To listen to last night's national call, with the focus on Biden's current plans to create a Palestinian state without the permission of Israel, go here. In the second hour, we also addressed the need to pray over the safety of the children in our land, and the increasingly desperate need to deliver them from the transgender predators among us.

Supreme Court Could Set Landmark Precedent in Trump Jan. 6 Case
President Trump and special counsel Jack Smith have filed competing briefs on presidential immunity.
For the second time this year, the Supreme Court could hear oral arguments on a relatively untested area of constitutional law as it relates to former President Donald Trump and set a landmark precedent that could affect the 2024 presidential race.

Chief Justice John Roberts showed interest on Feb. 13 in reviewing former President Donald Trump’s request the prior day to halt a ruling against his presidential immunity claims in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Special counsel Jack Smith responded on Feb. 14, telling the court it should deny President Trump’s request.

The D.C. Appeals Court set up a tight timeline for President Trump to request the Supreme Court’s review before the district court continued its recently forestalled pre-trial proceedings. Initially scheduled for March 4, that trial is one of many that could interfere with President Trump’s campaign schedule and raise questions about the judiciary’s relationship with American democracy.

The presidential immunity issue also raises questions about how presidents may contest election results, the threats they could face from future administrations, and whether the Constitution’s separation of powers precludes courts from weighing in on certain presidential actions before Congress. (The Epoch Times) Read much more by going here.

- Lord, we bring this important issue before You and ask that justice and truth prevail. Let the justices realize the future ramifications of this situation, and rule with wisdom.

- "And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand." (Romans 13:11-12)

Letters Reveal Clash Between White House and Justice Department Over Special Counsel Report
The media recently obtained letters that shed light on the conflict between the White House and the Justice Department before the release of a special counsel report on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents.

In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland obtained by Politico, the White House lawyers criticized Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report a day before its release, saying it “openly, obviously, and blatantly” violates the Justice Department’s policy.

“We object to the multiple denigrating statements about President Biden’s memory which violate longstanding DOJ practice and policy,” the lawyers stated in the letter dated Feb. 7.

“The Special Counsel can certainly and properly note that the President lacked memory of a specific fact or series of events. But his report goes further to include allegations that the President has a failing memory in a general sense, an allegation that has no law enforcement purpose.”

Mr. Hur’s report, issued on Feb. 8, found evidence that President Biden “willfully retained” and shared highly classified information after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen but determined that no criminal charges were warranted.

In his 388-page report to Mr. Garland, the special counsel made a highly critical evaluation of the 81-year-old president’s mental fitness, describing him as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

The report referred to the president’s memory as “hazy,” “significantly limited,” “faulty,” and “poor.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord, what has been obvious to us appears to be a serious point of contention between sections of the Biden administration. We pray that truth and the perfect answer will be revealed!

Senior UN official denies Hamas is a terror organization, calling it a 'political movement' that requires a 'negotiated solution'
United Nations Relief Chief Martin Griffiths denied on Wednesday that Hamas is a terror organization during a controversial interview with Sky News.

"Hamas is not a terrorist group for us, as you know, it is a political movement,” Griffiths controversially stated without elaborating.

The conventional definition of a terrorist organization is a group that uses violence to achieve specific political and ideological goals. For that reason, Hamas has been designated a terror organization by the United States, Israel, the European Union, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Argentina.
Griffiths further claimed that such groups can only be pacified by realizing their aspirations.
“It is very difficult to dislodge these groups without a negotiated solution which includes their aspiration,” the Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief coordinator admitted.

Griffiths did not mention that Hamas leadership openly calls for the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews worldwide.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. IDF strikes Hezbollah arms depots deep inside Lebanon after drone attack on north - Times of Israel

The Israel Defense Forces on Monday afternoon struck what it said were two weapon depots belonging to the Hezbollah terror group near Lebanon’s southern coastal city of Sidon.

The strikes came as a response to a drone attack on northern Israel hours earlier, which caused no damage or injuries.

Lebanese media reported Israeli airstrikes in the town of Ghaziyeh, on the southern outskirts of Sidon, some 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the northern border. (Read more)

2. Israeli cabinet rejects global recognition of Palestinian state - JNS

The Israeli Cabinet on Sunday approved a statement rejecting any unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood, amid reports the Biden administration is considering such a move.

“In light of remarks that have been heard recently in the international community about an attempt to unilaterally force a Palestinian state on Israel, today I submit for government approval a declarative decision on the issue. I am certain that it will receive very broad support,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the beginning of Sunday’s weekly Cabinet meeting.

His office subsequently released the text of the statement:

1. Israel utterly rejects international diktats regarding a permanent settlement with the Palestinians. A settlement, if it is to be reached, will come about solely through direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions.

2. Israel will continue to oppose unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state. Such recognition in the wake of the October 7th massacre would be a massive and unprecedented reward to terrorism and would prevent any future peace settlement. (Read more)

3. Malcolm Hoenlein: Arab states want Israel to destroy Hamas - Israel National News

Malcolm Hoenlein, the Vice Chairman Emeritus of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, in an expansive interview, told Arutz Sheva-Israel National News about the organization's visit to Israel this year.

He began by discussing the growing pressure on Israel from the US to recognize a Palestinian state. “I should say that the US-Israel relationship remains very strong. The American people still remain committed to Israel. We have to do more to get them to understand the nuances and sometimes the the choices Israel has to make, but I think that there remains a strong commitment. Regarding proposals about a Palestinian state the day after, and considerations and pressures what Israel must do in Rafah, I think these should be dealt with quietly on both sides."

"I told this to President Obama in our first meeting, that the lesson of history is that there shouldn't be public daylight between the countries. America is under both external pressure and domestic political pressures, but in a war situation especially, you can't dictate to a country that has gone through the trauma of what Israel went through on October 7th and minimize the options that are open to it.” (Read more)

4. Former Canadian PM calls Hamas defeat ‘essential’- JNS
Former Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper on Sunday called on Israel’s allies to stop asking it to abandon its war aim of eliminating Hamas, and instead to pressure Hamas to surrender.

In an op-ed published in The National Post, Harper said that Israel’s position regarding Hamas was the same as the Allies’ regarding Nazi Germany, and that its war against the terror group should end in the same manner as did the war against the Nazis.

The long-time vocal supporter of the Jewish state arrived there on Sunday for a surprise solidarity visit in the wake of the Oct. 7 massacre and to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his address to the Knesset on Jan. 20, 2014. (Read more)

5. Palestinian premier calls for ‘unity’ with Hamas, tells world to stop ‘focusing on October 7th’ - World Israel News

A top Palestinian Authority official called on the Hamas terror organization to join a summit hosted by Russia, in the hopes of establishing an alliance between the Ramallah-based PA and the terror group.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference Sunday, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh endorsed unification with Hamas, entreating the Gaza terror group to join the February 26th summit in Moscow.

“Russia has invited all Palestinian factions who will be meeting on the twenty-sixth of this month in Moscow,” Shtayyeh said. “We will see if Hamas is ready to come to the ground with us.”

“We are ready to engage. If Hamas is not then that’s a different story. We need Palestinian unity.” (Read more)

U.S. Military Official Explains The Threat Of A Russian Anti-Satellite Nuclear Weapon

The U.S. revealed this week that Russia is reportedly working on, or is at least considering building, a nuclear weapon designed to only be used in space as an anti-satellite weapon.

President Joe Biden addressed the matter a press conference on Friday, saying that there was no immediate threat to anyone on earth from the potential weapon, adding that there was “no evidence that they have made a decision to go forward with doing anything in space either.”

“So what we found out, there was a capacity to launch a system into space that could theoretically do something that was damaging, hadn’t happened yet,” he added. “And my hope is that it will not.”
Lt. Col. “Tony” Vincent, an active duty scientist in the United States Air Force (USAF) who is currently the Director of Advanced Physics Courses at the Air Force Academy, wrote in a September 2022 piece about the dangers that are posed by a nuclear weapon being detonated in space.

Vincent highlighted what happened when the Atomic Energy Commission, in collaboration with the Defense Atomic Support Agency, detonated a nuclear weapon in low Earth orbit back in the Summer of 1962:

“The test was codenamed Starfish Prime and it revealed an unfortunate lesson: Even one high altitude nuclear detonation is particularly effective at destroying satellites. Not only were satellites in the line of sight destroyed, but even satellites on the other side of Earth were damaged and rendered inoperable. Starfish Prime damaged or destroyed roughly one third of all satellites in low Earth orbit at the time.” (Daily Wire) Read more here.

Trump’s ‘Hush Money’ Trial to Begin March 25, Judge Rules
New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan said on Feb. 15 that former President Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial would proceed with jury selection starting on March 25.

President Trump’s attorneys blasted the decision to keep the March date, complaining that Trump will have to stand trial in New York at the same time as he is attempting to sew up the Republican presidential nomination.

“It is completely election interference to say ‘you are going to sit in this courtroom in Manhattan,'” defense lawyer Todd Blanche said. “What about his rights?”

The March 25 date places the trial in the middle of the campaign season, just weeks after Super Tuesday. President Trump’s Washington trial was set to start on March 4, just a day before Super Tuesday, but was postponed because of his appeal related to presidential immunity.

Noting that he resisted defense lawyer urgings from months ago to postpone the trial, Justice Merchan said: “I’m glad I took that position because here we are; the D.C. case did not go forward.”
Just before the Feb. 15 hearing, President Trump criticized the prosecution as a form of election interference. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord, we pray that You will touch President Trump’s heart with healing and restoration. We ask that all litigation fall away from him and allow him to focus on winning the election and defending our country.

-“The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether.” (Psalm 19: 7-9)
Scheme uncovered to announce "Palestinian state" RIGHT AWAY!
A scheme has been uncovered that apparently would involve announcing – unilaterally – a Palestinian state right away, and it is drawing a chorus of objections.

The Algemeiner website reported the proposed plan, described by the Washington Post, calls for the withdrawal of many, if not all, settler communities on the West Bank; a Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem; the reconstruction of Gaza; and security and governance arrangements for a combined West Bank and Gaza.

Stunningly, the action could involve early U.S. recognition of a Palestinian state – even as elements of political reform, security guarantees for both Israel and the Palestinians, normalization and reconstruction are being implemented. The discussion is stunning in that only in October, terrorists from Hamas, which works out of the
Palestinian-controlled Gaza, invaded Israel and butchered some 1,200 civilians. The scheme apparently is the work of the U.S. and several Arab states.

"In my speech yesterday in Berlin, I warned against the dangerous plan that is taking shape for unilateral international recognition of a Palestinian state, said Gideon Sa’ar, an Israeli lawmaker who is not part of the government coalition. This plan will not only not resolve the conflict but will make it intractable. The Palestinians will receive state recognition without paying the price of compromise and they will continue the conflict from an upgraded position that will harm Israel’s right to self-defense."
Israel, according to reports, would be left out of the process entirely.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been opposed to such a move.

1,400 murdered and the world wants to give them a state. It won’t happen, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said on social media.

"The intention of the U.S., together with the Arab states, to establish a terror state alongside the state of Israel is delusional and part of the misguided conception that there is a partner for peace on the other side… While we are in the government, no Palestinian state will be established." (Algemeiner) Read more here.

 - Lord God Almighty, we come before You on bended knee, asking for Your hand of mercy to rest upon Your land. We take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and we smash into pieces this wicked agenda and all of its component parts. Together, we decree: "NO MORE!" to this scheme!

And Lord God Almighty, we come before Your Throne of Grace in repentance, asking You to forgive our State Department and Joe Biden for agreeing to this plan. NO MORE, in Your Name, Abba, amen and amen!

And here your proud waves must stop!’"

Rowdy anti-Israel group gathers outside Ted Cruz's home for early morning protest: 'Harassing my family'
Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz was confronted by a raucous crowd of anti-Israel protesters Saturday outside his Houston home for a second time in one week.

In a post to social media Saturday morning, Cruz, who has been vocal about his support of Israel amid its war with Hamas militants, wrote, "For the [2nd] time this week, anti-Israel protestors have come to my house early in the morning, waking up the neighbors & harassing my family. None expressed concern about Hamas’ Oct 7 murder of over 1200 or mass rapes of women & children."

The senator added, "I’m proud to stand with Israel."

Though it is not immediately clear whether Cruz was at his home when the protesters arrived, the footage shared online, which was captured from Cruz's front door, showed a little more than a dozen protesters holding signs and shouting anti-Israel chants. (Fox News) Read more here

1,800-year-old 'Iron Legion' Roman base discovered near 'Armageddon' is largest in Israel
The Roman military base once housed more than 5,000 soldiers.

Archaeologists have discovered the remnants of a massive 1,800-year-old Roman legionary base that is the only one of its size and caliber ever found in Israel.

Located near Tel Megiddo, a national park and the site of the ancient city of Megiddo (also known as Armageddon) in northern Israel, the "Iron Legion" camp once housed more than 5,000 soldiers and was used as a strategic military base for the Romans, according to a statement by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).

The Roman legionary was a group of elite infantrymen who served and protected the Roman Empire, which made the region into the province Judaea in A.D. 6.

During ongoing excavations at the site that have stretched the better part of a decade, archaeologists unearthed a multitude of "extensive and impressive architectural remains" of the camp's main road, as well as a semicircular podium and areas paved in stone that were part of a "monumental" public building, according to the statement.

The camp was occupied for around 180 years, beginning sometime between A.D. 117 and 120 through A.D. 300. The military site was 1,804 feet long by 1,148 feet wide (550 meters by 350 meters) and was accessed via two roads that led into the base. That intersection was where the camp's headquarters were built. Read More

The Good News Corner
When Sarah Huckabee-Sanders was elected Arkansas governor, she quickly made education reform the focus of her term. The former press secretary to President Donald Trump also vowed to make school choice a key part of those efforts. Today, Arkansas is one of 14 states that offer public funds for students to attend private schools. We visited a family who opted-in to find out if the new voucher program could make a lasting impact. The halls are bustling at Providence Academy here in Rogers. The private classical Christian school is at capacity with 580 students, and 71 of those students are enrolled through the state's new school voucher program. Kira Workman, an 8th grader, told us, "We toured like a bunch of different schools to see which one would be the best fit and it was just like something – a sign from God –  that Providence just had something like, whoa, this is above all the other places."

Providence Academy in Rogers, Arkansas is part of the school voucher program. Kira is thriving in the Christian environment. And her mom says she couldn't be happier after watching Kira struggle in public school. "Public school was not a good fit for Kira. Academically she did fine, socially it was difficult," Shanna Workman said.  Providence Academy President Jason Ross said, "To hear Kira's story is touching. It's special to be part of the Kingdom of God and a ministry in a way that could impact them, potentially for the rest of their lives." Huckabee-Sanders titled her new education policy – which includes school vouchers – the "LEARNS Act." Here's how it works:  Parents of students approved for school choice at set up with what's called "educational freedom accounts" which provide $6,600 in public funds per student. Ninety-four private and parochial schools in Arkansas are taking part with nearly 5,000 students enrolled statewide.(CBN) Read More and Watch Interview here.

- Abba, we are so grateful for Gov. Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and the educational reform she has brought to Arkansas! We thank You for the LEARNS ACT, which has allowed families the provision of school vouchers for choices in their children's education. May the success of this program flourish and gain support for educational-vouchers in all states, empowering parents to select Christian schools they might otherwise not be able to afford. We lift praise for this provision and for the blessings of having Your wise saints seated in places of governmental authority! In the mighty and powerful Name of Jesus Christ-Amen

A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
