Today is Day 18 of 21 Days
Our verse to claim for today:
PSALM 110:3 (NASB)
It is written:
"Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power . . ."
Our Prayer:
Father God, today we worship You and You only in Spirit and in Truth. Lord God, we also look to You daily to guide our days.
We now ask that Your Spirit would draw MANY to enter into the closet of intercession, laying this election before Your Throne of Grace. Let our words of supplication be Your words and let our groanings be Your groanings, amen.
Father God, we note that it is written that "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself." (James 2:17) Accordingly, in addition to offering prayers for this election, we ask that You show us how and when and where to take action in our communities . Guide us, O Lord, as we distribute leaflets for the candidates of Your choosing, and as we take our positions at the polling places, serving as poll watchers.
Teach us and guide us, O Lord, we pray, amen.

Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America.
