Donald Trump wins New Hampshire primary after record GOP voter turnout
Trump continues to hold commanding lead over Haley

Eight days after he crushed the competition in Iowa's low-turnout Republican presidential caucuses, former President Donald Trump quickly defeated former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley — his final remaining major rival for the GOP nomination — in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.

Fox News projected Trump would win the primary just a few minutes after the final polls closed in New Hampshire. The primary saw record turnout despite some reports that low energy among voters would depress the vote.

Here's a snapshot of where the battle to lead the Republican Party stands.

- Abba, we thank you that your son, Donald, won the New Hampshire primary election over Nikki Haley.  We thank you that it was won because of the strong Republican voter turnout.  Father God, we are asking for unity to break out not only within the Republican party but bring independent voters and disillusioned Democrats as well, bring all those together that you have chosen to stand behind President Trump.  We thank you that you are raising up Americans from all walks of life to hear your voice and pray for your son.  We thank you that not only do you have a good plan for his life, but you have a good plan for the US as well.  We ask for continued angelic intercession for all the upcoming primaries.  We dispatch legions of your worshiping angels to stand with your earthly intercessors in worship as warfare against all the demonic plans of the enemy.  Teach us how to use our worship and praise to come against any demonic plans that you reveal to us, keep us low before you Jesus, keep us from any pride or arrogance in what we see or say.  Remind us that our words have power both for good AND evil.  We ask this in the name Yahweh Missi, The Lord our Banner, where banner is understood to be a rallying place.  This name commemorates the desert victory over the Amalekites.

- "Be completely humble and gentle;
         be patient, bearing with one
     another in love.
   Make every effort to keep the unity
          of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

Ex-Obama official tells Biden to 'stay hidden' since he 'doesn't inspire confidence'
Ex-Obama official Van Jones said there is 'something wrong' with Biden's campaign

CNN commentator and ex-Obama official Van Jones advised President Biden on Tuesday to hide from the public, just like he did in the 2020 campaign, because he is not a good public communicator.

"If I were Biden, I would stay hidden," Jones said. "I will tell you why. He doesn’t inspire confidence. He is not a great messenger for himself."

Jones then criticized the president's campaign, arguing that while Biden has "done a tremendous job for this economy," he should be letting other people speak on his behalf. "Union members, union leaders are racking up win after win," he said. "They should be put forward. There are clean energy executives in red states that are putting people to work."

"There’s something wrong with this campaign where we are somehow expecting Joe Biden — frankly, he hid during the last campaign — to just somehow come out and be Flash Gordon and save his own campaign," Jones continued. "The people who are benefiting from the Biden economy — and they exist — should be empowered to speak."

Jones briefly served as a special adviser to President Obama on green jobs before resigning in 2009.

Former Obama official David Axelrod also weighed in on Biden's campaign during the panel discussion on CNN, predicting that his possible rematch with former President Trump will be "trench warfare."

"They will spend more time talking about Donald Trump than Joe Biden, and he will be spending a lot of time talking about Joe Biden," Axelrod said. (Fox News) Read more.

- Abba, we thank you that Van Jones, a ex-Obama official, told Joe Biden to "hide" because he does not present himself well.  Lord, your word says that everything that is hidden will be revealed, so we thank you that all the things the Democratic Deep State wants to hide about Joe Biden and his intentions will, in fact, be brought into the light.  We ask that every lie that has been spoken by the Biden regime be exposed and truth will expunge that information and replace it, in Jesus' name.  We ask you to raise up a cry from the Democrats themselves, demanding that Joe Biden "stop hiding' as he did in the last election, and come out so people can see who and what they are voting for, in Jesus' name.  We ask you to work behind the scenes to reveal who in the Biden regime is truly making the decisions, that nothing and no one will be allowed to remain hidden, it will be front page headlines, in Jesus' name.  We ask this in the name El Roi, the God who sees everything.

"But the Lord is in his holy Temple;
         the Lord still rules from heaven.
    He watches everyone closely,
         examining every person on earth."

Emergencies Act: Federal Court Rules Invocation Against Freedom Convoy ‘Unreasonable,’ Unjustified
A federal judge has declared that the invocation of the Emergencies Act in response to the Freedom Convoy protest was “unreasonable” and that related regulations infringed on Canadians’ charter rights.

“I have concluded that the decision to issue the Proclamation does not bear the hallmarks of reasonableness – justification, transparency and intelligibility – and was not justified in relation to the relevant factual and legal constraints that were required to be taken into consideration,” wrote Justice Richard Mosley in a Jan. 23 decision.

The judge said while he had initially believed the Emergencies Act invocation was justified in response to an “unacceptable breakdown of public order,” arguments by the Canadian Constitution Foundation and Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms led him to see otherwise.

The two civil liberties organizations had argued in court that the Liberal government did not meet the legal threshold to invoke the legislation in response to the protest. They supported lawsuits filed by five plaintiffs who participated in the protest, two of whom had their bank accounts frozen as a result of the Emergencies Act.

The Freedom Convoy protest was started in response to a mandate requiring COVID-19 vaccination for truck drivers crossing the Canada–U.S. border, and resulted in encampments of trucks in the nation’s capital. The protest evolved into a larger movement against pandemic mandates and restrictions, with similar protests being held at several Canada-U.S. border crossings.

In response to the protests, the federal government ultimately invoked the Emergencies Act on Feb. 14, which gave law enforcement expanded powers to arrest demonstrators, freeze the bank accounts of some protestors, and require towing companies to remove protesters’ vehicles from Ottawa’s downtown core. This latter power was not used, according to evidence presented during the Public Order Emergency Commission. (Epoch Times) Read more
- Abba, we give you thanks and praise that Canadian Justice Richard Mosley, stated that the use of the Emergencies Act in response to the Freedom Convoy in Canada was unreasonable and unjustified!  Thank you for answering the prayers of so many of your kids in Canada who have been calling to you for justice!.  We ask that the appeal, spoken of by the Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, also be denied based on the findings of Justice Mosley.  We ask for you to fight for all people in Canada, giving them back the freedom's that you died to give them.  I ask Holy Spirit to move across Canada binding up hearts of despair, touching those in hope deferred, and pouring out the spirit of Hope, reminding them of your faithfulness.  Pour out your presence wherever those called by your name come together to praise and worship you, let that presence be tangible.  We decree and declare today that the socialist government in power will be brought down in Canada's next elections, that truth, righteousness and freedom will be the hallmark of the new government elected.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.

- "For the Lord is the Spirit, and
           wherever the Spirit of the
      Lord is, there is freedom."

Troops from the 7th Brigade and the Yahalom Unit operated in a strategic and central terrorist stronghold in Khan Yunis. The stronghold was established by Hamas in the heart of a residential neighborhood, adjacent to two local schools.

The 21 Israel Defense Forces soldiers who were killed in a Hamas RPG attack in the Gaza Strip on Monday fell on a mission to enable the safe return of civilians to devastated Israeli communities near the border, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzl Halevi said on Tuesday.

5. EU threatens ‘consequences’ for Israel’s opposition to Palestinian state -JNS

E.U. diplomats said on Monday in Brussels that a two-state solution is the only credible path to peace between Israel and the Palestinians, after earlier threatening “consequences” if Israel continued to oppose the plan.

“We have to stop talking about the peace process and start talking about the two-state solution process,” Josep Borrell, the E.U.’s high representative for foreign affairs, told press at a meeting of the Council of the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council.

A document circulating in European capitals ahead of Monday’s meeting called for E.U. members to “set out the consequences they envisage to attach to engagement or non-engagement” with their proposed plan—the two-state solution. (Read more)

1. Abortion-rights opponents brave snow for March for Life rally - The Hill

Thousands of opponents of abortion rights gathered on a snow-covered National Mall Friday to participate in the 51st annual March for Life, headlined by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.). The participants gathered for the largest anti-abortion event in the country under the theme “With every woman, for every child.”

Johnson and House Pro-Life Caucus Chair Chris Smith (R-N.J.) focused their speeches on
two anti-abortion bills that passed the House Thursday, focused on funding and protecting “pregnancy centers,” which aim to help mothers and prevent abortions.

“Tragically, President Biden, the abortion president, has weaponized the entire federal bureaucracy to aggressively promote abortion on demand,” Smith said.
“The Biden administration and some governors and lawmakers, including in the House and Senate, continue to smear and misrepresent the noble work of pregnancy care centers,” Smith said. “We can’t let that happen either.” (Read more)

- Lord, thank you for the tens of thousands of people across this nation who publicly showed their commitment to stand for life. We pray for a continued energy to advocate for and protect life despite the enormous push and pressure to celebrate death. We boldly pray for those in office who advocate for abortion as “freedom” and “healthcare” to see the truth and change their ways.
- “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18)

2. The 50 Countries Where It’s Hardest to Follow Jesus in 2024 - Christianity Today

Almost 5,000 Christians were killed for their faith last year. Almost 4,000 were abducted.
Nearly 15,000 churches were attacked or closed.
And more than 295,000 Christians were forcibly displaced from their homes because of their faith.

Sub-Saharan Africa—the epicenter of global Christianity—remains the epicenter of violence against followers of Jesus, according to the 2024 World Watch List (WWL). The latest annual accounting from Open Doors ranks the top 50 countries where it is most dangerous and difficult to be a Christian.

Overall, 365 million Christians live in nations with high levels of persecution or discrimination. That’s 1 in 7 Christians worldwide, including 1 in 5 believers in Africa, 2 in 5 in Asia, and 1 in 16 in Latin America. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we remember our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted today for following You. We are thankful for our religious liberty that we have today to freely follow you. We pray Lord, that as we vote, we remember that when we support religious liberty, its ripple effects are far beyond just our country, but helps other countries as well. We pray for the leaders in America and in other countries to let Your people lead godly lives and share the gospel. But if they do not, give us the courage to be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refusing to worship anyone or anything besides You, no matter the cost. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

- “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” (Hebrews 13:3)

3. Biden: It’s ‘clear’ Trump will be Republican nominee - The Hill

After former President Trump secured a win in the GOP primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, President Biden set his sights on a 2020 presidential rematch.

“It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee. And my message to the country is the stakes could not be higher. Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms — from the right to choose to the right to vote. Our economy — which has seen the strongest recovery in the world since COVID. All are at stake,” Biden said in a Tuesday message to voters.

While Biden didn’t appear on the ballot in the Granite State, he nonetheless won the Democratic primary, with more than half of the state’s voters writing in his name on their ballots. He thanked voters for the “historic demonstration” of commitment to democracy and urged independent voters and Republicans to “join us as Americans.” (Read more)

4. U.S. strikes Iranian-backed militias in Iraq over wave of attacks on American forces - CBS News

The U.S. military on Tuesday struck targets in Iraq, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin said in a statement, in retaliation for attacks Iranian-backed militias have been launching against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria — including one Saturday in Iraq involving missiles that the Pentagon said was one of the "larger-scale" attacks yet on a U.S. base.

"Today, at President Biden's direction, U.S. military forces conducted necessary and proportionate strikes on three facilities used by the Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah militia group and other Iran-affiliated groups in Iraq," Austin's statement said. "These precision strikes are in direct response to a series of escalatory attacks against U.S. and coalition personnel in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-sponsored militias."

The strikes "targeted KH headquarters, storage, and training locations for rocket, missile, and one-way attack UAV capabilities," U.S. Central Command said in a statement Tuesday. (Read more)

5. Military Plane Crashes in Russia, Killing All Onboard, Moscow Says - The New York Times

A large Russian military transport plane crashed on Wednesday in the Belgorod region near the border with Ukraine killing everyone onboard, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement, accusing Ukraine of shooting down the plane with missiles.

The Defense Ministry said that the plane had been carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war who were being transferred to the region from a military airport near Moscow to be exchanged for Russian service personnel. It accused Ukrainian forces of launching two missiles from the nearby Kharkiv region of Ukraine that struck the aircraft. The plane was also carrying six crew members and three other individuals, the ministry said.

The Russian claims could not be independently verified. Officials in Kyiv did not comment directly on Moscow’s accusations that Ukraine shot down the plane but the military’s general staff headquarters issued a statement Wednesday afternoon asserting a right to target Russian military transport airplanes in the border region. 6. Texas Gov. Abbott blasts Feds, releases statement on Texas right to self-defense amid border showdown - DML News

The battle over the U.S. border, between the Biden administration and the State of Texas, is getting HOT, after the Supreme Court’s shocking ruling that allows Biden’s DHS to remove the razor wire Texas military officials had installed along the border.

Wednesday afternoon, Texas Governor Greg Abbott released a statement, reminding the federal government of Texas’s constitutional right to self-defense.

The full statement reads as follows: “The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States. The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now. President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even
violated them. The result is that he has smashed records for illegal immigration…” (Read more)

We thank you that these leaders are bold and speaking out on what is affecting, not only Texans but also Americans in regards to our immigration system. We pray Lord that other leaders and citizens all over the United States, would rally behind Texas for the right to defend their land in Jesus name amen.

- “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

7. Voters share top running mate choices for Trump if elected: 'It has to be someone younger' - Fox News

Voters in New Hampshire shared who they'd like to see as former President Trump's running mate for the 2024 election. "It has to be someone younger, a lot younger," Kate from Maine told Fox News. "He’s old. [President] Biden’s old. The number two is really important in this election."

Biden, 81, is the oldest sitting president to serve, while Trump, 77, previously held the record. "It really doesn’t matter to me, but as long as it's somebody who supports the main person, then that's most important," Irene from Massachusetts said of Trump's potential running mate

Some voters were more decisive about their would-be vice presidents. One New Hampshire voter, Diane, hopes Trump will choose his rival candidate, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. “I think she would balance [Trump]," Diane said. "She would offset his craziness." (Read more)

- Lord, we just cover all voters who will be voting in this important election in 2024 in the blood of Jesus. We pray that every single voter would have eyes to see and ears to hear at what you’re saying, Lord that we would vote in accordance and agreement with your word, your truth and your justice in Jesus name. And we just declare that your pick God would win out in 2024 in Jesus name amen.

8. Arizona GOP Chairman Jeff DeWit accuses Kari Lake of leaking alleged bribery recording in resignation letter - Washington Examiner

Arizona Republican Party Chairman Jeff DeWit announced he would step down as head of the party after audio of him allegedly attempting to bribe Kari Lake to not run for Senate was released on Tuesday. The audio featured DeWit asking Lake what price she would take not to enter the Senate race, in which she is now running. Lake said DeWit should resign in the aftermath of the leak.

DeWit announced on Wednesday that he would be stepping down in a lengthy statement accusing Lake of leaking the recording herself.
“In light of the recent revelation that Kari Lake has released a selectively edited audio recording of our private conversation, I must clearly address this deceptive tactic. The recording, from over ten months ago, is not only taken out of context but also undermines the integrity of private discussions critical for party leadership,” DeWit said.

He accused Lake of selectively editing the recording of the conversation. He said he thought it was “an open, unguarded exchange between friends in the living room of her house” where DeWit believed he “was offering a helpful perspective to someone I considered a friend.” (Read more)

- Lord God, we thank you for exposing this situation because we know it happens in Washington every single day to try to control and manipulate United States citizens. It happens on both sides of the aisle. And we come against bribery and manipulation and control right now in Jesus name, and we commanded to cease and desist in its maneuvers.

- “The wicked accepts a bribe in secret to pervert the ways of justice.”          (Proverbs 17:23)

9. Breaking: Arizona GOP Chair Resigns in Wake of Kari Lake Bribery Allegations - The Epoch Times

The chairman of the Arizona Republican Party said he resigned from his role on Jan. 23 after a recording of him was leaked that apparently showed him offering U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake money to stay out of that race.

In his resignation statement, Jeff DeWit suggested that Ms. Lake’s team allegedly secretly recorded their conversation before leaking it to the media. He also accused her team of threatening to release more recordings, which he described as being taken out of context, although he provided few details.

“I said things I regret, but I realize when hearing Lake’s recording that I was set up,” Mr. DeWit said in a statement. “I believe she orchestrated this entire situation to have control over the state party and it is obvious from the recording that she crafted her performance responses with the knowledge that she was recording it, intending to use this recording later to portray herself as a hero.”

He said the recording and release of the audio was tantamount to a “deceptive tactic” and said it was a “selectively edited audio recording.”

“This is all such a distraction to that mission that I am doing as Ms. Lake wishes and am stepping down as Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party,” he said. (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray that Jeff DeWit, who now serves as the Chairman of the Republican Party in the State of Arizona, is following Your will and not his own as he makes this decision.. We ask that the one who will follow him in this position of authority will be graced with Your wisdom, step by step. Lord God, we want only Your will to govern the State of Arizona, as all the other 49 states in this great nation. Help us, O Lord, we pray, amen and amen!

A time for every purpose under heaven:"

Stupidocrisy: When Double-Mindedness Turns Deadly

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 24, 2024

In February 2021, One of Joe Biden’s first acts was to revoke the Trump-era Houthis terrorist designation and redesignate them as a humanitarian organization. Then he started giving them millions of dollars in humanitarian aid, knowing full well the Houthis reputation for diverting such money for terrorist activities. In fact, a USAID official told ABC News in March 2021 that Biden’s move would open up some $50 million to flow to the Houthis. Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the Administration was well aware that the Houthis have a reputation for diverting humanitarian aid for terrorist use, but expected the Houthis to abide by new commitments of use restrictions made to the international community.

The Houthis, also known as “Ansarallah,” came to power in Yemen during the Obama-supported Arab Spring uprisings that destabilized much of the Middle East in favor of terrorist-supporting governments. The Houthi slogan is “Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse the Jews, Victory for Islam.” On November 8, 2023 the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists shot down a $30 million MQ-9 Reaper US drone over international waters. Then they started attacking ships in the Red Sea. So Biden has decided to start a war with the Houthis by bombing Yemen. Reuters reports that the Houtis, said “five fighters had been killed in a total of 73 air strikes. They vowed to retaliate and continue their attacks on shipping, which they say are intended to support Palestinians against Israel, a popular cause in Yemen.” Read More

Signs & Wonders
Space mysteries: Why do Earth's
magnetic poles flip?
Every so often, Earth's magnetic poles completely flip. What causes this to happen? And how do these reversals affect life on Earth?

Earth, our rocky, watery oasis in the cosmos is the ideal place for life to flourish for a number of reasons.

We sit at just the right distance from our home star for liquid water to exist on the planet's surface. The gravitational pull of other large planets helps protect us from apocalyptic collisions with wandering meteorites. And the planet's magnetic field encircles Earth with a protective barrier that shields us from charged particles hurtling through space

Earth's magnetic field is generated by the complex flow of molten metallic material in the outer core of the planet. The flow of this material is affected both by the rotation of Earth and the presence of a solid iron core, which results in a dipolar magnetic field where the axis roughly aligns with the rotational axis of the planet.

Hidden in the chemical composition of ancient rocks are clues that Earth's magnetic field is a dynamic, shifting phenomena. Cooling magma rich in iron minerals is pulled into alignment with Earth's magnetic field, similar to how a needle is pulled to point towards north on a compass. The study of ancient geomagnetic fields recorded in rocks is the subject of a discipline known as "paleomagnetism."

Paleomagnetic research has provided scientists with the knowledge that Earth's magnetic field has shifted and even reversed in polarity many times in the geological past. But why? Read More

'We…Are Facing a Crisis':

Christian Video Game Platform Aims to Combat 'Toxic Content,' Cultural Chaos
The CEO of a new Christian gaming and content platform is on a mission to transform entertainment while also protecting kids from the avalanche of over-sexualized, secular content. Brent Dusing, CEO and founder of TruPlay, a platform providing video games, digital comics, and cartoons, told CBN Digital his company does everything with “excellence and fun while ensuring it all “contains God’s truth. We started this because we’re so concerned about what’s going on with kids,” Dusing said, adding the situation today for children in America is dire, with fewer young people believing in God. “Why is that? How did we get here? It’s very simple. Fifty-two-and-a-half hours is the average amount of time a child spends on a screen. They’re only at church 30 minutes a week.”

With less than half of Americans attending church today, he said the situation is grim, particularly regarding the content and information coming at young people. “We really are facing a crisis with children,” Dusing continued. “Anxiety, suicide, depression rates are all time, all-time highs, pornography exposure, all-time highs for kids, all types of toxic content thrust on kids.” Amid the haze of confusion, he said many parents are looking for platforms they can trust — entertainment venues where their values can be respected and where children can hear about “God’s truth” while simultaneously enjoying the content. And that’s why Dusing created TruPlay, a subscription gaming platform that offers mobile games and plenty more — games that embrace biblical and family-friendly themes. But TruPlay offers more than gaming; it delivers comics and other projects as well. “It’s really a whole kind of a platform for all types of entertainment options for kids and families,” he said. “Our goal is to reach millions and millions of children, families all across the world.” (CBN) Read More

I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today, and be made complete;
Glory to His name!
Refrain
