Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, who was also formerly the Prime Minister and President of Russia in service to Vladimir Putin, has threatened Western capitals with the “entire strategic arsenal” of Russian nuclear weapons. Medvedev, for whom absolutely no slight is too small to necessitate a nuclear response, was speaking of Ukraine’s hope to retake its U.N.-recognised national territory which in some cases have been occupied by Russia for very close to ten years. An Indiana Catholic couple whose child was removed from their home following disagreements over their son expressing a desire to identify as the opposite sex are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their case.
Parents Mary and Jeremy Cox follow the Bible’s teachings on human sexuality, ascribing to the belief that God designs humans as male and female. Because of their religious beliefs and adherence to biological reality, they could not abide using feminine pronouns to identify their son, who demanded to be called by a female name after he told his parents in 2019 that he identified as a girl.
In 2021, the Indiana Department of Child Services initiated an investigation into the parents following a report that they weren’t affirming their son’s chosen identity as a girl. The boy was eventually removed from his parents’ care and placed in a home that affirmed his self-declared gender identity.
According to the law firm Becket, the parents have filed a petition with the Supreme Court asking the justices to hear the case, stating that “this Court should grant this petition and affirm its precedents on the right of fit parents to custody of their children.”
In the petition, the attorneys argue that if the Supreme Court does not intervene, other states might use a statute similar to Indiana’s to justify removing a child from the home if their parents adhere to biological reality and refuse to affirm their child’s self-declared gender identity. House Speaker Mike Johnson's home church receives suspicious package; FBI investigates

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating the recent discovery of a letter containing white powder that was sent to U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson's home church in Louisiana.
The package was sent to Cypress Baptist Church of Benton, a suburb of Shreveport-Bossier, located in Louisiana's 4th Congressional District, which the Republican lawmaker represents.
Louisiana State Police handed the investigation over to the FBI on Monday, according to The Shreveport Times. After testing, the powder was determined to be harmless. The FBI says that even sending a "hoax letter" is a "serious crime."
"Speaker Johnson was made aware of a suspicious package sent to his home church in Louisiana," Johnson's spokesperson Griffin Neal said in a statement.
"Speaker Johnson and the Johnson family thank U.S. Capitol Police, the FBI, the Louisiana State Police and the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office for taking swift action and handling the situation professionally. As the investigation is ongoing, we will refer all further questions to law enforcement handling this matter."
Cypress Baptist was also listed as the business address for Onward Christian Counseling Services, according to The Times. OCCS is owned by Johnson's wife, Kelly Johnson.

1. IDF destroys tunnel used by senior Hamas officials - Israel National News
Since the beginning of the war, the IDF's Yahalom unit has been operating throughout the Gaza Strip, both above and below ground. The unit focuses on the tunnel network, which constitutes a central part of Hamas’ mode of operation, and includes significant and strategic centers of gravity of the organization.
"The soldiers fought with professionalism in close-quarters combat, exposing and destroying tunnels and underground routes, and achieving significant results," The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated.
Recently, a number of strategic tunnels in Khan Yunis, used by senior Hamas officials were released for publication. Now, the IDF is revealing another tunnel route that served the senior officials and has been destroyed. (Read more)

2. Gantz sees signs of progress on hostage deal, warns of looming Rafah op during Ramadan - Times of Israel
A new hostage deal between Israel and Hamas could be in the works, war cabinet minister Benny Gantz declared on Wednesday, but if the sides fail to reach an agreement Israel will invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah over Ramadan.
He also said the entire war cabinet was united in opposition to sweeping limitations on Arab Israelis visiting Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount during Ramadan — as has reportedly been sought by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. Netanyahu was reported earlier this week to have sided with Ben Gvir on the issue.
Talking of a hostage deal, Gantz told reporters during a press conference at IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv that there were “initial signs that indicate the possibility of moving forward” on a new framework. He pledged to “leave no stone unturned” in the effort to free those kidnapped on October 7. (Read more)

3. Palestinians in Gaza demonstrate against Hamas - World Israel News
Palestinians in Gaza demonstrated against Hamas Tuesday night, with protests taking place both in the northern and southern sections of the coastal enclave.
In footage shown on X of the protest in the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern section, people can be seen chanting “Shiites, Shiites,” a reference to the branch of Islam espoused by both Hamas and its Iranian patrons. “We need food, we need flour, Sinwar and Haniyeh, stay away from our people, you thieves.”
Ismail Haniyeh is Hamas’ political head, who lives in luxury in Qatar, which has been a major funder of the terror organization for decades. Yahya Sinwar is the head of Gaza who masterminded the October 7 invasion of his terrorists into Israel in which they massacred 1,200 people while committing horrific war crimes, and took 253 hostages back to Gaza.
Israel’s reaction, to go to war to eliminate Hamas so that it could never threaten the country again, has led to mass destruction as Hamas has fought from and placed its weapons, terror tunnels, and rocket launching sites throughout civilian homes, schools, hospitals and mosques in Gaza, turning them into legitimate military targets. 4. Hamas pressured by Hezbollah to drop high demands in deal, Arab expert says - Jerusalem Post
Hamas is reportedly being pressured by Hezbollah and mediators to drop high demands from Israel in a possible deal, Arab affairs commentator Jacky Hugi said in a Wednesday interview with Army Radio.
"Hamas is under pressure from home and abroad: one of them is Hezbollah," he said. "In recent weeks, [its Secreary-General Hassan] Nasrallah and his men have asked Hamas to consolidate and claimed that their demand to release hundreds of prisoners with blood on their hands is unrealistic, and Israel would not be able to comply with it even if it really wanted to.
"Be practical," Hugi said: "Hezbollah, for their part, think that they have exhausted this war, but they cannot stop their initiative. Nasrallah said from the very first stage: 'We are fighting here to help the Gaza Strip in weakening the Israeli army, make it more difficult for them, and to increase the pressure on the government.' 5. Israel Denies UN Report Claiming Israeli Forces Assaulted Palestinian Women - Algemeiner
Israel has denied allegations made by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) charging Israeli forces with rape, abduction and extrajudicial killings of Palestinian women in Gaza, labeling them “despicable and unfounded.”
The UN experts’ statement released on Monday said there were “credible allegations of egregious human rights violations” by the Israel Defense Forces against Palestinian women and girls.
“Many [Palestinian women and girls] have reportedly been subjected to inhuman and degrading treatment, denied menstruation pads, food and medicine, and severely beaten,” the statement from the UN Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner said. “On at least one occasion, Palestinian women detained in Gaza were allegedly kept in a cage in the rain and cold, without food.” (Read more)

1. Big Tech teams up to take action against AI deepfakes in 2024 election - Washington Examiner
Some of the technology industry’s leading companies have teamed up to combat deceptive uses of artificial intelligence to spread misinformation in the 2024 elections.
The collective 20 companies announced the “Tech Accord to Combat Deceptive Use of AI in 2024 Elections” on Friday during the Munich Security Conference. The pact is a series of commitments from companies including Google, Meta, Amazon, and Adobe to work together to design tools that can detect AI-generated images or videos intended to deceive voters, also known as deepfakes. It is the latest effort by Silicon Valley to crack down on AI-generated misinformation in the primary and general elections while Congress is running out of time to pass anything substantial.
“Elections are the beating heart of democracies,” MSC Chairman Christoph Heusgen said in a statement. “The [Accord] is a crucial step in advancing election integrity, increasing societal resilience, and creating trustworthy tech practices.” (Read more)

2. Protests Erupt at Iowa Capital Over ‘Women’s Bill of Rights’ - Daily Citizen
Protests erupted at the Iowa state capitol on Monday over the “Women’s Bill of Rights,” a bill (HF 2389) that would define “men” and “women” in law based on biology; it would also codify the definition of “sex” as “a person’s biological sex, either male or female, at birth.”
HF 2389 states:
A “female” is a person whose biological reproductive system is developed to produce ova and a “male” is a person whose biological reproductive system is developed to fertilize the ova of a female.
The bill’s supporters – including Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds – say the bill will protect women and women’s spaces from men who identify as women. During the hearing, hundreds of LGBT activists shouted and held signs in the Capitol rotunda. Some held signs saying, “End trans genocide,” “Separate isn’t equal,” and “Let queer people exist in peace.” In a press release on Feb. 1, Gov. Reynolds endorsed the legislation, saying, “Women and men are not identical; they possess unique biological differences. That’s not controversial, it’s common sense.” (Read more)

3. House Democrats Condemn Appearance of ‘Radical Christian Nationalist’ Pastor Jack Hibbs - American Faith
In January, California pastor Jack Hibbs was invited by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to serve as the House of Representatives’ guest chaplain. Twenty-six House Democrats then signed a letter condemning the pastor’s opening prayer.
Hibbs’ said in his prayer, “Hear my cry in this hour of great need that we might be humbly blessed before You in repentance of our national sins,” and, “So please come upon those here who are the stewards over the business of our Nation with Your wisdom which comes from above and with Your holy fear knowing that Your coming day of judgment draws near when all who have been and are now in authority will answer to You, the great judge of heaven and of Earth.”
The letter, led by Reps. Jared Huffman (D-CA), Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and Mark Pocan (D-WI) called Hibbs a “radical Christian Nationalist who helped fuel the January 6th insurrection and has a long record of spewing hateful vitriol toward non-Christians, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ community.” “When his opening prayer invoked ‘holy fear’ and ‘repentance’ for ‘national sins,’ these were allusions to the militant and fanatical agenda he preaches about the LGBTQ+ community, Jews, Muslims, and anyone who conflicts with his ‘biblical worldview,'” the Democrats added. 4. U.S. to Invest Billions to Replace China-Made Cranes at Nation’s Ports - DML News
The Biden administration plans to invest billions in the domestic manufacturing of cargo cranes, seeking to counter fears that the prevalent use of China-built cranes with advanced software at many U.S. ports poses a potential national-security risk.
The move is part of a set of actions being taken by the administration on Wednesday that is intended to improve maritime cybersecurity. They include a U.S. Coast Guard directive to mandate certain digital-security requirements for deployed foreign-built cranes at strategic seaports, as well as an executive order by President Biden setting baseline cybersecurity standards for computer networks that operate U.S. ports.
Administration officials said more than $20 billion would be invested in port security, including domestic cargo-crane production, over the next five years. The money, tapped from the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill passed in 2021, would support a U.S. subsidiary of Mitsui, a Japanese company, to produce the cranes, which officials said would be the first time in 30 years they would be built domestically. 5. San Francisco Elections Commission blasted for appointment of noncitizen from China - Washington Examiner
Chinese immigrant Kelly Wong became the first noncitizen appointed to California‘s San Francisco Elections Commission last week, and the decision has received criticism.
The Hong Kong immigrant came to the United States in 2019, and a year later, San Francisco voters passed a measure to remove the citizenship requirement to serve on city boards and advisory bodies.
The Board of Supervisors in San Francisco unanimously voted Wong into her position. She has said she hopes to use her position to inform more immigrants about the voting process.
California attorney Laura Powell criticized the move to appoint anyone, regardless of immigration status to, public office.
“In case there was any doubt, the bill’s sponsor said it was meant to include undocumented immigrants. There was no opposition to SB225. We were all asleep at the wheel when this passed and share some blame,” she said. (Read more)

6. 7.2M illegals entered the US under Biden admin, an amount greater than population of 36 states - Fox News
Nearly 7.3 million migrants have illegally crossed the southwest border under President Biden's watch, a number greater than the population of 36 individual states, a Fox News analysis finds.
That figure comes from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which has already reported 961,537 border encounters in the current fiscal year, which runs from October through September.
If the current pace of illegal immigration does not slow down, fiscal year 2024 will break last year's record of 2,475,669 southwest border encounters — a number that by itself exceeds the population of New Mexico, a border state.
The total number of southwest land border encounters since Biden assumed office in 2021 is 7,298,486, CBP data shows.
That is larger than the population of 36 U.S. states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Desperate CBP agents on the northern US border are now offering $20,000 bonuses and $100,000 starting salaries in a bid to recruit more staff to crack down on illegal crossings.
Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia, who heads up the Swanton sector of northern Vermont, recently posted an informal ad for jobs at four locations in the state along with two more in New York.
It comes as illegal crossings from Canada into the US surged 500 percent to 10,021 last year compared with 2022. Of these, 6,925 were in the Border Patrol's Swanton Sector.
Alongside a sunrise photograph snapped at the border, agent Garcia wrote on X: 'Not a bad day at the office! NOW HIRING!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday he would not consider being Donald Trump’s running mate one day after the former president confirmed the former 2024 rival was on his “short list” — with DeSantis revealing that he was looking at other prospects, including another White House bid in four years.

Twelve seconds into a montage of play by play announcing accompanied by visuals of fans with agony on their faces, the words “Heart attack risk can more than double when your home team plays.” This is followed by another 11 seconds of a montage of sports fans’ faces changing out against the backdrop of intense sports calls with an increasing heartbeat sound in the background. Then a final heartbeat sound and a blank screen with white letters “Keep your heart in the game” and then “checkyourheartrisks.com” underscored with a slow heartbeat, tagged by an announcer saying “Bayer Aspirin Official Sponsor of Fan’s Hearts.” That’s the commercial that Bayer thinks is a fan friendly education for all.

US vetoes Security Council resolution demanding immediate ceasefire in Gaza war

The United States vetoed an Arab-backed UN resolution Tuesday demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.
The vote in the 15-member Security Council was 13-1, with the United Kingdom abstaining, reflecting the wide support for ending the more than four-month war that started with Hamas’s surprise invasion of southern Israel that killed about 1,200 people, most of them civilians, and saw 253 others taken hostage.

Final Warning? Great American Eclipse Will Pass 7 U.S. Locations Named 'Ninevah'

I am going to share something truly amazing with you in this article, and once again a lot of naysayers out there will dismiss it as a "coincidence" that really doesn't mean anything. But how is it possible that such a vast number of "coincidences" just happen to take place in April 2024?
Last Friday, I reported about an amazing discovery regarding how the sun, the moon, and the seven other planets in our solar system will be aligned during the Great American Eclipse on April 8th.
In this article, I am going to focus on seven specific locations that are named "Ninevah" which just happen to fall within the path of the Great American Eclipse on April 8th.
Let me start by going back almost 7 years.
On August 21st, 2017 the first Great American Eclipse made headlines all over the nation.
It was also known as "the Seven Salem Eclipse" because the path of that eclipse crossed over seven U.S. locations named "Salem"...

Sudanese Christian Slaves Saved in Modern-Day Underground Railroad: ‘It’s Extremely Dangerous Work’

An organization combatting Christian persecution across the globe recently announced it helped free 1,500 Sudanese slaves last year, bringing the total liberated over the past three decades to over 100,000. Joel Veldkamp, head of international communications at Christian Solidarity International (CSI), told CBN News Christians and followers of indigenous religions in South Sudan have been the hardest hit over the past few decades by dangerous slave raids. And, as he shared, the history behind the matter is quite complex. “Today, we have two countries — Sudan and South Sudan,” Veldkamp said. “But in the 1980s and 1990s, it was all just one country called Sudan, and that country was split by a civil war between the north, which is mostly Muslim and dominated by Arabs, and the south, which is mostly Christian and black African.” He said the Muslim government in the north started to use slavery as a “weapon of war” against the south, capturing tens of thousands of people during the conflict, which ended in 2005.
Even nearly 20 years later, Veldkamp said many slaves are still “stuck” in captivity, enduring painful and arduous lives. CSI works to try and free those facing these difficult and even deadly circumstances. Through an underground network created decades ago, Veldkamp’s organization helps free these slaves. It all started when goat traders came in contact with “sympathetic Muslims who went around North Sudan collecting people and bringing them home.” A cattle vaccine is often exchanged for human freedom, with slaves walking at night on foot toward the border to evade secret police and the military. “It’s extremely dangerous work,” Veldkamp said, noting that the efforts are helped by Muslims who are horrified over the treatment of these slaves.
