1. UN publishes blacklist of 112 companies with ties to Israeli settlements - Jerusalem Post
The United Nations on Wednesday published its long awaited controversial blacklist of companies doing business over the pre-1967 lines in east Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Golan.
The publication of the data base, which the United States had long worked to suppress, comes as in the aftermath of the Trump administration's recognition that Israeli settlements are legal and can become part of sovereign Israel.
The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said it had identified 112 business entities, such Cheerio's cereal maker General Mills, which it has reasonable grounds to conclude have ties with Israeli settlements - 94 domiciled in Israel and 18 in six other countries. These countries included: the United States, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Thailand and Luxembourg.
2. The blacklist: All 112 companies UN says are operating in settlements - Times of Israel
The UN Human Rights Council on Wednesday published a "database" of 112 companies it says are conducting business in West Bank settlements.
In the report the council said the companies' activities "raised particular human rights concerns."
Israeli authorities reacted with fury to the report, which they described as a "blacklist," while the Palestinians lauded the list as "a victory for international law."
3. US celebrates withdrawal of UN Security Council resolution against peace plan - Times of Israel
WASHINGTON - After a rancorous UN Security Council debate Tuesday, during which every member nation except the United States and Israel distanced themselves from President Donald Trump's peace plan, the White House celebrated the withdrawal of a resolution rejecting the proposal.
The administration reportedly put heavy pressure on critics to drop the measure, introduced by Indonesia and Tunisia, and diplomats gave up when it risked not having the necessary nine out of 15 votes to secure its passage and necessitate a US veto.
"By not putting forward a polarizing resolution, the United Nations Security Council demonstrated that the old way of doing things is over," a senior Trump official told The Times of Israel.
4. IDF Wipes out Hamas Military Compound After Rocket Attacks Hit Southern Israel - Jerusalem OnLine
"Air-raid sirens sounding in southern Israel," the IDF tweeted on Sunday night. "One rocket was just fired from Gaza into Israel," it posted soon thereafter.
Later, within hours, the military followed up and announced that in response to the "projectile launched from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory," Israeli "aircraft and fighter jets targeted a number of Hamas terror targets in the southern Gaza Strip."
The IDF said that the targets struck in the retaliatory raid included "a training compound and military infrastructures used by the Hamas terror organization," adding that by attacking the target, Israel was impeding the "future abilities" of the terrorists.
"The IDF views any kind of terror activity aimed at Israeli territory with great severity and is highly prepared for various scenarios," said one of the statements issued Sunday night and early Monday morning.

1. After impeachment acquittal, Senate confirms another Trump court pick over Dem objections - Fox News
Minutes after Chief Justice John Roberts gaveled out President Trump's impeachment trial, which had consumed the Senate for almost three weeks, Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., got right back to what he's said is his top priority -- confirming judges.
Less than half-an-hour after TV networks cut away from the Senate to dive into the ramifications of the body acquitting Trump, McConnell filed cloture on the nomination of Judge Andrew Brasher to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, a procedural step that moved the controversial nominee one step closer to confirmation. The Senate took the next step to confirming Brasher with a 46-41 cloture vote Monday, then confirmed him 52-43 on Tuesday.
Progressive groups, which have opposed many Trump nominees, cried foul over the move. (Read more)
- Thank you father God for this victory! We are so grateful for these new judges that are being confirmed every day that will have a lasting impact for generations and generations to come.
- "One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts."(Psalm 145:4)
2. Not just Bidens! Kerry, Romney, Clintons, Pelosi, Soros are ALL tied to Ukraine - WND
It's not only former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter who have been accused of have nefarious connections to Ukraine.
Former Secretary of State John Kerry, Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, Bill and Hillary Clinton, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and left-wing billionaire activist George Soros also have been named in investigative reporting, points out the Gateway Pundit's Joe Hoft.
Hunter Biden is known for receiving more than $3 million from the corrupt Ukrainian firm Burisma, beginning two months after his father became Obama's point man for Ukraine policy. Regarding Kerry, Hoft pointed out that in early 2014, the former Massachusetts senator visited Ukraine and offered $1 billion in aid shortly after protesters took over the government .Meanwhile, the Huffington Post reported that shortly after President Trump was inaugurated, a former top CIA official reported to be a top Romney aide joined the board of Burisma . . . Then there's the Clintons, who received millions from Ukrainians over the years in donations to their family foundation. (Read more)
- We repent Father God, on behalf of these corrupt individuals who have stolen millions of tax payer money, lied, and intentionally deceived the public. We bind the spirit of lust that seeks power and exults itself before the well-being of others. And we ask that your justice and truth shall have its way in this situation in Jesus name amen.
"For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-comes not from the Father but from the world." (1 John 2:16)
3. White House expected to drop Pentagon nominee Elaine McCusker amid Ukraine fallout - New York Post
The White House is expected to pull the nomination of Elaine McCusker to be the Pentagon's comptroller and chief financial officer in the latest staffing fallout from President Trump's impeachment, The Post has learned.
McCusker resisted the president's directive to stall about $250 million in military aid to Ukraine and her emails protesting the delay were leaked in January to the blog Just Security ahead of Trump's Senate trial. "This administration needs people who are committed to implementing the president's agenda, specifically on foreign policy, and not trying to thwart it," a White House official told The Post. (Read more)
- Father God, thank you for using the impeachment sham against the president to expose the bad players in our government. Please continue to show the Trump administration who they can trust and who needs to be dismissed. We praise you and give you all the glory!
- "I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds."(Psalms 9:1)
4. Impeachment 2.0? Democrats line up possible new charges against Trump - Washington Times
Democrats already have lined up possible charges if they choose to pursue impeachment 2.0.
Still pending is a wide-open probe launched by Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat. Mr. Schiff has been investigating President Trump, his family and businesses, the Trump Organization, over the congressman's suspicions of blackmail, money laundering and bribery.
Republican staffers say the inquiry was put on hold last fall pending the Ukraine impeachment proceedings led by Mr. Schiff. But there is no sign Mr. Schiff has given up trying to prove Mr. Trump is corrupt, and if the president is impeached again, the charges would likely come from this probe, informed sources said. Mr. Trump alluded to a new impeachment push Thursday.
"So we will probably have to do it again, because these people have gone stone-cold crazy, but I have beaten him all my life and I will beat him again if I have to," Mr. Trump said at a post-Senate acquittal celebration at the White House. "But what they are doing is very unfair." (Read more)
- In the name of Jesus we continue to say no weapon formed against Donald Trump, his family, and his administration shall prosper and any judgment that rises up against him Father you will condemn. We call the plans of impeachment 2.0 null and void in Jesus name amen.
- "The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down-those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice." (Is. 29:20-21)
5. Judge rejects secret request for new trial by Roger Stone as Trump hints at possible pardon - CNBC
A judge rejected Roger Stone's previously secret request for a new criminal trial, according to a court filing unsealed Wednesday, as President Donald Trump said that his longtime friend and political advisor was treated "very badly" by prosecutors.
But Trump was coy when asked if he was considering a pardon for Stone, who is due to be sentenced Feb. 20 in federal court in Washington, D.C. for lying to Congress and other crimes.
"I don't want to say yet," Trump replied." But people were hurt, viciously and badly by these corrupt people." (Read more)
- Father God we lift Roger Stone up to you and ask that your will be done in this situation. We pray that justice would be swift and that Roger would be given fair treatment as this case continues to proceed.
- "You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice." (Exodus 23:1-2)
6. Barr to testify before House Judiciary panel - The Hill
Attorney General William Barr has agreed to give testimony before the House Judiciary Committee next month amid growing questions over the administration's alleged interference in the criminal case of a close ally of President Trump.
Democrats on the panel released a letter Wednesday confirming Barr's March 31 appearance, saying they are concerned the agency has become politicized under his watch.
The hearing's announcement comes amid heightened scrutiny over Barr and the Department of Justice (DOJ) amid Democrats' concerns that President Trump is influencing the agency.
Barr's appearance comes after the DOJ asked a federal court to sentence longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone to "far less" than the seven to nine years department prosecutors had recommended just a day earlier. (Read more)
- Lord God, we pray a hedge of protection around William Barr and ask that you deliver him from the scrutiny he is receiving from the House for delivering REAL justice and reporting on the truth. We ask that you protect him, give him wise counsel, and increase his courage to stand up to the bullies on Capital Hill! In Jesus name amen.
- "Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the rebellion of the workers of iniquity." (Psalm 64:1-2)
7. Migrant Family Apprehensions at Border Down 94 Percent from Peak in May - Breitbart
The apprehension of Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) by Border Patrol agents along the southwest border with Mexico fell from a peak of 84,486 in May 2019 to only 5,163 in January 2020, according to the Southwest Border Migration Report released by CBP officials on Tuesday. This represents a change in the processing of migrant families from 2,725 per day in May to 167 per day in January.
"The Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO) - the cartels, the human smuggling organizations - who have shown a complete disregard for the safety of other human beings are exploiting people and violating the laws of our nation," Commissioner Morgan told reporters during a Tuesday morning press conference. "That is the one commonality in any crisis that we're facing and any threat that we're facing in respect to CBP's duties, roles, and responsibilities."
"This president has," he continued. "Where Congress has failed to act, this president has. The president's network of carefully considered policy initiatives implemented by CBP, ICE, and other partner agencies now apply to nearly 95 percent of aliens who cross the border illegally." (Read more)
- Thank you father God for protecting America's borders and giving Donald Trump the strength and the strategies on how to keep us safe, protect our children, and our country's well-being. And we ask that you continue to give the Trump administration strategic plans from heaven to be successful in every area! In Jesus name amen.
- "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
8. 76 Percent of Democrats Say They'd Vote for a Socialist for President, New Poll Shows- Newsweek
Just over three-quarters of Democratic voters said that they would vote to elect a socialist president, according to poll results from Gallup released Tuesday.
When it came to candidates who were socialists, Democrats were most likely to answer that they would vote for them. Seventy-six percent of Democrats said they would back a socialist candidate, compared with 17 percent of Republicans and 45 percent of independents.
Being a socialist was the only characteristic to receive "majority opposition" from most Americans, according to Gallup. That is, a plurality of Americans said they would not vote for a socialist. About 53 percent of Americans said they would not vote for a socialist, while 45 percent said that they would. The percentage of those who would vote that way was down 2 points from a 2015 Gallup poll that asked the same question. (Read more)
- We acknowledge father God that this poll is too close to call. There should not be that many voting Americans, whether Republican or Democrat, that aligns themselves with socialist policies. We ask that you expose the destructive agenda that socialism really is and cause your people to reject it in Jesus name amen.
- "Avoid it, do not pass by it; Turn away from it and pass on." (Proverbs 4:15)
9. Trump doubles Obama's 2012 vote total in New Hampshire, signaling fired up base - Fox News
President Trump didn't have a serious challenger in the New Hampshire primary, but he still turned out enough voters to more than double former President Barack Obama's 2012 vote total in the state, indicating that the Republican base is all-in on Trump as he prepares to face the eventual Democratic nominee in a reelection battle this November.
With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Trump secured more than 120,000 votes in the Granite State. In 2012, Obama managed just 49,080 total votes in New Hampshire.
It also dwarfs the total of other incumbent presidents: then-President George W. Bush received 53,962 votes in the largely-uncontested GOP primary in New Hampshire in 2004. And in 1996, incumbent President Bill Clinton received 76,797 votes in New Hampshire's primary.
It follows a coordinated effort by the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign to drive up turnout for Trump in New Hampshire -- something the other incumbents didn't do. Trump himself revved up his supporters at a packed and fiery rally in Manchester, N.H., on Monday, the eve of the state's primary. (Read more)
- Thank you father God for this positive motivation from American voters! We ask that you continue to fill the hearts of American people with the same kind of momentum for Trump, his administration, and his agenda for America. We decree and declare the victory in 2020!
- "The LORD said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you." (Joshua 10:8)
10. Senate Passes War Powers Measure - Daily Caller
The U.S. Senate voted Wednesday to advance a War Powers resolution which would limit President Donald Trump's ability to use military action against Iran without approval from Congress.
The vote was bipartisan, 51-45, with eight Republicans voting with Democrats. The eight Republicans in favor of the resolution included Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Maine Sen. Susan Collins, Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander, Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy, Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and Indiana Sen. Todd Young.
The resolution could be vetoed by Trump, as he vetoed a War Powers resolution in 2019. (Read more)
- Father God we trust that you will be our mighty protector in times of trouble. We trust that you chose President Trump in this moment in time to defend America and our allies. We ask your will be done in this situation. In Jesus name amen!
- "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
The Daily Jot
Of Loving Enemies, and the President's Words
Wednesday, February 12, 2020
We have heard many criticize the President for his allegedly insensitive remarks about his political enemies at the national prayer breakfast. It is important to keep things in context. What is the context of Christ's exhortation of praying for your enemies? Christ consistently spoke about loving our neighbors as we would love ourselves— Praying for our enemies-yes a sincere prayer that they would know the Lord! But we are also supposed to stand against evil, just as his example in taking authority over the Pharisees and Sadducees. Love our enemies, because the greatest love is that they would know the Lord and have life everlasting.
Let's look at the context in which the President was speaking. Trump pointed out his exact experience with these people. They present an image to the public of being so righteous, yet they speak hate and label others with hateful names. They say they pray for him, but it is obvious their prayers are for his demise. Pointing out hypocrisy and truth does not always equate to hating enemies. Trump conveyed his experience as he saw it. What did Christ do in revealing the very judgmental and hypocritical Pharisees? He called them white-washed sepulchers. He told them that they were of their father the devil and that they lied like their father. We may not necessarily agree with how Trump communicates his message (I myself have many issues with this), but he definitely was telling the truth.
Let's now look at the overall context. The people Trump was speaking of are not lovers of God as they claim. We see it in their actions and deeds, as well as their words. They stand for ungodliness, they support the enemies of Israel (also the traditional enemies of God), and they seek to enrich themselves through the tearing down of or exercising tyranny over others in word, deed, and policy. So what are we to say? Is Trump justified? Most likely yes. Is his way of saying it eloquently presented or presidential? Not always. But in the end, it is truth. This is why believers can support this flawed man over the eminent evil we see in those who oppose Trump, oppose us, and most importantly, oppose the God we serve.
We have countless examples in the New Testament letters about overcoming evil with good, holding accountability, and having done all, stand. AND we have countless examples that believers should treat others as we would want to be treated. It's both pointing out truth in love AND holding accountability where possible. We are to love our enemies because, as Christ said in the very same teaching (Matthew 5:48) "Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." This is our goal to be like our Father in heaven. He loved us unto salvation. It's easy to hate your enemies, much harder to love them. Loving our enemies means to see them as humans who need God's love. It doesn't mean we appreciate what they do or condone it. And there are times their deeds need to be exposed.
Pope Pushes One World Religion
Pope Pushes One World Religion on Israel's Independence Day
Historically, the Vatican was no friend to the Jews but its new initiative aligns the Catholic Church with Islam in a one-world religion that may be the biggest threat ever to the Jewish People. A major event to advance the project will take place on the anniversary of the birth of the State of Israel which, according to one rabbi, is fitting since Judaism is the last bastion, entirely incompatible with a New World Order.
At an address to Vatican diplomats last month, Pope Francis announced that the Vatican will be hosting a global event with titled, "Reinventing the Global Compact on Education."
"A global educational pact is needed to educate us in universal solidarity and a new humanism," the Pope said when he first proposed the summit.

A Classic Hymn
"I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream." (Isaiah 66:12)
Lyrics
Like a river glorious, is God's perfect peace,
Over all victorious, in its bright increase;
Perfect, yet it floweth, fuller every day,
Perfect, yet it groweth, deeper all the way.
Refrain
Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.
Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

Every joy or trial falleth from above,
Traced upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
We may trust Him fully all for us to do.
They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true.

Coronavirus expert says he knows when the virus 'will burn itself out,' according to leaked analysis
With the overall death toll climbing each day, but the daily death toll showing signs of subsiding, fear and uncertainty have spread farther and farther around the globe as the novel coronavirus continues to captivate the world's attention. However, John Nicholls, a pathology professor at the University of Hong Kong, says he knows when the virus will become inactive.
In a private conference call organized last week by CLSA, a brokerage firm based in Hong Kong, investment analysts had a chance to ask Nicholls, one of the world's foremost experts on the topic, questions about the novel coronavirus. In the days since the call took place, details of Nicholls' analysis have surfaced on social media and elsewhere online, including a transcript of the call.
. . . The transcript of the call showed Nicholls believes weather conditions will be a key factor in the demise of the novel coronavirus. Referencing the SARS outbreak from 2002 and 2003, Nicholls said he thinks similar weather factors will also shut down the spread of the novel coronavirus.
"Three things the virus does not like: 1. Sunlight, 2. Temperature, and 3. Humidity," Nicholls said in response to a question about when he thinks confirmed cases will peak.
"I think it will burn itself out in about six months," Nicholls said.

Trump unveils budget plan to defund abortion centers like Planned Parenthood
The White House submitted its $4.89 trillion annual budget proposal to Congress Monday, laying out a plan that contains numerous spending cuts, including defunding abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood. The plan illustrates President Donald Trump's policy priorities, though few expect it to resemble whatever ultimately becomes law.
The Fiscal Year 2021 plan calls for various cuts to the budgets of the US State Department, Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency, and more, while increasing military spending as well as the budgets for the Departments of Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs, as well as NASA. It projects a $4.6 trillion deficit reduction, but rolls back the timetable for eliminating the deficit from eight years to fifteen.
On the pro-life front, the plan calls for eliminating the taxpayer funding Planned Parenthood receives via US Departments of Labor and Health & Human Services (HHS), as well as funding for the pro-abortion United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). It would also strengthen federal conscience protections by adopting the Conscience Protection Act. (Read more)
- We praise you God for yet another win in defunding abortion and protecting the sanctity of life. We know that you are extremely pleased with President Trump and his administration's efforts in this area. And we know that they are storing up great rewards in heaven for defending life. Amen!
- "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal." (Matthew 6:20)
