The Bridge: The Official Story

A cargo ship on its way out of Baltimore Harbor lost power, lost backup power, and then crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge, causing its collapse and the loss of life. Baltimore police and rescue officials immediately assured us there was no evidence of terrorism or foul play. Accidents do happen.
But. . .
We have been informed in recent months by multiple federal agencies that communist Chinese operatives are attempting to hack into America’s critical infrastructure, including the electrical grid, water plants, and ports. We are now replacing many port cranes made in communist China because we concluded they had “spyware” devices monitoring our shipping.
Yesterday, the Justice Department announced the indictment of seven communist Chinese hackers connected to Beijing’s Ministry of State Security. So, the day after that announcement, we get this catastrophe. That could be just another coincidence. If we had real journalists, maybe they would be connecting the dots.
Baltimore is our ninth-largest port overall, but it is first for cars and trucks. The bridge is named after the man who wrote our national anthem, a great symbolic target. The federal government regularly lies to us. (COVID came from a bat.)
Remember, Biden and the Deep State did not intend to tell us that a Chinese spy balloon was crossing our nation. They were forced to do so by citizens in Montana who caught it on video.
Conclusion: Don’t assume anything in the difficult months ahead. A government that loves killing babies and wants drag queens to read to your six year-old will not hesitate to lie to you.

US allows for Gaza cease-fire resolution to clear UN, escalating feud with Benjamin Netanyahu
|

The United Nations Security Council approved a resolution Monday demanding an immediate cease-fire in Israel's war in Gaza during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and the unconditional release of all hostages from Gaza after the U.S. abstained from voting.
The U.S., a steadfast ally of Israel during its war in Gaza, allowed the resolution to move forward by abstaining, making it the first cease-fire resolution to pass the council since the Israel-Hamas war began. The 14 other member nations voted to approve the resolution.

Previous efforts to pass similar cease-fire resolutions had failed four times − three were vetoed by the Biden administration.

In an attempt to temper down an escalating feud between the Israeli government and Biden White House, Kirby said Israel remains a strong ally, adding that friends "can disagree." But the U.S. abstention was met with strong resistance by the Israeli government.

Netanyahu responds by halting delegation from traveling to US
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will no longer send a delegation that had planned to meet with Biden administration officials in Washington this week as Israel moves toward a military operation in Rafah in southern Gaza.
"In light of the change in the American position, Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided that the delegation will not travel to the U.S.," Netanyahu's office said. "The withdrawal of the U.S. from its position hurts efforts to release the hostages because it gives Hamas hope that international pressure will allow them to accept a cease-fire without the release of our hostages." MASS CASUALTY EVENT: Baltimore Bridge Collapses; Struck by Ship
|

DEVELOPING STORY: The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed early Tuesday morning in Baltimore after it was struck by ship. There were a number of cars and trucks on the bridge at the time of the collapse. At least 20 people are believed to be in the Patapsco River. Watch video of the collapse below.
Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has declared a state of emergency. The working theory is the ship lost power before striking the structure. CNN reported that that the Baltimore City Fire Department’s communications director, Kevin Cartwright, said as many as 20 people and multiple vehicles were in the water.
Earlier, the department told CBS News that at about 1:30 a.m., 911 calls started coming in saying a vessel had hit a bridge column. It was unclear how many vehicles were on the span but “there was surely a large tractor-trailer” on it.
The department described the collapse as “a mass casualty event.”
The Coast Guard said it has “multiple response units deployed for active search and rescue as there are reports of vehicles in the water.” There was no word on any fatalities. Cartwright told The Associated Press it was a “dire emergency” and some cargo was apparently dangling from the bridge.
The department said on its scanner that there was lots of diesel fuel in the water around the ship and that there were construction workers on the bridge pouring concrete at the time.
The MidAtlantic Coast Guard told CBS News the 948-foot Singapore-flagged cargo ship Dali had struck the bridge. It was apparently en route from Baltimore to Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Patapsco River, which the bridge crossed, is a key waterway that serves with the Port of Baltimore as a hub for East Coast shipping. (Todd Starnes) Go here. |

Former Defense Secretary Says Jan. 6 Committee Issued ‘Latent Threat’ to Keep Quiet

A former Trump secretary of defense revealed that he was pressured by the House Jan. 6 committee into staying silent about claims that then-President Donald Trump authorized the deployment of National Guard troops before the breach at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Speaking to the Daily Mail on March 23, former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, who was only on the job for about two months, said that members of the Democrat-led panel used “aggressive” tactics after he spoke to several media outlets about the Trump authorization. The final report from the Jan. 6 subcommittee, which was dissolved after the current Congress took over, claimed that President Trump did not authorize the deployment of the National Guard.
In 2022, Mr. Miller appeared on a Fox News segment along with former Trump national security official Kash Patel in an interview that he said “hit a nerve.” “The two of us were on [the Fox News show] and the next day my lawyer got a call from the Jan. 6 staff director. ... I forgot exactly who it was, but basically saying, very legalistic, ‘Well, if your client has additional information he wants to share, we’d be happy to have him re-interviewed,'” Mr. Miller told the Mail.
“It was more that latent threat of, ‘If you want to keep going on TV, we’re gonna drag you in here again for additional hours of hearing testimony.’ So that was the nature of that whole thing. It was the latent threat of the government continuing to intrude into my life.”
The former defense secretary added that he did not have the “resources to continue the battle” with the Jan. 6 committee and didn’t want to face any more depositions. Instead, he kept to himself and did not discuss how the panel allegedly targeted him. (Epoch Times) Read more here. |

As relations between the United States and Israel are seemingly at their lowest point in decades, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with several senior U.S. officials to discuss the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
“[I just completed a meeting] at the U.S. Department of State, with my friend Secretary Blinken,” Gallant stated on Tuesday afternoon.
"We discussed developments in the war against Hamas and the military operations required to destroy Hamas as a military and governing authority in Gaza."
Gallant's visit began on the same day that the U.S. abstained from votingon a UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire, without conditioning it upon the release of the Israeli hostages by Hamas. (Read more)

2. IDF Spokesman confirms Hamas number 3 Marwan Issa eliminated - Israel National News
IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed for the first time this evening (Tuesday) that Hamas's third-highest-ranking official in Gaza, Marwan Issa, was eliminated in an airstrike earlier this month.
Issa served as the deputy commander of the military wing of Hamas. He was also one of the architects of the massacre of October 7 and was involved in the planning of the kidnapping of Gilad Schalit in 2006.
In addition, Hagari confirmed that Hamas commander Ghazi Abu Tama’a was also killed in the March 10 airstrike in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza. (Read more)

“Hamas’ position clearly proves that it is not interested in continuing negotiations for a deal, and is an unfortunate testimony to the damage of the [United Nations] Security Council’s decision,” the statement read. “Hamas once again rejected any American compromise proposal and repeated its extreme demands: an immediate end to the war, a complete withdrawal of the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] from the Gaza Strip, and the remaining in power so that it could repeat the massacre of Oct. 7 again and again, as it had promised to do.”
The statement added: “Israel will not submit to the delusional demands of Hamas, and will continue to act to achieve all the goals of the war: to release all the abductees, to destroy the military and governmental capabilities of Hamas, and to ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel.”

4. Israel cuts ties with UNRWA - World Israel News
Israel has decided to cut off all ties with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) over their terror ties, a government spokesman said Monday.
“UNRWA are part of the problem, and we will now stop working with them,” said David Mencer of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate, which operates out of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“We are actively phasing out the use of UNRWA because they perpetuate the conflict rather than try and alleviate the conflict,” Mencer said at a press briefing.
Jerusalem revealed in January that an investigation into the agency had found that a dozen of its staff members had taken part in Hamas’ October 7 invasion of Israel, when 1,200 people were massacred and 253 abducted into the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

5. Israel said to hit Hezbollah stronghold deep inside Lebanon, marking northernmost strike amid war - Times of Israel
Lebanese media outlets report that Israeli airstrikes have occurred near northeastern Lebanon’s Baalbek. The strikes reportedly take place near the town of al-Ain area in the Baalbek District, more than 110 kilometers (70 miles) from the Israeli border
Footage shows smoke rising from an allegedly targeted site.
Baalbek has been identified in the past as a Hezbollah stronghold.
The strike would be the fifth time that Israel has hit Hezbollah positions in the Baalbek area since hostilities on Israel’s northern border began on October 8, and the deepest strike in Lebanon amid the Israel-Hamas war. (Read more)

The Caribbean island of Hispaniola, shared by Haiti and the Dominican Republic, has been divided for centuries, sometimes bitterly, by language, race, history and culture. As Haiti descends further into chaos and collapse, the divides are becoming concrete—literally. 3. Mexican president says the 'flow of migrants will continue' unless the US meets his demands - Fox News
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador warned on Sunday during an interview with "60 Minutes" that unless the United States complies with Latin America’s requests for aid, the tide of migrants will continue.
In January, Obrador issued a series of demands for what the U.S. must do to stop the flow of migrants to the border, ranging from sending Latin American countries $20 billion in aid a year to granting some level of amnesty to illegal immigrant workers in the U.S.
Mexico has reportedly taken some state-level action to curb mass migration at President Biden’s request, making crossings drop, however, the number of migrants began to rise again in February, with Border Patrol expecting another surge in thespring.

4. FDA Admits COVID Vaccines Cause Seizures in Toddlers - Vigilant News
Toddlers and other young children faced a higher risk of seizures shortly after COVID-19 vaccination, according to a new study from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) researchers.
The incidence of febrile seizures was 2.5 times higher among children within a day after receiving a Moderna shot than among the same children eight to 63 days after vaccination, the researchers said.
That risk was “significantly elevated,” they wrote in a preprint paper describing the results.
There was also a higher risk for febrile seizures zero to one day after receipt of a Pfizer-BioNTech dose than in the 8–63 day window following vaccination, but that elevated risk was not statistically significant.
Richard Forshee, deputy director of the FDA’s Office of Biostatistics and Pharmacovigilance, and other researchers conducted the self-controlled case series by analyzing data from commercial databases. 5. Diddy's homes RAIDED by Homeland Security agents as rapper faces multiple mounting lawsuits - The Daily Mail
Two properties belonging to rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs in Los Angeles and Miami were searched Monday by federal Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
The rapper, who is facing mounting sexual harassment and rape lawsuits, was nowhere to be seen as agents combed through his properties on Monday afternoon, removing boxes and bags of evidence.
While it was later confirmed that the mogul was not on board, Diddy's personal jet - LoveAir LLC - has been tracked to Antigua in the Caribbean, according to TMZ. A police line was set up around the Los Angeles house in the wealthy Holmby Hills neighborhood near Beverly Hills, where at least two men were put in handcuffs. Armed agents from the Department of Homeland Security entered luxury properties on both East and West Coasts of the United States, with video footage showing helicopters circling overhead. 6. US embassy in Paris issues security alert for Americans in France after Moscow terrorist attack - Fox News
The American embassy in Paris has issued a security alert for U.S. Citizens in France following last week’s terrorist attack in Moscow. This means that visitors in France can expect to see heightened security in public areas, including public transport, places of worship, tourist sites, schools, sports venues, and other large commercial centers.
The U.S. Embassy has warned that terrorists may target tourist locations "with little or no warning." “Visitors to congested and popular tourist areas should be particularly attentive to their surroundings," the embassy said, urging the public to report suspicious activity to law enforcement.
The warning comes after the French government elevated its Vigipirate national security alert system to its highest level, following a terrorist attack in Moscow on Friday evening. Russian authorities said "radical Islamists" killed 139 people at a suburban concert hall in Moscow. (Read more)

7. Kamala Harris to meet Guatemalan leader on immigration, announces new initiatives, extends INVITATIONS to come to the US - DML News
Vice President Kamala Harris plans to meet on Monday with President Bernardo Arévalo of Guatemala as the U.S. grapples with an influx of migrants to its southern border, thousands from that Central American nation.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the Biden administration’s use of so-called “safe mobility offices,” which were set up in Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica and Ecuador in the fall, among other immigration matters. The safe mobility offices are designed to streamline the U.S. refugee process so migrants apply where they are and avoid paying smugglers to make the journey north.
As the 2024 election heats up, immigration has become a rising bipartisan concern. Both Democrats and Republicans in Congress say the system is broken, but efforts by lawmakers to address the problems have failed. 8. Court agrees to pause collection of Trump’s massive civil fraud judgment if he puts up $175M - Associated Press
A New York appeals court on Monday agreed to hold off collection of former President Donald Trump’s more than $454 million civil fraud judgment if he puts up $175 million within 10 days.
If Trump does, it will stop the clock on collection and prevent the state from seizing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s assets while he appeals. The appeals court also halted other aspects of a trial judge’s ruling that had barred Trump and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the family company’s executive vice presidents, from serving in corporate leadership for several years.
In all, the order was a significant victory for the Republican ex-president as he defends the real estate empire that vaulted him into public life. The development came just before New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, was expected to initiate efforts to collect the judgment. (Read more)

The final vote was 14 in favor, none opposed and one abstention—the Unites States. By abstaining instead of exercising its veto power, the US allowed the resolution to pass. According to reports, US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the resolution did not condemn Hamas for the October 7 terrorist attack. However, she agreed with other parts of the resolution and deferred to Islam, saying “This should be a season of peace…This resolution rightly acknowledges that during the month of Ramadan we must recommit to peace.” This has prophetic ramifications.
By putting the Democratic Party’s long-curried Islamic voting bloc ahead of the national security interests of both Israel and the United States prior to a crucial reelection bid and underscoring it as a token toward Ramadan, Biden departed from wise, longstanding policy. Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge was gone in a flash early Tuesday after a cargo ship collided with one of its pillars, snapping the structure into pieces and sending it tumbling into the water below.
As rescuers scramble to find multiple people who remain missing and as the details remain unclear, experts weigh what could have possibly caused the catastrophe. One structural engineer – John Pistorino – says he's "surprised" the ship was able to take down the structure at all.
"At this point, I'm surprised that a container ship like that, which is so large, would be able to [take it down] even if it's off course," he said on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday.
"Back over in Tampa, we do have some means underwater now, so if the ship does get out of its own direction, it will divert it away from the critical parts of the bridge. There's underwater structures that the ship would come across before it actually got to the bridge itself," he continued, referencing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge that saw a similar disaster in the Tampa Bay area decades ago.
Continuing on that note, Pistorino outlined the need for "redundancy" in bridge construction.
Redundancy, according to the American Institute of Steel Construction, is "the quality of a bridge that enables it to perform its design function in a damaged state" and is considered a "desired characteristic of good design." (Fox News) Read more here.

The Supreme Court appeared skeptical that the doctors group who challenged the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) loosening of regulations of the abortion pill mifepristone had the right to bring the case.
Justice Neil Gorsuch pointed out that the universal injunction the group was requesting is a relatively new form of court order that the high court itself has "never adopted." He said this case was a prime example of a small case turning into a "nationwide legislative assembly."
The pro-life doctors argued that they've suffered harm from having to conduct emergency procedures for women who've taken the abortion pill and experience complications. The government counters this by contending that complications from the abortion pill are rare, and the objecting doctors can themselves opt out of the procedure under federal conscience laws.
In her rebuttal, Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar reiterated her assertion that the respondent doctors did not have standing to challenge the FDA’s approval of mifepristone.
“What is so telling is that respondents don’t have a specific example of any doctor ever having to violate this care in violation of their conscience,” Ms. Prelogar said. “Instead, respondents pointed to generalized assertions and the declarations that never come out and specifically say, by one of their identified members, ‘Here’s the care I provided, here’s how it violated my conscience, and here’s why conscience protections were unavailable to me.’”
That lack of testimony, she said, indicated to her that “the past harm hasn’t happened.”

Gorsuch Interrupts, Says Case 'Prime Example' of New Trend Supreme Court Has 'Never Adopted'
Justice Neil Gorsuch interrupted a back-and-forth between Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and attorney Erin Hawley on the topic of conscience injuries.
Normally, courts issue relief that addresses the plaintiff's injuries "and go no further," he said. Here there were a "handful" of individuals with conscience objections.
"Normally, we would allow equitable relief to address them. Recently, I think what Justice Jackson's alluding to, we've had what one might call a rash of universal injunctions of vacatures. And this case seems like a prime example of turning a small lawsuit into a nationwide legislative assembly on an FDA rule or any other federal action," he said, asking for Ms. Hawley's thoughts. Where do you need to be to see the total solar eclipse?
To witness the total solar eclipse, you will need to be in a narrow zone called the path of totality, which will extend from Mexico, across part of the central and eastern United States and over Atlantic Canada. Areas of North America outside of this area will experience only a partial solar eclipse.
Why will schools and businesses be closed on eclipse day?
Millions of people are expected to pack into the path of totality on April 8, which will create widespread travel congestion. In parts of the eastern U.S., the total eclipse will occur around the same time that schools dismiss, adding school busses filled with children to the travel chaos and gridlocks that may ensue in the path of totality as crowds of spectators begin the journey home.
What will the weather be like for the eclipse? Will clouds ruin the event?
This is the million-dollar question. The cloud forecast is complex as meteorologists need to predict the cloud forecast for the four-minute window when the moon completely blocks out the sun.
