Ukraine Sees Signs of Another Neighbor Planning ‘Direct Invasion’

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense on Sunday claimed that Belarus is preparing its military to invade Ukraine before warning Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. There are “signs of preparation” that Belarus will carry out the “direct invasion of the territory of Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry wrote on social media, according to a translation. It did not provide evidence for its claim, nor did it provide other details. “The direct involvement of Belarusian troops in Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, against the will of ordinary soldiers and the vast majority of the Belarusian people, will be a fatal mistake for Alexander Lukashenko,” the ministry added.

Officials in Belarus have not issued a public comment in response to Ukraine’s allegations.

Belarus shares a lengthy border with Ukraine. Russian forces were seen amassing in Belarus in the weeks leading up to the start of the conflict on Feb. 24, although so far, it appears no Belarussian forces have been deployed in Ukraine.

Lukashenko said last week that his country had intercepted a missile that was fired from Ukraine, claiming the move is an attempt to draw his country into the conflict. I warned you that they would push us into this operation, into this war,” Lukashenko told Belarusian soldiers via state news agency BelTA. “There’s nothing for us to do there, and we haven’t been invited,” Lukashenko was quoted as saying by the outlet, reported Reuters. “I want to emphasize again … We are not going to become involved in this operation that Russia is conducting in Ukraine.” (The Epoch Times) Read more.

- Lord, we bind the actions of Belarus leadership and pray that it will fall apart quickly and decisively in Jesus Mighty Name! We place a Bloodline between Belarus, Ukraine and Russia now, and separate them asunder, again in Your name, amen.

- "God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him!" (Psalm 68:1)

1. Knesset delegation to visit Ukraine-Hungary border; EU weighs oil embargo on Russia - Israel Hayom

A delegation of Israeli lawmakers and the Jewish Agency will visit the border crossings between Ukraine and Hungary this week, the Knesset said in a statement on Monday.

Acting on orders from the government led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, hundreds of policemen raided the Binyamin area on Monday morning and destroyed over 20 illegal structures built by Israelis, including two synagogues.

Operating from the early hours of the morning, the massive forces removed the families living in the structures and then destroyed them. Eight families, including 20 children, lost their homes. Resisting the destruction, several residents were arrested.

In one incident, the police did not untie a dog in one of the structures and reportedly killed it in the demolition. (Read more)

4. Bennett makes surprise visit to Egypt for trilateral summit with UAE, Egyptian leaders - JNS

(March 21, 2022 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is currently on a previously unannounced visit to Egypt to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and United Arab Emirates Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

Plans for the summit were finalized over the last several days as part of an effort to forge a coalition, with U.S. support, of countries, including Egypt, the Gulf states and Turkey, to stand together against Iran, Haaretzreported. Additionally, it was reported that Israel is interested in convincing the UAE and Saudi Arabia to boost their oil production to offset Russian oil. Israel is also interested in helping assist Egypt in finding alternative sources of wheat amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

An Egyptian official told Haaretz that the three leaders would focus their talks on Iran, Syria and Ukraine. Prior to arriving in Egypt, al-Nahyan met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Abu Dhabi last week, which drew U.S. condemnation. (Read more)

The Daily Brief
1. Xavier Becerra Promotes CRT-Based 'Health Equity' as HHS Top Priority - Breitbart
Health and Human Services (HHS) Sec. Xavier Becerra on Friday identified “health equity” as the department’s top priority under his leadership.

“Health equity has to be part of everything we do,” Becerra said, during an address marking his first year in office. “You will see health equity pervades everything we do.”

For the left, “equity” means rationing and redistributing resources based on perceived oppression, privilege, and social status — typically based on race or gender identity.

Becerra’s commitment to the ideology marks an important milestone for a movement that has been proliferating among medical schools and professionals.

As Breitbart News reported, the radical group “White Coats for Black Lives” has infiltrated American medical schools, forcing the “equity” ideology into many aspects of medical decision-making, ethics, and hiring practices.

This group believes that “the dominant medical practice in the United States has been built on the dehumanization and exploitation of Black people” and therefore advocates “‘prioritizing’ black patients over other patients and ‘unlearning toxic medical knowledge and relearning medical care that centers the needs of Black people and communities.'”
- Lord, this ideology is one of coercion, forcing people to believe negative things that one group believes. We pray that our minority brothers and sisters will awaken and be freed from “group think” so that they may truly experience Your freedom.

- “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

2. Jen Psaki brushes off Biden's conflicts of interest - NY Post
White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Friday brushed off questions about President Biden’s conflicts of interest in Russia and China — telling The Post that she had “no confirmation” of the findings of a Senate report that found a firm linked to Hunter Biden got $3.5 million from a Russian billionaire who has yet to face US sanctions.

And Psaki once again refused to say if Hunter Biden actually divested from a Chinese investment fund controlled by state-owned entities.

Psaki spent much of her regular briefing discussing President Biden’s Friday morning video call with Chinese President Xi Jinping regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — but she brushed off The Post’s inquiries about how Biden is handling conflicts of interest in both nations. (Read more)

- Lord, our leadership, including the Press Secretary must be stopped from ignoring the evil they have perpetrated. We pray for all in America from the top on down, to repent.

- “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19)

3. Donald Trump Responds to New York Times' Admission on Hunter Biden Emails - Breitbart
Former President Donald Trump on Friday responded to the New York Times admitting the emails found on a laptop at a repair shop in Delaware belonged to Hunter Biden and are authentic.

Trump said in a statement: “The New York Times just admitted that it participated in an effort to rig the election for Joe Biden.”

“Read the article by the New York Post here,” he added, linking to a scathing New York Post editorial slamming the Times for ignoring its breaking reporting on the emails two years ago, not attempting to authenticate the emails at that time, and printing Democrats’ statements calling the report’s credibility into question.

The Times earlier this week finally admitted in a report on Thursday the emails were authentic. The report said (emphasis added):

“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.” (Read more)

- Lord, we knew at the time something was terribly wrong. We pray that You will right this travesty, bring repentance to us and save our sinful nation from total destruction.

- “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

4. Judge finds that ex-county clerk Kim Davis violated same-sex couples' constitutional rights - The Hill
A Kentucky federal judge on Friday ruled that former county clerk Kim Davis violated two gay couples' constitutional rights when she repeatedly denied them a marriage license.

U.S. Judge David Bunning in the Eastern District of Kentucky found Davis guilty of violating the constitutional rights of the plaintiffs in the case, David Ermold and David Moore, and James Yates and Will Smith, according to the court document. The matter will likely go to trial to determine the damages.

In his ruling, Bunning said Davis purposely evaded the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court ruling Obergefell v. Hodges, which legalized same-sex marriage in the U.S. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will grant Ms. Davis Your Presence and fill her with faith and the knowledge of Your will. Please protect her from damages that exceed her ability to pay.

- “Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials.” (2 Peter 2: 9a)

5. Bipartisan group of senators visits Poland, Germany to meet with NATO partners over Ukraine - The Hill
A bipartisan group of senators are visiting Poland and Germany this weekend to meet with NATO partners and military officials over the ongoing invasion of Ukraine, marking the second trip that lawmakers have made to Poland in recent weeks.

“This strong, bipartisan delegation proves the Senate stands united in its support for Ukraine,” the 10 senators said in a joint statement on Thursday. “During our time in Poland and Germany, we will have the opportunity to gain greater insight on the U.S. and NATO response through engagements with top military leaders. We will return with better insight on how Congress can and should continue to support the Ukrainian people and our NATO allies, and see firsthand the heartbreaking humanitarian impact of Putin’s war of aggression.”

The senators heading to the two countries include Sens. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Angus King (I-Maine), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) and Jerry Moran (R-Kansas).  - Lord, as another group of legislators goes abroad, we pray that Your truth will pervade their hearts.  Help them seek Your wisdom for the trials ahead.

- “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5)

6. UN Votes to Establish Ties with Taliban Government in Afghanistan - Newsmax.com
The UN Security Council adopted a resolution Thursday to secure a formal presence in Afghanistan, whose Taliban government remains unrecognized by the international community.

The resolution -- which avoids using the word Taliban -- will allow the UN to continue its "crucial" work in Afghanistan, still reeling after decades of war and whose economy was devastated when the international community cut off aid as the Taliban took power last year.

The vote was 14 in favor, with one abstention, by Russia.

The United Nations has not yet recognized the Taliban's pick of envoy to the body, and the resolution does not give the new government international recognition.

It includes several strands of cooperation, on the humanitarian, political and human rights fronts, including those of women, children and journalists. (Read more)

- Lord, let no actions be undertaken that could cause more suffering for the Christians of Afghanistan. We ask for a move of Your Spirit over them., and a strengthening of faith
.

7.  Putin Begins To Purge His Military And Intelligence Agencies For His Failure In Ukraine. - SOFREP
Following Russia’s failure to invade Ukraine, reports have now surfaced that Russia’s Federal Security Agency (FSB) had been under scrutiny with news of its leaders being interrogated and detained. The news comes as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine enters its third week, with the Russians not being able to take Kyiv as it had been hampered with logistical and morale challenges.

Sources had reported that Sergey Beseda, the head of the FSB’s foreign intelligence branch Fifth Service and his deputy, Anatoly Bolyukh, had been placed under house arrest for providing inaccurate intelligence reports on Ukraine prior to its invasion.

Andrei Soldatov, Russian dissident and co-founder of Agentura, an investigative monitoring website that observes the FSB and other Russian agencies, has said that his inside sources within the FSB have confirmed the detainment of the two high-ranking officers. Exiled Russian human rights activist Vladimir Osechkin also confirmed the reports. According to him, FSB officials searched an additional 20 addresses of Beseda’s colleagues around Moscow who were under suspicion of contacting journalists.

“The formal basis for conducting these searches is the accusation of the embezzlement of funds earmarked for subversive activities in Ukraine,” Osechkin said. “The real reason is unreliable, incomplete and partially false information about the political situation in Ukraine.” (Read more)

Lord, let no innocent person be trapped in this purge. We ask for a flood of Your Spirit over Russia, releasing all from the bondage of Satan’s demonic forces. By the Blood of Jesus and the Power of His Name we pray.

“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)

 8. CDC Removes 24 Percent Of Child COVID-19 Deaths, Blames Coding Error - Zero Hedge
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has removed tens of thousands of deaths linked to COVID-19, including nearly a quarter of deaths it had listed in those under 18 years old.

The health agency quietly made the change on its data tracker website on March 15.
Data on deaths were adjusted after resolving a coding logic error. This resulted in decreased death counts across all demographic categories,” the CDC says on the site.

The CDC relies on states and other jurisdictions to report COVID-19 deaths and acknowledges on its website that the data is not complete.

But the statistics are often cited by doctors and others when pushing for COVID-19 vaccination, including figures who believe virtually all children should be vaccinated. Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director, cited the tracker’s death total in November 2021 while pushing for an expert panel to advise her agency to recommend vaccination for all children 5- to 11-years-old.

Before the change, the CDC listed 1,755 children as dying from COVID-19 along with approximately 851,000 others, according to Kelley Krohnert, a Georgia resident who has been tracking the updates.
The update saw the CDC cut 416 deaths among children and over 71,000 elsewhere, arriving at a total of just under 780,000. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will stop the CDC, Fauci, and all the medical people complicit in this lie. Greed, Money, all of it are at the bottom of the agenda. We ask for a mighty move of Your Spirit to change the direction of these people.

- “But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.” (1 Timothy 6:9)

9. Plains Drought to Curb U.S. Wheat Harvest, Adding to Global Supply Worries -
Ag Web

A worsening drought in the southern U.S. Plains is threatening the region's winter wheat crop just as the Russian invasion of Ukraine dents global supplies.

Some farmers in southwestern Kansas, the top U.S. wheat producing state, have not received much measurable rain or snow since October. Winter wheat is planted in autumn, lays dormant in winter and begins sending up green shoots in spring. Proper soil moisture is critical at this stage for the crop to thrive.

More than half of Kansas was classified as under severe drought or worse as of March 8, the driest conditions since 2018, according to the National Drought Mitigation Center. Severe drought is also covering three-quarters of Oklahoma and more than two-thirds of Texas, both of which also are large wheat producers. (Read more)

- Lord, we take authority over this drought and pray on our faces for You to bring rain to the crops that are in great need.

- “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3)

10. New Iran Agreement Would Let Russia Cash in on $10 Billion Contract To Build Nuclear Sites -  Free Beacon
Russia’s top state-controlled energy company is set to cash in on a $10 billion contract to build out one of Iran’s most contested nuclear sites as part of concessions granted in the soon-to-be-announced nuclear agreement that will guarantee sanctions on both countries are lifted.

Russian and Iranian documents translated for the Washington Free Beacon show that Rosatom, Russia’s leading energy company, has a $10 billion contract with Iran’s atomic energy organization to expand Tehran’s Bushehr nuclear plant. Russia and the Biden administration confirmed on Tuesday that the new nuclear agreement includes carveouts that will waive sanctions on both countries so that Russia can make good on this contract.

"We, of course, would not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation of the JCPOA," State Department spokesman Ned Price confirmed on Tuesday, referring to the original 2015 nuclear accord. Russia’s foreign ministry made a similar statement on Tuesday, saying that "additions were made to the text of the future agreement on JCPOA restoration to ensure that all the JCPOA-related projects, [especially] with Russian participation, as well as Bushehr [nuclear power plant], are protected from negative impact of anti-Russian restrictions" by the United States and European Union.

The removal of these sanctions will provide Moscow’s Rosatom company with a critical source of revenue as American and European sanctions crush Russia’s economy in response to its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. The concessions to Moscow have generated frustration on Capitol Hill, with top Republican leaders accusing the Biden administration of weakening penalties on Russia to secure an agreement with Iran. Moscow has served as the United States' top interlocutor in talks, even as the country’s war machine rolls across Ukraine. The Free Beacon first reported on Tuesday that a policy document circulating among lawmakers exposes how the new nuclear agreement will create a "sanctions evasion hub" for Russian president Vladimir Putin. (Read more)

- Lord, there are ramifications to everything that this administration does, but they don’t see it because they are blinded by their own agenda. We pray that blindness to be removed and repentance to come.

- “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 (Corinthians 4:4)

11. Lawsuit demands Garland's communications with Durham - WND
Dozens of members of the U.S. Senate already have warned Attorney General Merrick Garland not to mess with the investigation of special counsel John Durham, who was tasked with finding the origins of the long-debunked Democrat conspiracy theory that falsely alleged President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign was compromised with "Russia collusion."

Forty-six GOP senators recently wrote a letter to Garland insisting that he respect the independence of Durham's work. They confirmed Durham is uncovering "highly concerning, and potentially criminal, manipulation and exploitation of federal law enforcement resources."

According to a report at Just the News, 46 Republican senators, led by Rick Scott of Florida, wrote a letter to Garland to seek his "assurance" "that you will continue to respect the prosecutorial independence of Special Counsel John Durham and his staff, while also ensuring he is provided all resources necessary to fully, thoroughly, and completely pursue the investigation for which he was appointed." (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that no amount of outside influence will cause Mr. Durham to vary from his task.  Let only truth come from his investigation and let no one at the DOJ interfere.

- “Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” (Ephesians 6:14)
The Daily Jot

The Great Laptop Coverup

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 21, 2022

In October 2020, at least 15 mainstream media personalities said that Hunter Biden’s laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda. They refused to cover the story. Many of those of us who carried the story were censored as providing misinformation. In March 2022, the mainstream media’s coverup was exposed by none other than the New York Times, when it admitted that emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop “were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.” In October 2020, Jen Psaki, then CNN commentator now Joe Biden press secretary, said the “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo.” She still maintains the Russian disinformation narrative, despite proof otherwise.

Let us recall the 87-page Senate report collaborating the information on Hunter’s laptop. The report discussed a $7 million bribe being paid when Joe threatened the Ukraine government over ending its investigation of Hunter’s dealings with the energy company Bursima. The report also confirmed Hunter Biden received $3.5 million from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow, and paid Russians involved with prostitution and human trafficking. There were the 26,000 emails provided Breitbart News by Hunter’s former business partner Bevan Cooney who is in prison. The emails detail how Hunter secured meetings with senior White House officials for Chinese Communist elites—including a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden. The laptop reportedly had video of Hunter using cocaine and having sex with Chinese children. Read More

Pompeo charges Biden's agenda now undermining Israel

Joe Biden's administration has launched an agenda to undermine Israel, the leading democracy in the Middle East and America's staunchest ally on many issues, according to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. In a report published by the American Center for Law and Justice, he charged the Biden administration with "taking steps within the State Department to undermine Israel's democratic legitimacy."

This is happening even as Biden's appointees continue negotiating toward a nuclear deal with Iran, "which would directly imperil Israel's security" and has been opposed even by Iran's Arab neighbors. Explained Pompeo, "Recent reports show that the State Department has released a new grant opportunity, with potential funding of up to $1 million, to 'strengthen accountability and human rights in Israel and the West Bank and Gaza.' As innocuous as that sounds, the reality is the State Department is going to use your taxpayer dollars to support work which slanders Israel and falsely paints it as an apartheid state."

He said the pending grant procedures are "just the latest in a long line of blatant anti-Israel bias among Biden administration hires, particularly in the State Department. Sarah Margon, the current nominee to be assistant secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor – the State Department bureau funding the grant – has shown support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement in the past. BDS operates as an antisemitic, corporate blacklisting of the Israeli state and its people, and is founded on the false, one-sided premise that Israel is actively oppressing Palestinians in the West Bank." (World Net Daily) Read more

- Father, protect Israel from the Biden administration's policies! Raise up more leaders like Pompeo who recognize and take action on the undermining of Israel!

- "Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us." (Isaiah 8:10)

Cyberwarfare Warning
Biden warns of 'evolving intelligence' suggesting possible Russian cyberattacks against the US

President Biden on Monday warned that there is "evolving intelligence" to suggest that the Russian government is exploring options for potential cyberattacks against the United States, amid its multi-front war against Ukraine, and urged the private sector to "immediately" harden "cyber defenses."

In a statement Monday, the president said this is "a critical moment to accelerate our work to improve domestic cybersecurity and bolster our national resilience."

The Biden administration has been warning about the potential for "malicious cyber activity" against the United States by the Russian government—which Biden said could be a response to the "unprecedented economic costs we’ve imposed on Russia alongside our allies and partners. It’s part of Russia's playbook."

"Most of America’s critical infrastructure is owned and operated by the private sector and critical infrastructure owners and operators must accelerate efforts to lock their digital doors," Biden said. " The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has been actively working with organizations across critical infrastructure to rapidly share information and mitigation guidance to help protect their systems and networks."

The president urged private sector partners to "harden your cyber defenses immediately by implementing the best practices we have developed together over the last year."

"You have the power, the capacity, and the responsibility to strengthen the cybersecurity and resilience of the critical services and technologies on which Americans rely," Biden said. "We need everyone to do their part to meet one of the defining threats of our time — your vigilance and urgency today can prevent or mitigate attacks tomorrow." (Fox News)

Senate Holds Supreme Court Nomination Hearings for Ketanji Brown Jackson
Senators Signal Three Issues That Will Define The Ketanji Brown Jackson Hearings

Senators are signaling that they will home in on personal background, criminal sentencing and court-packing during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Jackson, nominated to replace retiring Associate Justice Stephen Breyer, was first appointed to the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C., in 2013 by President Barack Obama. President Joe Biden elevated her to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2021, with Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska joining all 50 Democrats in voting to confirm.

All 22 senators on the Judiciary Committee, including Graham, received 10 minutes to make opening statements Monday. Jackson herself spoke shortly after 3:30 p.m., emphasizing that as a Supreme Court Justice she would “work productively to protect and defend the Constitution.”

“I have been a judge for nearly a decade now, and I take that responsibility and my duty to be independent very seriously,” she said. “I decide cases from a neutral posture. I evaluate the facts, and I interpret and apply the law to the facts of the case before me without fear or favor, consistent with my judicial oath.” (Daily Caller)

- Please make these hearings a matter of serious prayer. Aske that our senators will choose the correct questions, so that any hidden thing about this nominee will come to light, in the end, a wise decision can be made about her nomination. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord." (Prov. 21:30)

Signs & Wonders
Comet is 16 miles wide and it could be heading towards Earth

A comet twice the size of the one that killed the dinosaurs comes dangerously close to Earth every once in a while.

Every year, stargazers get out their telescopes with excitement to watch the Perseids meteor showers in July and August — and Comet Swift-Tuttle is to thank.

The Perseids, which appear to us as beautiful shooting stars lighting up the night sky, is really an enormous stream of space debris that our Earth is periodically passing through.

This stream extends for more than 15 million kilometers (9 million miles) through space and is the product of Comet Swift-Tuttle.

Swift-Tuttle (officially designated 109P/Swift–Tuttle) is a periodic comet that orbits our sun every 133 years.

Comets are “cosmic snowballs of frozen gases, rock and dust,” according to NASA.

They’re made of leftovers from the formation of the solar system.

When a comet approaches the sun, it forms a “tail” made of gas and dust particles that face away from the large star.

Swift-Tuttle was discovered independently by both Lewis Swift and Horace Tuttle in 1862.

There are currently 3,743 known comets in our solar system, but Swift-Tuttle is the most concerning. Read More

'Jesus Means Everything to Me': These US Marines Acknowledge the Importance of Faith for the Fight
To become a United States Marine, you must abide by the core values of honor, courage, and commitment. And for some Marines, faith in God underlies those values, propelling them to accomplish their mission. CBN News traveled to South Carolina to learn about the role of faith in this elite fighting force. "It just feels super honorable to have that title, 'United States Marine'," Jacob Watson told us a couple of days before graduating from U.S. Marine Corps boot camp.

He's following in the footsteps of both his parents. "It's like something I will never forget or take for granted," Watson shared. "Plus, some of the stuff that I've learned was like stuff I never thought I could do. So, it was really a blessing to be able to conquer most of these things that I was afraid about at first, but thanks to the Marine Corps, I was able to do," he continued.

Watson points to his Christian faith for helping him stay the course."Without a doubt, the only, the only way I believe at least I got through this was faith in Christ 'cause a bunch of the stuff, like I said, mentally, was kind of scary and intimidating, but faith, I'll tell you what, it gets you a long ways," he emphasized. It's the same story for others at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. CBN) (Read more)

When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words: Isaac Watts
Music: Lowell Mason

Scripture: May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 6:14

Lyrics:
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
Save in the death of Christ my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson, like a robe,
Spreads o’er His body on the tree;
Then I am dead to all the globe,
And all the globe is dead to me.

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

To Christ, who won for sinners grace
By bitter grief and anguish sore,
Be praise from all the ransomed race
Forever and forevermore.
