This message is not meant to bring us into a place of guilt or condemnation. Rather, this is the Father's heart of love for us: that we may be healed and receive the full measure of the blessing He has in store for us in this life. Thank you, each, for prayerfully considering these words.

As we continue to come before His Throne of Grace each day, we must enter into His gates with a heart of true repentance. Indeed, it is written, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8) Walking humbly before Him means to walk, day by day, in an attitude of repentance.
True repentance, however, does not only require that we confess our sins before our Lord, that we might be forgiven. This also includes the requirement that we then "turn from our wicked ways" to walk as He walked, displaying a Christlike attitude to all whom we meet along the way.
TRUE REPENTANCE YIELDS THE FRUIT OF A CHANGED LIFE - A LIFE THAT SHOWS A NEW HEART OF FLESH, HAVING BEEN DELIVERED FROM OUR HEART OF STONE.

Today's Prayer
Father God,
We come before Your Throne of Grace, freely admitting that we are a people who need to be forgiven of our sin. Thank You, Father, for the Cross. Thank You for Your love, poured out at Calvary, that we might receive salvation and become new creatures in You.
Lord God, we recognize that the call of the intercessor is a serious one, and that before we pray for anyone else, we must first approach Your Throne with clean hands and pure hearts. Help us, O Lord, to see our own sin and to confess it before You, that we might receive forgiveness. Help us to serve You as clean and holy vessels at the altar of intercession, as we lift up others -- including those in authority -- before You.
Help us, O Lord, to not get in the way of what You are doing in others' lives, but to "let go and let God" have Your way, and Your timing, in their lives.
Thank You, O Lord, that YOU are the potter and we are the clay. Mold us and use us, according to Your will, we pray, amen and amen.
