TOP STORY:
TORNADOES RAVAGE THREE STATES FRIDAY NIGHT
|
|
|
ROLLING FORK, Miss. (AP) — Powerful tornadoes tore through the Deep South on Friday night, killing at least 26 people in Mississippi, obliterating dozens of buildings and leaving an especially devastating mark in a rural town whose mayor declared, “My city is gone.”
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said in a Twitter post that search and rescue teams from local and state agencies were deployed to help victims impacted by the tornadoes. The agency confirmed early Saturday that 26 people had died, four were missing and dozens were injured. A few minutes later, the agency warned the casualty toll could go higher, tweeting: “Unfortunately, these numbers are expected to change.”
The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado caused damage about 60 miles (96 kilometers) northeast of Jackson, Mississippi. The rural towns of Silver City and Rolling Fork reported destruction as the tornado swept northeast at 70 mph (113 kph) without weakening, racing towards Alabama through towns, including Winona and Amory, into the night.
Rolling Fork Mayor Eldridge Walker told CNN that his town was essentially wiped out. “My city is gone. But we are resilient and we are going to come back strong,” he said.
The National Weather Service issued an alert Friday night as the storm was hitting that didn’t mince words: “To protect your life, TAKE COVER NOW! You are in a life-threatening situation,” it warned. “Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible.”
The tornado looked so powerful on radar as it neared the town of Amory, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) southeast of Tupelo, that one Mississippi meteorologist paused to say a prayer after new radar information came in. JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi's governor declared a state of emergency following overnight storms that left more than 20 people dead.

Iran enriching uranium above 60% could trigger strike, Israeli official says
|
|
Israel told the Biden administration and several European countries that Iran would be entering dangerous territory that could trigger an Israeli military strike if it enriches uranium above the 60% level, a senior Israeli official told Axios.
Iran has amassed 87.5 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, according to an International Atomic Energy Agency report from late February. Experts say that if that uranium is enriched to 90% weapons grade, it would be a sufficient quantity to produce at least one nuclear bomb.
The official added that Israel didn’t want to set 90% enrichment as a “red line” because officials believe Iran will feel it can begin enriching and amassing uranium at a level just short of weapons grade. (AXIOS) Read more here.

TOP STORY 3:
Top US general: 'Multiple options' exist if Iran decides to build a bomb
|
|
|
General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Thursday that “from a time of Iranian decision,” the Islamic Republic could produce fissile material for a nuclear weapon in less than two weeks, and it would only take “several more months” to produce an actual nuclear weapon.
Testifying at the House Appropriations Committee to discuss the Pentagon budget request for 2024 alongside Secretary Lloyd Austin, General Milley said that Iran threatens to push the Middle East into regional instability by continuing its support to terrorists and proxy forces.
“But the United States remains committed as a matter of policy that Iran will not have a fielded nuclear weapon,” he told the House panel. He went on to say that the US military has developed “multiple options for our national leadership to consider if or when Iran ever decides to develop an actual nuclear weapon.” (Jerusalem Post) Read more.

- We pray swift action and swift decisions be made regarding Iran's nuclear weapons. Let everyone involved be in agreement and create urgency for action.

1. Urgent call to prayer for Israel!
Go here to listen to the comments made yesterday by Amir Tsarfati.
Reporting live from Tel Aviv, the city is engulfed in chaos as the opposition leader and left wing supporters incite protests that could lead to civil war. The smell of smoke and sound of sirens fills the air, and even Arab news channels and Russian-speaking channels are covering the events. With these protests, people are left believing that democracy is at its end. Even military reserve duty is being refused. All eyes are on Netanyahu after he fired the defense minister. Will the judiciary reform continue? Will Netanyahu cave in to the pressure?
- Father God, we lift up P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu before Your Throne of Grace. Lord God, our dear Abba, we CRY OUT to you for peace to descend upon this land, and for Your very strength to infuse P.M. Netanyahu at this critical hour for his administration. Hear our prayer, O Lord, for You know how to intervene in this crisis. We ask in Your Name, amen and amen.
- "“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” (Nahum 1:7)

2. Gallant calls to pause judicial overhaul, citing ‘tangible danger’ to state security - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Saturday called for the government to halt its judicial overhaul legislation to allow for reform talks, days after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the government would pass a key part of the proposed shakeup next week.
“The legislative process should be halted” for several weeks, Gallant said, a stance that received public support from two other Likud politicians and the reported backing of a third, while others in the party castigated him and Otzma Yehudit coalition party leader Itamar Ben Gvir demanded that he be fired.
“The security of the State of Israel is my life’s mission,” said Gallant, a retired general who was once a nominee to be the military’s chief of staff. “Clothed in the IDF’s uniform, I have risked my life dozens of times for the State of Israel, and at this time, for the sake of our country, I am willing to take any risk and pay any price.” (Read more)

3. Netanyahu fires Defense Minister Gallant due to judicial reform opposition - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant following his opposition to the judicial reform, it was announced on Sunday evening.
Gallant made a dramatic declaration on Saturday evening calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt the judicial overhaul long enough to more deeply engage in negotiations with others to reach a compromise.
The prime minister told Gallant he lost his trust in the defense minister after he "went behind the government's back" on Saturday evening, while Netanyahu was visiting the United Kingdom. (Read more)

4. 2 soldiers wounded in West Bank drive-by shooting - Israel Hayom
The IDF said two soldiers were wounded, one severely, Saturday evening in a drive-by shooting in Samaria, the latest in months-long violence between Israel and the Palestinians.
The attack was the third to take place in the Palestinian town of Hawara in less than a month. One soldier was seriously wounded and the second was in moderate condition, the military said. A manhunt was launched as forces sealed roads leading to Hawara.
No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the shooting attack, but Hamas, the terrorist group ruling the Gaza Strip, praised it. "The resistance in the West Bank can surprise the occupation every time and the occupation cannot enjoy safety," Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said. (Read more)

6. New Palestinian Terrorist Group Emerging in West Bank - Algemeiner
i24 News – A new armed Palestinian group has been established in the northern West Bank town of Salfit, media reported on Sunday.
The Jerusalem Post learned that a number of terror militias have been operating there for several months. The new group, called the “Martyr Omar Abu Laila Battalion,” is named after a Palestinian terrorist who carried out a stabbing attack near Ariel, in the central West Bank, killing two Israelis, a soldier and a civilian.
On March 17, 2019, the terrorist stabbed Sergeant Gal Keidan at Ariel Junction, grabbed the soldier’s gun and opened fire, hitting Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, who later succumbed to his wounds. The terrorist was later killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli army forces. (Read more)

1. As Multiple Banks Implode, Insurance Deposit Limit Receives Renewed Scrutiny | The Daily Wire
Lawmakers created the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, also known as the FDIC, in the first years of the Great Depression in order to prevent bank runs and restore faith in the financial system. Some lawmakers are considering revisions to the present deposit insurance limit of $250,000 as the economy grapples with the second-largest bank failure in American history.
Silicon Valley Bank provided services to half of venture-backed technology and healthcare firms in the United States; the vast majority of customers therefore maintained deposits well above the $250,000 threshold backed by the FDIC, since businesses generally require larger sums of liquid assets to conduct operations and compensate employees.
When the FDIC was forced to take over the company on March 10, however, officials guaranteed deposits both above and below the $250,000 threshold in order to prevent bank runs at other financial institutions. Signature Bank, another company with a substantial majority of large depositors, collapsed on March 12 and was likewise taken over by the FDIC.
- Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to be brought to bear in the banking situations threatening the country at this time. You know all things and have all solutions. We pray that no more banking collapses occur outside of Your will.
- “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt. 6:10)

2. So far over the censorship line’: Disturbing details emerge of WH’s reported attempt to police PRIVATE speech (bizpacreview.com)
While the “Twitter Files” exposed to the world the government’s collusion with the social media platform to suppress public posts and censor the voices of anyone who dared to deviate from the government’s approved narrative on any number of issues, journalist David Zweig claims the “far more alarming” revelation is the attempt by the Biden White House to police what is said on “a private speech platform.”
According to Zweig, “The Biden White House pressured Meta to moderate ‘vaccine-skeptical’ content on WhatsApp.”
“This is fundamentally different from social media,” the writer stated on Twitter, “since WhatsApp is used for private communication.”

|
- Father, we ask that You put a stop to the continual censorship of viewpoints that disagree with the Biden administration, especially this one on a supposedly private app. We apply Your Word over this situation and thank You in advance for the solution.

3. GOP Reps Introduce Bills to 'Protect Americans' From Biden Admin's 'Egregious Power-Grab' With Stoves (ijr.com)
Two House Republicans are introducing legislation to prevent President Joe Biden’s administration from banning gas stoves.
Reps. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.) and Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz.) introduced two bills meant to “prevent the Biden administration bureaucrats from banning natural gas stoves nationwide.”
Armstrong said, “Inflation is hurting everyone. We have a crisis at our Southern Border. North Dakotans are worried about being able to provide for their families. What is the Biden administration focused on? Controlling the kind of stove Americans use.”
- Lord, this administration is slowly destroying our industries and economy. We ask from our hearts that You intervene to save America. Please bring repentance to our nation, and a change in direction.
- “Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. “ (Matthew 3:18)

5. New York nears deal creating first ban on gas stoves for new homes in the country | Fox News
Lawmakers in New York are gearing up to enact legislation that would prohibit gas stoves from being used in new buildings, including new single-family homes and new commercial properties.
Should the proposal – included in the state budget that's due March 31 – receive a nod from Empire State lawmakers, it would be the first piece of legislation in the nation to target gas and fossil fuel applia nces.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and many of her fellow Democrats in the state legislature have signaled support for proposals that would prevent the use of water heaters, fossil fuel furnaces, and gas stoves in a bulk majority of new construction.
- Lord, we ask that this plan fail and not be implemented. Let repentance flow across New York’s legislature and Governor to see truth and ramifications of their actions.

6. DeSantis on possibly joining Trump in 2024: 'I'm probably more of an executive guy' | Fox News
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis explained on Thursday that he is "more of an executive guy" in response to a question about whether or not he would join a potential ticket as former President Trump’s running mate come 2024.
"I think I’m probably more of an executive guy," the governor told Newsmax. "I think that you want to be able to do things. That’s part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action."
"We’re able to make things happen, and I think that’s probably what I am best suited for," said DeSantis.
- Lord, we ask that a healing occur between President Trump and Governor DeSantis. We pray for reconciliation and repentance, that no more attacks happen. We bind the spirit of division and ask that the breach be repaired.
- “And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.” (Isaiah 58:12)

7. Hysterical media points fingers at Trump over white powder, threatening note sent to Manhattan DA (bizpacreview.com)
Former President Donald J. Trump was accused of inciting violence over a series of scathing social media posts torching Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as the grand jury in his malicious prosecution against the 2024 GOP presidential candidate appears stalled while an envelope containing a suspicious white powder was discovered at the DA’s office.
On Friday, the media went berserk over Trump’s onslaught on the George Soros-backed Bragg, whom he repeatedly savaged on his Truth Social platform and in one post dripping with the hyperbolic flair that is his trademark, warned of “death & destruction” if he is charged, appearing to describe the DA as a “degenerate psychopath who “hates the USA!”
- Lord, we know that President Trump is prone to anger, so we bind his anger and ask that Your Spirit visit him with peace. Bring Your powerful healing to his heart.
- “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)

8. Trump Attorney Evan Corcoran Testifies In Classified Documents Probe | The Daily Caller
An attorney for former President Donald Trump testified under court order before a federal grand jury Friday regarding Trump’s handling of classified documents.
Trump attorney Evan Corcoran was seen entering a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., at approximately 9 a.m. Friday morning, NBC news reported.
Corcoran had previously claimed attorney-client privilege and refused to answer some questions about his alleged communications with Trump regarding the documents, but U.S. Judge Beryl Howell of the D.C. District Court wrote March 17 that Corcoran would be forced to testify. She ordered him to hand over documents tied to the “criminal scheme,” including “handwritten notes, invoices, and transcriptions of personal audio recordings,” ABC News reported Tuesday, citing anonymous sources.
- Lord, we ask that only truth come from any witness testimony, and let no lies be perpetrated by anyone involved.
- “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17)

Circus Politics are Intended to Distract Us: Don't Be Distracted
|
|
|
"There is nothing more dangerous than a government of the many controlled by the few.” - Lawrence Lessig, Harvard law professor
|
|
It is easy to be distracted right now by the bread and circus politics that have dominated the news headlines lately, but don’t be distracted.
Don’t be fooled, not even a little.
We’re being subjected to the oldest con game in the books, the magician’s sleight of hand that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.
This is how tyranny rises and freedom falls.
What characterizes American government today is not so much dysfunctional politics as it is ruthlessly contrived governance carried out behind the entertaining, distracting and disingenuous curtain of political theater. And what political theater it is, diabolically Shakespearean at times, full of sound and fury, yet in the end, signifying nothing.
We are being ruled by a government of scoundrels, spies, thugs, thieves, gangsters, ruffians, rapists, extortionists, bounty hunters, battle-ready warriors and cold-blooded killers who communicate using a language of force and oppression.
The U.S. government now poses the greatest threat to our freedoms.
More than terrorism, more than domestic extremism, more than gun violence and organized crime, even more than the perceived threat posed by any single politician, the U.S. government remains a greater menace to the life, liberty and property of its citizens than any of the so-called dangers from which the government claims to protect us.
No matter who has occupied the White House in recent years, the Deep State has succeeded in keeping the citizenry divided and at each other’s throats. After all, as long as we’re busy fighting each other, we’ll never manage to present a unified front against tyranny in any form. (ZeroHedge) Read more.

- Abba, we are in desperate need of your help. Our hearts are just sick to find that leadership in our nation has become infested by those whose hearts are against you and against the United States as it was created to be. We find ourselves in a "but God" place. Jesus we ask your forgiveness for voting to put these people into places of power, places where they misuse that power to set their evil agendas into action against the people of this great country. Father, at times it feels like we have no power or authority to change what we know in our hearts needs to be changed.
But Jesus, you are able to change these circumstances, nothing is too hard or too big for you. We ask you to raise up a remnant that will "listen and do". Let your people ignore the chaos going on around them and be an army of intercessors and prayer warriors. Warriors who have eyes to see and ears to hear the truth, ones who will have discernment to know the reality of what is going on in the spirit and exactly how to pray your will into the circumstances you show them. Jesus we declare that you are always beside us, you will never leave us or forsake us, you are always faithful. AMEN and AMEN.
- "To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to those with integrity you show integrity.
To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the wicked you show yourself hostile.
You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud.
You light a lamp for me. The Lord my God, lights up my darkness.
In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.
God's way is perfect. All the Lord's promises prove true. He is a shield
for all who look to him for protection."

US Appeals Court Blocks COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Federal Workers
|
|
|
A federal appeals court has halted the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal workers nationwide.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans ruled (pdf) in an en banc hearing on Thursday to keep a preliminary injunction on the COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place amid ongoing litigation over the matter. En banc is a legal term that means a case is heard by the entire bench of a court, rather than just by a panel of judges selected from the bench.
The latest move by the full appeals court of 16 full-time judges reverses a previous ruling that was made by a smaller panel of judges from the same appeals court. That three-judge panel had ruled in April 2022 to uphold the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal workers.
The full appeals court on Thursday found that the case falls outside the jurisdiction of the CSRA (the Civil Service Reform Act) because the federal workers are challenging the vaccine mandate on the grounds that Biden exceeded his authority. The majority of the court rejected arguments from the Biden administration that the president has the same authority as a CEO of a private corporation to mandate vaccinations for its employees. - We thank You that this mandate was halted. We pray this idea dies and never comes back again. Protect our rights as citizens, in Jesus name.

BREAKING: Iran retaliates against US strikes, fires 3 missiles at American base in Syria
|
|
|
Iran-backed fighters have reportedly fired three missiles at a US military base in northeast Syria today after President Joe Biden approved a retaliatory air strike in response to what is believed to have been an Iranian drone attack that killed an American contractor and wounded five US troops, per Daily Mail.
The report noted that the Iran-supported groups targeted the US base around the Al-Omar oil field at 11 am Friday morning.
Two of the three missiles were said to have fallen into an oil field, with the third landing on a civilian house nearby, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. It is currently unclear if the strikes have resulted in any casualties.
The Daily Mail reported that militants launched the airstrikes shortly after Biden had approved the US Central Command forces to execute “precision airstrikes” against infrastructure use by groups close to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, which reportedly killed 11 pro-Iran fighters.
Lloyd Austin, Defense Secretary, said on Thursday that the retaliatory airstrikes were carried out by the IRGC, a branch of the Iranian military that has been designated as a terrorist group the US. (The Post Millenial.com) Go here.

Prayer: Abba, we pray for the safety and protection of our armed servicemen who are in harm's way at the US base in Syria. Abba, our nation seems to be waning, and we appear to be weak. We ask that you would give great wisdom to our military leaders in how to respond to Iran.

Trump Opens First 2024 Rally With
Recording of Jan. 6 Prison Choir
|
|
|
President Donald Trump opened the first rally of his 2024 campaign with a recording of imprisoned Jan. 6 defendants singing the national anthem.
The song played after Trump walked on stage in Waco, Texas, The announcer asked the people in the crowd to stand and place their hands over their hearts.
The tune, which is a collage of the national anthem and a recording of Trump reading the Pledge of Allegiance, hit the number-one spot on several major music platforms. Trump helped to produce the song, dubbed “Justice for All.”
Trump noted the popularity of the song, saying that “those people [Jan. 6 defendants] mean a lot for our people.
“The abuses of power we are seeing in our government will go down as some of the most depraved and corrupt in history,” Trump said near the beginning of the rally, a likely reference both to the plight of Jan. 6 defendants and ongoing GOP investigations into the “weaponization” of the federal government.
“The Biden regime’s weaponization of federal law enforcement is something out of Stalinist Russia,” Trump added. “A third-world banana republic—that’s what we’ve become.”
Trump has said that he would pardon Jan. 6 protesters if he retakes the White House.
The proceeds from the sale of the song go toward the legal funds of some of the Jan. 6 prisoners, according to the closing screen of the official music video. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

Strongest solar storm in nearly 6 years slams into
Earth catching forecasters by surprise
|
|
The powerful solar storm supercharged auroras as far south as Colorado and New Mexico.
The most powerful solar storm in nearly six years slammed Earth today (March 24), but strangely, space weather forecasters didn't see it coming.
The geomagnetic storm peaked as a severe G4 on the 5-grade scale used by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to assess the severity of space weather events. The storm's unexpected ferocity not only made auroras visible as far south as New Mexico in the U.S., but it also forced spaceflight company Rocket Lab to delay a launch by 90 minutes.
Geomagnetic storms are disturbances to Earth's magnetic field caused by solar material from coronal mass ejections (CME) — large expulsions of plasma and magnetic field from the sun's atmosphere. It turns out that this particular geomagnetic storm was triggered by a "stealth" CME which — as the name suggests — is rather tricky to detect. Read More

Thousands gather at Illinois March for Life amid Democrat 'intimidation' of pregnancy centers
|
|
Thousands of pro-life advocates gathered at the Illinois State Capitol building on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, for the Illinois March for Life. Civic and religious leaders spoke to crowd at the Lincoln Statue, several echoing the words of the Great Emancipator as they appealed to Illinois legislators to protect the women and children being preyed upon by the abortion industry. Immediately following the March, pro-life advocates met with state representatives and state senators to share how pregnancy resource centers offer tangible support to women through pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, cribs, car seats, parenting classes, and diapers.
One Illinois legislator, the Honorable Dr. William E. Hauter, M.D., Illinois State Representative, District 87 (R-Morton), spoke emphatically about choice. He shared how many in the Illinois state house are seeking to “silence and intimidate” pregnancy resource centers, the only places in Illinois where women are offered “true choices,” along with material, emotional, and medical support. Hauter emphasized that this help is offered free of charge without spending one cent of taxpayer dollars and contrasted these care centers with abortion facilities that only present women with the choice to abort their child.
Hauter lamented that Illinois’ goal seems to be making abortion, “Common, celebrated, and less safe than ever before.” Denouncing the proposed Illinois Senate Bill 1909 that would force pro-life pregnancy resource centers to provide abortion referrals, he noted, “They don’t care that this bill is unconstitutional, irrational, and unpopular … We must persevere. We are right on every level of this argument, and that makes us mighty indeed.” Hauter left the podium, backed by more than a dozen pro-life legislators, one of whom led the audience in an impromptu chant, “Give me an L, give me an I, give me an F, give me an E,” to the delight of the crowd. - "The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." (Job 33:4)

Words and Music: George Bennard
Scripture: The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 6:14
Lyrics:
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
Refrain
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
Refrain
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.
Refrain
To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.
Refrain
