatoly Antonov, amid a full-blown “crisis” in relations with America.
The announcement from Moscow’s Embassy in Washington came just hours after President Biden labeled Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer,” an apparent reference to the alleged poisoning of key Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and Mr. Putin’s hard-line tactics against other political rivals.
The move also came on the heels of a recent U.S. intelligence report that found Russia attempted to influence the outcome of the 2020 election, and Mr. Biden told ABC News in a lengthy interview Wednesday that Mr. Putin “will pay a price” for those operations.
Moscow’s reaction was swift.
“On March 20, Ambassador of Russia to the United States Anatoly Antonov is leaving for Moscow for consultations. During his meetings in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies, it is planned to discuss ways to rectify Russia-U.S. ties that are in crisis,” the Russian Embassy said in a statement. “The current situation is a result of the deliberate policy of Washington that during the past years was making steps to bring — in essence, intentionally — our bilateral interaction into a deadlock.”
Mr. Biden‘s most notable comment regarding Russia came when asked point-blank by ABC host George Stephanopoulos whether he believes Mr. Putin is a killer.
“I do,” the president said
Mr. Biden also cited the recent SolarWinds hack which officials have pinned on Russia as an example of the “mischievous things” Moscow has done.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed the comments and said they make clear Mr. Biden “doesn’t want to normalize relations” between the two nations.
The White House said it will be direct in its communications with Russia, including calling out malign behavior. We will speak out on areas where we have concerns, and it will certainly be, as the president said last night — certainly, the Russians will be held accountable for the actions that they have taken,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said. 1. Biden Seeks Palestinian ‘Reset,’ Return to ‘1967 Lines,’ Says Memo -World Israel News
The Biden administration is looking to hit the reset button with the Palestinians, including the return to a more traditional position on a two-state solution and rolling back several Trump administration positions on Israel.
The four-page memo, titled, “The U.S. Palestinian Reset and the Path Forward,” was obtained by The National, an English-language news outlet based in the United Arab Emirates.
It was reportedly presented to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on March 1 by the acting assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs Joey Hood, and drafted by deputy assistant secretary of state for Israeli-Palestinian affairs Hady Amr and his team.
According to the memo, the Biden administration will seek to achieve Israeli-Palestinian peace under a two-state solution framework “based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed land swaps and agreements on security and refugees.” (Read more)
2. Shaked to Arutz Sheva: 'Netanyahu will form government with the Left' - Israel National News
Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked called on the public not to believe Prime Minister Netanyahu's "spins" in an interview at Arutz Sheva's Jerusalem studio Thursday.
"A vote for the Likud or Lapid means a fifth election. Only a vote for Yamina will allow the formation of a stable right-wing government," Shaked says.
When asked if her party would indeed be able to place is chairman, Naftali Bennett, as prime minister with polls showing Yamina winning just 10-12 seats she replies: "We have chosen, after careful consideration, to be the only adult in the room and not bind ourselves to any commitment, so we will make every effort to force the formation of a right-wing government.
There are 80 seats for the right and 30 seats for the left. We will not sit under Lapid as prime minister, but there is no reason why a government should not be formed in Israel." (Read more)
3. UAE Said to Shelve Plans for Israel-US Summit Amid Anger at PM’s Electioneering - Times of Israel
The United Arab Emirates has reportedly suspended plans for a summit at which it was to host Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, senior US officials and the heads of Arab states that have normalized relations with Israel, amid a diplomatic tiff over the Israeli premier’s attempted use of Abu Dhabi as a stop on the campaign trail.
According to the Thursday report by the Yedioth Ahronoth daily, the summit had been set to take place in Abu Dhabi in April but has now been shelved after Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed was angered by what he reportedly perceived as Netanyahu’s endeavor to use the Gulf nation for electioneering.
The plans for a summit had not been previously reported.
Netanyahu had been long planning and repeatedly canceling an official visit to Abu Dhabi, most recently scheduled for last week. His election speeches have touted a UAE $10 billion investment fund aimed at strategic sectors in Israel. (Read more)
4. Cabinet Approves Further Reopening - Israel National News
The Coronavirus Cabinet approved tonight (Thursday) in a telephone vote the Ministry of Health's regulations for the fourth stage in the lockdown exit plan. The regulations will take effect tomorrow at 5 p.m.
The Cabinet has decided to allow rapid inspections at the entrance to businesses operating in green localities, even for those who are not vaccinated or recovering from the coronavirus.
At this stage, this option does not detract from the possibility of entering with a negative result with a standard coronavirus test for minors in hotels and up to 5% of those entering the ballroom.
It will be possible to operate a swimming pool, fair, or tourist attraction - located in an open area - (including an attraction that includes facilities).
It will also be possible to run a fair in the green building and sports facilities. This permit will allow the return of popular sports games in green localities, such as professional leagues and the like.
5. UNHRC Strengthens Call for Arms Embargo Against Israel - Jerusalem Post
The UN Human Rights Council is expected to vote on Monday on a resolution that strengthens the call for an arms embargo against Israel over fears of human rights violations.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the UNHRC has dealt with the issue, which has gained prominence as the International Criminal Court considers bringing war crimes lawsuits against Israelis for actions in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem, and military conduct in Gaza.
Known as the accountability resolution, the text calls for all UN member states to “refrain from transferring arms [to Israel] when, in accordance with applicable national procedures and international obligations and standards, they assess that there is a clear risk that such arms might be used to commit or facilitate serious violations or abuses of international human rights law or serious violations of international humanitarian law.”
Monday’s vote, which will be held toward the end of the 46th session in Geneva, will be followed on Tuesday with votes on the Palestinian right to self-determination, the boycott of settlement activity, and a call for Israel to withdraw from the Golan Heights. (Read more)
6. Jerusalem: Siloam Pool Overflowing Once Again Fulfilling Biblical Prophecy - Israel365News
“Joyfully shall you draw waters from the fountain of triumph.” (Isaiah 12:3)
Prayers of rain have been answered and after experiencing more than six years of drought, ancient sources of water are flowing in Israel. Most notably, the Shiloach Pool in Jerusalem is overflowing.
Six years of drought ended last winter with a blessed rainy season. Israel is an arid country with about 70 percent of the average rain falling between November and March and the last two years filled the Kinneret to within 12 centimeters of being full. Rain in Israel is a reflection of the relationship between the Jews and God.
Nowhere is this more evident than at the Shiloach Pool that once served the Temples in Jerusalem. On Sukkoth 18 months ago, a grand procession of Kohanim (priests), Levites, and Jews joyously descended from the Old City in Jerusalem to the Shiloach Pool in a reenactment of the Nisuch Hamayim (water libation ceremony) performed in the Temples. Upon arriving at the pool, they were dismayed to discover that there was barely enough water to fill the golden vessel. (Read more and see image by going here.)

British Airways is offering to log passengers’ vaccination details to smooth international travel LONDON—The world’s airlines are betting on vaccinations to restart international travel. Two of Europe’s biggest airlines, British Airways and budget carrier Ryanair Holdings PLC, have started allowing fliers to provide Covid-19 vaccination and test-result details alongside personal data, like passport numbers and visa information, during bookings. The airlines say the move will eventually help passengers show they have been inoculated when landing at destinations that have started to welcome vaccinated travelers. Across the U.S., domestic travel is picking up amid stabilizing or falling Covid-19 cases and a relatively quick vaccination drive. That rebound isn’t yet happening with international traffic, where a patchwork of travel bans, quarantine rules and testing requirements have stymied cross-border flights. U.S. domestic carriers have increased scheduled capacity by more than 50% between September and March, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium. 2. Brazil Health Service in its Worst Crisis in its history – BBC News
Brazil is experiencing a historic collapse of its health service as intensive care units in hospitals run out of capacity, its leading health institute, Fiocruz, has warned. Covid-19 units in all but two of Brazil's 27 states are at or above 80% capacity, according to Fiocruz. In Rio Grande do Sul state there are no intensive care beds available at all.
The warning came as the country registered its highest daily death toll yet with 2,841 dying within 24 hours. That figure constitutes a large jump from the previous high of 2,286 on 10 March. (Read more)

3. Medical Tyranny: A Trend for the Rest of the nations? - Jerusalem Post
Coronavirus: Knesset okays electronic bracelet for returnees from abroad - Jerusalem Post
All Israelis returning from abroad can be required to wear an electronic bracelet to ensure that they isolate at home, or be quarantined in a hotel, according to a bill approved by the Knesset on Wednesday.
The legislation gave the government authorization to force those who enter the country from abroad or from specific countries to choose between the two options, except for children under 14 and other special humanitarian cases.
All those currently entering the country are required to isolate, unless they present a vaccination or a recovery certificate issued by the Israeli Health Ministry. Those who were inoculated or who recovered abroad can be released from the quarantine if they undergo a serological test to prove their level of antibodies. (Read more)

4. Fauci: US could start vaccinating young kids in early 2022, older kids in the fall – CNBC
The U.S. could begin vaccinating older kids against Covid-19 this fall while elementary-aged children may start getting their shots early next year, White House Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anthony Fauci told lawmakers on Wednesday.
“For high school students, it looks like they will be available to get vaccinated in the beginning of the fall, very likely for the fall term,” Fauci told lawmakers during a hearing with the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
Fauci said researchers will likely have enough data on immunizations for younger children — 12 and under — to begin giving them shots in the first quarter of 2022.
The Food and Drug Administration authorized the vaccines from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson’s for people ages 18 and older, while Pfizer’s vaccine can be used in people as young as 16. (Read more)

5. Like the Wild West: Arizona Sherriff Says Biden Border Crisis “Worse Than Obama Years” – ZeroHedge
An Arizona sheriff says that President Bidens border crisis is worse than the Obama years, as the surge in illegal immigrants hits a 20-year-high, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County told "Fox & Friennds" on Wednesday that it's "ridiculous" and "unfair" that illegal immigrants - many of whom have not been tested for COVID-19 and could be carriers - are able to enter the United States unhindered while schools and businesses remain locked down in many parts of the country.
"[During the Obama administration] it was like the Wild West out there in the desert on the south end of our county and we’re back to that again," said Lamb, according to Fox News. (Read more)

6. Number of Illegal Border Crossings Will Grow a Hundredfold, Texas Governor Warns – The Epoch Times
The number of immigrants illegally crossing America’s southern border will grow a hundredfold in the future, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott asserted late Wednesday.
“This is just the very beginning of what’s going to be a massive expansion of the number of people coming across the border. It will grow tenfold and a hundredfold, especially because of the way the Biden administration has handled this,” Abbott, a Republican, said during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
“Remember during the presidential campaign when all of the candidates said we want open borders? Well guess what? Biden has provided those open borders. He’s inviting everybody in and the floodgates are now open and Texas is at the forefront of it,” Abbott added. (Read more)
- Lord, raise up an outcry asking law enforcement to stop this flow. Open the administration's eyes to see the crisis at the border and order a stop to open border policies. May the governors and legislators step up to see and stop the damage being done to our citizens and the ones crossing. 7. Big Tech Censorship: Facebook to Add Warnings, Limit Visibility of Groups that Violate Platform Rules – The Epoch Times
Facebook announced Wednesday that it has implemented a number of changes on the social media platform that seek to reduce the reach of, and in some cases ban, groups that violate its policies.
The tech giant said in a statement that it has taken action to curb the spread of “harmful content, like hate speech and misinformation,” and is making it harder for certain groups to operate or be discovered.
“When a group repeatedly breaks our rules, we take it down entirely,” the announcement from Facebook’s VP of engineering, Tom Alison, said.
As part of the changes, Facebook will notify users who wish to join a group if the group has previously approved posts that violate the platform’s “community standards.” Users can then opt to review the group before joining. (Read more)

8. Facebook Voter Drive Swayed Election to Biden: Executive Caught on Camera – The Epoch Times
Facebook’s drive to register 4.5 million voters swayed the November election to President Joe Biden, a Facebook executive opined in hidden camera footage.
The executive, Benny Thomas, expressed grim views of the giant tech company, but counted the voter drive among its positives while secretly being recorded earlier this year by reporters with Project Veritas, an undercover journalism nonprofit.
“This is the good side of Facebook. … We made a big difference,” he said in a video released by Veritas on March 16, explaining that Facebook exceeded its goal of registering 4 million people and could only accomplish the task because of its “sheer scale and reach.”
“Yeah. I’m pretty sure we [Biden] won that way,” the reporter said.
“Yea!” Thomas replied, laughing. “Exactly!”
“What do you think?” the reporter jumped in.
“Exactly. I think so too,” he said.

9. Shadowy Firm uses New York Times to Spread Disinformation about Epoch Times – The Epoch Times
The New York Times on March 9, 2021, published an article containing incorrect information about The Epoch Times prepared by a shadowy firm.
The article, authored by Davey Alba, centers around the inaccurate claim that The Epoch Times is connected to “more than a dozen sites.” The New York Times makes this false claim without providing any evidence nor stating which websites it’s referring to.
This is likely because the claim is not a result of The New York Times’ own reporting, but rather based on information that the newspaper was handed by a third party. While the initial version of Alba’s article did not reveal the source of the false information, The New York Times disclosed the identity of the entity in a correction statement. (Read more)

10. DOJ and DHS find no evidence that foreign actors flipped vote machine results - Washington Examiner
The Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security investigated allegations that foreign governments controlled election infrastructure in the 2020 election and did not find the claims credible, unearthing no evidence that any foreign actors compromised voting machines to change the results.
DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said in the wake of the November election that “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised." The statement followed a viral all-caps tweet sent by Trump that quoted One America News Network, claiming that “DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE.”
“We are aware of multiple public claims that one or more foreign governments — including Venezuela, Cuba, or China — owned, directed, or controlled election infrastructure used in the 2020 federal elections; implemented a scheme to manipulate election infrastructure; or tallied, changed, or otherwise manipulated vote counts,” DOJ and DHS said in a Tuesday report. The moral and Constitutional duty of border security

There are a myriad of depraved, immoral sins connected to the dismantling of border security by President Joe Biden and his henchmen, now including many in the Republican Party. From a national security standpoint, this open border policy is an unconstitutional high crime against the country. Deeply troubling also are the ramifications of increased drug cartel activity, murders, kidnapping and human trafficking, especially against children. Yet another consequence of this reckless nonsense is that these people will be assimilated into society without legality and will be the pawns of politicians seeking their illegal votes by incentivizing them with benefits paid by your hard-earned tax dollars.
The preamble to the Constitution is the evidence of what the Founding Fathers intended for they wanted the Constitution to achieve. It reads: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” In short—keep the peace, provide for the national defense, promote (not provide) for the general welfare, and secure freedom. Open borders are a violation of all these founding precepts. Yet almost all Democrats, some Republicans and the president are supporting this crime.
At a news conference about how Biden’s policies are impacting Texas, Governor Greg Abbott (R) said, “President Biden’s reckless open border policies have created a humanitarian crisis that is enriching the cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers who often prey on and abuse unaccompanied minors. Americans deserve to know what the Biden Administration is doing to investigate the surge of unaccompanied minors crossing the border and to protect those who are victims of human trafficking.” That’s not going to happen because Biden has placed a gag order on the news media. Breitbart reports a senior-level Department of Homeland Security official saying, “We have been advised not to speak on immigration issues at the border and to rely on DHS’s Office of Public Affairs and the Whitehouse Press Office to handle messaging.”
Democrats have introduced the US Citizenship Act of 2021 which expedites citizenship in three years for all 11 million “undocumented immigrants,” who crossed the border illegally, including Dreamers, and some farm workers. All other illegal immigrants who pay taxes and pass a background check can have citizenship after eight years. Led by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rick Scott (R-FL), many Republicans are jumping on the amnesty bandwagon. They all hope to woo the votes of people who came to America illegally. Responsible and legal immigration is key to border security. In Leviticus 24:22, the Lord says, “You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country.” This is God’s wisdom and it’s a Constitutional and moral duty. But none of that seems to matter to the power hungry.

Tornadoes destroy dozens of homes, lead to scary moments across South
More than two dozen tornadoes touched down amid an intensifying severe weather outbreak across a large part of the southern United States on Wednesday. The National Weather Service Severe Prediction Center (SPC) isn't quick to issue a high-risk severe weather outlook, the highest level in a five-tier alert system, as the prediction is reserved for days when there is high confidence in a particularly dangerous severe weather setup.
Wednesday marked the first day the SPC delivered the daunting threat level since May 2019, but thanks to days of preparation and some fortunate weather conditions that AccuWeather forecasters credit with limiting the intensity and overall number of tornadoes, injury totals were kept to a minimum and no fatalities were reported.
While millions of Americans dealt with the fright of the day's conditions, only two injuries were reported, both in Clarke County, Alabama. Still, dozens of families will feel the sting of the weather for weeks to come, as dozens of homes and buildings were damaged and destroyed.
The majority of destruction focused on Alabama Wednesday, where 19 of the day's 27 tornadoes were spotted, according to preliminary reports from the SPC. Three of those were in Clarke County, including the aforementioned tornado that caused two injuries around 4:30 p.m. local time. (Accuweather.com) (Read more).

Israel365 News reported on a historic archeological discovery on Tuesday which involved uncovering fragments of a biblical scroll written in Greek, that included books of prophets Zechariah and Nahum. The discovery also revealed a cache of rare coins from the the Bar-Kokhba, era, a 6,000 year-old mummified skeleton of a girl, and a completely intact basket dating back 10,500 years.
Dr. Eitan Klein, the archaeologist who led the operation, is now referred to by many as Israel’s ‘Indiana Jones’ due to the daring mission involved in recovering the artifacts. As the lead archaeologist on Israel’s latest ‘Dead Sea Scroll’ discovery, Klein activated a fleet of Photogrammetry surveying drones to locate and measure a vast network of caves embedded on the dizzying cliffs of the Judean Desert.
“Sometimes, we’re walking on a cliff and we have no way of knowing if there are any caves underneath our feet” Klein told Israel365 News. (Read more)
