I was once told if we're not careful, 2 percent of the passionate will control 98 percent of the indifferent 100 percent of the time.
The more I've thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life. Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation's history. These passionate 2 percent appear to be winning.
Despite there being countless good people trying to come to grips with everything else on their plates, our silent majority (the indifferent) can no longer be silent. If the United States wants to survive the onslaught of socialism, if we are to continue to enjoy self-government and the liberty of our hard-fought freedoms, we have to understand there are two opposing forces: One is the "children of light" and the other is the "children of darkness."
As I recently wrote, the art and exercise of self-governance require active participation by every American. I wasn't kidding! And voting is only part of that active participation. Time and again, the silent majority have been overwhelmed by the "audacity and resolve" of small, well-organized, passionate groups. It's now time for us, the silent majority (the indifferent), to demonstrate both.
The trials of our current times, like warfare, are immense and consequences severe and these seem inconquerable.
As a policewoman from Virginia told me, "People don't feel safe in their homes and our police force is so demoralized we cannot function as we should. In my 23 years with my department, I have never seen morale so low."
Another woman from Mississippi told me that we need our leaders to "drop a forceful hammer. People are losing patience. It simply must be stopped! Laws MUST be enforced . . . no one is above the law." Don't fret. Through smart, positive actions of resolute citizen-patriots, we can prevail. Always keep in mind that our enemy (these dark forces) invariably have difficulties of which we are ignorant.
For most Americans, these forces appear to be strong. I sense they are desperate. I also sense that only a slight push on our part is all that is required to defeat these forces. How should that push come? Prayers help and prayers matter, but action is also a remedy. Our law enforcement professionals, from the dispatcher to the detective and from the cop to the commissioner, are a line of defense against the corrupt and the criminal. It is how we remain (for now) in a state of relatively peaceful existence.

Focus on Israel
1. Netanyahu accuses attorney general of orchestrating a coup against him - JNS
(July 1, 2020 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday accused the country's attorney general, Avichai Mandelblit, of orchestrating a coup attempt, just hours after Mandelblit officially opposed Netanyahu's request that he be allowed to receive NIS 10 million ($3 million) from U.S. businessman Spencer Partrich to defray the costs of his criminal trial.
In a legal opinion released by the Justice Ministry on Tuesday, Mandelblit told the permits committee at the State Comptroller's Office, to which the premier had submitted a request that he be allowed to accept the funds, that he opposed the request. The attorney general said that the money was tantamount to a gift, and thus illegal for a public official to receive under Israeli law, and that furthermore Partrich is also a witness in one of the cases against Netanyahu.
Sources close to Netanyahu said on Tuesday in response that "the attorney general's conflicts of interest cry out to heaven. On the one hand, he submits a baseless indictment against the prime minister, while on the other he does everything possible to prevent the prime minister from being able to defend himself."
2. US seeking Israeli gesture toward Palestinians to offset annexation - TV report - Times of Israel
The Trump administration is reportedly pushing Israel to offer the Palestinians some sort of compensation in exchange for the unilateral annexation of some of the West Bank land they want for their future state.
Among the ideas is transferring an area to the Palestinians where they can build without limits, or redefining some Area C lands, where Israel maintains full control, as Area B, where Palestinians have civil control, Channel 12 reported Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Kan public broadcaster reported that Israeli officials have passed along to the White House a slightly edited version of the Trump peace plan's conceptual map that better connects a group of at least 15 isolated settlements to the rest of the West Bank territory the proposal envisions Israel annexing.
While the plan sees these communities being transformed into enclaves surrounded by the future Palestinian state, the report said that the edited map drawn up by the Israeli team would allow for the annexation of additional land surrounding those settlements so that they do not remain enclaves. In exchange, the Israeli side redrew the conceptual map to give to the Palestinians land in the Judaean Desert that Israel views as less integral. (Read more)

3. State investigating possible hack into Netanyahu bribery case files - Jerusalem Post
The prosecution is secretly probing whether some of its computer files relating to the bribery case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were hacked, Channel 13 reported Wednesday night.
The Justice Ministry refused to confirm or deny the report to The Jerusalem Post.
According to the report, a prosecutor at some unspecified time logged on to the staff's files only to find certain files missing.
It turned out that new unexpected access had been granted to the files to previously unauthorized persons, leading to the secret probe.
Channel 13 said that the files were eventually salvaged.
4. 773 Cases of COVID-19 Overnight, Death Toll at 320 - Jewish Press
Israel's Health Ministry reported Wednesday that a record-breaking 773 Israelis were diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19, in the previous 24-hour period.
The figure represented the highest number of Israelis contracting the virus in one days since the start of the pandemic in the country four months ago.
At present there are a total of 7,838 Israelis struggling with COVID-19 in the country. Of those, 234 Israelis are hospitalized: 56 are in very serious condition, including 24 requiring ventilator support and 59 in fair or "moderate" condition; the rest are in good condition. One person died from the virus Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 320.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 25,547 Israelis diagnosed with the virus; 17,389 have recovered from the illness.

Newly discovered double seal uncovered in Jerusalem sheds light on how Jerusalemites survived Babylonian invasion.
How did Jerusalem deal with the tremendous destruction wrought upon her by the Babylonian army in the 6th century BCE? A double stamp impression on a bulla and a seal made of re-used pottery shards may provide an answer to this question.
6. As annexation start date comes and goes, Netanyahu presses on with US talks - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will continue to discuss a possible annexation of parts of the West Bank with the US administration, his office said in a statement Wednesday, the target day the premier had set to begin the contentious process.
At the same time, Netanyahu convened top Israeli security brass, including National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabbat on Wednesday, to discuss the issue, the statement said.
"In the coming days there will be additional discussions," it added.
The statement came amid uncertainty over whether Israel will ultimately follow through on the explosive annexation initiative, which has drawn fierce condemnations from some of Israel's closest allies.
7. Vatican summons US, Israeli envoys over annexation moves - Jerusalem Post
The Vatican, in a highly unusual move, summoned both the US and Israeli ambassadors to express the Holy See's concern about Israel's moves to extend its sovereignty to Jewish settlements and the Jordan Valley in the West Bank.
A Vatican statement on Wednesday said meetings with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican's secretary of state, and US Ambassador Callista Gingrich and Israeli Ambassador Oren David, took place on Tuesday.
A senior diplomatic source told Reuters that Parolin met the two envoys separately, a detail which was not clear in the Vatican statement.
It said Parolin, the Vatican's top diplomat, expressed "the concern of the Holy See regarding possible unilateral actions that may further jeopardize the search for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as the delicate situation in the Middle East".
Israeli leaders decided in May that cabinet and parliamentary deliberations on extending Israeli sovereignty to Jewish settlements and the Jordan Valley in the West Bank, in coordination with Washington, could begin as of July 1.
But with no agreement with Washington yet on the modalities of the move under a peace proposal announced by U.S. President Donald Trump in January, and talks with the White House still underway, no cabinet session was scheduled for Wednesday.

1. US Supreme Court: States Can't Exclude Religious Schools From Private Education Scholarship Programs - Christian News
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled 5-4, with Chief Justice John Roberts siding with his conservative colleagues this time, that the State of Montana can't exclude religious schools from a program that allows scholarships to be awarded to families for the attendance of private schools. A state need not subsidize private education. But once a state decides to do so, it cannot disqualify some private schools solely because they are religious," wrote Roberts on behalf of the majority. Article X, Section VI of the Montana Constitution states, "The legislature, counties, cities, towns, school districts, and public corporations shall not make any direct or indirect appropriation or payment from any public fund or monies, or any grant of lands or other property for any sectarian purpose or to aid any church, school, academy, seminary, college, university, or other literary or scientific institution, controlled in whole or in part by any church, sect, or denomination."

2. 1 in 5 Ballots Rejected as Fraud Charged in New Jersey Mail-In Election - Daily Signal
Following accusations of widespread fraud, voter intimidation, and ballot theft in the May 12 municipal elections in Paterson, New Jersey, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal announced Thursday he is charging four men with voter fraud-including the vice president of the City Council and a candidate for that body.
With races still undecided, control of the council hangs in the balance. Paterson is New Jersey's third-largest city and the election will decide the fate of a municipal budget in excess of $300 million, in addition to hundreds of millions more in education spending and state aid.
In the City Council election, 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots were received, but only 13,557 votes were counted. More than 3,190 votes, 19% of the total ballots cast, were disqualified by the board of elections.

3. DNC Calls Mt. Rushmore July 4th Celebration 'White Supremacy' Rally, Scrambles To Take It Back - Western Journalism
Every once in a while, Democrats let Americans know how they really feel about their country. And a Twitter post Monday night was one of those occasions, when the official account of the Democratic National Committee published - then deleted - a tweet implicitly deriding Mount Rushmore, a tribute to some of the nation's greatest heroes, as a triumphalist monument built on lands Native Americans held sacred, and an Independence Day celebration as nothing more than a "white supremacy" rally.
It was enough to raise the question of whether Democrats consider themselves "Americans" at all.
Naturally, the Twitter post was directed at President Donald Trump and his plans to celebrate the Independence Day weekend Friday at the South Dakota symbol, which bears the images of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

4. Roberts' Footnote in Abortion Ruling Worries Abortion Advocates - Newsmax
Chief Justice John Roberts has been ruling with liberal justices in recent abortion cases, including a Monday opinion striking down a Louisiana law that requires doctors to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. The ruling was a blow to the pro-life community, and was celebrated by pro-choice advocates, but The Daily Caller notes that a footnote in Roberts' opinion has some abortion advocates concerned.
In that footnote, Roberts says, "I agree with JUSTICE ALITO that the validity of admitting privileges laws 'depend[s] on numerous factors that may differ from State to State.'"
Such language could open the door to different rulings in different states, pro-choice advocates fear. Julie Rikelman, who successfully argued against Louisiana's law before the Supreme Court for the Center for Reproductive Rights said that the footnote language was "obviously concerning for us."
"Roberts clearly did say that this law is unconstitutional, that it imposes an undue burden to abortion access in Louisiana," Rikelman told CNN. "What the other parts of the opinion will mean will play out in the coming years. We think the opinion did muddy the waters a bit, and so will lead to more litigation rather than less."

5. Seattle Police Clear Autonomous Zone After Mayor Declares Unlawful Assembly - NTD
Seattle officials are finally clearing the so-called autonomous zone after weeks of refusing to use force to do so.
Police officers equipped with protective gear began clearing tents and barricades at the zone in the Capitol Hill neighborhood early Wednesday, arresting at least 13 people who refused to comply with the order to disperse. They were enforcing an edict from Mayor Jenny Durkan.
Durkan, a Democrat, declared the occupation of the area an "unlawful assembly."
"The City's obligations under the First Amendment do not require the City to provide limitless sanctuary to occupy City property, damage City and private property, obstruct the right of way, or foster dangerous conditions," an executive order made public on Wednesday stated.

6. Trump 2020 campaign reshuffles; Brad Parscale stays put - Fox News
Ten days after President Trump's rally in Tulsa, Okla., there has been a shake-up in the Trump 2020 campaign.
Michael Glassner, organizer of the president's rallies, has been reassigned, and Jeff DeWit, who served as Arizona chairman of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, has joined the 2020 staff as chief operating officer.
Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale is staying put despite reportedly taking heavy criticism after a lower-than-expected crowd turnout in Tulsa.
News of the shake-up was first reported by Axios.
Trump 2020 campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh confirmed the staffing changes in a statement to Fox News.
"This is not a reaction to Tulsa," Murtaugh said. "Michael Glassner is moving into the long-term role of navigating the many legal courses we face, including suits against major media outlets, some of which will likely extend beyond the end of the campaign.

7. Seattle Doctor Charged with COVID Relief Fraud - Justice.gov
The Department of Justice announced in a press release on Tuesday that a doctor in Seattle has been arrested and charged with COVID relief fraud, on allegations that he tried to obtain over $3 million in PPP loans from the federal government based on employees and payroll expenses he did not have.
The press release provides the following details:
Dr. Eric R. Shibley, 41, of Seattle, Washington, was charged by criminal complaint, unsealed today upon his arrest, in the Western District of Washington with one count of wire fraud and one count of bank fraud. He is expected to make his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michelle L. Peterson at 2 p.m. PDT today.
The complaint alleges that Shibley submitted several fraudulent PPP loan applications to federally insured financial institutions, other U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)-approved lenders, and the SBA in the names of businesses with no actual operations or by misrepresenting the business's eligibility. In the applications, Shibley allegedly misrepresented the number of employees and payroll expenses in several applications and concealed his own criminal history.

8. Senate agrees to extend small business rescue in surprise move - Politico
The Senate in a surprising move Tuesday evening passed legislation that would keep the government's massive small business rescue program alive just as it was set to close down within hours with $130 billion left unspent.
The bill approved by unanimous consent would give the Small Business Administration authority to continue approving Paycheck Protection Program loans, which can be turned into grants, until Aug. 8. To keep the loans flowing, the House would need to pass the legislation and send it to President Donald Trump for his signature.
Senators reached a consensus after it became clear in recent weeks that struggling employers would need further federal aid. As of Tuesday evening, the SBA had approved $520.6 billion via nearly 4.9 million loans.

9. TheWashington Post declared it has disproven President Donald Trump's claim that "the 20 most dangerous cities are Democrat-run" by affirming that 17 of the 20 most violent have Democrat mayors. - Brietbart
Columnist Phillip Bump explained, "It's not clear how Trump is defining 'most dangerous' in this context. So let's look at two related sets of data compiled by the FBI: most violent crime and most violent crime per capita."
In his analysis, Bump pointed to an FBI list of the 20 cities with the most violent crime, the top 10 of which all have Democrat mayors:

So on the straightforward list of most violent cities, 17 of 20 have a Democrat mayor. For incidents per 10,000 people, 19 out of the top 20 have a Democrat mayor.

10. Dow caps off best quarter since 1987 as strong economic data drives gains- Business Insider
US stocks rose on Tuesday as better-than-expected economic data outweighed mounting concern over a second wave of COVID-19 cases.
The Dow Jones industrial average's 18% gain in the three-month period from April through June marked the index's best quarterly return since 1987. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 saw its best gain since 1998 during the period, while the Nasdaq capped off its best quarter since 2001.
Equities got a lift from data showing US consumer confidence jumped in June by the most since 2011, exceeding consensus economist forecasts.

Trying to understand
A lot of research and study of history prompted me to reduce this issue to a couple of concepts that sincere and empathetic minds can embrace, or reject, depending on your state of mind and heart. But at least walk with me for a bit. Hear me out. The Declaration of Independence says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." The exception was the slave institution in existence from the early 1600s until in 1865 when slavery was abolished by the Constitution's 13th Amendment. From 1789 until 1865, slaves were counted as 3/5 of a man.
While America abolished slavery and attempted through Special Orders to allocate 40 acres of land to freed slaves, Democratic President Andrew Johnson, who took office after Lincoln's assassination, returned that land to southern owners, granted amnesty to most Confederates, and allowed the rebel states to elect new governments. The Democrats in local, state and federal government then enacted Jim Crow Laws that for over 100 years from 1865 to the late 1960s oppressed blacks by mandating the segregation of public schools, public places, and public transportation, housing, and of restrooms, drinking fountains, and restaurants. The result was definitely separate, but not equal. Laws allowed arresting blacks for the smallest of crimes to be incarcerated to hard labor and would never be allowed to vote, thus perpetuating slavery.
These "separate but equal" laws began to be deconstructed with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, although these reforms were opposed by Democrats at all levels of government well into the 1970s. Keep in mind that police were enforcing these mandates for over 100 years. So when the words "systemic racism" are used, this is what is meant. It is not as simple as ending slavery or segregation. It is deep-rooted both consciously and unconsciously, resulting in tremendous disparities in income, housing, education, criminal codes and so on for generations. There is certainly a political cause rooted in racism and hatred. The sum of the parts add up to what we have today underscored by senseless deaths, distrust, cause hijackers, and violence. The answer may be found in the love of Christ and the Christian response.

President Trump to Visit Mt. Rushmore
Trump to visit Mount Rushmore for fireworks display on July 3
President Trump will travel to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota on July 3 to watch a fireworks display.
Trump confirmed the visit during a radio interview Friday with conservative pundit and news aggregator Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent.
"I got fireworks. For 20 years or something it hasn't been allowed for environmental reasons, you believe that one? It's all stone," Trump said. "I got it approved, so I'm going to go there on July 3 and they're gonna have the big fireworks."
The massive stone monument to four presidents hasn't seen a fireworks display since 2008 due to fire concerns. Trump authorized the resumption earlier this year. He announced that decision in January when GOP South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem visited the White House.

Gov. Kristi Noem (R-S.D.) powerfully shot down the idea. "Not on my watch," she tweeted.
When the rioters toppled the Washington statue, they spray-painted "1619" on it, echoing The New York Times's "1619 Project," which aims to redefine American history by making the arrival of the first slaves in 1619 the focal point, rather than the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The 1619 Project justifies scrapping the entire American project - which has bolstered freedom and prosperity across the globe - in the name of racial justice.
President Donald Trump has announced he would lay down the law to stop the vandals and statue-topplers, and it appears Kristi Noem has a similar fortitude on this issue. As Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) warned, "We cannot tolerate mob rule and we cannot allow it to go unpunished."

IT'S TIME FOR YOU AND ME TO STOP THE MAYHEM IN OUR CITIES
The Black Lives Matter movement is not a majority-not even close. Its agenda, which is to destroy America, can be resisted and defeated. But not if ordinary Americans like you remain silent. As bad as the images and the threats seem-as misguided as the news media and big corporations like Coca Cola, and Verizon are-the biggest threat is the silence of the majority. But breaking that silence will be the undoing of this rioting, looting, and desecration of monuments.
I am not saying it is not a dangerous situation. I am not saying this terrorist movement will go away easily. I understand the reluctance of many of my fellow Americans, because this is such a new horror.

When did it become racist to like the national anthem and Mount Rushmore? At what point did we decide George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were moral monsters, or that all police are racist thugs? We know why they are not enforcing the law: it is because they hate Trump. These officials that run the protest cities are putting political gain above the safety and sanity of the people they swore to serve and protect. Worst of all, they are demoralizing the police. They have disbanded law enforcement. I can't think of anything so villainous as their decision to abandon single mothers, the elderly, and shut-ins who tremble helplessly in fear in these neighborhoods.
The core leadership of BLM admits they are Marxists. Yet, they are either ignorant or hypocritical. Karl Marx was an avowed racist. You should Google what he said about black people, Jews, and Mexicans . . . yes, Mexicans. 'BLM Marxist' is a self-cancelling label. To Marxists, NO LIVES MATTER. Only the revolution matters. This is why the historic death toll of Marxist revolutions is now over 100 million.

Worship leader hits out at social media censorship of Bible verses
and praise videos
Worship leader Sean Feucht has criticised the "crazy" censorship of Christian posts on Instagram and Twitter. He said fans had got in touch with him to tell him that his posts about Christian worship had been blocked. The posts showed some of the live worship he and other Christians have been taking part in at anti-racism protests in the US following the death of George Floyd.
"I'm a leader in the faith community. I'm also an artist and I have a worship and missions ministry," Feucht told Fox News. "One of the things we've been doing since [the recent U.S. protests] started happening is, we've been going to a lot of these places and bringing a unified - black, white Hispanic, Asian - just a unified coalition of people together, worshiping and praying, and peacefully protesting."
He continued: "I noticed the videos were being suppressed and they weren't getting the normal traction. But I didn't know this was the reason until I started getting tagged in people's posts about it... So I blew the trumpet on it because this is crazy." It's not only Twitter that's blocked his posts. Feucht shared a screengrab of a praise video that had been blocked by Instagram.
Other Christians have been affected too, with Feucht sharing screengrabs of the suspended Twitter account of Bethel Church leader Beni Johnson. Visitors to Johnson's account - @prayfor5, which had 32,000 followers - are greeted with the message, "This tweet is from an account that no longer exists."
The post quoted the Bible verse Psalm 34:14, which reads, "Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." "Not only is big tech blocking worship videos, now they're blocking Bible verses about PEACE! ... Social media needs more peace, more worship, and less censorship of Jesus followers. @prayfor5," Feucht wrote.
In another post, he said, "This is what we've come to in America! Instagram is now classifying my WORSHIP videos as 'harmful or false information.' Religious Liberty? Freedom of Speech? Big Tech censorship?"
He added: "While @Facebook @instagram @Twitter promote the content of violence, rioting & destruction, they are actively CENSORING worship, prayer, peaceful protest & anything going against their fear-mongering narrative. My feed and many others is proof. #ChangeTheNarrative"
The censorship has been criticised by US President Donald Trump, who tweeted: "Wake up America. There's nothing sacred anymore. There's nothing the leftists & the social media masters won't try to censor/destroy to push their narrative."

Donald Trump Square Fountain Runs Blood-Red in Israel Annexation Protest
TEL AVIV - A fountain in Donald Trump Square in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva was turned red on Monday, after anti-sovereignty activists dyed the water with food coloring and graffitied the words "annexation will cost us blood" at the site.
The vandalism at the fountain, which was inaugurated last year in honor of the Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, was the latest in a series of acts of protests over Israel's plans to apply sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.
Some Israelis fear the measure, which would start as early as Wednesday, could spark violence and Palestinian terrorism.
A poll released by the Israel Democracy Institute earlier this month found just over half of Israelis support the government's plans to annex
The fountain includes a sculpture with the Israeli and American flags and a sign that hails Trump for being "the first to acknowledge Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel." The Trump administration's "vision for peace" sees Israel annexing 30 percent of the West Bank and the Jordan Valley. It also delineates a demilitarized Palestinian state established on most of the West Bank with parts of eastern Jerusalem that are outside the Israeli security fence as its capital.
If Israel goes ahead with the plans, the Palestinian leadership warned it would unilaterally declare a state based on the pre-1967 lines.
Jordan has warned of a "massive conflict" if Israel proceeds with the plan, raising concerns the Hashemite Kingdom may even cancel its peace treaty with the Jewish state.
Several European states have also warned both Israel and the U.S. against the move.

'Very Rare Find': Israeli Archaeologists Discover Ancient Artifacts from the Time of Ezra, Nehemiah
(Jerusalem, Israel) - [CBN News] The Israel Antiquities Authority on Tuesday announced that it has uncovered remnants from Babylon's destruction of Jerusalem during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah.
Excavators uncovered a seal and a bullae-a seal impression use to sign documents or containers during ancient times-in the Givati Parking Lot Excavation of the City of David in Jerusalem. These two artifacts were found next to the rubble of a structure that was destroyed during the 6th century BC by the Babylonians.
"Despite the numerous excavations conducted in Jerusalem to date, so far the findings revealed from the Persian period are extremely meager and therefore we lack information regarding the character and appearance of the city during this period," Prof. Yuval Gadot of the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures at Tel Aviv University, and Dr. Yiftah Shalev of the Israel Antiquities Authority said in a statement.
The researchers said the finding was very rare and reveals just how badly Jerusalem was damaged during the Babylonian destruction.
