Arkansas Senate Passes Bill to Ban Abortions, Would Save Thousands of Babies Every Year

Last Monday the Arkansas Senate passed S.B. 6 that would ban abortions in the Natural State and protect thousands of babies from being killed. Sen. Jason Rapert (R – Conway) and Rep. Mary Bentley (R – Perryville) are the key sponsors of the legislation that the state Senate approved on a 27-7 vote.

The Arkansas Unborn Child Protection Act will ban abortions unless it’s to save a mother’s life and the bill now heads to the Republican-controlled state House, which is expected to approve it as well.

“Arkansas is asking and pleading that the U.S. Supreme Court take a look at this and make a decision that once again allows the states to protect human life,” Republican state Sen. Jason Rapert, the bill’s sponsor, said before the vote, according to the AP.

Sen. Bob Ballinger said during the debate that the central question in abortion is whether the baby is a human being worthy of legal protection.

“The question really is, is it a baby or not? Is it a little person or not? If it’s not a little person – what the heck are we doing?” Ballinger stated. “If it is a little human being and we agree with it, it doesn’t matter how they were created.” (LifesiteNews) Read more here.

UPDATE: S.B. 6 now heads to the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor House Committee, where a vote is expected to take place TOMORROW. After that, the bill will move to the full House for a final vote. and will then be sent to the governor to be signed into law.

Please pray for passage of S.B. 6 in the full House, and that Arkansas' Governor Asa Hutchinson will then sign it into law. Thank you.

"You will also declare a thing,
And it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways."

Focus on Israel

Psalm2.jpg

1. Multiple Air Strikes Target Iranian Military Positions in Damascus - Jewish Press

The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported late Sunday night that Israel fired missiles from the direction of the Golan Heights, targeting an area in the vicinity of Damascus.

“Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli missiles aggression on Sunday over Damascus and shot down most of them.

“A military source announced that at 10:16 p.m. on Sunday, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the Occupied Syrian Golan and targeted some posts in the vicinity of Damascus, adding that the Syrian Air defenses intercepted the hostile missiles and shot down most of them,” SANA reported.

Hebrew-language news correspondent Amichai Stein at Israel’s Kan News public broadcasting station said in a post on Twitter the reported Israeli airstrike in Syria is a response to an Iranian attack on an Israeli ship near the Gulf of Oman this weekend.

2. High Court Limits Shin Bet Coronavirus Surveillance to Those Who Won’t Cooperate - Times of Israel

The High Court of Justice ruled on Monday that the Shin Bet security service’s controversial phone tracking program, designed to detect coronavirus carriers and those who came in contact with them, can only be used for those who don’t cooperate with epidemiological investigations.

After four rights groups petitioned against the mass surveillance program, the court ruled that starting March 14 the security agency’s authority will be limited to using its tracking as a “complementary tool only,” for individual cases, as necessary.

The ruling by Israel’s top court stated the security agency will not be able to conduct epidemiological investigations “in a sweeping manner,” but instead only in individual cases of those refusing to cooperate or failing to provide details of their contacts. (Read more)

3. Gantz Associate Urges Him to Quit Race - Israel National News

Hod Betzer, a close associate of Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz who has accompanied him since his first day in politics, recently called on Gantz to quit the race for the 24th Knesset, Channel 12 News reported on Friday.

According to the report, Betzer made clear to Gantz that he believes he is taking a huge risk in continuing to run and should step down. In the wake of this, Channel 12 said, Betzer has been removed from the Blue and White campaign.

Blue and White said in response to the report, “You can continue to spread gossip and folk tales - but the fact is simple: it's either Gantz now or Bibi forever. And to our political opponents - if you do not help in uniting the camp, the least you can do is not interfere and help stop Bibi from trying to evade trial." (Read more)

4. Netanyahu, Gallant: Israeli School Year to be Extended to July 31 - Jewish Press

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday night that the school year will be extended this year until the end of July.

The extension applies for all grades and for all age groups.

“The gradual reopening of studies will take place in the coming days in green and yellow cities for grades seven through ten,” the prime minister said in a statement at the Education Ministry.

“The Education Minister and I are also taking steps to fill in the gaps in the curriculum by the repeated lockdowns,” he said.

“We must give children the opportunity to acquire what they have missed. We will take care of the teachers’ rights as well; I, along with the Ministers of Education and Finance take full responsibility to see to it that they are paid,” he promised. (Read more)

5. Israel Rules Out Greek Tanker as Suspect in Mediterranean Oil Spill - Algemeiner

JNS.org – The Greek tanker Minerva Helen was not the source of the tons of toxic tar that washed up on Israel’s shores last weekend, Israel’s Environmental Protection Ministry announced on Sunday.

A team led by the ministry and including representatives from the Israeli Shipping and Ports Authority reached this conclusion on Saturday, after conducting a “thorough, professional and comprehensive inspection” of the tanker at the Port of Piraeus, with the full cooperation of Greek authorities.

The inspection followed a report last Monday by Israel’s Kan News that the Minerva Helen was a key suspect, though the vessel’s owner denied any connection with the incident.

Also on Monday, a Haifa court imposed a week-long gag order on the investigation. By Tuesday, however, the order, prohibiting the publication of the name of any ship, company or individuals involved in the spill, had been partially lifted. (Read more)

The Daily Brief

1. Dems reject GOP amendment during COVID bill debate to replace massive rail project with mental health funding for students - Fox

The $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill passed by the House early Saturday includes more than $100 million for a public transit expansion in California -- over the objections of some Republicans. Those funds are aimed at drilling a new tunnel for phase two of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) expansion that would extend the existing public rail system into Silicon Valley, FOX Business previously reported.

Ahead of the overnight COVID bill vote, Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, introduced a motion to send the bill back to the budget committee in order to redirect the money from the BART expansion to mental health programs for students.

The CDC has warned that many young people’s “social, emotional and mental well-being” has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic as they have been forced to distance from family and friends, had breaks in the continuity of their learning and health care and have missed significant life events.

“We’ve seen increasing rates of depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges among our kids who have been trapped behind screens for a year now,” Hinson said.
Hinson alleged the BART expansion is a pet project” of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., rather than urgent pandemic relief. (Read more)

- Lord, the priorities of our Congress are truly messed up when they reject help for children in favor of a rail system. We pray for a solution for these issues. Let Your heart permeate all in Congress to change their direction.

- “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.” (Proverbs 21:2)

2. Federal Judge Rules Nationwide Eviction Ban Is Unconstitutional – The Epoch Times

A judge in Texas on Thursday ruled that the federal government does not have the authority to issue a nationwide eviction moratorium. U.S. District Judge John Barker, a Trump appointee, ruled in favor of a group of property managers and landlords who challenged a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) order that prevented them from temporarily evicting tenants for non-payment of rent during the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic.

The CDC order in question was initially issued in September 2020 and was originally set to expire on Dec. 31, 2020. It was extended to Jan. 31 and then again until the end of March. The order aimed to mitigate the spread of the pandemic by reducing congregation in shared living settings or in unsheltered homeless areas, and support state and local responses to the disease.

The order made it a crime for a landlord or property owner to evict a “covered person” from a residence, subject to several exceptions. Tenants who are covered by the order include those who have used their best efforts to obtain government assistance for rent or housing; or whose income falls below a certain income threshold. (Read more)

- Father, there are always problems when people are dependent upon government rather than You. We pray for Your provision for all who need financial help, and a move of Your Spirit to change their hearts.

- “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Ps. 34:18)

3. New Mexico governor signs bill to preserve abortion rights - AP

Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday signed a bill to shore up abortion rights in New Mexico, saying a woman has the right to make decisions about her own body.

The legislation, which won final approval from the Democratic-led Legislature last week, overturns a dormant 1969 ban on most abortion procedures. Had the old statute been left in place, New Mexico’s ban on most abortion procedures would have gone into effect if the U.S. Supreme Court eventually overturns the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling.

Lujan Grisham’s signature is no surprise as she had vowed to sign the measure as soon as it reached her desk. (Read more)

- Lord, the wickedness of politicians all over the country is coming to light quickly. We pray the Your people will rise up and pray, and that Your Spirit will bring conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

- “And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.” (John 16:8)

4. Amazon pulls Clarence Thomas documentary during Black History Month – The Blaze

Serving as just the latest example of Big Tech censorship, Amazon has pulled from its streaming service a documentary about Justice Clarence Thomas, the only black Supreme Court Justice, during Black History Month.

Viewers who attempt to watch the critically acclaimed documentary, "Created Equal: Clarence Thomas In His Own Words," which aims to tell the story of Thomas' celebrated life "truly and fully, without cover-ups or distortions," have not been able to do so since early February.

"This video is currently unavailable to watch in your location," reads the message viewers are presented with upon selecting the title. The documentary was also being sold in DVD format on Amazon's website, but as Friday afternoon it was listed as “currently unavailable” there, as well.

The film's producer and director, Michael Pack of Manifold Productions Inc., informed TheBlaze that the documentary was pulled from Amazon Prime Video on or around Feb. 8, meaning it has been unavailable for the better part of Black History Month. (Read more)

- Lord, we rebuke the “cancel culture” that sought to censor Justice Thomas simply because he is a Conservative. In the name of Jesus, we pray that his message will not be lost, but will be shared everywhere there are ears to hear.

“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15)

5. New Hampshire will confiscate voting machines that ‘shorted’ Republicans by 6% of votes- Lifesitenews

The New Hampshire attorney general’s office is moving to confiscate voting machines that were found to have “shorted” Republican candidates by 6% of votes in the 2020 election.

After a 24-vote margin in a state race triggered a recount in the city of Windham, officials found that vote scanners owned by Dominion Voting Systems shorted Republican candidates between 297 and 303 votes, or 6% of the total vote.

A Democratic candidate for state representative, Kristi St. Laurent, meanwhile, received 99 more votes than were actually cast for her.

“Either the machines were programmed to reflect unwarranted adjustments in multiples of 100 to the totals of all Republicans and the top voter receiver among Democrats or a significant number of ballots were double counted during the (recount) process,” St. Laurent told the New Hampshire ballot law commission last year. She described the glitch as a “massive and bizarre discrepancy between the results.”

The decades-old machines in question, which have yet to be audited, have lacked security updates for years, Patch reported, and may be employed in over 85% of New Hampshire towns.

- Lord, we thank You for this report. We pray that as more and more of this information comes to light, You will move to correct the results of the election.  We bind the lies of the media and loose repentance upon every portion of those who stubbornly refused to listen to cries of a rigged election.

“Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.”  (Proverbs 12:22)

6. Democrats release plan to bring back earmarks- Fox

The House Appropriation Committee unveiled a plan to bring back earmarks Friday, rebranding them as "community project funding."

Earmarks are avenues for lawmakers to direct funding to pet projects in their home districts in spending bills. They were banned in 2011 amid the Tea Party wave.

The committee says the earmark process has been "reformed" and with checks in place to make sure the project funding is dedicated to "genuine need and not subject to abuse." Earmarks have at times bred corruption and fraud.

Under the new plan, lawmakers would be required to post funding requests online to a searchable website the committee will set up when they submit them to the Appropriations Committee. (Read more)

- Father, we have seen much abuse in funding in just the Covid bill alone. Let this bill not be adopted.

- “Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.” (Luke 12:2)

7. South Dakota doctors must now protect babies born alive after failed abortion- Lifesitenews

On Wednesday, South Dakota governor Kristi Noem (R) signed into law historic protections for babies born alive after failed abortions.

“The pro-life cause continues even after a child is born,” Gov. Noem announced upon signing House Bill 1051. “Today, I signed Born Alive legislation to guarantee the right to life for every baby that is born alive.” HB 1051, also called “An Act to maintain the life of any child born alive,” mandates that medical professionals provide the same level of medical care to all babies, including those who survive botched abortions.

“The same means and medical skills and treatment provided a child born alive… must be employed and provided to every child born alive immediately following an abortion or an attempted abortion,” the bill reads. “This obligation applies to every physician who performs or attempts to perform an abortion that results in a child being born alive,” it continues. “Such physician has a physician-patient relationship with that child under the laws of this state, with all of the duties that attend that relationship.” (Read more)

 - Father, we thank You for this bill in South Dakota. May Your Spirit flood that state with life-changing power, and may the results of this bill be filled with Your favor and blessing.

“For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.”  (Psalm 5:12)

8. Border officials bracing for massive surge of unaccompanied children crossing US border in May after record-high February numbers – The Blaze

There were a record-high number of unaccompanied minors who crossed the southern border of the United States in February, but officials are preparing an even more robust number of unaccompanied children to attempt to enter into the U.S. in May.

A Health and Human Services official informed Axios, "We're seeing the highest February numbers that we've ever seen in the history of the [Unaccompanied Alien Child] program." The Unaccompanied Alien Child program was started in 2003 by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and has "provided care for and found suitable sponsors for almost 409,585 unaccompanied minors."

The Wall Street Journal reported this week, "The number of unaccompanied immigrant children arrested for crossing the U.S. southern border illegally is on pace to rise more than 50% in February compared with the previous month, people familiar with the matter said, raising the prospect of a humanitarian crisis there." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for a stop to this flood of migrants. We pray for protection over our borders, and if legislators continue to refuse, we pray for Your heavenly host to take up the banner of protection.

“Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear.”  (Isaiah 59:1)

9.  Ted Cruz introduces measures to prevent expansion of Supreme Court - Fox

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Thursday reintroduced legislation designed to preserve the independence of the Supreme Court, including a constitutional amendment that would require the Court be comprised of nine justices.

The constitutional amendment has drawn support from a range of Republican cosponsors including Republican Sens. Mike Braun of Indiana, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Marco Rubio of Florida, Todd Young of Indiana and Rick Scott of Florida.

The second proposal would prevent the congressional passage of legislation to add more justices to the high court.

"As my Democrat colleagues brazenly discuss expanding the number of justices on the Supreme Court, this legislation and constitutional amendment ensures we prevent either party from wielding the Supreme Court as a political tool for their own advantage," Cruz said in a statement. "I urge my colleagues to defend the fundamental liberties of their constituents—their religious liberty, freedom of speech, and Second Amendment rights—and swiftly take up and pass these proposals to prevent Court-packing."  (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord, for Senator Cruz and his determination to stop court packing. We pray Your favor upon him, and that this bill will not be shuffled aside as it was before, but that it will be passed.

-  “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.” (Psalm 144:1)

10. Biden Trans Health Nominee Urged ‘Accelerating’ Cross-Sex Hormones for “Street” Teens - Breitbart

In 2017, President Joe Biden’s transgender nominee for a top post at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recommended “accelerating” cross-sex hormones for homeless teens who are suffering from gender dysphoria and estranged from their parents.

Dr. Rachel Levine, born Richard Levine, delivered an address four years ago titled “It’s a Transgeneration: Issues in Transgender Medicine” to an audience at Franklin & Marshall College:

Levine said (at 28:00 in the video above) that those in the transgender medical industry who are seeing gender dysphoric teens from the “street,” living in homeless shelters, should not go through the usual procedure of first administering puberty blockers to stop normal puberty, but instead immediately prescribe cross-sex hormones.

Levine, who has served as secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, told listeners that homeless teens who say they are transgender have been “essentially thrown out by their parents because of their gender identity and expression.”

- Lord, this idea of giving young children drugs to stop puberty and change sexes is an abomination to You and Your people. Children have already been through the worst year in history for education and hardship, so placing them in a position to accept something that would destroy their futures is absolutely evil. We pray against such plans of this person and rebuke those plans in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Let nothing conceived along these lines be fulfilled.

- “For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.” (Eccl 12:14)

11. Washington Post Journalists Need To Protest Deplatforming From Jeff Bezos – The Federalist

Washington Post employees should vehemently protest their owner and his flagship company for eroding norms of free expression.

Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s famous founder and CEO, owns The Washington Post, a news outlet presumably staffed by people with an interest in preserving a culture of free expression given that it makes their journalism possible. Bezos is allowing Amazon’s corporate might to deplatform Ryan T. Anderson, a perfectly mainstream conservative writer who researches transgenderism with nuance and compassion.

Amazon recently yanked Anderson’s popular 2018 book “When Harry Became Sally: Responding To The Transgender Movement” from its digital shelves. The company sought to stack the deck against Abigail Shrier’s “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters” last summer as well. (Read more)

- Lord, we lift up Jeff Bazos to You. Convict his heart for the double-standard of promoting ‘free-speech’ yet canceling Amazon books which speak conservative truths that may not be popular in our culture. Your word says “There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death”. We pray that You would raise-up bold Washington Post journalists that will stand against this travesty. May Jeff Bazos recognize his conflict of interest and be wise in promoting true free-speech, by instead living life in fear of God and not of man. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

- “Pride leads to conflict, those who take advice are wise” (Proverbs 13:10)

The Daily Jot

Surviving these prophetic times

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 1, 2021

We are definitely living in prophetic times. We see the Democrats and the media labeling conservatives, Republicans, and Christians with detrimental terms, just for disagreeing with them. There was a headline today characterizing conservatives as the “good Germans of the Nazi era.” Many are spewing hate in their accusing others of hate. Conspiracy theories among Christians and conservatives abound, spread by false prophets, preying on those who want believe what they want to believe irrespective of the facts. As Christ said in Luke 21:8-9, “Take heed that you be not deceived, but when you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.”

. . . Work on getting fit—both physically and spiritually. Don’t overindulge in the worldly things—food, drink, news, conspiracies, rumors, gossip. Focus your mind on prayer and understanding that you may be wise in your actions and deeds. Fear and confusion are not of the Lord. Christ said to not be terrified when you see these things. Don’t be carried away by the doctrines of fools—they may lead you to calamity or an early death. Read your Bible. Ask for understanding. Draw close to the Lord. Share the light of Christ with others who are fearful and confused about the future. Know your faith no matter how dark the world becomes for as Christ said, “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

The Great Reset and the New World Order
In the Torahhouse prayer focus for January we were shown the dire plans of the Great Reset and the preparations for the New World Order (NWO).

Israel's "colonels" are also following this line, turning the great crisis into a great "new beginning". Some of Israel’s leaders are helping to drive this global change, working through global finance and social media.

Raising a Standard: A Guide to Prayer

Advancing the Kingdom in the Midst of Chaos and Injustice

“Righteousness and Justice are the foundations of Your throne.”

(Psalm 89:14)

We are pleased to share this teaching with you today, as we all grapple to know the heart and the will of God as we continue to pray for "all in authority" when we do not agree with their policies.

This teaching  was written by Sue Rowe who, with her husband Fred, are the founders of The Global Watch.  They are calling the watchmen, worldwide, to take our positions on the wall, as God establishes us, and to continue to intercede for the coming Kingdom on earth.

Here, then, is an excerpt from Sue's introduction to her guide to prayer:

" The Bible is filled with examples of people living in troubled and corrupt environments. From Joseph, Moses, Deborah, Esther, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, the minor prophets, to Jesus, the twelve disciples and the Acts Church, all had their challenges. There were two things in common in all of their lives. First, they did not withdraw from the culture, but engaged with it. Secondly, they were solidly grounded in the love of God and in His word. Below is a guideline to help us stay focused and moving forward as Watchmen in days of adversity. May they help us build a strong wall of living stones connected with tempered mortar and keep us moving forward for the Kingdom."

The topics in this study include:

1. Stance of Watchmen

2. Our Job as Watchmen

3. How to Pray for Unrighteous Government

Please go here to study all of this teaching for yourselves and to share this with others.

Mount Etna erupts again, leaving villages in Italy covered in ash

Residents living in the shadow of Mount Etna could be seen sweeping ash from the streets in the villages of Giarre, Fornazzo and Catania in Sicily, Italy, on Sunday after the volcano's latest eruption.

The ash plume reportedly reached 4 miles (6 km) into the atmosphere before it rained down on nearby villages, according to the Czech Republic's meteorological service.

Mount Etna, located along the eastern coast of Sicily, is the tallest and most active volcano in Europe, reaching around 10,900 feet (3,320 m) at its highest point.

The volcano has been active in recent weeks, creating spectacular light shows at night and sending plumes of ash as high as 6 miles (10 km) into the sky. While no injuries or fatalities have been reported from the recent eruptions, rounds of ash and volcanic rock have been a nuisance, pouring down on nearby villages and covering streets, houses and cars.

Sicily's Catania Airport has also been forced to close at times as ash and smoke create dangerous flying conditions. It is not uncommon for the airport to close for hours or days at a time when the volcano is active, The Associated Press reported.

On Feb. 22 and 24, the night sky was lit up with orange and red as Mount Etna sent lava into the air and racing down its slopes. (Accuweather)

Pro-life doctor’s medical license reinstated after he was suspended for refusing to do late-term abortion

Argentinian Dr. Leandro Rodríguez Lastra, a pro-life gynecologist whose registration had been suspended by the Ministry of Health in the Entre Ríos province because he refused to perform a late-term abortion, has been allowed to resume his medical practice after litigation.

His doctor’s license was withdrawn after he was convicted in Río Negro in March 2020 and deprived of his right to be employed in public institutions. Local health authorities had gone one step further, making it impossible for him to continue in private practice.

Because of his objection in 2017, the life of a baby was saved at 23 weeks' gestation after the little boy’s mother was refused a legal abortion that she sought on the grounds that she had been raped. Under the law, she had no obligation to prove the rape.

Classic Hymns

His Eye is on the Sparrow

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father…So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29)

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words: Civilla Martin
Music: Charles Gabriel

Scripture:

Lyrics:
Why should I feel discouraged,
Why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely,
And long for Heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion?
My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Refrain
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Let not your heart be troubled,
His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness,
I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth,
But one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Refrain

Whenever I am tempted,
Whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing,
When hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him,
From care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Refrain

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"  (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."  [Romans 13:1]
