Laying Siege Over the Election:
Tuesday, October 27, 2020
Today is Day 7 of 21 Days
Prayer, Fasting and Repentance for Election Day
OUR PRAYER FOCUS: PRAYING THE WORD OF GOD
A Special Blessing:
A Vision of the Impact of Decreeing the Word out Loud
Saints of God,
Today we have a special blessing for all of you. On October 13th, Nita Johnson, Founder of Joel's Army, was given the following vision. We release this to you without comment, as this speaks for itself.
"I saw Scripture come out of my mouth, go up in the air until it looked like a rod over the nation going north and south.
Attached to the rod were these scriptures that were making a gossamer kind of sheet, and this invisible (HUGE) bird would fly across the nation and it would gently lay down the sheet on the soil to heal the nation. This is the Word. Then, when it reached the east coast, the bird would fly back again, so a second layer would be laid down, then a third layer, a fourth, etc. . . it was really beautiful."
The Word will bring healing to America!
PRAISE THE LORD!
Our verse to claim for today:
ISAIAH 55:11
It is written:
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
Our prayer:
"Father God, as we come before Your Throne of Grace this morning, we thank You for Your Word, which does not return void. We call forth Your people to intercede over this election; to observe our fast throughout today; and to praise You in the gates of our cities. In Your name we offer this prayer, amen."
Focus on Israel
1. Israel Will Partially Reopen Schools as Infection Rate Drops - Jewish Press
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened the Corona Cabinet on Sunday, which unanimously decided to commence with the next phase of easing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions Sunday.
Grades 3-4 will return to learning in capsules (pods), and grades 1-2 will learn in half classes on alternate days, as per Health Ministry conditions.
The education system and treasury have criticized this solution as useless and it may yet still be modified.
Kindergartens reopened a week ago after weeks of lockdown. All other schooling is being held online.
Discussions on easing other restrictions on the economy are still ongoing, and a final discussion and decision are expected on Thursday.
2. Israel begins mass-producing coronavirus vaccines ahead of human trials - Times of Israel
srael has begun mass-producing a potential coronavirus vaccine ahead of its human trials and plans to distribute it to both Israelis and Palestinians if it is approved for use, officials said Monday.
The Defense Ministry on Sunday announced that the first human trials of its coronavirus vaccine will begin on November 1 and continue through the spring before it can receive approval for full use.
"In six months, the vaccine will be ready. In the meantime, the institute is working on mass production, without knowing whether the vaccine is good or not, so that we don't reach a situation that in July, when we receive approval from the Health Ministry, we'll be held up by production," Prof. Amos Panet, who is on the advisory board for the Israel Institute for Biological Research, told Army Radio.
3. Mossad chief: Saudis next to recognize Israel after US election - World Israel News
The head of the Mossad said that Saudi Arabia is waiting until after the U.S. elections to declare normalization with Israel as an achievement for the incoming president, Channel 12 reported on the weekend.
Yossi Cohen spoke in closed talks about the fact that there is a very large effort in the Saudi arena with great pressure, apparently by the United States, to reach an agreement.
"They seem to be waiting for the U.S. election, to give a 'gift' to the president-elect," Cohen said.
Behind the scenes there is an arms deal between the United States and Saudi Arabia to cushion the move and also to solidify an internal achievement in American politics. The deal might involve the F-35 stealth bomber that Israel has in its arsenal.
4. Number of Jews in Europe falls to 1,000-year low - World Israel News
The number of Jews in Europe, including Britain, Turkey and Russia, has fallen to a 1,000-year low, according to a new study conducted by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research in London published on Sunday.
According to the study, there are only 1.3 million people currently living in Europe who define themselves as Jews. This is the same number counted by famous Jewish traveler and scholar Benjamin of Tudela in 1170.
The study shows that since 1970, Europe has lost some 60 percent of its Jewish population. In 1970, there were 3.2 million Jews living in Europe. According to the study, 1.5 million Jews left Europe after the fall of the Iron Curtain.
Apart from that emigration, Jews have been leaving countries in western Europe, such as France. In 1970, France was home to 530,000 Jews, as opposed to only 449,000 today. A total of 51,455 French Jews moved to Israel, while others emigrated to Canada, largely in response to rising anti-Semitism in France.
5. PM Netanyahu: Israel to send $5 million in food aid to Sudan - Israel Hayom
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel will send $5 million in food aid to Sudan just days after Khartoum announced the normalization of ties with the Jewish state.
"We are looking forward to a warm peace and are sending $5 million worth of wheat immediately to our new friends in Sudan," the Prime Minister's Office said in a tweet. "Israel will be working closely with the USA to assist Sudan's transition."
Sudanese and Israeli officials are slated to meet in the coming weeks to discuss a package of cooperation deals to "achieve the mutual interests of the two peoples," Sudan's Foreign Ministry confirmed.
The ministry statement said the deals would cover agriculture, trade, aviation and migration, but did not provide details on the timing or location of the meetings.
