CIA agent arrested for leaking classified documents about Israel's retaliatory strike plans against Iran

U.S. official working overseas has been indicted for leaking highly classified information about Israel’s earlier plans to attack Iran, according to court papers filed on Wednesday.

CIA operative, Asif William Rahman, was arrested by the FBI this week in Cambodia and scheduled to make his first court appearance on Thursday in Guam.

Rahman was charged in a federal court in Virginia on two counts of violating the Espionage Act by disclosing classified U.S. documents about Israel’s plans for a retaliatory strike against Iran.

The indictment shows Rahman gained access to a classified document marked “top secret” and “secure compartmented information” on Oct. 17 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and delivered the document to someone who wasn’t authorized to receive it. (AllIsrael.com) Read more here

- Father God, we bring Asif William Rahman before Your Throne of grace and justice. We thank You that his act of treason has been found out. We thank You, too, that he has been charged with two counts of violating the Espionage Act, and we ask that the full weight of our justice system would now rest heavily upon him as he faces these charges. Mr, Rahman has clearly committed treason against the United States, so we call forth the penalty due him in Your Name, amen and amen.

- "I behold the treacherous and loathe them,
Because they do not keep Your word."
(Psalm 119:158)

Florida AG Sues FEMA Over Alleged Discrimination Against Trump Supporters
MIAMI—Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced that she is taking legal action against Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell and recently fired supervisor Marn’i Washington for “conspiracy to discriminate against Florida hurricane victims who support President-elect Donald Trump.”

Moody is seeking nominal damages, punitive damages in the defendants’ individual capacities, and a declaration that these FEMA officials “conspired to interfere with the civil rights of Florida citizens.”

“Hurricane season is not over, and the federal agency in charge of emergency response is embroiled in scandal—caught withholding aid from storm victims in Florida who support President Trump,” Moody said in a statement. “I am taking swift legal action to find out how far this political discrimination reaches and to make sure all Americans who fall victim to devastating storms are served, regardless of their political affiliation.”

Moody filed the
complaint after Washington, a FEMA supervisor, was fired on Nov. 9 for allegedly urging her team not to visit homes of storm victims that displayed signs supporting Trump in Lake Placid, Florida.

Moody’s complaint cites whistleblowers who reported FEMA workers in Lake Placid were directed to ignore storm victims displaying Trump signs or flags outside their homes. The complaint states that messages such as “Trump sign no entry per leadership” were reportedly entered into a government database, and this guidance caused at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags in Lake Placid to be avoided from the end of October into November. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God Almighty, we praise You that this situation has come to light, and that, in time, justice will be meted out to those in authority in FEMA. We ask for Your hand of mercy to rest upon those Florida residents who were not given the aide due them, and that You will restore all that the locust has eaten in their lives. In Your Name, amen.

- "The effective,
fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."       (James 5:16)

US Ambassador Accuses Mexican Government of Refusing Help in Fighting Drug Cartels

The U.S. ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, accused the Mexican government of being in denial over the country’s security problems and refusing to accept help from Washington in the fight against violent drug cartels.

“The reality is that at the moment Mexico is not safe,” Salazar said in a news conference in Mexico City on Nov. 13.

“The reality for the Mexican people, and that is for businesspeople, members of the press like you who work on the streets, those who have ranches, like the cattleman killed in Sinaloa over the weekend because he was a leader, they don’t live with security.”

Salazar, a former Democrat senator from Colorado and secretary of the interior under President Barack Obama, was appointed ambassador in September 2021 by President Joe Biden and could be expected to be replaced by President-elect Donald Trump.

While he has been critical of some elements of Mexican government policy, especially the controversial judicial reforms that were passed in September, his Nov. 13 speech was the first time that he has criticized them so harshly.

(The Epoch Times) Read more here.
- We praise You, O Lord, that Ambassador Salazar is not afraid to speak the truth about this very serious and dangerous situation. We ask that Your hand of protection would rest upon this brave man and his household. We ask for a true breakthrough to come forth now, so that both America and Mexico will tackle this problem together, and the evil work of the cartels would be taken down. In Your name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- "Pray for kings and all who are in authority." (I Timothy 2)

Sylvester Stallone Is Latest Celeb to Back Trump, Calls Him a “Second George Washington” at Gala

Sylvester Stallone is the latest Hollywood figure to back President-elect Donald Trump, calling the 2024 election victor the “second George Washington” at an awards gala at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Thursday night.

Stallone sang the praises of the incoming president at the America First Policy Institute Gala held in Palm Beach, comparing him to the titular character in his Oscar-winning film Rocky and Jesus Christ before Trump took to the stage. In publicly coming out as a supporter of Trump, the actor joined a short but growing list of celebrity supporters of the incoming president that includes Kelsey Grammer, Drea de Matteo and Jack Paul, among others. A majority of Hollywood players backed the truncated campaign of his rival, Democrat Kamala Harris. Her campaign relied on several stars as endorsers and entertainment at rallies and enlisted them in the vice president’s ground game in battleground states. Read more here
