Sen. Hawley, Mayorkas in Heated Exchange Over DHS Staffer's 'Pro-Genocidal' Social Media Posts
At a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on “Threats to the Homeland” on Tuesday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) confronted the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Alejandro Mayorkas, over foreign students who study in the United States singing hateful, antisemitic songs on campus, and a DHS employee who posted "pro-genocidal" slogans and images on social media platforms. (The Epoch Times) View video here.
- Abba, the exchange between Sen Hawley and Sec Myorkas is, at it's heart, the same issue that Sec Myorkas seems to have with most Congressional Committees, that of seeking answers and accountability from Sec Myorkas and the Department of Homeland Security for which Sec Myorkas is responsible.  His response to Sen Hawley, speaking about his heritage, falls very flat when seen in the light of his attitude concerning his employee who stands with those that would do to this generation what the Nazis did to his mother's generation.

We ask You, Father God, to give him eyes to see himself as you see him.  Speak to his heart of his willingness to speak lies when responding to questions concerning our southern borders, saying they are secure when thousands of immigrants cross over illegally every day.  Let the fear of You bring him to his knees before you, seeking your forgiveness, asking to be restored as your son.  Open his heart to see your expectations of him as the Sec of the DHS, what your plans are for his life.  We ask this in the name El, Eloah, God, mighty, strong and walking in integrity.

- "In your majesty ride forth victoriously
        in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
     let your right hand achieve awesome deeds."

Trump Says He'll Seek Venue Change in
Federal Election Case
Judge Tanya Chutkan, presiding over the case, ultimately issued a different gag order that did not prohibit President Trump from making statements about Washington or the government in general.

"With this in mind, there is no way I can get a fair trial in a Biden election interference indictment," President Trump said in the campaign video. "This was a Biden indictment. Biden, my political opponent, indicted me because I challenged the election, and other ridiculous reasons."

President Trump's attorneys are currently seeking to dismiss the case, having filed four separate motions to dismiss the case on different grounds. They argue the prosecution is "vindictive," as President Joe Biden had made remarks about keeping President Trump from taking office again, and special counsel Jack Smith was appointed three days after President Trump declared his intent to run for president in 2024.

"Obviously, at the appropriate time, if this ridiculous case should be allowed to proceed forward, which is, according to legal scholars quite doubtful, I will be making a demand for a venue change," he said. "It's a very unfair witch hunt, but we are going to win and we are going to make America great again." (The Epoch Times) Read more here.
- Abba, we thank you for President Trump's undauntable spirit!  We ask for your presence to surround him at all times, in all places, in every circumstance.  We ask Holy Spirit to encourage him, to speak of your love for him, to bring what only you can bring, the peace that passes understanding,

We ask you to instruct your intercessors to dispatch the angel armies to every situation, to every location to be President Trump's protection.  We decree and declare that you will complete the good work that you started in and through Donald John Trump when you set him in place as President of our country.  We also decree that every battle he faces belongs to you, Jehovah Sabaoth, Host of Heaven's Armies.   AMEN and AMEN

- "The Lord has chosen Cyrus as his ally. He will use him to put an end to the empire of Babylon, and to destroy the Babylonian armies. "I have said it: I am calling Cyrus! I will send him on this errand and will help him succeed."  (Isaiah 48:14b-15)

Senate confirms Jack Lew as US ambassador
to Israel
His nomination was accelerated in the aftermath of Hamas's Oct. 7 invasion of southern Israel.
The U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Jacob (“Jack”) Lew on Tuesday to serve as the next American ambassador to Israel.
The final vote tally was 53-43, with several Republicans, including Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), voting with Democrats to approve U.S. President Joe Biden’s nominee.

Lew’s nomination was accelerated in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas terrorists of southern Israel, which killed more than 1,400 people and wounded thousands more, with as many as 250 taken captive into the Gaza Strip.

Washington insiders told JNS over the summer that Lew, who was seen as a frontrunner to replace Thomas Nides in the position, knows his way around the District and around Israel. Lew, a 67-year-old Orthodox Jew, was White House chief of staff under former President Barack Obama, and he directed the Office of Management and Budget under Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

Lew has come under fire for defending the Iran nuclear deal, which he argued would make Israel safer, and for supporting Obama’s decision in 2016 not to veto United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which declared Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria illegal.

U.S. chargé d’affaires Stephanie Hallett, a career diplomat who previously served as deputy chief of mission in Muscat, Oman, and Nicosia, Cyprus, has headed the embassy in Jerusalem since July. (JNS.org) Read more here.
- Abba, Mr. Lew's position as US ambassador to Israel is very important as the war with Hamas continues.  We ask you to speak to Mr. Lew's mind and heart, give him your wisdom and understanding of all that is happening in the Land.  We ask for your supernatural counsel, show him what to do and not do, and when to do something and when not to do something.  We ask for an increased knowledge of you that will create in him a holy fear of you, a fear that will guide and direct every word he speaks. We pray for Mr. Lew to come to know you as his Messiah, we ask that all he says and does will give glory to you, Jesus.  We ask this in the name El Elyon, the Most High God.

- "And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him --
         the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding,
     the Spirit of counsel and might,
         the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord."

A Hamas official has promised that the Palestinian terrorist group will repeat its Oct. 7 massacre of Israelis “again and again” to bring about the Jewish state’s “annihilation.”

Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas’ political bureau and a spokesman for the Iran-backed terror organization, told Lebanon’s LBC TV in an Arabic language interview on Oct. 24 that Israel “must be finished.”

4. Foreign Ministry: We regret Jordan's decision to recall its ambassador - Israel National News

The Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday it regrets Jordan’s decisionto recall its ambassador to Israel back to Amman.

“Israel regrets the Jordanian government's decision to recall its ambassador for consultations,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat.

“The State of Israel is focused on the war imposed on it by the murderous terrorist attack by Hamas, a terrorist organization that massacred 1400 Israelis and kidnapped 240 women, children, babies and the elderly. Israel is targeting the terrorists of Hamas and the terrorist infrastructure of this organization, which uses the civilians of the Gaza Strip as human shields,” he added. (Read more

5. Bolivia cuts diplomatic ties with Israel over attacks in Gaza - Washington Post
Bolivia condemns the “aggressive and disproportionate Israeli military offensive at Gaza, as well as the threat to international peace and security,” Bolivian Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani said Tuesday at a news conference announcing the move. María Nela Prada, Bolivia’s minister of the presidency, described Israel’s actions as “crimes against humanity” and called for a cease-fire.

Soon after, Chile and Colombia announced that they would recall their ambassadors, pointing to what they described as Israeli violations of humanitarian law. Chile’s Foreign Ministry in a statement likened Israel’s military operations to “collective punishment of the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza” and said it does not respect “fundamental norms of International Law.”

Colombia, in its statement, expressed its “strongest rejection” of Israel’s actions in Gaza and called the situation “intolerable.” Colombia’s relationship with Israel has soured in recent weeks after its president compared Israel’s actions in Gaza to those of Nazis and refused to condemn Hamas’s attack, prompting Israel to suspend security exports there. 1. Abortion rights supporters far outraise opponents and rake in out-of-state money in Ohio election - Associated Press

Supporters of a ballot measure that would enshrine abortion rights in the Ohio Constitution far outraised their anti-abortion opponents in the months leading up to the November election, bringing in nearly $29 million from donors since Sept. 8, the campaign’s latest filings show.

The effort against Issue 1, which would amend the constitution to protect abortion rights, raised just under $10 million in the same period, according to Thursday’s filings.

The largest donations backing the amendment since Sept. 8 came from out-of-state groups, including three gifts totaling $5.3 million from the progressive Sixteen Thirty Fund, based in Washington, D.C. The Sixteen Thirty Fund counts among its funders Hansjörg Wyss, a Swiss billionaire who has given the group more than $200 million since 2016. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that Christians in the states with an election next week would take the opportunity You have given them to do good. We pray Lord, that the church would be bold and rise up and be the glorious church standing for truth and light. Let us not grow weary in doing good, but keep fighting the good fight of faith! In Jesus' name, amen.

- "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)

2. Vermont’s Largest School District Unanimously Codifies Trans Rights for Students - Truth Out

The new policies passed unanimously and endeavor to go above and beyond even the state level protections that Vermont offers trans students in the state. Although the policies were previously informally practiced, codifying them explicitly allows trans students to know that their school district has their back. It also makes it harder for individual schools in the district to bow to pressure from right-wing groups to discriminate against trans students in the district.

The three page policy outlines several explicit protections for transgender students:

  • A right to privacy that allows trans students to detail exactly how much information they want shared with others.
  • A right to have their name and pronouns used by school staff without requiring a court order or legal name change.
  • A right for students input on parental notification and no mandatory outing of students to unaccepting parents. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray for the protection of all the students in this school district who will be negatively impacted by this policy. We pray Father that Your definition of gender would be the only definition that prevails in our nation today and in our schools. We pray for all the families and parents affected, God, that you would give them wisdom and strength. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “The sum of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.” (Psalm 119:160)

3. Joe Biden received $40K in 'laundered China money' from brother in 2017, Comer says - Fox News

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said President Biden, in 2017, received $40,000 in "laundered China money" from the bank account of his brother and his sister-in-law in the form of a personal check, while claiming the president has "exposed himself to future blackmail" from Beijing.

Comer, R-Ky., detailed his findings Wednesday morning in a video posted to X. The findings come after Comer subpoenaed personal and business bank records belonging to both James Biden and Hunter Biden as part of his investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings and whether the president was involved.

"Remember when Joe Biden told the American people that his son didn’t make money in China? Well, not only did he lie about his son Hunter making money in China, but it also turns out that $40,000 in laundered China money landed in Joe Biden’s bank account in the form of a personal check," Comer said. "And the Oversight Committee has it."
Comer said Biden "benefited from his family’s shady deal" with Chinese Communist Party-linked CEFC. (Read more)

- Lord God, we thank you so much for continuing to expose corruption within our government. We declare that a proper investigation would be pursued to get to the bottom of all this wickedness in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you, that you are working all of this out for our good, and we choose to trust you God, and put away all fear and anxiety regarding this situation, in Jesus' name, amen.

‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet.”’ (Mark 12:36)

4. Trump goes after judge ahead of family's testimony in fraud case: 'Leave my children alone' - Washington Examiner

Former President Donald Trump went after Judge Arthur Engoron ahead of three of his adult children testifying in his fraud case in New York.

Donald Trump Jr. is expected to testify in the trial on Wednesday, while Eric Trump is set to testify the next day. The former president, in a post on Truth Social early Wednesday morning, called the trial "rigged" while also saying the judge should leave his children alone and that he is "a disgrace to the legal profession."

Donald Trump himself is expected to testify next week in the trial, and his daughter Ivanka is also expected to testify in the trial next week. Ivanka Trump was ordered to testify by Engoron last week, saying he wanted "to see her in person."

- Lord God, we are so deeply disturbed that judges with such biased opinions of certain individuals get to judge them in these cases. We come against this right now in the spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus. We know we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood and this is a spiritual battle. So we apply the blood of Jesus over this case and we declare that truth and justice will be served, and that no improper judgment will be had. In Jesus' name, amen.

6. Pentagon Sends 300 More Troops to the Middle East as Attacks on U.S. Bases Continue - Brietbart

The Pentagon on Tuesday announced it was deploying an additional 300 troops to the Middle East region, amid an increasing number of attacks against U.S. bases and the beginning of a new war between Israel and Hamas.

“I can announce the decision to deploy an additional 300 troops to the U.S. Central Command region from home stations in the continental United States,” Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said at a briefing.

Ryder said the troops will not be deployed to Israel and are intended to support “regional deterrence efforts” and “further bolster U.S. force protection capabilities.”

7.  China’s top spy agency warns of ‘gene weapons’ able to target specific ethnicity or race - South China Morning Post

Some countries have “armed” themselves with deadly weapons targeting human genes, China’s top spy agency alleged on Monday – the first time a Chinese state body has mentioned such a threat publicly.

The ministry did not name those countries or offer evidence to support the claim. The existence of such weapons has long been dismissed by the mainstream scientific community as a conspiracy theory.

what the Chinese ministry is alleging countries have made is not a biological agent engineered for the entire world but rather the creation of a targeted threat, or genetic weapons. Genetic weapons, also known as ethnic bio-weapons, are genetically engineered biological weapons that are capable of targeting members of a specific race or ethnicity. (Read more)

- In the name of Jesus, we bind all evil agendas and efforts from the enemy to destroy innocent human lives with these bio weapons. We plead the blood of Jesus over all of us and our families and over our DNA that no harm or evil can come against us. We pray, Lord, that your resurrection power that dwells on the inside of us by your Holy Spirit would quicken our mortal bodies, expelling all sickness and disease from our bodies, in Jesus' name, amen.

8. Yemen's Houthis enter Mideast fray, hardening spillover fears - Reuters

Yemen's Houthis have waded into the Israel-Hamas war raging more than 1,000 miles from their seat of power in Sanaa, declaring on Tuesday they had fired drones and missiles at Israel in attacks that highlight the regional risks of the conflict.

Part of an "Axis of Resistance" backed by Iran, the Houthis have rallied behind the Palestinians since Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, opening a new front for a movement that has waged war for eight years with a Saudi-led coalition in the Gulf.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement the group had launched a "large number" of ballistic missiles and drones towards Israel, and there would be more such attacks to come "to help the Palestinians to victory". (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: Where In The World?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 1, 2023

Where in the world would a nation and a people be constantly persecuted and pursued to extinction in such brutal fashion as to have babies ripped from the womb of dying mothers, children mutilated and killed as the last sight of their dying parents, beheaded, burned alive, raped, dismembered alive before blood thirsty, laughing enemies? Yes, where in the world? And where in the world would nations view this evil brutality and think it justified? Where in the world would such behavior be celebrated and memorialized? Where in the world would such barbarians be financially supported and rewarded by international bodies in the name of humanitarianism? Where in the world?

How is it that leaders of racial equality rally their constituents to march in favor of such brutality? How is it that those who dress up like clowns, wanting to be identified with sexual depravity, to be allowed the right to sexually molest, confuse and groom innocent children into their behavior gather together to protest with the very people who have openly said they have no right to practice their sexual immorality? How is it that those who post signs in their yards that say “Hate doesn’t live here” support such hate against a nation and a people? How is it that those deploring fascism and racism align with those who not only practice fascism and racism, but do so with such unrepentant vigor and enthusiasm?

Blinken to visit Israel on Friday, says ‘revitalized’ PA should govern Gaza after war

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Tuesday that a “revitalized” Palestinian Authority should retake control of Gaza if Israel succeeds in its goal of toppling Hamas, but that regional partners and international agencies could play an interim role.

The comments by Blinken during testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee marked the first time the Biden administration has publicly declared its desire for the PA to return to the Gaza Strip, after privately raising the idea with regional partners since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.

Hours after the hearing — which included repeated interruptions by several dozen far-left protesters calling for a ceasefire — an Israeli official confirmed to The Times of Israel that Blinken will arrive in Tel Aviv on Friday for his second visit since the Hamas terror group launched its deadly shock assault over three weeks ago. November to bring famous meteor shower,
stunning views of Jupiter
A trio of astronomical events will grace the night sky throughout the new month, including one of the most well-known meteor showers in recent history and the final full moon of fall.

Stargazers may have to bundle up to enjoy the sights of the cosmos as colder air begins to settle across North America in November. However, to balance out the colder conditions, there are longer nights, providing more time for folks to look for stars, planets and meteors after nightfall.

Here are the top three astronomy events to mark on your November calendar:

Nov. 3: Jupiter Opposition
November will be the best month of the year to spot Jupiter in the night sky as the planet reaches opposition, the point when it appears opposite of the sun from the perspective of the Earth. This is also around the same time when it is closest to the Earth, making it shine brighter than many stars and other planets in the sky.

The vibrant planet will first appear in the east after sunset and will glide across the southern sky before setting in the west around daybreak. No telescope is needed to see Jupiter as it will outshine nearly every other celestial object in the night sky, but having a telescope or a pair of binoculars will reveal the colorful bands of clouds on the planet as well as its largest moons. Israel's Ben Gurion Hospital Serving 'Muslim, Jew or Christian' in Middle of War
Israel ramped up its anti-terror campaign in Gaza over the weekend following October's horrific terrorist attack, and while protests supporting Hamas are occurring worldwide – one bright spot has been the hospital at Ben Gurion University. On October 27th, Israel's military invaded Gaza, pushing miles into the territory to root out Hamas. More than 500 volunteers showed up here after the Oct. 7 attacks to help the University hospital treat the wounded, some of whom were captured Hamas fighters. But that's not the first time they've treated Gazans here. "Under normal conditions, there's a daily flow of people needing advanced medical aid out of Gaza into Israel," Chamovitz explained. He says an aid organization run by Jewish people who lived in the kibbutzim that were attacked by Hamas near the Gaza border used to help bring residents from Gaza into Israel for treatments.

He says many of those Israelis who were helping Palestinians are now dead or being held hostage. "The irony is, many of the hostages who were kidnapped in Gaza were the exact same people who on a daily basis were bringing children with cancer, needing eye surgery, to hospitals throughout Israel," Chamovitz said. The basement of the hospital's administration building is now being used as an elementary school and kindergarten for 75 kids from the surrounding area who have been forcibly displaced by this war. "The things that they witnessed, we haven't seen since the Holocaust," Chamovitz said. Through it all, the hospital has continued its life-saving work, providing care for all in need – a ray of light despite the protests and darkness. Chamovitz added, "We're here to make the world a better place and our hospitals are some of the best in Israel. And if someone needs life-saving surgery, it doesn't matter if they're Muslim, Jew or Christian, they should get the services that they need." (CBN) Read More

How Can I Keep From Singing?

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words: Robert Lowry
Music: Ira Sankey

Scripture: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Psalm 146:2

Lyrics:
My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation
I hear the sweet though far off hymn
That hails a new creation:
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear the music ringing;
It finds an echo in my soul—
How can I keep from singing?

What though my joys and comforts die?
The Lord my Savior liveth;
What though the darkness gather round!
Songs in the night He giveth:
No storm can shake my inmost calm
While to that refuge clinging;
Since Christ is Lord of Heav’n and earth,
How can I keep from singing?

I lift mine eyes; the cloud grows thin;
I see the blue above it;
And day by day this pathway smoothes
Since first I learned to love it:
The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,
A fountain ever springing:
All things are mine since I am His—
How can I keep from singing?
