TO OUR CHPP FAMILY: Please accept my apologies!!

Last week, at the end of the year, I did not sent out an appeal to all of you for help with our finances. I thank you for your understanding, and if you can now release a NEW YEAR'S GIFT to CHPP, it would be MOST appreciated!

You can send your offering online by going here, or if you prefer, checks may be made out to CHPP and sent to: CHPP; P.O. Box 5152, Herndon, VA.

US Supreme Court Could Dismantle Federal Government’s Powers in 2024

With the U.S. Supreme Court slated to return to session on Jan. 8, the second part of the high court’s term could hand down rulings that either curb or expand the federal government’s powers—sometimes known as the administrative state.

Analysts have said that three cases that the high court is hearing related to the federal bureaucracy this term, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) v. Community Financial Services of America, the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) v. Jarkesy, and Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo.

SEC v. Jarkesy

- Abba, the topic of governmental overreach has been in the news since before the Biden regime took office.  It would appear that what the Obama regime had started, the Biden regime is trying to complete.  Both of these Presidents see the world from a position of controlling the people instead of empowering them.  Your intentions have always been to give us freedom to live our lives as you would have us live them.  We ask for your hand to move in the minds and hearts of all the Supreme Court Justices, give them ears to hear you and a heart to understand your heart for America.  We ask for your vision and wisdom to flow into their minds, giving them the picture of the United States as you intended from the foundation of the world.

We decree and declare that satan has no rights to manipulate or change your plans for our nation, in Jesus' name.  We ask you to reveal to your intercessors what is going on in the spirit and to use all of us to take a stand and say, "NOT ON OUR WATCH"!, in Jesus' name.  We ask for satanic plans and purpioses for our land to be torn down and eradicated, in Jesus' name.  We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
        Stand firm, then, and do not let yourself
     be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Harvard President Claudine Gay Resigns Following Plagiarism Allegations, Antisemitism Testimony

Harvard President Claudine Gay has resigned following allegations of plagiarism, a month after testimony before Congress where she refused to state that calling for the genocide of Jews constituted harassment.

In a letter, Ms. Gay said that stepping down “is not a decision I came to easily.”

“It has become clear that it is in the best interests of Harvard for me to resign so that our community can navigate this moment of extraordinary challenge with a focus on the institution rather than any individual,” she wrote.

She took no responsibility for the plagiarism allegations nor the state of campus hatred toward Jews and Israel.

Despite the resignation as university president, Ms. Gay will remain a Harvard faculty member. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Abba, we give you praise and thanksgiving that Ms. Gay has decided to resign as the President of Harvard.  We thank you that the treatment of Jewish students on Harvard's campus has made headlines, revealing the level of contempt and hatred towards your people.  We ask that total truth be brought out by those investigating how this hatefilled attitude was created and allowed to spread across campus, poisoning the minds and hearts of other students.

We ask that every person in leadership, including professors, be held accountable for any part they played in creating or allowing through their silence this type of demonic mindset against Jewish students. We ask for your hand of peace and healing to be on all those who have been hurt and frightened by the marches and the horrible words spoken about them.  Be their strong tower, their protection from these demonic actions and words.   Father God, we ask you to pour out the spirit of conviction across Harvard's campus, reveal to hearts what you think of that type of behavior from anyone  Bring those whose hearts are willing to hear you into a place of asking forgiveness from you and from those students whose lives they disstained.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Rapha, The Lord who Heals.

- "O Lord, oppose those who oppose me.
         Fight those who fight against me."

Judge dismisses three civil counts against Trump, others over death of Jan. 6 Officer Brian Sicknick
DC medical examiner's office found that Brian Sicknick died of 'natural causes'

A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed most of the civil counts against former President Donald Trump and two others in connection with the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick during the U.S. Capitol riots on Jan. 6.

In a 12-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta dismissed three of the five civil counts in a lawsuit filed last January by Sandra Garza, Sicknick's girlfriend.

Garza's lawsuit against Trump and Jan. 6 rioters Julian Khater and George Tanios sought damages from all three men for claims of wrongful death, conspiracy to violate civil rights, and negligence per se based on D.C.'s anti-riot law.

In his ruling Tuesday, Mehta dismissed the wrongful death act count and both negligence per se allegations.

While Mehta dismissed the wrongful death and negligence civil counts against Trump, Garza's claims against the defendants under D.C.'s Survival Act and the conspiracy to violate a civil rights claim will proceed.

The Survival Act allows an individual's legal representative to pursue legal action on their behalf after their death.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Mark Zaid, an attorney representing Garza, said that they are "considering our next step options" to depose Trump.

"We are pleased to see that our lawsuit in pursuit of justice for the late Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died in the aftermath of the January 6th insurrection, has been permitted to continue. We are now considering our next step options, to include deposing former President Trump," Zaid said. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Abba, we are sorry concerning Officer Sicknick's death, our hearts go out to his family.  But, we thank you and give you praise that the judge dismissed 3 of the 5 counts against President Trump.  Lord, we don't have all the information to really understand what President Trump is being charged with, but you do.  We ask you to bring your justice into all court appearances and hearings, that your truth will be brought into the light causing all lies of the enemy to be exposed for what they are.

We ask Holy Spirit to cover and protect President Trump from all legal attacks instigated by satan and his demons, forcing all those empowered by the enemy to fail, to lose face, to be shown as liars, to be exposed as frauds.  Jesus, let your light shine into every corner where darkness hides in our court system, bring forth your Kingdom and restore integrity, righteousness and justice to our courts and to all of our government.  We ask this in the name El Roi, The God Who Sees.

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
            who put darkness for light and light for darkness,
       who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
   Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
            and clever in their own sight."

(Isaiah 5:20-21)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. EU: Must impose an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict - JNS

European Union foreign-policy chief Josep Borrell on Wednesday demanded the international community impose a “solution” to the conflict between Israel and Palestinian terrorists in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip.

“What we have learned over the last 30 years, and what we are learning now with the tragedy experienced in Gaza, is that the solution must be imposed from outside,” Borrell said.

“Peace will only be achieved in a lasting manner if the international community gets involved intensely to achieve it and imposes a solution,” he added, referring to the United States, Europe and Arab countries.

Borrell also described Israel’s alleged targeted killing of Hamas arch-terrorist Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut on Tuesday night as “an additional factor that can cause an escalation of the conflict.” (Read more)

2. Chief of Staff: 'We'll change our routine defense measures' -Israel National News

Among those participating in the assessment were the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin, and the Commanding Officer of the 210th Division, BG Zion Ratzon, along with the brigade and battalion commanders from the reserve units guarding the sector.

"Based on my impressions, we are in a very high state of readiness in the North," Halevi said. "I visit here often. I think our readiness is at its peak. There is a lot of expertise, great capabilities, and high morale. We are in very high readiness in all sectors and we are currently focusing on fighting Hamas."

"This war started at a difficult point. I think we talked about it last time we met, we won't elaborate on it now. But it also creates an opportunity in these very difficult circumstances to create a very significant change to the situation. In the south, in the north, and in terms of general regional stability." 3. In First, Iranian Opposition Leader Addresses Israel’s Parliament, Urging Jewish State to ‘Attack Iran’s Leaders in Tehran’ - Algemeiner

At a meeting of Israel’s parliament, known as the Knesset, discussing the plans for a post-Hamas Gaza on Tuesday, an Iranian opposition leader told Israeli lawmakers that Israel should not hesitate to “attack the heads of the Iranian leadership” in Tehran itself.

The meeting of the Knesset Israel Victory Caucus — which was attended by Vahid Beheshti and Israeli ministers, Knesset members, security officials, and diplomatic leaders — marked the first time an Iranian opposition figure has addressed Israel’s parliament.

Beheshti, who grew up in Iran but now resides in London, is known for his 72-day hunger strike calling for the UK government to categorize Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terror organization. At Tuesday’s meeting, which was jointly hosted with the Israeli Victory Project, Beheshti urged Israel to confront the Iranian government directly. (Read more)

4. URGENT!!! High Court delays implementation of PM recusal law, in 2nd gov’t defeat this week - Times of Israel

In the second major legal defeat this week for the government, the High Court of Justice ruled six to five on Wednesday to postpone the implementation of a controversial law shielding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from being ordered to recuse himself from office by the attorney general or the High Court itself, determining that it had been passed to personally benefit the premier.

The court ruled that the recusal law, an amendment to the quasi-constitutional Basic Law: The Government passed back in March, will now take effect only at the beginning of the next Knesset term, after the next general elections are held.

The majority ruled that the purpose of the recusal law was “clearly personal” in nature due to its stated purpose and timing, and therefore constituted an improper use of the Knesset’s power to pass and amend Israel’s quasi-constitutional Basic Laws. (Read more)

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will depart on Thursday for the Middle East, including a stop in Israel, as the United States continues diplomatic consultations on the Israel-Hamas war, says a senior US official.

Blinken leaves Thursday night “for stops in a number of capitals, including Israel,” the official says. The official provides no further details.

The official, briefing reporters on condition of anonymity, also said US diplomatic envoy Amos Hochstein will also travel to Israel to work to soothe mounting tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. (Read more)

1. Trump appeals Maine ruling barring him from ballot under the Constitution’s insurrection clause - AP News

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday appealed a ruling by Maine’s secretary of state barring him from the state’s primary ballot over his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Trump, the early front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, appealed the Maine decision by Democrat Shenna Bellows, who became the first secretary of state in history to bar someone from running for the presidency under the rarely used Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. That provision prohibits those who “engaged in insurrection” from holding office.

The former president is expected to soon appeal a similar ban by the Colorado Supreme Court. That appeal would go to the U.S. Supreme Court, while Bellows’ action is being appealed to a Maine Superior Court. (Read more)

- Lord we pray for the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court and the judges of the Maine Superior Court as they consider Trump’s appeals. We pray they all have wisdom, sound reasoning, and implement justice. We cover the upcoming primaries–both the presidential and down-ballot races that Christians will faithfully steward their vote.

- “Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power.” (Prov. 8:14)

2. Children are going to pay the price': Christian groups slam Mike DeWine's veto of trans surgery ban - The Christian Post

Christian public policy organizations have derided Republican Gov. Mike DeWine's decision to veto legislation that would have banned sex change surgeries and hormonal interventions for minors struggling with gender dysphoria and barred biological males from female sporting events.

DeWine announced the veto during an end-of-year media briefing on Thursday, where he said he could not support Substitute House Bill (HB68), which includes the Save Women's Sports Act and the SAFE (Saving Adolescents From Experimentation) Act.

"Ultimately, these tough, tough decisions should not be made by the government. They should not be made by the state of Ohio," said DeWine. "They should be made by the people who love these kids the most, and that's the parents."  (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we pray for the children who are confused about their gender and deceived by the promise that harming their bodies will heal their distress. Help us to reach them and their parents with the truth about how You created them. We praise You for the laws that have been passed to protect them and pray for more in the coming years.

- “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:14)

3. Concerned about border crisis, lawmakers urge Biden to take action - Border Report

Concerns around the border grow, as Republicans continue to call on the president to act. A group of Republicans are heading to the border this week as they push to impose stricter policies.

The U.S. tried to raise pressure on Mexico’s president to do something about the mass wave of migrants coming through Mexico. But Republicans want more from President Joe Biden.

“Life along the border has turned upside down,” said U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas.
Gonzales said he will host a group of about 60 Republicans this week to visit the border.
“I believe in legal immigration. I believe most of America believes in legal immigration, but what we’re seeing is not that, this is chaos,” he added.
Many Republicans have criticized Biden for vacationing in St. Croix as the border crisis continues. Texas Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar says the president needs to act. (Read more)

-  Lord Jesus, we mourn the chaos caused by the border crisis. Help our elected officials seek Your wisdom and take action to do what is right for our nation and for the people. Let our laws be justly enforced. Rescue the victims being exploited by the cartels. Be with law enforcement officers dealing with this crisis every day. In Your name, Jesus, amen.

-and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15)

4. Biden Floods Small Wisconsin Town with 1,000 Migrants - Breitbart

President Joe Biden’s migration has flooded almost 1,000 poor Latino migrants into the poor college town of Whitewater, Wisconsin, according to a plea by the city’s police department.

“Their arrival has put great strains on our existing resources, ” says the letter to Biden by the city manager and police chief of the 15,000-person city:

Communicating with an immigrant population that generally speaks only Spanish has been a challenge we’ve worked to overcome by the use of costly translation software. We have found approximately three times the number of unlicensed drivers on our roadways compared to previous years. This occupies much of their time and takes away from our ability to serve in other aspects. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for your mercy and your grace for this particular town, and all towns, dealing with this influx of illegal migrants. Lord, we just pray for our elected officials that they would come up with a better plan on how to take care of these immigrants. In addition, we pray that they would take action and secure our borders, choosing to serve the American people first, the people that elected these officials to protect them, as their number one priority. In Jesus' name, amen.

“Help me, O Lord my God! Save me by Your loving-kindness.  Let them know that this is Your hand and that You, O Lord, have done it.” (Psalm 109:26-27)

5. More than 100 killed in 'terrorist attacks' near tomb of Iranian Guards' Soleimani - Reuters

Two explosions killed more than 100 people and wounded scores at a ceremony in Iran on Wednesday to commemorate top commander Qassem Soleimani who was killed by a U.S. drone in 2020, Iranian officials said, blaming unspecified "terrorists".

Iranian state television reported a first and then a second blast during a crowded anniversary event at the cemetery where Soleimani is buried in the southeastern city of Kerman.

An unnamed official told state news agency IRNA that "two explosive devices planted along the road leading to Kerman's Martyrs' Cemetery were detonated remotely by terrorists".
State television said that at least 103 people had been killed and 211 others injured, making it one of the worst such attacks in Iran, which has faced similar incidents in the past from various groups, including Islamic State. (Read more)

- Lord God, we lift up all people who have been hurt by this tragedy, and we ask that you supernaturally provide and help them in the name of Jesus. As the corporate body of Christ, we continue to push back the darkness in the Middle East, and we continue to come against all division, strife, plots, schemes and plans of the enemy to create a hostile living environment and war, in Jesus name. Amen.

- “Through you we push back our enemies;
through your name we trample our foes. I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies,
you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever.” (Psalm 44:5-8)

6. US House panel to hold Mayorkas impeachment hearing January 10 - Reuters

A Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives committee next week will advance an effort to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over allegations he has been derelict in his duty of managing the U.S.-Mexico border, the committee announced on Wednesday.

The House Homeland Security Committee will hold a hearing on Jan. 10 related to the impeachment allegations with witnesses to be announced in the coming days, it said in a press release. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson approved the effort, his office said.

Republicans have slammed Democratic President Joe Biden over border control as record numbers of migrants have been caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally, with criticism focused on Mayorkas, Biden's top border official. Republicans blame Biden for rolling back some restrictive border policies of Republican former President Donald Trump, his party's leading candidate to challenge Biden in the November presidential election. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that this impeachment would be a success and that responsibility and accountability would be had for our officials who have destroyed local communities and towns with this influx of immigrants. It has hurt our economy, our safety, our security, and our resources, and we just pray that justice would be done in this situation. We pray, Lord, that immigrants who are coming to America for a better life would be encouraged to come legally, and that our legal immigration system would be quick and swift to work for the people who really need help, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Psalm 125:1)

7. House GOP leaders close ranks around Trump as No. 3 Republican reveals 2024 support - Fox News

Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., the No. 3 House Republican, is backing former President Trump to take back the White House in 2024. Trump is now heading into the Jan. 15 Iowa caucus with the support of every senior House GOP leader.

"Democrats have made clear they will use every tool in their arsenal to try and keep Joe Biden and his failed policies in power," Emmer said in a statement on Wednesday. "We cannot let them."
He added, "It’s time for Republicans to unite behind our party’s clear frontrunner, which is why I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President."

Emmer released another statement later Wednesday morning leading Minnesota’s GOP House delegation which, in addition to him, includes Reps. Michelle Fischbach and Pete Stauber, in endorsing Trump.
It comes a day after House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., also threw his support behind Trump. (Read more)

- Lord, we thank you for leaders using their position and their voice all over the United States to stand up for righteousness and justice. We thank you that these leaders are bold and speaking out about what America needs as a president in 2024. We pray, Lord, that your people everywhere all over this country would agree and use their vote and their voice to stand up for what is right in 2024. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

8. GOP Sen. Cotton endorses Trump: 'It's time to get our country back on track' - Just The News

Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton on Wednesday endorsed former President Donald Trump's 2024 bid to return to the White House.
"When Donald Trump was president, America was safe, strong, and prosperous.

The economy was booming, working-class wages were growing, our border was secure, and our enemies feared us," Cotton posted on X.
"With Joe Biden as president, everything has gone to hell: families can’t afford groceries, our border is wide open to a full-blown invasion, and our enemies are starting wars everywhere," he continued.

“I endorse President Trump and I look forward to working with him to win back the White House and the Senate so we can help hardworking Arkansans suffering from Joe Biden’s disastrous policies. It’s time to get our country back on track." (Read more)

- We thank you, Lord for these influential leaders, standing up for what is right and being bold for the truth. We come against all tactics of the enemy to silence Americans' voices in 2024. We continue to believe and stand together in faith that our country will get back on track, and that it will be prosperous, free, righteous and just again, in Jesus' name. Amen!

Stupidocrisy: Saying Something Is Something It Isn’t

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 3, 2023

The Bible suggests that the mature constantly train their senses to discern good from evil (Hebrews 5:14). This is so very important. Society is constantly bombarded with conflicting claims. One example: There is no end to the government-sponsored commercials urging COVID booster shots. But there are now hundreds of studies proving that these shots are detrimental to your health and do not outweigh the risk of COVID. In fact, the government still says the COVID serums are both safe and effective. It was known very early on in the COVID pandemic that the shots did not prevent COVID and there were many terrible side effects. But the propaganda still is claiming what it claims. But wait. There’s more.

On December 28, Secretary of State Antony Blinken posted a photo essay about his travels around the world in 2023, titled “Portraits of Diplomacy: 2023 A Photographic Journey with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken.” Taking a victory lap for his perceived success as America’s chief ambassador, he introduced the essay on X (formerly Twitter) saying: “As I reflect on the miles traveled, countries visited, and intense diplomacy over the past year, I am proud of our work to build stronger partnerships and strengthen global peace and security.” But the problem here is that since Blinken and Biden took over there has been major wars in Ukraine and Israel, and Islamic nations are taking pot shots at the American military throughout the Middle East. North Korea is also rattling its sabers. He’s claiming credit for peace when there is no peace. Read More

Harvard must rid itself of ‘cultural rot’ in wake of Gay resignation, says advocate for Jewish students
University leaders urged to 'fix the deeper cultural rot' at Harvard after president's resignation

Following the resignation of Harvard President Claudine Gay, the CEO of a pro-Israel student-focused organization told Fox News Digital that the university must commit to remedying antisemitism and ridding the school of "cultural rot" when a new president is hired.

"Harvard’s leadership doesn’t just have a plagiarism problem. It has a moral problem. Many of Harvard’s students and faculty don’t see what’s wrong with Hamas or its brutal murders and rapes of Israelis. The next leader of Harvard needs to fix the deeper cultural rot at that once great university," Israel On Campus Coalition (ICC) CEO Jacob Baime told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

"Not only do Harvard students and faculty cheer the murder of Israelis, they have made life unbearable and unsafe for Jewish students and faculty on the Harvard campus," he said, noting that the ICC describes itself as an organization that works to inspire American college students and pro-Israel college groups to "see Israel as a source of pride and empower them to stand up for Israel on campus."

Gay came under fierce condemnation last month after she and the presidents of the University of Pennsylvania and MIT appeared before Congress and were grilled about their handling of antisemitism on their respective campuses. Simultaneously, the Harvard chief battled accusations of repeated plagiarism, including claims that she plagiarized almost 20 authors in four of her 11 peer-reviewed academic papers, including her doctoral dissertation. - Abba, our hearts are broken by the way Jewish students at Harvard, UPenn, and MIT are treated by faculty and students.  The US has lost its moral compass, and our college campuses are hotbeds of Socialism, Communism and many "isms" including antisemitism!  Jesus, we have lost our bearings, we have lost our way, we have lost sight of the one thing our forefathers said was required for this "social experiment" called democracy to work, and that is YOU.  Again and again they said, without Almighty God guiding our behaviors and decisions, this experiment would fail!  Sadly we are proving them right.  Father God we need you.  We need to recommit ourselves and our nation to follow after your teachings and your heart.  We need to become bold in declaring your lordship over our lives and over our nation.  Lord, help us.  This list of "need tos" could go on.

Father God, please forgive us for allowing your presence to be pushed out of our society, out of our country.  We ask you to do what you know needs to be done to restore us to you.  Give us the grace to allow you to make the changes that you know must be made for our country to survive as the Christian nation you created.  We ask for boldness to speak what you ask us to speak, to be obedient even when it hurts, to be a people who stand against evil when we recognize it, to be willing to be mocked, made fun of, persecuted,...even as we have allowed Jewish students to be mocked and persecuted.  Jesus, we are not able to help ourselves unless you once again become the source of our actions and decisions,  Help us, we pray........in the mighty, powerful name Jesus.

- "The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
            he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
   But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
           the purposes of his heart through all

   Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
          the people he chose for his inheritance."

Biden to sharpen attack on Trump in Jan. 6 anniversary speech

Jan 3 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden will mark the third anniversary of the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S Capitol with a political speech near the historic Revolutionary War site in Valley Forge, where he will make the case that Donald Trump poses an existential threat to democracy, his reelection campaign said on Wednesday.

The stop, near the Pennsylvania war encampment where George Washington established headquarters during the Revolutionary War, will be followed by a campaign visit on Monday to Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where a white supremacist in 2015 killed nine parishioners at the historic Black church. In South Carolina, which Democrats moved to the front of the presidential primary calendar this election cycle after Black voters there helped Biden clinch the nomination in 2020, Biden will focus on what the campaign described as rising threats of political violence.

Taken together, the two visits will represent Biden's most direct public attacks so far in the 2024 race on top Republican rival Trump and the party he controls, and mark a shift in tone after Biden spent much of 2023 touting his signature legislation and the economy.

"The choice for voters next year will not simply be between competing philosophies of governing. The choice for the American people in November 2024 will be about protecting our democracy and every American's fundamental freedoms," said Biden campaign manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez. (Reuters) Read more here.

- Father God, we knew that the year ahead would be a challenge, but this is ridiculous. For Biden to state that Trump has overturned our national heritage is an outright lie; and we as Your people, will not stand for this.

Lord God, we call forth a national outpouring of outrage against this lying campaign, speaking forth instead the TRUTH that Donald John Trump is a true patriot whose heart only wants to serve our nation and to bring us back to our true destiny: one that proclaims FREEDOM for ALL!

Save us, O Lord, we pray. and bring us back to You, through repentance in Your name, amen and amen!

The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness."

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

NASA’s most high-risk endeavor in decades and other boundary-pushing space missions planned for 2024
From robotic lunar landers perusing the surface to an astronaut flyby, 2024 could be the year NASA makes its big return to the moon.

(CNN) — The year ahead promises to deliver some spectacular pursuits, pushing human and scientific exploration of the cosmos further than it’s gone in decades.

The visions are grand: NASA plans to send astronauts on a lunar fly-by mission that will travel deeper into the solar system than anyone has ventured in more than 50 years.

The US space agency and its allies are mapping out ways to establish a permanent settlement, while countries including Russia and China are chasing similar dreams. And some of the world’s richest people continue to chase their extraterrestrial ambitions.

Meanwhile, science-focused missions are enhancing the collective understanding of our universe faster than ever before as we enter a golden age of academic research.

Missions intended to explore the potential habitability for life on ice-covered ocean worlds in our solar system and to survey the aftermath of a spacecraft intentionally ramming into an asteroid are expected to launch this year. And one research team even wants to test the feasibility of biological materials used in space exploration and launch a wooden satellite.

Here’s a look at the exciting moments ahead in 2024. Read More

The Good News Corner
Veteran US Special Operators Aid Israeli Counterparts During Hamas War
WASHINGTON – From the board room to the battlefield, a network of retired U.S. special operators – connected during a business program – are now working to help their Israeli counterparts get the support and supplies they need to take down Hamas.  Version Bravo is an entrepreneurship program designed to bring together retired U.S. and Israeli Navy SEALS and help them translate their unique military skills into the business world. But when Israel went to war, the relationships formed by these special operators have proven to be invaluable.  Version Bravo's Global Director Nuri Golan tells CBN News, "We have different channels where guys can communicate with one another where everyone used it a little bit differently. Some guys chose to update on a weekly basis or a monthly basis saying, 'Hey, this is what happened this week. Just checking in want to let you guys know,' or,  'Hey, I need help connecting to this type of company or an investor that invests in this space.'"

After October 7th, Golan, a retired Israeli Navy SEAL himself, noticed a shift. Business networking went on the back burner, and the training that developed as special operators resurfaced. Golan said, "I got texts from almost every single alumni who was asking how can I help from you know, from like helping with equipment to doing things a lot like wanting to come and actually physically be there and help out in the country." Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Rory Graman heard Israel needed night vision goggles. With the supplier only an hour away, he jumped in the car and personally tested them out. "Those guys are letting us know that hey, you know, 'we're getting deployed' to like 'we're in Gaza' or 'we're looking for this help,' and there's no hesitation on any of the U.S. guys' part to try to help out however they can," Graman said. Nathan Wilkins, also a retired U.S. SEAL, believes the bond with his Israeli counterparts goes deeper than just shared military experience. "You know we're praying for each other, we're you know, encouraging each other and supportive when they need it," Wilkins said. (CBN) Read More>

- Father, we Thank You for 'Version Bravo' which has brought unity and deep-connection between retired U.S. and Israeli Navy Seals for such a time as this! May this business community bring amazing testimonies of Your promised faithfulness. We ask in the Name of Jesus that miraculous provision of every need be supplied for Israel and the IDF military. May reconciliation continue between Jews and Christians bringing GLORY to our God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the saving knowledge of Yeshua to all! In the powerful Name of Jesus Christ- Amen

- "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19)
Thought for the Day
“The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayers, but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”       (1 Peter 3:12)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Psalm 29:2

Lyrics:
Down at the cross where my Savior died,
Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His name!

Refrain
Glory to His name, glory to His name:
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today, and be made complete;
Glory to His name!

Refrain
