Hundreds Show Up To Protest Maine Governor Janet Mills Over Trans Sports Policy
About 500 Maine residents on Saturday gathered in front of the State House to protest Democrat Governor Janet Mills’ refusal to keep men out of female sports and spaces. Earlier this month, Mills clashed with President Donald Trump at the White House, telling POTUS she will not enforce his orders on gender and would see him “in court” over the issue. The heated exchange between the pair was sparked by the news of a transgender-identifying high school boy taking first place in girls’ pole vaulting at Maine’s Class B state championship — a win that helped the high school take first place overall.

The protest against Mills garnered about 500 people, according to State Rep. Katrina Smith, and seems to have sparked organically, with the help of a resident-created “March Against Mills” Facebook event and a Change.org petition. The protest comes in stark contrast with an event held last week in support of Mills, which reportedly brought out “dozens” of supporters. “Huge turnout in Augusta to march for women’s equality in sports,” The Maine Wire reported Saturday, captioning footage from the event. “A large protest organized by grassroots activists has developed at the State House in Maine in opposition to Maine Gov. Janet Mills continuing to force girls to play sports against male athletes,” investigative reporter Steve Robinson posted to X, sharing photos of the protest. A “March Against Mills” Facebook event organizing the protest says that Mills’ transgender policies do not align with her residents’ values and underscores the need to “hold our elected officials accountable.” (Dailywire) Read More and Watch Video
- Father, we celebrate citizens in Maine keeping leadership accountable for decisions made within their state. We pray for Governor Janet Mills' defiance against President Trump and his clear mandates to protect women in sports. May the protesting of her voters, standing against continual attacks on women athletes, cause her to have a change of heart and honor the will of her constituents. We pray that she would have powerful encounters with Jesus Christ and desire to lead her state according to a 'biblical world-view'. In the mighty Name of Yeshua-Amen.

European leaders on edge as prospect looms of Trump pulling 20K troops from continent

European leaders are grappling with how to handle icier relations with the U.S. since President Donald Trump regained control of the White House this year.

"The Europeans have a serious problem of readiness … that they’re trying to fix, but it takes time," Camille Grand, a former NATO official who is now with the European Council on Foreign Relations, said in a Washington Post report Sunday. "If Trump decides ‘I’m going to pull out U.S. troops from Germany because I’m upset with the trade imbalance,’ that’s much more complicated to manage than to say we have a plan to do this within X years."

The comments come as European leaders have become increasingly anxious about the future of the security of the continent in the second era of Trump, with the Washington Post reporting that leaders are wary that the American president is too friendly with Moscow and that they widely expect him to pull back roughly 20,000 U.S. troops that were deployed to the continent by former President Joe Biden in the aftermath of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"I would not be surprised if at some point [those troops] go back to their home base in America," a NATO diplomat told the outlet while noting that those troops were sent to Europe at the height of an emergency and that their exit "would be, so to speak, a return to normalcy." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God we continue to pray for your guidance and wisdom for all of our leaders as they handle foreign relations, foreign policy, and trying to end this war between Russia and Ukraine. We cannot do this without you, Lord;  we need your help. In Jesus' name, amen

For deliverance by man is in vain.” (Psalm 108:12)

UK prime minister lays out Ukraine peace deal framework as Zelenskyy responds to resignation calls
Zelenskyy says he is still willing to sign a rare earth minerals deal with Trump

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer put forward a framework for a peace plan between Ukraine and Russia on Sunday, though he acknowledged it relies heavily on assumed U.S. support.

Starmer revealed the plan along with French President Emmanuel Macron and other European leaders during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday. In a concession to President Donald Trump's administration, Starmer emphasized that European countries would need to "step up their own share of the burden" toward security guarantees for Ukraine in the event of a peace deal.

Starmer said the U.K. is prepared to deploy boots on the ground in Ukraine as well as air force assets to ensure Russia does not infringe on a peace agreement. He nevertheless stated that the plan would rely heavily on U.S. backing as well.

Macron told French media that European leaders were discussing a plan that would freeze strikes from the air, sea and on energy infrastructure for 30 days in Ukraine. He said the window could be used to negotiate a wider peace deal.

- Lord God we continue to pray for Trump, the administration, and our politicians for an increase of wisdom and discernment to find Your will in this situation. We come against greed, bribery and deceit, that would try to control these negotiations -- that they will not stand in Jesus' name. We pray, Lord, that you would comfort all the Ukrainian people who have suffered so much loss. Touch them now Father God, in Jesus' name, Amen.

- “Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth. Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you.” (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭)

Wildfires scorch the Carolinas, SC Governor McMaster declares state of emergency

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster on Sunday declared a state of emergency as firefighters battle hundreds of wildfires across the Carolinas.

"I have declared a State of Emergency to further support wildfire response efforts across the state and ensure our first responders continue to have the resources they need," McMaster wrote in a post on X. "A statewide outdoor burning ban remains in effect—violators will be prosecuted. Please stay informed."

Nearly 5,000 acres have burned in the Palmetto State, with 170 fires reported, according to the South Carolina Forestry Commission (SCFC).

Ignitions were caused by very low relative humidity, coupled with drying fuels resulting from the lack of significant rain. High winds led the fires to grow and spread rapidly.

The largest of the fires is in Carolina Forest, a community 10 miles west of Myrtle Beach in Horry County.

As of Sunday afternoon, the wildfire incinerated 1,200 acres and was 0% contained, according to the SCFC. (Fox News) Read more here.

- In the name of Jesus, we speak to these fires that they would come to an end right now, in Jesus' name. We come against any man-made means that have caused these fires. We ask that any and all evil agendas connected to these fires would be revealed, in the name of Jesus. We pray for all emergency personnel that they’re able to put out these fires quickly. We ask that You would
grace all of our firefighters with supernatural strength -- enough to meet this challenge. And finally, O Lord, we pray for everybody who has lost their property. We ask, O Lord, that all would be restored to them and that you would comfort them, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “Rise up, be our help,
And redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness.”

SCOOP: Speaker Johnson reveals guest list for Trump's big speech Tuesday
Johnson spotlights illegal immigration, energy in his guest list for Trump address to Congress

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., has made border security a cornerstone issue of his tenure in the House of Representatives, a theme he's continuing through President Donald Trump's address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night.

Fox News Digital has learned that Johnson's partial list of guests to the prime-time speech will include Tom Homan, the former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director, who Trump has tapped to serve as his border czar.

Johnson also invited Olivia Hayes, a young widow from his district who lives in Kinder, Louisiana. Her husband, Wesley Hayes, was killed by an illegal immigrant in a drunken-driving incident, the speaker's office said.

On another Republican priority front, Commonwealth LNG Chair Ben Dell will also be one of Johnson's guests on Tuesday night. The Commonwealth LNG project was the first major beneficiary of the Trump administration's reversal of former President Joe Biden's pause on new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export permits. Energy has been a top issue for Republicans, particularly in resource-rich areas like Louisiana. Energy Secretary Chris Wright last month announced the permit for the project, which is also in Johnson's home state of Louisiana.

In a nod to U.S. ties to Israel, Johnson is also bringing Noa Argamani, who was taken hostage by Hamas after the terror group's brutal Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

Johnson is expected to sit on the dais behind Trump on Tuesday night, the speaker of the House's traditional position, beside the vice president during the president's big annual speech.

Because Trump has not been president for the entire past year, the speech is not called a "State of the Union" but rather a presidential address. (Fox News) Read more.

- Lord God, we thank You that President Trump will have this opportunity to speak to
the American people so early in his second administration. We thank You that he is
a gifted speaker, clearly defining his agenda to make America great again.

When the Democratic spokesperson will then present his or her rebuttal following
President Trump, we ask that the American people not be deceived by false statements, nor by any twisted logic. Let all be done decently and in order tonight
at 9:00 p.m. in the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives. In Your Name, Abba, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- (for President Trump) " Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. " (Psalm 81:10)

2. Defense Minister: If Hamas doesn't release hostages, the gates of hell will open - Israel National News

Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a threatening message to Hamas this evening (Monday) at an event marking the 33rd anniversary of the passing of Menachem Begin.

"In recent days, we have brought for burial Israel, with a painful heart, eight additional martyrs who were murdered by the terrorists in Gaza," Katz said.

He also said that "the ceasefire agreement with the Hamas murderers, and the heavy prices that Israel has paid - and is prepared to pay in the future - were intended to bring about the rapid release of all living Israeli hostages and to bring for burial in Israel all the hostages who are no longer among the living. This is our moral duty and this is our supreme goal. These days we are working to bring about the realization of this goal." (Read more)

3. Israeli defense minister warns ‘gates of hell’ will open for Hamas if remaining hostages not freed - World Israel News

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stark warning to Hamas, stating that they would face “the gates of hell” if they refuse to release the remaining hostages.

At an event commemorating the 33rd anniversary of prime minister Menachem Begin’s passing, Katz said, “In recent days, with a heavy heart, we have recovered the remains of eight additional captives who were murdered by Hamas in Gaza.”

Katz reaffirmed the government’s commitment to bringing home all remaining hostages, both living and deceased.

“The ceasefire agreement with Hamas and the heavy toll Israel has endured — and is willing to continue paying — was aimed at securing the swift release of all living Israeli hostages and returning the remains of those who have passed. This is our moral obligation and ultimate objective. In these critical days, we are working tirelessly to achieve this goal.” (Read more)

4. Man stabbed to death in terror attack at Haifa bus terminal - Times of Israel

An Israeli man was killed and at least four others were wounded in a terrorist attack at a major Haifa transit hub Monday, authorities said.

The assailant, an Israeli Druze citizen, was shot and killed. His family said he suffered from mental illness.

The knife attack at the northern city’s Lev Hamifratz bus station was the latest in a string of terror attacks targeting public transportation in Israel, after a ramming attack at a bus stop on Thursday and a series of botched bus bombings near Tel Aviv a week earlier.

5. IAEA Warns Iran Sharply Increased its Stockpile of 60% Enriched Uranium - Jewish Press

Iran has again increased its stockpile of 60-percent enriched uranium, according to the head of the United Nation’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.

The IAEA chief told the nuclear watchdog’s Board of Governors on Monday at its meeting in Vienna that Iran’s sharp increase of highly enriched uranium is cause for serious concern.

As of February 8, “Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched up to 60 percent U 235 has increased to 275 kg, up from 182 kg in the past quarter,” Grossi said.

“Iran is the only non-nuclear weapon state enriching to this level, causing me serious concern,” Grossi said in a statement. (Read more)

1. 'It’s amazing what comes out through emotion': US, world leaders react to tense Trump-Zelensky meeting - The Christian Post

A highly anticipated visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the White House took a dramatic turn on Friday, as a planned signing of a minerals deal disintegrated into a fiery confrontation with President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.

The day began with expectations of a diplomatic breakthrough, but the mood soured during a contentious Oval Office meeting held in full view of the press. Sources describe the exchange as heated, with the leaders clashing over unspecified issues, overshadowing the intended focus on economic cooperation.

The fallout was swift: a scheduled lunch between the two leaders was scrapped, and a joint press conference was abruptly canceled, leaving reporters and aides scrambling.

Reaction from Washington to Europe poured in immediately following the meeting.

Here are five responses to the Trump-Zelensky meeting. (Read more)

3. US judge further blocks Trump's order curbing youth gender-affirming care - Reuters

A federal judge late Friday extended an order blocking U.S. President Donald Trump's administration from withholding federal funding from medical providers in four Democratic-led states that provide gender-affirming care to transgender youth under 19.

U.S. District Court Judge Lauren King in Seattle issued a preliminary injunction preventing the administration enforcing two of the Republican president's executive orders in the states of Colorado, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington, after concluding they were unconstitutional.

King, an appointee of Trump's Democratic predecessor Joe Biden, agreed with those states' attorneys general that the two executive orders intruded on Congress' power to appropriate federal funding by withholding research and education grants from medical institutions that provide such care.

She said Trump's orders also unconstitutionally treated people differently based on their sex or transgender status in violation of the equal protection guarantee of the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment. (Read more)

4. Trump signals Canada, China and Mexico tariffs could take effect next week, with 'reciprocal' duties planned for April - NBC News

President Donald Trump said Thursday that 25% tariffs on goods imported from Canada and Mexico would go into effect Tuesday, alongside yet another 10% layer of duties on China following one that went into effect this month.

In a post on his Truth Social app, Trump said the tariffs were needed to combat the continued flow of illicit drugs into the United States.

"We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the USA," he wrote, adding that the tariffs would be imposed "until it stops, or is seriously limited." (Read more)

5. JD Vance: US 'foreign misadventures' led to 'eradication' of historic Christian communities - The Christian Post

Vice President J.D. Vance told a gathering of Catholics Friday that "foreign misadventures" have led to "the eradication of historical Christian communities" worldwide.

Vance, a practicing Catholic, addressed a crowd of more than 1,000 people gathered at the 20th annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. While Vance attended the annual event last year in his capacity as a U.S. senator, this marked his first time partaking in the event as vice president. He took office with President Donald Trump last month.

"We have turned a new page in Washington, D.C. and we are going to take advantage of the opportunity that God has given us," he said. "President Trump, though not a Catholic himself, has been an incredibly good president for Catholics in the United States of America."

He said that often "the biggest impediments to religious liberty have not come through malice from the United States government but have actually come through carelessness."

"In the United States of America sometimes, it is our foreign misadventures that lead to the eradication of historical Christian communities all over the world," he lamented.

He described such "foreign misadventures" as what he is "most ashamed about."

"When President Trump talks about the need to bring peace, whether it's in Russia and Ukraine, whether it's in the Middle East, we, of course, have to recognize that as a policy-oriented towards saving lives and carrying out one of Christ's most important commandments." (Read more)

- Lord. We pray restoration to foreign Christian communities worldwide!

6. Hamas stoking flames in Jerusalem as Ramadan gets underway - JNS.org

With Ramadan set to begin at sundown on Friday, Hamas is aiming to spark a wave of terrorist attacks in Jerusalem, including on the Temple Mount.

On Thursday, Harun Nasser al-Din, the head of Hamas’s Jerusalem Office, who is currently abroad, declared that there must be “full confrontation against the occupation’s incursions, an uprising against its projects, and no surrender to attempts at Judaization and expulsion.”

Another senior Hamas official urged an escalation of “resistance in all its forms in Jerusalem,” a clear incitement to terrorist attacks.

Al-Din also referenced the demolition of illegally built structures in Jerusalem, accusing Israel of implementing “malicious plans for expulsion and Judaization projects.” He further emphasized that “all plans and schemes will be shattered by the escalation of the resistance in all its forms.” (Read more)

- Lord, we pray protection upon Jerusalem As these threats are being voiced.

The Daily Jot

Are You a Living Sanctuary?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 3, 2025

There is a saying that the body is our temple. This means different things to different people. New Testament writings tell us that our body is a holy temple. 1 Corinthians 6:19 asks, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God?” Romans 12:1, “Therefore I exhort you, brothers, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy to God, well-pleasing, which is your reasonable service.” Ephesians tells us that we are built up into a temple of the Lord with Jesus as our cornerstone. But did you know that the temple of your body is fulfilling God’s holy plan dating back to the building of the first Tabernacle by the Israelites?

The construction of the Tabernacle is the subject of Exodus 25:1-27:19. The LORD gives the details to Moses, and said in 25:8, “They are to make me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them.” The Hebrew word for ‘live among’ them is betokim, which can be translated “in them.” The Tabernacle was meant to be the spiritual center of the nation of Israel. It was built from the voluntary contributions of the Israelite people as their hearts moved them. After all, God does not live in a building of wood and stone, but in the human hearts of those who seek Him. The Tabernacle was considered a symbolic representation of the universe, and was a kind of repair (tikkun) of something that had been lost or broken before–That being the harmony between God and men after the sin of Adam and Eve. Leading evangelicals in push to have President Trump recognize Israeli sovereignty over ‘biblical heartland’
'From beginning to end, the Bible is a Zionist document mandating that all believers stand with, and bless, Israel and her people,' says Pastor John Hagee

TEL AVIV, Israel - Last week, an influential group of American Christians publicly reaffirmed the Jewish people’s right to Judea and Samaria as the biblical heartland of Israel. The Judea and Samaria area is more commonly known as the West Bank.

The declaration was unveiled at the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Dallas by American Christian Leaders for Israel and was expected to be signed by 3,000 religious leaders before being delivered to President Donald Trump

The push to apply Israeli sovereignty to the area comes after Trump said last month that his administration would make an announcement on the matter in the coming weeks when asked about annexation.

The Oslo Accords, forged under the Clinton administration, divided the West Bank into three regions: Area A, under full Palestinian jurisdiction; Area B, under Palestinian civil administration and Israeli security control; and Area C, under full Israeli authority.

"The evangelicals gave Trump the presidency. He will support our position on the Bible and that’s why he chose Mike Huckabee [as ambassador to Jerusalem], who supports Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria," Dr. Mike Evans, founder of Friends of Zion, which boasts just under 30 million members, told Fox News Digital.

The declaration reaffirms "the Jewish people’s inalienable right to the Biblical Heartland of Israel and reject all efforts—both from the United States and the international community—to pressure the Jewish people to relinquish their ancestral homeland in Judea and Samaria."

Evans said evangelicals support Israel "because they believe in moral clarity, good versus evil, they are friends of Zion. They see Jews being killed because they’re Jews, not because of land."

Pastor John Hagee, the influential founder and chairman of Christians United for Israel, told Fox News Digital that Evangelicals "know the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will always keep His word to the Children of Israel. From beginning to end, the Bible is a Zionist document mandating that all believers stand with, and bless, Israel and her people.

"For almost half a century, I have been preaching the message that Israel does not occupy the land, Israel owns the land, the title deed of which is recorded in the pages of the Bible. The land was endowed by God to the Jewish people for all time," added Hagee. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God we thank you for all of the leading evangelicals' support for your nation Israel. We pray that wisdom would guide President Trump as he decides what to do about this declaration. We pray for protection and peace for Israel, and for all the peoples of every nation to put their faith in You as Lord and Savior.

- “Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.”  (Psalm 14:7)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

'We're on the moon!' Private Blue Ghost moon lander aces historic lunar landing for NASA

Blue Ghost aced its touchdown try early this morning (March 2), becoming just the second private spacecraft ever to soft-land on the moon. The lander hauled 10 science experiments to the lunar surface for NASA, which was understandably happy with today's result. The first photos from the probe showed Earth shining overhead.

"We're on the moon!" Nicky Fox, associate administrator for NASA's Science Mission Directorate, said during the landing webcast. "I'm sorry — I'm just so excited right now."

The touchdown action began today around 2:30 a.m. EST (0730 GMT), when Blue Ghost fired its engines in a "descent orbit insertion burn." The maneuver put the car-sized lander, which had been circling the moon from about 62 miles (100 kilometers) up, on course for the lunar surface.

The lander coasted for about 50 minutes, then began firing its thrusters again to reduce its orbital velocity and position itself above its targeted landing site — an area within Mare Crisium ("Sea of Crises"), a volcanic basin on the moon's near side. Read More
