Laying Siege over the Election Results

Thursday, October 12, 2020

Today's topic:

Bringing the MEDIA under the Control of Jesus Christ
(Part One - Election Night)

Our verse to claim for today:

2 THESSALONIANS 2:3 (NAS)

It is written:

"Let no man deceive you . . ."

Our commentary:

If we have ever needed proof that the mainstream media is not our friend, Election Day sealed it. By the end of that day, every major network -- including Fox News -- had declared that Joe Biden had won Election 2020. These included: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Sadly, this has since proven to be untrue. In state after state, evidence of major fraud has shown that the opposite was indeed true: President Donald John Trump has won this election by a landslide!

Today, this battle is now being fought on two fronts: in recounts in many states and at the courts. As believers, we must continue to wage spiritual warfare until every single vote has been counted and all ballots are recognized. Let us pray . . .

Our Prayer:

Father God, once again, we bring this critical matter to You, and to the Cross. As difficult as this is, we must move in obedience to the leading of Your Spirit and to the commandments of the Scripture. We say, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

Lord God, this prayer goes against our very nature as American citizens, for we now see clearly that socialists and communists have taken key, "gatekeeper" postiions, and are bent upon destroying the very foundation of our government. We are to be a free people, and not under tyranny, but if they have their way, we will be left as simple, helpless citizens -- set on earth to carry out only the will of our masters.

How can this be, O Lord, and how can we EVER ask You to forgive them? . . . We can, because You spoke those very same words when You hung upon that Cross, while Your enemies were bartering at Your feet for your garments . . .

O Lord, please forgive our near-sightedness! Help us instead to "die to self" and to "live in Christ" that Your will be fulfilled on earth . . .and in the hearts of these media moguls who, for now, are trying to take us down. Let this not be, O Lord, let this not be!

In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

Focus on Israel

1.Malawi announces plans to be first African country in decades to open embassy in Jerusalem - Christian Post

The majority-Christian nation of Malawi in southeastern Africa has announced plans to open an embassy in Israel and place it in Jerusalem by the summer of 2021. Malawi, whose president is a former pastor in the Assemblies of God denomination, will be the third country to open an embassy in Jerusalem.

During his visit to Israel, Malawi Foreign Minister Eisenhower Mkaka issued a video statement, calling the decision a "bold and significant step," as Malawi will be the first African nation to have an embassy in Jerusalem, according to Reuters.

Alongside Mkaka, his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazi, said, "I look forward to your embassy opening soon, and I'm sure that more African leaders will follow this decision."

Ashkenazi added, "Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the State of Israel, will be a bridge of peace for the whole world, and I call on more countries to follow in Malawi's path and move their embassies to Jerusalem, the capital of Israel," according to The Jerusalem Post.

Mkaka also congratulated Israel on its newly established relations with Arab and Muslim states under U.S.-brokered deals under President Trump's administration.

2. IDF on alert for attack on 1st anniversary of killing Islamic Jihad leader - Times of Israel

The Israel Defense Forces went on heightened alert Wednesday, sending additional air defenses to southern Israel, ahead of the one-year anniversary of the killing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Baha Abu al-Ata, out of concerns the terror group may mark the occasion with an attack.

In addition to more Iron Dome missile defense batteries deployed to the south, flights into and out of Israel appeared to have been directed to use Ben Gurion International Airport's northern paths, keeping them farther from the Gaza Strip.

These changes in air traffic routes - visible with civilian flight path tracking software - is generally seen when there is active fighting or expectations of it. A spokesperson for the Israel Airports Authority did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the matter.

3. Israel's first municipal delegation to UAE discusses agriculture, water - Jerusalem Post

A delegation of businessmen from the Samaria Regional Council, led by Council Chairman Yossi Dagan, held a series of economic meetings to discuss future collaborations on the topics of water desalination and agricultural technologies in Dubai this week, making it the first municipal authority from Israel to send a delegation to Dubai.

Dagan, landed in Dubai earlier this week, heading of a delegation of factory and company managers and businessmen from the Samaria region and its industrial zone, flying in on the first commercial flight from Tel Aviv to Dubai.

In a marathon of business meetings, the manufacturers, along with Dagan, met with about 20 businessmen and large companies in the fields of agriculture, pesticides and plastics, as well as with companies that are interested in fast-growing crops.

This, due to the coronavirus crisis that has forced the UAE to rely more heavily on local crops and pest control companies.

4. Israeli health officials: 2 vaccines may be available by end of 2020 - YNET News

After Moderna on Wednesday, announced its coronavirus vaccine could receive emergency use approval in December, The Knowledge and Information Center in the Health Ministry said that if that company's third phase trial results are similar to those announced by Pfizer on Monday, there may be two vaccines approved by the end of 2020.

Speaking at the Credit Suisse Virtual Healthcare Conference, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel said interim results of the company's Phase III trial are due in November.

Israel has already signed an agreement with Moderna for the supply of vaccines for the Israeli population.

In a statement, the ministry noted the Pfizer vaccine trial has yet to undergo peer review and it is unclear from the information already available whether the vaccine would prevent contagion or only prevent the development of serious illness as a result.

5. Fortress from time of King David found in Golan Heights - World Israel News

A fortified complex from the time of King David was exposed or the first time in archaeological excavations carried out by IAA in Hispin in the Golan Heights.

The archaeologists consider that the fort was built by the kingdom of Geshur, the ally of King David, in order to control the region.

The excavation was undertaken prior to the construction of a new neighborhood in Hispin, and funded by the Ministry of Housing and Construction and the Golan Regional Council, with the participation of many local residents.

According to Barak Tzin and Enno Bron, excavation directors on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, "The complex we exposed was built at a strategic location on the small hilltop, above the El-Al canyon, overlooking the region, at a spot where it was possible to cross the river."

1. Trump Campaign Hopeful Lawsuit in Pennsylvania Will Trigger Recount - NTD

It's increasingly likely that the courts will decide the fate of Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, and with that, nudge the eventual presidential winner across the finish line. On Nov. 9, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit against Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and seven county boards of election-Allegheny, Centre, Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Northampton.

The lawsuit claims that "almost every critical aspect" of Pennsylvania's Nov. 3 election was "effectively shrouded in secrecy." It alleges that the Pennsylvania election process violated the Constitution by creating different standards of verification and transparency for mail-in and in-person voters, as well as disparate treatment of Republican and Democrat voters and poll watchers.

An automatic recount is triggered if the margin of victory is less than or equal to 0.5 percent, but would have to be ordered by the secretary of state no later than 5 p.m. on the second Thursday following the election.

Pennsylvania, like most other states, used widespread mail-in ballots this year, which has long been regarded as the "the largest source of potential voter fraud," as outlined in the 2005 Carter-Baker Report.

- Lord, we pray that You will bring to light all of the hidden things of darkness that have been involved in this election. We declare that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, not lies, nor deception nor wicked plans.

- "Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known." (Luke 12:2)

2. Tens of Thousands of Pennsylvania Ballots Returned Earlier Than Sent Date: Researcher - Epoch Times

More than 20,000 absentee ballots in Pennsylvania have impossible return dates and another more than 80,000 have return dates that raise questions, according to a researcher's analysis of the state's voter database.

Over 51,000 ballots were marked as returned just a day after they were sent out-an extraordinary speed, given U.S. Postal Service (USPS) delivery times, while nearly 35,000 were returned on the same day they were mailed out. Another more than 23,000 have a return date earlier than the sent date. More than 9,000 have no sent date.

The state's voter records are being scrutinized as President Donald Trump is challenging the results of the presidential election in Pennsylvania and other states where his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, holds a tight lead. The Trump campaign is alleging that invalid ballots have been counted for Democrats and valid ballots for Republicans were thrown away.

The analysis of the publicly available data was conducted by a data researcher who submitted it first to the Chinese-language edition of The Epoch Times. The researcher, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he consulted about the matter with several USPS field engineers, who said the return dates shown in the database are "impossible."

3. Pfizer's Big Coronavirus Vaccine Announcement: How Soon Could Your Life Return to Normal? - Christian Breaking News

Pfizer, with a German partner, is ramping up production on the drug with hopes it will be approved by the end of the year. If that happens, the company expects to produce enough for about 25 million people worldwide in the near term.

The first to get the vaccine would be healthcare workers and groups like seniors who are most at risk. But it's expected to take a few more months before it's available for regular citizens. Pfizer is now planning to ask the FDA for emergency use authorization of the drug as soon as next week but it could be late spring before it's distributed to the general population.

And some tough months could still be ahead with the US now reporting more than 10 million cases and five straight days with more than 100,000 new cases.

4. Fox News cuts away from Kayleigh McEnany's speech on allegations of voter fraud - The Blaze

Fox News host Neil Cavuto interrupted the network's live feed of a Trump campaign speech from White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Monday, telling viewers he could not "in good countenance continue showing" it due to her allegations of voter fraud in the contested election between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

McEnany, who was joined by Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, explained that she was attending in her "personal capacity" as an adviser to the Trump campaign before saying, "This election is not over. Far from it. We have only begun the process of obtaining an accurate, honest vote count."

"We are fighting for the rights of all Americans who want to have faith and confidence not only in this election, but in any elections to come," she said. "There is only one party in America that opposes voter I.D. One party in America that opposes verifying signatures, citizenship, residency, eligibility. There is only one party in America trying to keep observers out of the count room. And that party, my friends, is the Democrat party.

5. White House National Security Council Aide Is Named to Top Pentagon Post - Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON-President Trump has installed a National Security Council official and former congressional aide as chief of staff to new acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, as he continues to shake up the Pentagon's top ranks in his final months in office, officials said.

The Pentagon said Kash Patel, who was a Republican aide on Capitol Hill and now works for the White House National Security Council, has been named Mr. Miller's chief of staff.

Mr. Miller, who had been director of the National Counterterrorism Center, was tapped for the acting defense secretary post on Monday, after Mr. Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

The appointment of Mr. Patel, who replaces Mr. Esper's chief of staff, Jen Stewart, signaled to some in the Pentagon that a White House ally would be near the department's top leadership. The defense secretary's chief of staff is one of the most important civilian posts in the Pentagon because the occupant of the position shapes the secretary's agenda.

6. Cal Cunningham concedes to Thom Tillis in North Carolina Senate race - Fox News

Democratic candidate Cal Cunningham conceded to Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., on Tuesday in North Carolina's Senate race, a week after voters went to the polls.

I just called Senator Tillis to congratulate him on winning reelection to a second term in the U.S. Senate and wished him and his family the best in their continued service in the months and years ahead," Cunningham said in a statement.

Tillis' win means Republicans now take the lead in the battle for the Senate, with the GOP holding 49 seats, and Democrats holding 48. Three seats are left: Alaska, where Republicans are leading, and in Georgia, where there will be two runoff elections in January. Republicans are angling for at least two of those to keep control.

- Father God, we pray that You would continue to enlighten the eyes of Your people on who to vote for. Teach them how vital the body of Christ is in bringing heaven to earth, and how voting for life, justice, and righteousness is an important task. In Jesus name amen.

- And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:18-19)

7. Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan wins reelection, giving GOP 50 seats in Senate - Fox News

Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan on Wednesday won reelection over Democratic challenger Al Gross, putting Republicans at 50 seats in the U.S. Senate compared to Democrats' 48, according to a projection from the Associated Press.

The results came eight days after Election Day. Sullivan was ahead of Gross by about 20 points Wednesday, according to results.

"I want to congratulate my fellow Marine, Senator Dan Sullivan on his victory," National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., said in a Wednesday statement. "Alaskans know Dan as a man who always puts service before self and who has championed the unique needs of his state in Washington. The state will be well served with another six years of his representation."

8. Top policy, intelligence civilians resign amid Pentagon shakeup - defense news

The Pentagon Tuesday confirmed the resignations of the department's top civilian officials for policy and intelligence, a day after Defense Secretary Mark Esper was forced out by President Donald Trump.

Anthony Tata, a retired Army brigadier general and Fox News guest who was placed in the Pentagon amid controversy, will lead the Pentagon's policy shop for the remainder of the Trump administration following the exit of James Anderson as part of what appears to be a broad shakeup of Department of Defense leadership.

Ezra Cohen-Watnick, who entered the Trump administration as an aide to National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, will replace undersecretary of defense for intelligence Joseph Kernan, a retired Navy vice admiral who was confirmed in November 2017. Kernan and Anderson both submitted their resignations today. Per the Pentagon, Kernan had planned for "several months" to retire.

9. McEnany Announces 234 Pages of Affidavits Alleging Election Irregularities in Michigan - Epoch Times

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany late Tuesday announced 234 pages of what she said were sworn affidavits alleging election irregularities in a county in Michigan.

McEnany appeared alongside Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel on Fox News' "Hannity," where she shared several allegations listed in the affidavits-statements made under penalty of perjury-from Wayne County.

"We keep hearing the drumbeat of 'where is the evidence?' Right here, Sean, 234 pages of sworn affidavits, these are real people, real allegations, signed with notaries," McEnany said.

"They're alleging-this is one county, Wayne County, Michigan-they are saying that there was a batch of ballots where 60 percent had the same signature," she told host Sean Hannity. "They're saying that 35 ballots had no voter record but they were counted anyway, that 50 ballots were run multiple times through a tabulation machine."

10. Trump Wins Alaska Over Biden: Projection - Epoch Times

President Donald Trump won the state of Alaska in the 2020 election, according to a projection on Nov. 11. Trump won the state's three electoral votes, Decision Desk projected.

Requests for comment sent to Trump's campaign and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's campaign weren't immediately returned.

Trump now has 232 electoral votes, according to projections. A win requires 270 or more. Biden is projected to have 279 and has been declared the winner by a number of organizations, including Decision Desk.

Presidential election-what the Constitution says

The 12th and 20th Amendments to the Constitution cite the procedure of choosing a president if the electoral college is unable to reach a majority. Meantime, the process of determining how the electoral college is to vote needs to be exhausted. This is why it is important to conduct recounts and come to a conclusion about eliminating illegally cast ballots. Another law, cited by Judicial Watch, 3 U.S. Code § 1, states: "The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year succeeding every election of a President and Vice President." This appears to establish the deadline of election day for votes to be counted.

Concerning this, the 12th Amendment reads: "and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.

"The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

The 20th Amendment Section 3 adds that: "Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified." A layman's reading of this seems to say that all votes must be counted by election day and there is a clear path for choosing a president if the electors are unable to determine a winner. This would disqualify ballots appearing after the polls close and if the electoral college is deadlocked, it sets forth how Congress determines a president and vice president. Let the process play out. Meantime, 1 Corinthians 16:13 says, "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong." I will take this advice.

Protesters to Converge on D.C. this Weekend

Protestors to Converge on D.C. this Weekend

WTOP News Radio here in Washington, D.C. is reporting that hundreds of protestors will converge on the city this weekend to demand that President Trump concedes the election.

Meanwhile, about the same number of demonstrators are also set to descend upon the city, demanding that Joe Biden will stand down.

The report indicated that, in addition, numerous local and federal authorities are monitoring this situation and will have their own "police force" in place to quell any anticipated violence. At the same time, many of the streets in the city, near the White House, will be shut down, so traffic will be a mess, too.
