Blinken: "Israel's Job No.1 is Protecting, Aiding Gazans
|
|
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday that protecting and aiding residents of Gaza is Israel’s primary mission as it wages war against the Hamas terrorist group.
“We look to the government of Israel to make sure this is a priority. Protecting civilians, getting people the assistance they need—that has to be job No. 1, even as they do what is necessary to defend the country and to deal with the threat posed by Hamas,” the top American diplomat told reporters in Washington after a meeting with his international counterparts on Gaza.
Concern has been mounting in Washington and European capitals about the safety of noncombatants during an Israeli offensive to defeat the final four Hamas battalions concentrated in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah, consisting of roughly 3,000 fighters, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated on Tuesday is essential to winning the war.
“To win this war, we must destroy the remaining Hamas battalions in Rafah. If not, Hamas will regroup, rearm and reconquer Gaza and then we’re back to square one. And that’s an intolerable threat that we cannot accept,” the premier stressed.

Commentary from Bridgeconnector: Let me take a page from history (from the height of WW2) and give you a comparable headline to the one above:
“Truman: Britain’s Job No.1 is Protecting, Aiding German Nazis”. Did President Truman join the side of the Nazis during WW2? Yet, Blinken has the audacity to tell Israel that their number one job is to protect Gazans? Really?
Netanyahu has clearly stated what Israel’s three war goals are: “We will destroy Hamas, free our hostages and ensure that Gaza doesn’t ever pose a threat to Israel again.”
Blinken’s comments are completely the opposite of what Israel’s stated war goals are. It appears that the Biden regime has turned on its head upside-down and is now taking the side of Hamas in this war. Let us not forget that 85% of local Gazans were in support of and very proud of what Hamas did on October 7. Let us not forget that 75% of Gazans voted for and put Hamas into power in Gaza!
This is a war between good and evil, between right and wrong. Blinken and Biden seem to have lost their moral compass: North is now South, evil is now good. It seems they are now taking the side of the Nazi-terrorists in the Strip. (By the way, copies of Mein Kampf have been found in many Gazan homes).

China Actively Preparing for War with United States

In a time when their economy is really struggling, the Chinese are increasing military spending and ramping up preparations for war. But who is China preparing to fight a war with? Needless to say, the answer to that question is obvious.
Yes, the border dispute between India and China could erupt into something significant, but that is not likely. The only other opponent that the Chinese would be fighting a major war with would be the United States. And right now, Chinese shipyards are churning out military vessels at a pace that the U.S. simply cannot match...
The US cannot match the pace of building in the shipyards of Shanghai, which have already turned out two new aircraft carriers with a third expected to begin sea trials soon.
The latest vessel, the Fujian, features catapults to launch heavy, fixed-wing aircraft with immense bomb payloads. These shipyards are also building a new type of amphibious assault vessel, and many roll-on, roll-off ferries, which could have a dual purpose - transporting cars in peacetime, and armored assault vehicles in the event of an attack on a neighbor, such as Taiwan.
Of even greater concern is the vast network of tunnels that the Chinese have been constructing. We are being told that this network of tunnels makes the Hamas tunnels under Gaza "look like holes scooped by children in a sandpit"...
While the West has been scaling back its military spending in favour of welfare and healthcare, China has been building artificial islands as naval bases and airfields. Less obvious but more ominous, it has also been digging a vast network of tunnels and bunkers that make the Hamas warrens in Gaza look like holes scooped by children in a sandpit.
The Chinese tunnels stretch for hundreds of miles and their plans are so closely guarded that Western intelligence agencies have little idea what is down there. Domestic spies in the pay of the West, who have attempted to smuggle out information, have been caught and executed. Nobody knows why China has been putting so much effort into these tunnels.

Great American Eclipse 2024, Jonah & Nineveh: Connecting the Dots

There have been two solar eclipses: The first occurred on August 21st, 2017, and the second one will occur on April 8th, 2024.
It appears that these two eclipses mark a giant “X marks the spot” on America. What does this mean? What might the God of Israel be saying to America?
The Bible tells us that God uses the sun, moon, and stars for “signs and seasons”:
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years… Genesis 1:14
In Bible prophecy, events with the sun represent God’s dealings with gentile nations, and events with the moon represent God’s dealings with Israel.
In 2017, the eclipse crossed over seven cities named Salem in America – a warning to America concerning Jerusalem.
The second eclipse will cross over seven cities named Nineveh in America:
-Nineveh-Texas, Nineveh-Missouri,Nineveh-Indiana, Nineveh-Ohio, Nineveh- Pennsylvania, Nineveh, Virginia, and Nineveh-New York.
What IS the warning to America? Is God’s judgment coming? What does America need to repent of? To decode this warning sign, we need to turn to the book of Jonah to understand Jonah’s message to ancient Nineveh.
This is an urgent call for National Repentance.
Although there are many sins we can repent of, the one national sin that the God of Israel warns about repeatedly is this: He says He will judge the nations for attempting to divide the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. (Joel 3:1-2, Zecharia 12:2-3)
Like ancient Nineveh, I believe America needs to repent for the hand she has had in wielding the knife in her attempts to influence, manipulate, and coerce Israel into dividing the land to make a Palestinian state.

1. Hostage release deal: Hamas submits response, Cabinet to convene - Israel National News
Qatar submitted on Thursday evening an official response on behalf of Hamas which includes a list of demands in response to proposals for a deal to release hostages in exchange for a temporary ceasefire.
The Cabinet will meet on Friday afternoon and discuss Hamas' response to the deal.
A source who was exposed to Hamas’ response told Kan 11 News that "there are reasonable demands and positive progress. An agreement can be reached." (Read more)

2. IDF chief to hold crucial commanders' meeting on future of Gaza war - Jerusalem Post
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi will hold a crucial meeting on Sunday of virtually all of the military’s high command and brigadier generals-division commanders to plot out the future of the war.
Regarding Gaza, where much of the war was over in northern Gaza in early January and in the rest of Gaza other than Rafah, by early February, the focus will be learning lessons for improving in any future operations, even as Hamas is not currently a true security threat.
Addressing the North, there is a more intense focus because there could still be a broader general war in the coming weeks or months. Part of the meeting will be especially focused on preventing Hamas from using Ramadan to cause the IDF to make mistakes that could unnecessarily inflame the region. (Read more)

US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Thursday called on Israel to hold new elections, saying he believed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “lost his way” and was an obstacle to peace in the region.
His comments, which sparked anger and swift condemnation by various figures in Jerusalem, came as gaps between the US and Israel continue to grow over the latter’s prosecution of its war in Gaza against Hamas.

5. IAF strikes Southern Lebanon as air-raid sirens blare in Upper Galilee - JNS
Israeli Air Force jets attacked Hezbollah terrorist targets in Southern Lebanon on Thursday in response to ongoing rocket fire towards the Upper Galilee, the Israel Defense Forces said.
IAF airstrikes targeted terrorist infrastructure in Naqoura on Lebanon’s southern coast, as well as in the village of Yaroun, adjacent to the Israeli community of Dovev in the Upper Galilee.
The military said troops also removed a “threat” in the area of Wadi Hamul, using artillery fire.
Earlier on Thursday, the air force struck Hezbollah assets in the southern town of Kunin, according to the IDF. (Read more)

After a US intelligence assessment concluded that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s rule is vulnerable, a senior Israeli official suggested Washington was attempting to overthrow the war government in Tel Aviv. President Joe Biden has grown increasingly critical of his long-time friend Netanyahu. While the White House has sought to distinguish between support for Israel and its leader, the administration says it will not reduce support for Tel Aviv.
A senior Israeli official slammed the Biden administration in remarks to the Jerusalem Post, saying, "We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel." They added that "Israeli citizens, and not anyone else, elect the prime minister. Republican foreign policy leaders in Congress raised concerns about the waiver earlier this week, the Free Beacon reported, saying that sanctions should not be lifted on the hardline Iranian regime in light of its support for Hamas and other terrorist proxy groups waging war on Israel and American outposts in the region.
While the State Department maintains the funds can only be accessed by Iran to pay for humanitarian supplies, like food and medicine, critics of the sanctions waiver argue that money is fungible, and that the waiver frees up cash for Iran to spend on its global terrorism operations.

5. Gallant in Gaza: IDF Edging Closer to Rafah Invasion, Defense Minister Hints – Jerusalem Post
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant hinted that the IDF is getting closer to invading Rafah, speaking during a Wednesday visit to Gaza City. Gallant entered the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning along with forces from the IDF's 162nd Division. In his visit, Gallant warned that "those who think we are delaying [the invasion of Rafah] will soon see that there is no place we cannot reach. "Our forces can reach any place, and the conclusion is that there is no safe haven for terrorists in Gaza," the defense minister added.

Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan is something, isn’t it? - Lord God, how awful that so many deaths and side-effects could have been prevented had those in power not succumbed to manipulation and control of the data that was at best, equivocal, not to mention the greed of those calling the shots and in cahoots with various employees of Big Pharma. How many institutions demanding compliance with the vaccine mandates had any idea of the lack of testing of the efficacy of these toxic ‘jabs’? Father, we even lost our freedom of speech to question and refute the so-called data.
We pray that all of those responsible for this horror show be brought to trial and held accountable for their deceptions. As appropriate, may damages be awarded to families of the dead, to those with lasting side effects, and to citizens fired for refusing the vaccine. May justice be done and the criminals receive appropriate outcomes. We forgive the criminals, and we ask that You continue to comfort those who mourn and bring healing to those who still suffer physical symptoms. In Yeshua’s mighty name, Amen!

To be perfectly clear: this Daily Jot is not meant to disrespect or demonize members of a political party. It is intended to expose what the leadership of that party historically has done, and is doing. If you are a member of this party, or only vote for candidates of this party, you might want to consider the truth of the party leadership and the intent of their actions. The Democratic Party has, for the better part of its existence, disenfranchised and suppressed votes—while at the same time accused its opponents of the very same. You will hear a lot from Joe Biden and his party leadership about how their opponents are trying to destroy democracy by disenfranchising voters, but look at their very public actions for the truth.
Attorney General Merrick Garland recently pointed to the history of voter suppression after the Civil War, implying it was others, not the Democratic Party, who took violent action against Black Americans to prevent them from voting. And yet today, he claims that ensuring that only eligible voters utilize mail-in votes, banning ballot-stuffing as in the use of drop boxes, and requiring voter identification to prove you are who you say you are, all are efforts to disenfranchise and suppress voting. Garland ignores that there are Constitutional requirements outlining eligibility of voters. By blocking all accountability on voting eligibility, the Democratic Party is disenfranchising the vote of qualified voters.

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.

Keys for Kids launches Mandarin project

Asia (MNN) — Mandarin is the heart language of more than one billion people worldwide. Soon, millions of kids and young adults who use Mandarin at home will have access to the Gospel, thanks to Keys for Kids. Executive Director Greg Yoder says, “We’re in the midst of a campaign to get Keys for Kids and Unlocked into the Chinese language. It’s all being contextualized, and it’s going to be something that isn’t available [right now.]” Keys for Kids is also working on faith-based audio drama programs and developing resources for children’s camps, like Vacation Bible School. “Some of those have already been done, and we’re super excited about the response,” Yoder says.
While mainland China holds the most Mandarin speakers, other hotspots include the United States and Canada, with three million and 450,000 Mandarin users, respectively. That’s precisely where Keys for Kids is heading first. “We want to reach out to North American Chinese churches and provide a resource for first-generation Christians.” A lot of work is left to do, and it comes with a hefty price tag. “We have about a half year of audio production for the Keys for Kids [devotional], and then we need to start completely on the Unlocked teen devotional,” Yoder says. “We need about $50,000 to begin this process.” Most importantly, pray. “We know that Satan hates the work that we’re doing, especially when we talk about youth,” Yoder says. “Secondly, we’re asking people to give generously.
