Joseph Goebbels was Hitler’s Propaganda Minister. Ruthless and empowered by the Nazi regime, he systematically destroyed free speech and anything and anyone who deviated from what the Nazi’s considered “un-German.” Anti-Semitism fell into that category.

I am writing today about something that is heavy on my heart. As we celebrate the 244th anniversary of our founding, America is divided into opposing camps. On the one hand, it is noble and beautiful, generous to a fault, and remains a shining light set on a hill. I love her dearly and pray for her safety because she has many enemies whose passion is to destroy her.

As we look at the news every night, it seems as if more evil and chaos are released upon our nation. COVID stats are manipulated to discourage and control. Tweets organize “impromptu” riots. Churches risk losing electricity if they violate restrictions and guidelines. The Body of Christ has been convinced to stay home.

Father, help us to be agents of intercession for each one of our cities. Let us each step into our God-given roles in boldness.

Think back to our spiritual journey just 12 months ago. How many hours a week/a day did most of us spend in serious, focused, prayer?
