Judge Overturns Primary Election, Calling Evidence of Fraud ‘Shocking’
|
|
A primary election in Connecticut has been overturned by a judge, who said the evidence presented was "shocking."
The Sept. 12 Democrat primary for the race to become Bridgeport's mayor included thousands of absentee ballots. John Gomes, one of the candidates, presented evidence indicating some of the ballots were cast fraudulently.
State law enables absentee voting but contains multiple rules, including that a person who helps distribute more than five absentee applications must register with the town clerk as a distributor.
Wanda Geter-Pataky is a city worker who supports another mayoral candidate, the party-endorsed Mayor Joe Ganim. She and Eneida Martinez, another supporter of Mr. Ganim, did not register as absentee ballot distributors or sign any applications, which is required if they assisted voters, nor were they designated by absentee voters to drop off absentee ballots.
Both women were captured on video dropping off multiple absentee ballots, on multiple occasions, into drop boxes. They each declined to testify during the fraud trial, asserting their Fifth Amendment rights. (Read more) |

House Democrats Critical Of Israel Drawing Primary Challenges Over Their Positions
|
|
Several House Democrats who have criticized Israel over its response to terrorist attacks by Hamas on Oct. 7 have drawn primary challenges for their seats in 2024.
The Biden administration and the leaders of both parties in both houses of Congress have supported Israel in the aftermath of the attacks, which killed over 1,000 Israelis, many in a gruesome manner. However, a few members of the House Democratic Caucus who support Palestinian political interests have criticized Israel for its military response to the attacks, which has led to several candidates challenging them for their offices in 2024’s congressional elections.
Democratic Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri’s 1st District, a former Black Lives Matter activist who has strongly opposed Israeli action in Gaza following the attacks, is being challenged by St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell, who dropped his challenge to Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri in order to take on Bush. Bell identified Bush’s posture on the issue of Israel as a primary reason for his candidacy.
“I think that we need to make certain that we are providing that effective leadership, not only in our district but in D.C. and on the world stage,” Bell said, according to a video of a press conference announcing his candidacy. “Understand this unique place that we are with the world literally on fire … we cannot give aid and comfort to a terrorist organization, and Hamas is a terrorist organization,” he added. Speaker Johnson Floats Novel Idea for Avoiding Government Shutdown
|
|
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) floated the idea of a “laddered” continuing resolution (CR), a novel idea for avoiding a potential government shutdown on Nov. 17, when the 45-day stop-gap funding law expires.
“Potentially, you would do a CR that extends individual pieces of the appropriations process, individual bills,” Mr. Johnson said at a Nov. 2 press conference.
The idea could be a lifesaver for the newly elected speaker, who could soon find himself between the same rock and hard place that crushed his predecessor: the choice between allowing the government to shut down for lack of funding and passing a stop-gap spending bill.
In his first full week as speaker, Mr. Johnson is racing to complete the 12 spending bills required by law before the Nov. 17 deadline. When that’s complete, discrepancies between the two sets of bills must be ironed out between the two chambers.
That’s not going to happen by Nov. 17, according to Mr. Johnson.

1. Netanyahu to foreign envoys: ‘Europe will be next’ - JNS
If Israel does not defeat Iranian terrorism, Europe will be next and “no one will be safe,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told ambassadors to the Jewish state on Monday, asking them to support Israel’s war against the Hamas terrorist group.
“What we see is a broader battle between civilization and barbarism. The barbarism is led by an Axis of Terror. The Axis of Terror is led by Iran. It includes Hamas, Hezbollah, [the] Houtis and their other minions,” said the prime minister.
Netanyahu continued, “They seek to bring the Middle East and the world back to a dark age. They seek to torpedo, to derail, any progress towards peace and the progress and the promise that we had in our budding peace treaties with our Arab neighbors. (Read more)

2. IDF Takes Over Hamas Base, Hits 450 Air Targets in 24 Hours - Algemeiner
i24 News — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday reported taking control of a Hamas base in Gaza. Additionally, the IDF attacked 450 aerial targets and killed a commander of the Palestinian terrorist group during the last 24 hours.
According to the IDF spokesperson’s statement, the Hamas base seized by the military “had observation posts, training complexes for terrorist operatives, as well as terrorist tunnels.”
Among the aerial targets hit by the air force were “military compounds, observation posts, anti-tank posts, and more.” The naval forces hit Hamas’ “headquarters, anti-tank missile launching positions, and other observation posts.”
The Hamas commander killed by the IDF was Jamal Musa, who was responsible for special security in the terrorist organization Hamas. In 1993, Musa carried out a shooting attack against IDF forces who were patrolling the territory of the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

3. Hamas claims responsibility for rocket barrage from Lebanon -JNS
Hamas terrorists in Southern Lebanon fired some 30 rockets at Israel on Monday night, triggering air-raid sirens in cities including Haifa, Nahariya and Akko.
“Approximately 30 launches were identified from Lebanon towards northern Israel over the last hour. The IDF is responding with artillery fire towards the origin of the launches,” the Israel Defense Forces said.
The military intercepted several rockets. Most of the projectiles fell into the Mediterranean Sea.
The Hamas terrorist organization in Lebanon claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying it “struck the occupied city of Nahariya and southern Haifa in northern occupied Palestine [i.e., Israel] with 16 missiles.” (Read more)

4. Israeli refugees slam United Nations for silence - World Israel News
Two hundred fifty Israeli families displaced by the war with Hamas on Monday accused the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees of ignoring their plight, writing in a letter to Geneva that the agency has not offered them any assistance because they are Jews.
“Nothing has been done to fulfill the UNHCR’s principle of ‘leaving no-one behind’ or ‘build[ing] effective approaches to resilience’ and recovery for Israeli IDPs (internally displaced individuals) who bore witness to Hamas atrocities,” read the missive, an initiative of Shurat HaDin-Israel Law Center.
While Israeli refugees are effectively forgotten, a multitude of U.N. agencies are working to support Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, noted the families. (Read more)

5. Week 5 - Live updates: Commander of Hamas’ Deir al-Balah Battalion killed in IDF airstrike - Israel National News
Israel entered its fifth week of war, which has been dubbed "Swords of Iron," on Saturday. The war was sparked on October 7th, when the Hamas terrorist organization launched a surprise attack by land, air, and sea. After a heavy barrage of several thousand rockets, Hamas terrorists invaded Israeli territory, infiltrating military bases and civilian population centers, where they massacred the inhabitants and took others captive. As of Sunday, November 5, over 1,400 Israelis have been killed, about 4,000 were injured, and at least 210 Israelis, including civilians, are in Hamas captivity.
IDF troops are continuing to eliminate terrorists in close-quarter combat and direct aircraft to strike Hamas terrorist infrastructure, weapons depots, observation posts, and command and control centers in the Gaza Strip. Overnight, IDF troops directed aircraft to strike a Hamas military compound containing command and control centers, observation posts, and additional terrorist infrastructure.
During the combined activities of ground, air, and naval forces in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war, over 2,500 terror targets have been struck.

1: Exclusive Photos: Migrants Leave ID, U.N.-Provided Maps at Mexican Border Crossing into Texas- Breitbart
The last actions by thousands of migrants crossing into Texas from Mexico are evidenced by discarded identity documents and detailed maps to the United States. The maps are provided to the migrants by several international organizations, including the United Nations, Doctors Without Borders, and the International Red Cross.
Breitbart Texas traveled into Mexico to explore the busiest migrant crossing points along the Rio Grande across from Eagle Pass, Texas, on Friday, noting the vast amount of refuse and documents left behind.
At one landing in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, numerous CBP One Applications were torn and left behind by the migrants who grew tired of waiting in Mexico for an available appointment to be admitted through the nearby Eagle Pass Port of Entry. Rather than wait in Mexico in hopes of being selected for one of 1,400 daily appointments nationwide, the migrants chose to leave the documents behind and ford the Rio Grande.
Among the garbage strewn along the riverbank in Mexico, identity documents left behind by migrants from Colombia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Venezuela are signs the migrants want to break all ties with previous countries where they have been granted refuge that may hinder an asylum case. (Read more)

2: Palestinian In U.S. Illegally Arrested On Gun Charge In Texas, Was Planning Terror Attack On Jews: Report – Daily Wire
A man from the Middle East was recently arrested in Texas for being illegally in possession of a firearm after federal law enforcement say that he began planning a terrorist attack against Jews.
Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, came to the U.S. on “a tourist visa and liv[ed] illegally in the U.S. for several months,” before he applied for asylum status, which was still pending when he was arrested in Houston late last month, according to a report from KHOU 11 News Houston.
CNN reported that when FBI Director Christopher Wray mentioned during Senate testimony this week that the FBI arrested a man in Houston “who’d been studying how to build bombs and posted online about his support for killing Jews,” he was specifically referring to Abuayyash.
Numerous publications originally identified Abuayyash as a Jordanian national, however, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a press release on Friday afternoon that he was a “Palestinian citizen.” The DOJ confirmed that he was “an alien illegally and unlawfully in the United States.” (Read more)

3: Feds Arrest African Illegal Alien Wanted For ‘Terroristic Activities’ After Border Patrol Let Him Into U.S. – Daily Wire
Federal law enforcement officials arrested an illegal alien terror suspect from Africa late last month after he was apprehended and released into the U.S. after being caught unlawfully entering the country.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in New York City arrested the 29-year-old illegal alien on October 10, just seven days after he “unlawfully” entered the U.S. near Lukeville, Arizona — more than 2,000 miles away.
“Officials processed him and served him a notice to appear as a noncitizen present without admission or parole,” ICE said in a statement. “The noncitizen was released on his own recognizance and provided with documentation to report to ERO New York City.”
ICE was not even sure where the suspect was from, referring to him in their statement as an “unlawfully present Mauritanian or Senegalese citizen.”
The suspect, who was not named, was wanted by Senegalese authorities for criminal conspiracy in relation to a terrorist organization; destruction, degradation and damages in relation to a terrorist organization; acts or preparatory acts aimed at compromising public safety or causing serious political troubles; direct provocation of an armed crowd; and holding arms without prior administrative authorization, according to the press release. 4: US commandos deployed to Israel to help 'identify hostages, including American hostages' – All Israel News
The United States Army Special Forces have been deployed to Israel to help locate hundreds of hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, according to the Pentagon.
Since the war between Hamas and Israel began four weeks ago, the U.S. has deployed two aircraft carriers to the region and sent military advisors to assist Israel in the war against Hamas.
However, according to Assistant U.S. Secretary of Defense Christopher Meir, military commandos have now also been deployed.
“We’re actively helping the Israelis to do a number of things,” Maier said just one day after Israel rescued a female IDF soldier, Ori Megidish, who was kidnapped to Gaza and held hostage by terrorists.
It wasn’t clear if U.S. Special Forces played any role in the soldier’s rescue.
In a special-op conference in Washington on Tuesday, Maier said the primary objective for U.S. commandos deployed to Israel is to “identify hostages, including American hostages.” (Read more)

Hunter Biden paid for a mystery international phone line linked to President Joe Biden from 2015-2018, years encompassing the Biden family’s dealings with CEFC China Energy Company, emails from the “Laptop from Hell” show.
House Oversight Committee chair James Comer alleges Joe Biden received two checks as “loan repayments” from his brother, totaling $240,000 dollars from 2017 to 2018. Comer, along with several lawmakers, has accused the Biden family of “laundering” money.
Hunter received nine emails from AT&T over a three-year span about a phone number linked to Joe Biden that ends in 3535, according to emails uncovered by not-for-profit Marco Polo.
The international phone calls were revealed in an AT&T email sent to Hunter’s business account on February 18, 2018:

6: Virginia Students Walk Out In Protest Over Trans Bathroom Policy- Daily Wire
A group of students in Virginia walked out of school on Wednesday in protest of the district’s transgender bathroom policy, demanding male and female only spaces.
Nearly 100 students at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville in Loudoun county made their protest to the transgender policy, called 8040, calling on the district to reverse its decision because it’s a “massive safety risk,” an “invasion of privacy,” and more, the Daily Mail reported. In June 2021, the school district made headlines after it publicly denied a girl was assaulted by a boy in the girl’s bathroom and the father of the girl who was assaulted became angry. In August 2021, the board then passed the trans policy that states that those trans-identifying students can use the locker rooms and bathrooms of their choice.
“It’s a massive safety risk, and they [LCPS] don’t do anything about it,” one female student told WJLA 7News. (Read more)

New York Rep. Ritchie Torres, a Democrat, said he mistakenly voted against a resolution condemning Hamas supporters on college campuses amid the war between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists.
House lawmakers approved a resolution Thursday condemning college students' support of Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups by a 396 to 23 vote.
"As a visible and vocal advocate against antisemitism on college campuses, especially in the wake of October 7th, I have submitted a correction for the record," Torres wrote Thursday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
"I have no use for pro-Hamas protestors, and I despise them with every fiber of my being," he continued.
The resolution calls on university administrators to condemn antisemitism on their campuses and to ensure that Jewish faculty and students can exercise free speech without intimidation following many cases since the Oct. 7 attacks of protests and public statements from pro-Palestinian student groups at universities across the U.S. endorsing Hamas' attacks against Israel, as well as instances of Jewish people on campuses facing threats and harassment. 8. Russia Reports Successful Launch Test of Nuclear Sub Intercontinental Ballistic Missile- Breitbart
The Russian military on Sunday reported a successful test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile designed to carry nuclear warheads from a new nuclear submarine.
The report comes as tensions are soaring between Russia and the West over the fighting in Ukraine. Adding to those tensions, President Vladimir Putin last week signed a bill revoking Russia´s ratification of a global nuclear test ban in a move that Moscow said was needed to establish parity with the United States.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Imperator Alexander III strategic missile cruiser fired the Bulava missile from an underwater position in Russia’s northern White Sea, and hit a target in the far-eastern region of Kamchatka. It wasn’t immediately clear from the statement when the test launch occurred.
The Imperator Alexander III is one of the new Borei-class nuclear submarines that carry 16 Bulava missiles each and are intended to serve as the core naval component of the nation´s nuclear forces in the coming decades. (Read more)

9. Report: 65-year-Old Jewish Man Killed at Pro-Palestinian Rally in L.A. - Breitbart
A Jewish man from Los Angeles was confirmed dead Monday after he was allegedly struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by pro-Palestinian protester at an anti-Israel rally.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the umbrella body of Jewish philanthropy in the area, confirmed the death in a statement Monday, saying it was the “fourth major antisemitic crime committed in Los Angeles this year alone.”
Local news channel KTLA reported:
A 65-year-old Jewish man has died after an altercation at a pro-Palestinian rally in Thousand Oaks, Jewish community leaders announced on Monday.
The incident unfolded around 3:15 p.m. near the busy intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Westlake Road where, according to fire officials, authorities first received a call of a “fight in progress” with an elderly man “down.”
Videos and images on social media purported to show the aftermath of the incident, and identified the victim as Paul Kessler, 65:
Local Fox affiliate KTTV-11 added: “Reports on social media said the man was holding an Israeli flag among the group of pro-Palestine demonstrators, when one demonstrator allegedly hit the man on the head with a megaphone. The hit allegedly caused the man to fall down and hit his head. Video on social media just showed the man on the ground holding his head after the fall.” (Read more)

The Example Of Sodom

In looking at the world’s condition, many wonder if it can get worse. The brutal attack by Islamic terrorists on Israel revealed much. It was a reminder that the enemies of Israel are hateful, cruel and barbaric. It was also an eye-opener on the hate leveled at Jews and Israel by the rest of the world. Not since Hitler’s acts in World War II has there been such open hatred toward a people. The very people who fly the banners “hate does not live here” are filled with hate. The type of hate being witnessed around the world is not just spoken, but is wrapped in the shroud of unspeakable immoral acts and begs the question of how long the Lord will wait to return and set things right. Let’s look at Sodom for an indicator.
Genesis 18 is the account of the Lord revealing his plans to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because “their sin is very grievous (verse 20).” Abraham then asked the Lord to spare the cities if there were 50, then 45, then 40, and on down to 10 righteous people found. The Lord graciously conceded that if there were 10 righteous people, He would spare the two cities. Of course, the two angels that went down to check only found Lot, his wife and daughters. The wicked people of the city tried to molest the two angels, so they struck them blind and told Abraham’s nephew Lot, who lived in Sodom, to take his family and flee to the hills, because God was going to destroy the cities. Lot, his wife and two of his daughters kept delaying their departure and finally the angels took them out of the city. Lot’s wife looked back and was turned to salt. Read More

Case details of Hezbollah operatives previously arrested in the United States show the reach of the terrorist organization and reveal threats lurking within our own borders during heightened security threats surrounding the Israel-Hamas war. FBI Director Wray told the Senate Homeland Security Committee: "This is not a time for panic, but it is a time for vigilance.”
In 2017, two Hezbollah-linked individuals were arrested simultaneously in different parts of the United States. Ali Kourani of Bronx, New York and Samer El Debek of Dearborn, Michigan were charged for terrorist activities on behalf of the Islamic Jihad Organization (IJO), a component of Hezbollah, after obtaining U.S. citizenship.
The criminal complaints filed by the Department of Justice detail wide-ranging activities by Kourani and El Debek, including surveillance of potential targets for attacks in the United States and Central America and training by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
These were only two of the 128 Hezbollah-linked individuals operating in the United States from 1997 to 2020 which researchers affiliated with The George Washington University, West Point, and the Department of Homeland Security identified in a 2022 report.
Israel and Hamas are now at war halfway across the globe, but the same terrorists that threaten Israel have been building networks in our hemisphere for years, and are likely to pose an increased threat to the United States, especially as tensions escalate between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon, according to the Council on Foreign Relations. Although he allowed that there is no justification for Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel, former U.S. President Barack Obama appeared to equate the massacre to what he said was Israel’s “unbearable” treatment of Palestinians.
In the interview on Pod Save America, a podcast run by four alumni of Obama’s administration, the former president said, “If there is any chance of us being able to act constructively to do something, it will require an admission of complexity and maintaining what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas.”
He went on to explain that “what Hamas did was horrific, and there is no justification for it. And what is also true is that the occupation, and what’s happening to Palestinians, is unbearable.”
Also true, he said, “Is that there is a history of the Jewish people that may be dismissed unless your grandparents, or your great-grandparents, or your uncle or your aunt tell you stories about the madness of antisemitism.”
At the same time, he continued, “There are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did.”
“And what is true,” Obama continued, “I mean, we can go on for a while.”
He said that one can pretend but can’t really speak the truth on social media. He added that “nobody’s hands are clean” and that “all of us are complicit to some degree.”

Dogs Are Traditionally Seen as Impure by Muslims ... Now Watch What Happens When the IDF Sets One Loose in a Hamas-Style Tunnel

A video showing a dog used by the Israeli Defense Force to root out terrorists in tunnels is going viral and is reminding people that many Muslims feel dogs are “impure” beasts.
The footage shows a dog wearing a military harness and sporting a video camera as it courses through a tunnel. The camera seems to be mounted just behind the dog’s head and gives the viewer and almost “dog’s eye” view of the animal’s work inside a tunnel.
Close to the end of the 23-second IDF clip, the dog encounters someone in the tunnel and goes to work subduing the man.
It appears that the man is wearing protective gear on his arms where the dog latches on, so it is likely that the video portrays a dog training exercise, and not a combat situation.
Still, it is clear that the IDF is either prepared to use the dogs that have been trained to empty out Hamas terror tunnels in Gaza or that they are already doing so.(Western Journal) Read more here.

- Lord God, as we watch this video, taken in Israel, we are reminded of the dog that helped the police capture the shooter recently in Pennsylvania. We thank You for the assistance that these trained animals can render now for the IDF, and we ask that their work shall be richly rewarded in identifying and capturing these Hamas terrorists who are now hiding in these tunnels under Gaza. Amen.

Just-installed House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) is making clear he is “a Bible-believing Christian.” During an interview Thursday evening with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Johnson said he has been asked by members of the media for his positions on myriad issues. In response, he has told them to turn to Scripture to truly understand his perspective on the matters of the day. “Someone asked me today in the media, they said, ‘It’s curious, people are curious: what does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?'” he explained. “I said, ‘Well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it — that’s my worldview.’ That’s what I believe, and so I make no apologies for it.”
During his wide-ranging conversation with Hannity, Johnson revealed the ways his faith informs his actions as a politician — including in how he carried himself during his meeting with President Joe Biden. “It was cordial and pleasant,” the speaker said of their time together. “I have no problem with President Biden as an individual. You respect the office; it’s a biblical admonition that you give honor where honor is due, and that’s the respect you have for the office.
