US launches 2nd round of airstrikes on Iran-backed groups it says attacked American troops

The U.S. military on Wednesday said American warplanes struck a weapons storage facility in eastern Syria that officials said was being used by Iran-backed militants responsible for dozens of drone and rocket attacks against American troops in the region over the last three weeks.

It was the second such strike in the past two weeks.

"Today, at President Biden’s direction, U.S. military forces conducted a self-defense strike on a facility in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups," Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement. "This strike was conducted by two U.S. F-15s against a weapons storage facility. This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates. The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests.

"The United States is fully prepared to take further necessary measures to protect our people and our facilities. We urge against any escalation. U.S. personnel will continue to conduct counter-ISIS missions in Iraq and Syria," he said.

"Between October 17 and November 7 ... U.S. forces have been attacked at least 40 times," Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said on Tuesday.

More than half of those attacks came after Oct. 26, when U.S. fighter jets struck two weapons and ammunition facilities in eastern Syria that officials said were used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and affiliated groups.

So far, 46 U.S. service members have been identified with signs of traumatic brain injuries, or minor wounds such as perforated eardrums, tinnitus and rolled ankles, Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters Monday.

Most troops have returned to duty, but two were taken to U.S. hospital facilities in Landstuhl, Germany, for further examination and care, Ryder said.

In a statement following the Oct. 26 American counterstrikes, Austin blamed the Iranian regime for the attacks on U.S. forces, and vowed further action if the aggression were to continue. (ABC News) Read more

- Father God, we thank You that it is clear that this nation will stand for our own men and women in uniform; and that we WILL fight back, when needed. We ask for every
success on the battlefield, sparing the lives of our military and causing the enemy to stand down. In Your Name, Lord, amen and amen.

- "And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens." Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Antisemite) Censured by House
Rashida Tlaib Breaks Down in Tears on House Floor as She Attempts to Make Herself the Victim
... when the House on Tuesday rightfully voted to censure her for her hateful, anti-Semitic and anti-American rhetoric, her dramatics didn’t move my heart. According to Politico, the vote was 234-188, with 22 Democrats supporting it and four Republicans opposed.

Not only has Tlaib addressed and provoked anti-Semitic crowds on Capitol Hill, but she has lied to her supporters, blaming Israel for the bombing of a hospital and refusing to apologize even after the evidence proved that the rocket actually belonged to the Hamas terrorist organization, according to ABC News.

Tlaib also posted a video on X with the anti-Semitic chant, “From the river to the sea” — the first half of a Palestinian slogan that ends with “Palestine must be free.” It’s a statement that implies the end of Israel as a sovereign nation and, by extension, the eradication of the Jewish people who live in it.

The measure to censure Tlaib, introduced by GOP Rep. Rich McCormick, accused Tlaib of “promoting false narratives regarding the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and for calling for the destruction of the state of Israel,” according to NPR.

Tlaib burst into tears as she spoke in her defense on the House floor, saying, “I can’t believe I have to say this but Palestinian people are not disposable,” she said.

Quickly recovering from her tears, Tlaib went on to make an impassioned speech calling for a ceasefire in Israel’s war against Hamas.

What was striking about her speech was that while she called out Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s “extremism” and the American government’s support of “collective” punishment, there was no mention of Hamas.

There was no mention of the horrifying atrocities committed on Oct. 7.

There was no mention of the families burned in their beds. Young people slaughtered en masse. Women raped.

No mention of the fact that a Hamas leader has unequivocally promised that Oct. 7 attacks will happen “again and again” “until Israel is annihilated,” according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

No mention of the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran, which sponsors Hamas, is determined to destroy the United States as well.
-- Floyd G. Brown
Founder of The Western Journal

- Father God, we agree with these words written by Floyd Brown. The only tears we shed are those shed on behalf of the Israelis, who have now been thrust into their own Holocaust, once again. We ask that the American people not be moved by her tears, but by the facts of what has happened during this horrible massacre. Let us join together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, in Your Name, Lord God, amen and amen.
- "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you."

Deposit delays: Fed tells banks to get customers help

Federal Reserve officials are urging banks to work with customers hurt by ongoing deposit delays that have prevented some people from accessing their paychecks and other funds.

A number of customers still haven’t received their direct deposit paychecks following a “human error” that damaged the plumbing of America’s banking system. The deposit delays are linked to a problem that emerged on Friday with the Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments system, causing headaches for consumers and employers.

“The Federal Reserve encourages banks to work quickly to resolve issues for customers experiencing delays in receiving direct deposit payments as a result of operational issues at a private sector payments provider,” a Fed spokesman told CNN in a statement.

Fed officials signaled they want banks to help customers by waiving overdraft or late fees. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau similarly told CNN on Monday that consumers “should not be penalized” by fees and penalties.

JPMorgan Chase has already said it will waive overdraft fees.

“The Federal Reserve’s payments services are separate and functioned normally,” the Fed spokesperson said on Tuesday. Banks stressed to customers that all funds are secure. Payments that did not go through late last week had to be resent, a process that can take time. It’s not clear how widespread the impact continues to be or how long it will take for all customers to receive their deposits.

Bank of America and Chase are among the companies where users are reporting problems on Downdetector. Wells Fargo, US Bank, Truist and other banks where users reported problems on Friday ranked lower on Downdetector. (CNN) Read more here.
- Lord God, most of us, the "little people," really have little understanding of how the banking system works, but we do know Who does -- You.

We place our trust not in our banks, but in You, Jehovah Jireh -- our Provider -- and we know that You own the cattle on a thousand hills and are well able to care for those who place their trust in You.

Thank You, O Lord, for solving this problem and for giving Your wisdom to those in authority who can straighten out this mess. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- "For every beast of the forest is Mine,
And the cattle on a thousand hills."

Hostage Families' Warning: America 'You Are Next'

Five hostages of Hamas are free, offering some hope to the families of more than 200 others snatched in southern Israel during the terrorists' deadly rampage on Oct. 7.

But the families of those still in captivity have questions, such as why progress has been so slow, why some and not others are being released, and whether Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip puts their loved ones in danger.

They also have warnings.

"I want to thank everyone here for having us, for the American government that helps us," one Israeli said Tuesday during a press conference with House Republican leadership on Capitol Hill. "But it is not enough. We need help now. We don't know what is their condition.

"This is a call for action and this is a wake-up call not only for Israel, not only for the Jewish community. This is a wake-up call for all of you here, all of America, all of Europe. You are next. You are next. And we should do everything that we can to stop these atrocities to come ever again. We need to remember the 7th of October and do whatever we can to stop this."

Israel on Oct. 30 announced its first hostage rescue — that of army Pvt. Ori Megidish. Hamas had earlier released Americans Judith Raanan, 59, and her daughter, Natalie, 18. Also let go were Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, along with Nurit Cooper, 79. Their husbands remain in captivity.

Hamas has said it would let the others go in return for thousands of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, which has dismissed the offer.

Here are stories of some of the more than 200 still held. (Newsmax) Read more here.

- Father God, as we write this prayer, we note this headline now published on Fox News:

"Israel pushes deeper into Gaza as UN estimates 15,000 flee South." Clearly, this news is now changing hour by hour  . . .

We take heed of the warning of the relatives of these hostages, and we lift up prayer for the successful freeing of all hostages now being held in Gaza. We ask, too, that this strategy, of taking hostages in war, would CEASE, never to be seen again.
Help us, O Lord, to wage wars successfully in the future, without danger to our citizens, in Your Name, Abba, amen and amen!

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Qatar works for release of 10-15 hostages in exchange for pause in fighting - Times of Israel

Qatar is mediating negotiations between Israel and Hamas for the potential release of 10-15 hostages held in Gaza in exchange for a humanitarian pause in fighting, a source briefed on the talks told AFP Wednesday.

“Negotiations mediated by the Qataris in coordination with the US are ongoing to secure the release of 10-15 hostages in exchange for a one- to two-day ceasefire,” the informed source said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the talks’ sensitivity.

A source close to Hamas corroborated the report on Wednesday evening, claiming that talks are underway for the release of a dozen hostages it is holding, including six Americans, in return for a three-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

2. Israel says it does not intend to 'reoccupy' Gaza or control it for long time - Reuters

WASHINGTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Israel does not intend to "reoccupy" Gaza or control it for a long time, a senior Israeli official said in Washington, as Israeli forces pressed their offensive against Hamas militants in the Palestinian coastal enclave.

"We assess that our current operations are effective and successful, and we'll continue to push," the Israeli official told reporters late on Tuesday, speaking on condition of anonymity. "It's not unlimited or forever," the official added, without giving a specific timeframe.

Israel has so far been vague about its long-term plans for the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, should it succeed in its air, land, and sea operation to vanquish Hamas following a deadly Oct. 7 rampage in southern Israel by the Islamist militants. (Read more)

3. IDF says its entire 252nd Reserve Division is operating inside Gaza - Times of Israel

The Israel Defense Forces releases new information on the operations of the 252nd Reserve Division in the Gaza Strip during Israel’s ground offensive which began late last month.

With the 252nd Division fighting in Gaza, it marks the first time since the 1982 First Lebanon War that an entire IDF reserve division is maneuvering in enemy territory.

The IDF says that in recent days the division captured the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza, while engaging in battles with Hamas operatives and demolishing the terror group’s infrastructure, including tunnels. It says that since the beginning of the fighting, the 252nd Division has killed hundreds of Hamas operatives, including senior members, in Beit Hanoun and Jabaliya. (Read more)

5. ‘We Won’t Look the Other Way’: Argentine Intellectuals Launch Forum to Combat ‘Genocidal Anti-Zionism’ - Algemeiner

More than 50 prominent intellectuals, artists, and politicians in Argentina have endorsed the founding statement of a new initiative created to combat antisemitism and anti-Zionism in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas pogrom in Israel.

The statement announcing the formation of the Argentine Forum Against Antisemitism (FACA) was published on Tuesday and widely covered by local news outlets. “We won’t look the other way, we are going to defend Israel and denounce antisemitism,” Sabrina Ajmechet, a parliamentarian and a co-founder of FACA, declared.

Noting that the Hamas pogrom was the worst single atrocity targeting Jews since the Holocaust, the FACA statement observed that Hamas terrorists had committed the “worst atrocities.” It noted that among the more than 200 hostages seized and taken to Gaza, 22 were Argentine nationals. (Read more)

1. House Censures Rashida Tlaib, Citing ‘River to the Sea’ Slogan - New York Times

The House voted on Tuesday to censure Representative Rashida Tlaib, Democrat of Michigan, formally rebuking the sole Palestinian American in Congress for her statements regarding the Israel-Hamas war.

Twenty-two Democrats joined most Republicans to pass the resolution, which accuses Ms. Tlaib of “promoting false narratives” surrounding Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel and of “calling for the destruction of the state of Israel.” The vote was 234 to 188. Four Republicans voted against censuring Ms. Tlaib, while one Democrat and three Republicans voted “present,” declining to take a position.

After the gavel fell, Democratic lawmakers, mostly progressives, surrounded Ms. Tlaib on the floor and embraced her. The measure, offered by Representative Rich McCormick, Republican of Georgia, argued that a statement Ms. Tlaib made after Hamas’s attack on Israel — calling for the end of “the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance” — “defended” terrorism. - Lord God, we pray for unity in Congress, and in the House of Representatives. We pray, Lord, that every representative will be on the same page to protect the rights of Americans, and to stand up for those who are oppressed. We pray for all races and all nations experiencing loss, Lord, that you would help all of our brothers and sisters in Christ to bring them comfort and peace, in Jesus' name, amen.

2.  Florida Severs Ties with the American Library Association - The Washington Stand

The state of Florida in October joined a growing number of states that have cut ties with the American Library Association (ALA) over its promotion of Marxism and sexually explicit reading materials to children. Florida’s Division of Library and Information Services, a division of the Florida Department of State, issued a new rule stipulating that it would “not allow grant project activities associated” with the American Library Association or its affiliates, Politico reported.

The ALA has publicly opposed Florida’s policy to remove sexually explicit content from schools. On August 31, the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), a division of the ALA “formally commend[ed]” the Florida Freedom to Read Project, an activist organization organizing against the DeSantis administration’s push to rid schools of inappropriate content.

The organization’s Twitter logo depicts a Progress Flag constructed of books; their Twitter feed going back to October 25-26 defended sexually explicit content such as “Gender Queer” and alleged such books have “similar material” to the Bible. According to data released in February, 153 out of 175 (87%) books removed from Florida schools were “pornographic, violent or inappropriate for the grade level for some other reason.” (Read more)

- Lord, You have given parents the tremendous honor, blessing and responsibility to raise children according to Your will. The battle for our children’s hearts and minds is waged on our knees. When we don’t pray, it’s like sitting on the sidelines watching our children in a war zone getting shot at from every angle. When we do pray, we’re in the battle alongside them. Help us to be fully in the battle, praying Your Word over our children unceasingly. In Your Name, Lord, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

3. Only MLB Team Not to Bend Knee to ‘Pride’ Pressure Just Won World Series - The Daily Signal

The Texas Rangers, who won their first World Series in 63 seasons Wednesday night, is also the only team in Major League Baseball not to hold a “Pride Night”-style event celebrating LGBTQ individuals.

A total of 29 out of 30 MLB teams have hosted a Pride Night, but the Rangers’ refusal to give in to the pressure is a “courageous stand against the tsunami of corporate wokeness,” The Washington Stand’s Joshua Arnold wrote last year.
Many sports fans criticize Pride Nights for funding and promoting woke or anti-Christian groups as well as those focused on sexual or gender identity.

The Texas Rangers’ World Series victory comes after a variety of American sports have enforced what some call “totalitarian” wokeness on players and fans.
Earlier this year, players for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League were scheduled to wear “LGBT Pride” jerseys during a warmup, but none did.  (Read more)

- Lord, thank You for those who are unashamed to be different and not bow down to peer pressure from culture and society. Let this be an example to others that you do not have to go with the flow in order to have success. As Your followers, we pray as Paul did that You give us boldness to speak and live as You would have us do. In this culture of deception and resistance to truth, we need to hold firm to Your truth now, more than ever. Amen.

-“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,” (Ephesians 6:19)

4. Jewish Americans turning to firearms to protect themselves, their families as antisemitism surges - Fox News

Jewish Americans are taking drastic measures to protect themselves and their loved ones, with many turning to firearms for the first time amid an alarming surge in antisemitism nationwide.

Florida gun store owner David Kowalsky addressed the growing number of Jews seeking to buy firearms and train with guns during "America's Newsroom" as many fear for their safety as war rages between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East.

"I have a lot of people coming in saying that they've never thought they'd be in this position where they had to purchase own or train with a firearm," Kowalsky told Dana Perino Tuesday. "And they're coming in and wanting more information on how to obtain one train with one and to be able to protect their family and loved ones." (Read more)

- Lord God, we come against the spirits behind antisemitism, division, strife, and hatred towards fellow brothers and sisters, and we bind them and we break their powers right now in the name of Jesus. We loose your love Lord, over our Jewish brothers and sisters, and over every race, and every creed that we would all treat one another with love and respect, because we all come from the same source which is You ,Father! In Jesus' name, amen!

- “Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!”  (Hebrews 12:9)

5. Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Rob Walker subpoenaed by James Comer - Washington Examiner

The House Oversight Committee issued three subpoenas on Wednesday for President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, his brother, James Biden, and a Biden family business associate, Rob Walker.

These are three of the most consequential subpoenas that House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has filed during his investigation. The subpoenas are for depositions for testimony related to the House GOP's impeachment inquiry.

Hunter Biden and James Biden are centerpieces of Comer’s investigation into Biden and his family’s overseas business.
Through the investigation, Comer has found that Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from foreign oligarchs and companies. (Read more)

- Lord God, we continue to cover this situation in prayer. We thank you for those that are choosing to stand up for righteousness and justice, and bring down those that are using and abusing their position of power for their own personal gain. We declare that those involved will be held accountable, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” (Psalm 37:7)

6. Trump releases statement, outraged over daughter being forced to testify in NY trial - DML News

Former President Donald Trump voiced his outraged in a post on his Truth Social page Tuesday night, regarding his daughter, Ivanka, being forced to testify in the New York “fraud” trial against him.

New York Attorney General Letitia James has accused Trump of fraud, claiming he overvalued his real estate assets, despite that no fraud victims exist.
Trump’s statement reads:

Tomorrow my wonderful and beautiful daughter, Ivanka, is going to the Lower Manhattan Courthouse, at the direction of Letitia Peekaboo James, the Corrupt and Racist New York State Attorney General, who has allowed Murder and Violent Crime in New York to flourish, and a Trump Hating, out of control Clubhouse appointed Judge, Arthur Engoron, who viciously ruled against me before the trial even started, wouldn’t even consider a Jury, and said that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, is worth $18,000,000 when, in fact, it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. Other properties likewise. (Read more)

- Lord, we continue to lift up President Trump and his family and all those being wrongly accused in this particular trial in prayer. We pray supernatural energy, strength and wisdom over all of them, that you would comfort them in this dark time. We cover this trial in the blood of Jesus, and we pray Lord, that justice will be served, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.” (Matthew 5:11)

7. Zelensky: ‘Absolutely Irresponsible’ to Suggest Holding Elections in Ukraine - Brietbart

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told his people in a nightly address on Monday that discussions about the scheduled 2024 presidential election in his country were “absolutely irresponsible” in light of the ongoing Russian invasion of his country.

Zelensky became president after winning the 2019 election as the “pro-Russian” candidate against the establishment, pro-West incumbent Petro Poroshenko. The current president’s approval ratings had declined significantly in 2020 in response to his perceived poor response to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic but skyrocketed in response to the Russian “special operation” to oust him that began in February 2021.

Zelensky’s presidential term is scheduled to end in 2024 but, as Ukraine is currently in a state of martial law, it is unconstitutional to hold a presidential race. Zelensky had previously stated that he would be open to holding elections if Western countries paid for them, however, and his top diplomat Dmytro Kuleba had suggested Kyiv was open to a presidential election this year as recently as November 3. - Lord God, we lift up the Ukrainian people to you that you continue to comfort them and help them and supernaturally provide for them during this war. Comfort every heart that is broken, that has experienced trauma and loss. We pray, Lord, that the peoples' voices can be heard, and that an election can be made possible even during this difficult time. We also pray against this tactic here in America that the peoples' voices will be heard in 2024, and that no war can stop it, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”" (Proverbs 31:8,9)

 8. House GOP crafting major FISA reform to block snooping on Americans’ phone records without warrants - Just The News

House Judiciary Committee Republicans are pressing ahead with sweeping reforms to the government’s FISA surveillance powers that among other things would would prohibit the FBI from searching through Americans’ phone records without a court-approved warrant.

The effort is on track to be wrapped up by the end of the year when several Patriot Act powers expire. Republicans and Democrats are coming together on this matter in rare bipartisan cooperation, lawmakers told Just the News.

“We've got, I think, strong agreement amongst members of the Intel Committee and members of the Judiciary Committee. And frankly some Democrats as well, that there needs to be stronger penalties if you abuse the system,” Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told the "Just the News, No Noise" television show in an interview aired Friday night. - We thank you, Lord God for righteous and just leaders that use their power and influence to stand up for the rights of the people they represent. We pray Lord that major changes will be made to these federal agencies and that Americans' rights to privacy will be protected, in Jesus' name, amen.

Stupidocrisy: Obama’s Stab At Moral Equivalency

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 8, 2023

Former occupant of the Oval Office Barack Obama tried to make a case that everyone is complicit for the violence by Hamas because of allowing the “occupation” by Israel. Obama, continuing to stir the pot of leftism with his former staffers on “Pod Save America” November 3, said, “If there’s any chance of us being able to act constructively, to do something, it will require an admission of complexity. And maintaining, what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas — that what Hamas did was horrific, and there’s no justification for it; and what is also true is that the occupation [sic] and what’s happening to Palestinians is unbearable.” Apparently, Obama couldn’t resist lecturing America once again against Israel.

Let’s be clear: There is no moral equivalency in what Hamas did to Israel. Anyone with any sense can see that raping, torturing, dismembering, ripping babies from the womb, killing kids in front of parents and then killing the parents cannot be justified in any case. Nor can it be used as justification for some phantom “occupation” by a clearly establish nation that is often attacked from all sides. Let’s also be clear: There is no Israeli “occupation” in Gaza. Gaza was the first experiment forced by President George W Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon that the “Palestinians” could live side by side in peace with Israel. Israelis left Gaza under gunfire and missiles and it hasn’t stopped since September 2005. This is not about poor oppressed “Palestinians.” It’s about hatred for Israel and the extinction of Jews. NASA’s Lucy Surprises Again, Observes 1st-ever Contact Binary Orbiting Asteroid
It turns out there is more to the “marvelous” asteroid Dinkinesh and its newly discovered satellite than first meets the eye. As NASA’s Lucy spacecraft continued to return data of its first asteroid encounter on Nov. 1, 2023, the team was surprised to discover that Dinkinesh’s unanticipated satellite is, itself, a contact binary – that is, it is made of two smaller objects touching each other.

In the first downlinked images of Dinkinesh and its satellite, which were taken at closest approach, the two lobes of the contact binary happened to lie one behind the other from Lucy's point of view. Only when the team downlinked additional images, captured in the minutes around the encounter, was the true nature of this object revealed.

“Contact binaries seem to be fairly common in the solar system,” said John Spencer, Lucy deputy project scientist, of the Boulder, Colorado, branch of the San-Antonio-based Southwest Research Institute. “We haven’t seen many up-close, and we’ve never seen one orbiting another asteroid. We’d been puzzling over odd variations in Dinkinesh’s brightness that we saw on approach, which gave us a hint that Dinkinesh might have a moon of some sort, but we never suspected anything so bizarre!” Read More

Multiple States Sue FDA for Allowing Abortion Pills to Be Sent by Mail
Republican attorneys general in three states—Idaho, Kansas, and Missouri—have sued several Biden administration agencies, alleging that they unlawfully approved shipment of dangerous abortion drugs by mail while rolling back key safety precautions, exposing women and girls who get chemical abortions to potential harm. Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said Monday that his office has filed a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) over the agencies' illegal approval of shipments of chemical abortion drugs (mifepristone and misoprostol) by mail across the United States. “Unelected federal bureaucrats do not have the statutory authority to approve the shipment of these dangerous chemical abortion drugs in the mail,” Mr. Bailey said in a statement. According to health officials, mifepristone blocks the hormone progesterone that is needed for a pregnancy to continue. When used with misoprostol, the pill is used to end a pregnancy through 10 weeks.

The lawsuit alleges that the FDA violated multiple federal laws by approving the "untested" abortion drugs, risking potential harm to women and girls who undergo chemical abortions. It seeks to restore safeguards around the use of the drugs, including requiring that they be dispensed in-person by a physician. The FDA told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement that it would not comment on ongoing or pending litigation. The lawsuit asks the court to block the 2016 rollback of most of the safety precautions the FDA had put in place when it first approved mifepristone in 2000. It also calls on the judge to halt the FDA's approval in 2019 of generic mifepristone, and to put a freeze on the 2021 and 2023 policies that allowed abortion drugs to be sent by mail, which would effectively restore an in-person dispensing requirement. “The FDA’s guidance is not only unlawful, but would cost the lives of both women and their unborn children. I am proud to be leading a coalition of states to halt the FDA’s illegal federal overreach in its tracks,” Mr. Bailey said. (The Epoch Times) Read More Here

- Father, we thank You for District Attorneys who are making the FDA accountable for the illegal removal of restrictions on mail-order abortion pills! May this unlawful over-reach, making abortion easier, end immediately. Bring to light the dangerous impact of chemical abortion upon women's bodies and the unborn, in order to restore all safe-guards in protecting women across America!  Make a way for a change of heart for women deceived by these "convenience pills" that Your rescue may shield the unborn! In the mighty name of Jesus Christ- Amen.

- "Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward" (Psalm 127:3)

"'Cursed be anyone who takes a bribe to shed innocent blood'. And all the people shall say, 'Amen'" (Deuteronomy 27:25)
Thoughts for the Day
"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
Do not fret—it only causes harm."

(Psalm 37:7,8)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." (Romans 15:13)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Words: Fanny Crosby
Music: Robert Lowry

Scripture: The Lamb…will lead them to springs of living water. Revelation 7:17

Lyrics:
All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way.
