Coronavirus Update
Adviser to Iran's Supreme leader dies from coronavirus, as other top officials infected
An adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died from the new coronavirus, as other top officials in the country are confirmed to be infected, according to multiple reports on Monday.
The Iranian Health Ministry recorded 523 new cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the country's known total to 1,501. They mark a 53 percent increase since the day before.
Mohammad Mirmohammadi, 71, was an Expediency Council member who advised Khamenei and settled disputes between him and parliament. COVID-19 has already infected Iran's vice president and deputy health minister.
His death comes after the government on Monday rejected help from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who announced last week the U.S. was concerned Iran may have covered up details on the spread of the virus.
"We neither count on such help nor are we ready to accept verbal help," Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said during a briefing on Monday. He added the country has always been "suspicious" over American intentions, and that the U.S. government was trying to weaken Iranians' spirits over the outbreak.
Iran's mortality rate from the virus is roughly 5.5 percent, compared to an overall fatality rate of about 2 percent in China. The difference in rates has led people to suggest the number of infections in Iran is higher than what the country has officially reported. The country's first case was reported less than two weeks ago.

1. A great victory': Netanyahu, Israel's right-wing have much to celebrate - World Israel News
Supporters of Israel's right-wing are cheering early exit polls, which show Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party gaining 37 seats to Blue and White's 33.
It's an impressive gain for Likud, which presently holds 32 seats in the Knesset, Israel's parliament.
According to Channel 13, Netanyahu spoke with the leaders of his coalition parties, sending the message that it's a "great victory" and he will establish "a strong, nationalist government."
To the public, Netanyahu simply tweeted: "Thank you" with the emoticon of a heart.
Three Israeli news outlets reported their exit polls as voting closed at 10:00 p.m. They put the right-haredi coalition at 60 Knesset seats to the center-left-Arab coalition at 54 Knesset seats.
Sixty-one is the magic number to form a government in the 120-seat Knesset.

2. Netanyahu: Deal of the Century is the opportunity of a century for Israel - Israel National News
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday addressed the AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington, DC, via video.
Netanyahu began his comments by saying "hello from Jerusalem, the united capital of Israel that will never be divided again."
"Last year, those who came to AIPAC were accused of dual loyalty. This year, AIPAC was accused of providing a platform for bigotry," he continued, referring to statements by Rep. Ilhan Omar last year and to this year's condemnation of AIPAC by Senator Bernie Sanders.
"These libelous charges are outrageous, and the best way to respond to that outrage is to do what you have done, by gathering in Washington today in full force. You send a powerful message to all those who seek to weaken our great alliance that they will fail," he said.
"I hope that tomorrow's election will lead to a decisive outcome. I hope that I'll be able to form a strong and stable government that will be able to deal with both the great challenges and the enormous opportunities we face," continued Netanyahu.

3. Gaza rocket fired toward Israel, falls short of the border - Times of Israel
Terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired a rocket toward Israel on Sunday night, which fell short of the border and landed inside the Palestinian enclave, the Israel Defense Forces said.
The military said the launch triggered alerts in open fields near the security fence.
The attack came less than a week after Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad fought a two-day battle in and around the Strip, in which over 100 rockets and mortar shells were fired at southern Israel and the IDF retaliated with airstrikes against the organization's facilities in Gaza and - in a highly irregular move - in Syria.

4. BREAKING! Two Syrian war planes downed as Turkey begins operation against Assad - Jerusalem Post
Two Syrian fighter jets were downed by Turkish fighter jets on Sunday in Syria's northwestern Idlib province, as Turkey began a wide-scale military operation against the Assad regime in response to last week's killing of 34 Turkish soldiers, according to Syria's SANA state news agency.
The two Syrian pilots managed to deploy their parachutes and land safely, according to the Syrian military. SANA reported earlier on Sunday that the Syrian army had downed a Turkish drone over the town of Saraqeb in the Idlib region of northwest Syria.
Turkish Defense Minister Şule Akar announced the operation, named Operation Spring Shield, vowing retaliation against any attack on Turkish forces or observation posts in Idlib under Turkey's right to self-defense.

5. 3,260 quarantined Israelis cast ballots at special polling stations
by 4:30 p.m. - Times of Israel
Voting at special polling stations for individuals under self-quarantine due to fears they were exposed to the coronavirus will be extended by two hours due to crowding and delays at the 16 locations throughout the country, the Central Elections Committee says.
The specially set up booths will now remain open until 7 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. as originally planned.
Voting has been slow-going at the stations due to the lengthy safety procedures in place at the sites to ensure the ballots cast by the voters are sterile.
The CEC is also setting up two additional voting stations for this population, one in Tel Aviv and another in Kfar Saba.

6. Israelis head to polls, highest turnout in 20 years may prove decisive - World Israel News
After a hard-fought, three-month campaign, the politicians at least streamed to the polls early as they opened at 7:00 a.m. on Monday in Israel.
Yemina party chairman Ayelet Shaked showed up with her kids at a polling station in Tel Aviv. Senior Blue and White member Moshe Ya'alon voted at Kibbutz Grofit near Eilat and Avigdor Liberman was seen casting his ballot at his hometown of Nokdim in Judea.
A total of 10,651 ballot stations opened in the country and 6,453,255 citizens are eligible to vote.
The question is: Will a public weary of elections take advantage of their voting privileges?
It appears the answer is yes - as 47% of eligible Israeli voters cast their ballot by 4:00 pm, the highest voter turnout since 1999.

7. Expert: 'The Trump Map is worse than the Oslo Map' - Israel National News
Urban planner and one of the first residents of the renewed settlement in Judea and Samaria, Avraham Shvut analyzed the map of the Trump plan compared to the Oslo map and determined that the Trump map is worse and actually more dangerous for settlement.
Shvut presented his conclusions in a lecture that he gave at the Oz veGaon preserve, during which he emphasized the importance of preparing a long-range plan for building and settlement.
In his lecture, Shvut presented the key points of the TAMA 100 National Outline Plan, initiated by the Sovereignty Movement, in which he participated as one of the designers, the main point of which is planning for the State of Israel in the hundredth year since its establishment and as of now, the only plan that views Judea and Samaria as an integral part of the State of Israel.
"Maps and plans determine reality"*, states Shvut, relating from past experience how, in places where plans were drawn, whether by the Right of the Left, things became the primary basis for execution in the field.

1. Washington state man becomes first U.S. death from coronavirus - NBC
Health officials in Washington state said on Saturday a coronavirus patient has died, marking the first death in the U.S. from COVID-19, the illness associated with the virus.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it's responding to "the first possible outbreak" of the respiratory illness in a long-term care center in Washington. The death was not associated with that facility.
Health officials in Washington said 27 patients and 25 staff members at the center have symptoms associated with COVID-19.
The Life Care Center of Kirkland said in a statement that new patients and visitors were being turned away, and patients and staff "with symptoms or who were potentially exposed are quarantined."
The person who died was a man in his 50s with underlying health conditions, and there was no evidence he contracted the virus through travel, health officials said. They suspect domestic "community spread" of the disease, a new phase for the United States that began this week on the West Coast. U.S. diplomatic officials said a 60-year old U.S. citizen diagnosed with the disease died Feb. 6 at Jinyintian Hospital in Wuhan, China.(Read more)

2. Rhode Island confirms first case of coronavirus, 40 people being monitored - Fox News
At least 40 people in Rhode Island are being monitored after the state confirmed its first case of the coronavirus, health officials said.
The Rhode Island Department of Health announced early Sunday that the man, in his 40s, recently had returned home after a trip to Italy, where cases of the coronavirus have skyrocketed in recent months. Rhode Island Gov. Gina M. Raimondo said during a news conference that the risk for Rhode Islanders remained generally low and there was no need to panic or be frightened.
The man, whose identity was not released, has had "limited travel" in Rhode Island since returning from Italy, and has not returned to work, the Providence Journal reported.
Health Department officials said they have made "extensive efforts" to ensure that all those who had contact with the man would undergo a two-week period of self-monitoring for symptoms at home with public health supervision.
"As long as anyone exposed to the individual does not have symptoms outside of their home setting, the virus cannot spread to other people in the community," the Health Department announced. (Read more)
- Lord, help all of Your children to not be afraid as this virus causes more illnesses. We refuse this sickness, and thank You for Your promise that You took our sickness and disease upon Your own body at the cross.

3. Buttigieg exits presidential race ahead of Super Tuesday, cementing collapse after strong Iowa showing - Fox News
Pete Buttigieg told supporters he's ending his presidential campaign on Sunday, campaign sources confirmed to Fox News, in an abrupt and surprising pullout that further narrows the field of Democrats less than a month after he declared victory in the contested Iowa caucuses.
Buttigieg had been scheduled to headline a rally in Dallas on Sunday night. The charter plane has been rerouted to South Bend, Ind., where Buttigieg will announce that he is dropping out, Fox News has learned.
Buttigieg's withdrawal comes just days before 14 states are set to head to the polls on Super Tuesday, where one-third of all delegates for the nomination will be at stake. His exit likely will harm frontrunner Bernie Sanders by providing a coalescing boost to more moderate candidates, as Buttigieg had gone on the offensive against the Vermont senator and sought to appeal to the centrist base of the party.
A senior campaign aide told Fox News the decision was "absolutely not" because of Buttigieg's failure to reach his Super Tuesday fundraising goal of $13 million. The campaign announced Sunday that it needed another $1.6 million to reach that target.
"Pete believes this is the right thing to do for our country, for our party and for Americans across the country eager to heal our divided nation, defeat this president and work to fix our broken politics," the aide said. (Read more)
- Lord, we thank you that this man who constantly bashed Christians and President Trump, even as he is openly gay, has removed himself from the race. We pray for his soul, and that of his partner. May he cry out to You at this time.

4. Tom Steyer Ends Campaign After Disappointing Finish In South Carolina - Daily Caller
Billionaire Tom Steyer put an end to his bid for the 2020 Democratic nomination Saturday after a less-than-stellar finish in South Carolina.
According to a report from the Associated Press, Steyer was set to announce his withdrawal from the primary just hours after the contest was called for former Vice President Joe Biden.
Steyer took third in South Carolina - behind Biden and Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders - but that wasn't enough to keep him in the race.
Speaking to a group of supporters in Columbia, South Carolina, Steyer conceded that he could no longer see a path forward. "There's no question today that this campaign, we were disappointed with where we came out. But I said if I didn't see a path to winning that I'd suspend my campaign, and honestly I can't see a path where I can win the presidency."
Steyer had just over 11% of the vote with 68% reporting. He has already poured millions into both his own presidential bid and his "Need to Impeach" ad campaign. (Read more)
- Lord, we thank You that this man who constantly called for 'climate change' rules that would devastate the US has dropped out of the race. We pray that You would visit him to remind him of Your providence over the earth and over its population. We pray for conversion of this soul and all who follow him.
- "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them." (Ezekiel 36:27)
5. Joe Biden Takes Home Victory In South Carolina Primary, His First Time Ever Winning A Presidential State Primary - Daily Caller
Former Vice President Joe Biden is projected to score a much needed victory in Saturday's South Carolina Democratic presidential primary election. Biden, who had only earned 15 delegates after the first three states had voted in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, outpaced current front-runner Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders with a projected 60% of the vote to take control of at least 20 of South Carolina's 54 pledged delegates. Saturday was the first time in his three presidential runs that he won a state primary or caucus.
NBC, CNN, ABC, the Associated Press and CBS all called South Carolina for Biden as soon as polls closed at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Entering Saturday, Sanders held a commanding lead in the overall delegate count with 45. Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg sat in second place with 26 delegates, Biden had 15, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren had eight, and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar had seven. South Carolina's results will more than likely launch Biden into second place in the delegate count. (Read more)

6. Bernie Sanders and First amendment rights - IFA
The potential for Senator Bernie Sanders to be as a Presidential candidate for a major party, and also therefore to be elected President, is the most serious threat to religious freedom in our nation from the Executive branch we may have ever had. To be sure, I don't know if God has a plan to continue advancing Bernie supernaturally in order to accomplish His purposes. Either way this is a major matter for prayer. I am surprised how many younger Christians are unaware of his religious views and are actively supporting him. Christians may disagree on policy but Bernie's views on whether Christians can actively follow Jesus' claims to exclusivity should be a matter that unites us all.
During a Senate confirmation hearing meeting in 2017, Senator Sanders said Russell Vought, a nominee for Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget, was unqualified because Mr. Vought believes Jesus was the only way to God. The Senator's view was that because Mr. Vought thought Mohammad's teachings were not an equal way to God, he should not serve in the U.S. government. Sanders' closing statement is: "This nominee is not what this country is supposed to be about."
This is an extremely dangerous and unconstitutional opinion. The core faith tenet of Christianity is that Jesus is the way, truth, and life, and that no one gets to the Father but through Him (Jesus' own words in John 14:6). Bernie Sanders basically declared all Christians who adhere to historical, biblical Christianity as unfit to serve in our government. Nothing could be more in opposition to the real life history of our nation's founders and the grand majority of our nation's previous governmental leaders than this. Bernie Sander's views in this matter make him unlike any other major candidate for President in our nation's history and potentially pose the most serious threat to our First Amendment rights this nation has ever seen from the Executive Branch.
It is this one singular view above all others that makes him unfit for office as a Senator or President. He counts on his own right to espouse his openly socialist political policy positions. His desire to strip First Amendment rights of those he disagrees with actually threatens his own right to free speech regarding his socialist views. (Read more)
- Father, we are concerned that this man could be nominated for the Democrat Party, or even as an Independent. His views are repugnant, designed to destroy America. We ask You for mercy, and pray that Your Holy Spirit will move across our nation, bringing repentance and truth.
- "Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me." (Psalm 27:7)
7. Black Voters Turn Their Backs on Mike Bloomberg During Church Service - Breitbart
Congregants of a historically black church in Selma, Alabama, turned their backs on Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg on Sunday as he addressed them.
The protest, which remained silent and peaceful, took place as Bloomberg was giving a speech on the 55th anniversary of "Bloody Sunday," a day when police attacked black citizens during a civil rights march in the town.
Several images shared to social media on Sunday showed both black and white voters standing with their backs turned to Bloomberg in Selma's Brown Chapel AME Church. (Read more)
- Father, the reaction of these congregants tell us that Mr. Bloomberg has issues that are not conducive to good relations with other races and should not be the President. We pray that You would cause him to repent, and bring him to a place of humility before You.
- "Good and upright is the Lord, therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble he guides in justice, and the humble he teaches His way." (Psalm 25: 8, 9)
8. Dems' investigations flatline, despite vows to pursue Trump after Senate impeachment trial - Fox News
Despite their dire warnings earlier this year that President Trump's foreign policy endangered the United States and assured that the 2020 elections would be riddled with foreign election interference, House Democrats have now essentially dropped their investigative efforts into the Trump administration's Ukraine dealings.
The drawdown, which has seen Democrats decline to make new witness requests or file relevant subpoenas since the conclusion of the Senate impeachment trial, could be a tacit acknowledgement that the probes wouldn't be politically helpful as the 2020 presidential field narrows. Amid impeachment proceedings, a Gallup poll found that support for both President Trump and the Republican Party had risen to historic highs.
However, Democrats have insisted that their previous statements still hold true, and that they are merely acceding to legal and political realities.
"There is nothing that Donald Trump can do that would cause [Senate Republicans] to convict him of high crimes and misdemeanors," Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., told Politico. "So that has caused everybody in the House to take a deep breath and figure out what our next steps are." (Read more)
- Lord, this doesn't mean they won't still try something, but we praise You that the Democrats have been unable to continue their constant investigations.
- "The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth."
(Psalm 37:12)
9. Dems block 'born alive' bill to provide medical care to infants who survive failed abortions - Fox News
Senate Democrats on Monday blocked a Republican bill that would have threatened prison time for doctors who don't try saving the life of infants born alive during failed abortions, leading conservatives to wonder openly whether Democrats were embracing "infanticide" to appeal to left-wing voters.
All prominent Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls in the Senate voted down the measure, including Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. The final vote was 53-44 to end Democratic delaying tactics -- seven votes short of the 60 needed.
Three Democrats joined Republicans to support the bill -- Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Doug Jones or Alabama. Three Republicans did not vote, apparently because of scheduling issues and plane flight delays -- including Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Tim Scott of South Carolina. (Read more)
- Father, we bind up this selfish shedding of innocent blood and ask on our knees for You to visit those who believe in abortion. We have sinned, our nation has sinned, and we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness.
- "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek MY face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 2:14)
10. Supreme Court to hear if LGBT activist can force Christian organizations to violate their faith - WND
The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to review a case centering on whether or not LGBT activists can force Christian organizations to violate their faith.
Catholic Social Services sued the city of Philadelphia for banning the religious agency from its foster program for refusing to place children with same-sex couples. The clash erupted after the Supreme Court established a legal right to same-sex marriage in 2015. Many critics warned at the time that the rights of Christians to exercise their faith would be threatened, despite the Supreme Court's affirmation that the First Amendment protects the right object to same-sex marriage on religious grounds.
One year ago, the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals endorsed the city's policy, and now Catholic Social Services has appealed to the Supreme Court. (Read more)
- Lord, we pray that no Christian will ever again be forced to fall under the agendas of any group that hates Christianity. We ask for favor at the Supreme Court for this group so that we may all exercise the freedom to worship You according to Your Word.
- "The cords of the wicked have bound me, but I have not forgotten Your law."

The disturbing Castro Connection
Cuban Americans took to the streets Saturday in Miami, FL., to protest the Democratic Party's candidacy of socialist Bernie Sanders because of his remarks favoring Cuba's brutal dictator Fidel Castro. Sanders told 60 Minutes' Anderson Cooper that the Castro regime "educated their kids, gave them health care, [and] totally transformed the society." Sanders praised Castro, saying, "We're very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it's unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?" He's not the only Democrat in love with Castro.
In March 2014, the immediate past president and his family visited Cuba. They attended a baseball game with Castro's brother Raul, also a brutal communist who took over for Fidel when his health began failing. The apology tour included announcing a reexamination of Cuba's terrorist-sponsoring designation, saying that 50 years of isolation and economic sanctions on Cuba have not worked, and that the US and Cuba are going to work together on topics with which they agree. He all but conceded to the Castro Revolution. In November 2016, the Washington Post and the New York Times coverage of Fidel Castro's death made him out to be an extraordinary revolutionary that brought great things to Cuba.
Let us remember the Castro regime. It is one of death and destruction. It is a legacy of poverty for Cubans and debauchery for Castro and his family. The Miami Herald reported on April 23, 2006 that Fidel Castro was responsible for 31,173 executions and prison deaths since he took power in 1959. Some 5,728 were killed by firing squads. He refused medical attention to those trying to escape the island by boat, resulting in another estimated 77,000 deaths. Nearly all the sources indicate an exact number of deaths caused by Castro's regime is unattainable, with some estimating the death toll over 1.5 million. Castro lived a private life of extravagance while appearing as a poor man in public. He was a liar.
Urgent - Now - March Forth!
We are Calling on You to March Forth - A Call To Prayer Leaders Across America
Dear Prayer Leaders,
We are calling on you to mobilize your spiritual army of intercessors to come to Washington D.C. to March Forth against the injustice of abortion on March 4, 2020.
On that day, March 4, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Dr. Rebekah Gee, et al, v. June Medical Services L.L.C., et al. This is the Louisiana Abortion hospital admitting privileges case (Unsafe Abortion Protection Act) which also deals with whether the abortion industry should have third party standing to assert the rights of women to seek abortions.
I, Cynthia Collins, testified on this case in 2014, in the Louisiana legislature giving my personal testimony. I also gave testimony of the hundreds of women I've counseled that were hurt by abortion and the thousands who have submitted legal declarations through Operation Outcry. The law passed and was signed by our Governor. The abortion industry brought suit against Louisiana. After going through the state and federal court system for six years, on March 4, 2020, the case will be heard at the Supreme Court.
This is the first abortion case in three years that the Supreme Court has set for oral argument. There are two new members of The Court, Justice Kavanaugh and Gorsuch. I believe the Lord is going to end the "covenant with death" the "agreement with Sheol (the grave)" that is legalized abortion at some point in America. See Isaiah 28:14-22. This case can be the beginning of the end of the "crime against humanity" and God which is abortion. But we must pray! Click here to read the Brief of Melinda Thybault, on behalf of 264,500 Signers of The Moral Outcry Petition seeking reversal of Roe v. Wade.
Your prayers are needed now, through March 4th, the day of Oral Argument, and until the day the Supreme Court decides this pivotal case. The Court concludes their session on June 30, 2020.

Thank you all for your participation on last night's call.
WOW
I have no words to describe the anointing that is resting on these calls, as we join hearts and hands to battle this coronavirus disease . . . through prayer.
I want to thank all who led the prayers (some who wish to remain anonymous at the public level) and those of you who have participated in these prayer assaults.
We trust our Lord will continue to lead, guide and to direct our intercession in the weeks to come as we watch the emerging battlefronts of this "beast" and confront each one, step by step.
We regret to inform you, however, that due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to release the recording of this call, as promised.
However, our friend Bessie, from California, has sent over the list of verses she cited on last night's call. They are:

SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS
"He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them." (Mark 10:16)
Lyrics
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o'ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Hark! 'tis the voice of angels,
Borne in a song to me.
Over the fields of glory,
Over the jasper sea.
Refrain
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast
There by His love o'ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world's temptations,
Sin cannot harm me there.
Free from the blight of sorrow,
Free from my doubts and fears;
Only a few more trials,
Only a few more tears!
Refrain
Jesus, my heart's dear refuge, Jesus has died for me; Firm on the Rock of Ages, Ever my trust shall be.
Here let me wait with patience,
Wait till the night is over;
Wait till I see the morning
Break on the golden shore.

About the Author:
Words: Fanny Crosby, 1870
Melody: W. Howard Doane
This song was played on August 8, 1885, when American President Ulysses S. Grant was interred in Riverside Park, on the banks of the Hudson River.
About the Hymn:
At the close of one of Mr. Sankey's meetings in Glasgow, Scotland, a woman said to him: "Mr. Sankey, I want to tell you about my daughter, Maggie. She was converted when you were here eight years ago, but has gone home to heaven, and I want to tell you what she said when she was dying. She asked me to get her little hymn-book, and when I brought it she asked me to turn to No. 25, saying: "I want to sing it." "Why, my child," said I, "you are not able to sing." "Yes," she said, "I want to sing one more song before I go; will you please turn to the twenty-fifth hymn, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."" I found it for her and she began to sing these lines:"
Hark, 'tis the voice of angels
Safe on His gentle breast
There by His love o'ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
"Her voice then seemed to fail her, and she said, "Mother, lift me up." I put my arm under her and lifted my poor girl up, then she raised her eyes to heaven and whispered, "Jesus, I am coming; Jesus I am coming." The doctor who was standing by her side, said, "How can you sing when you are so weak?" She replied: "Jesus helps me to sing. Jesus helps me to sing." With these words upon her lips she died in my arms." The little hymn book was laid upon the girl's breast and buried with her.

THE SURPRISING WAY SOLAR STORMS BEACH WHALES: A new study published this week in the research journal Current Biology shows that solar storms can confuse grey whales and cause them to strand on beaches. Surprisingly, the problem is *not* caused by geomagnetic storms. Instead, solar radio bursts are throwing the whales off course. FULL STORY. DAYLIGHT FIREBALL OVER CROATIA: On Feb. 28th, residents of Croatia where shocked--literally--when a space rock exploded over Zagreb. Windows rattled, the ground shook, and a loud noise rumbled across the landscape as the fireball flashed brightly enough to see in broad daylight. Tomislav Čar captured this dashcam video at 10:34 AM local time:
"I personally heard it. An ear-witness, if you will," reports Iva Tatić of Total Croatia News. I was sitting in my chair [when] I heard a loud, deep rumbling, unlike the usual sounds happening in my neighborhood around this time of day. My first thought was that there was a very large truck in the very narrow street beneath my window, but there was no truck. Then I concluded it must've been an earthquake."
Indeed, Tatić says, "many people shared how they also *felt* the earthquake, in addition to hearing the loud sound." Minutes later the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre announced that their seismometers had detected a minor earthquake in the area.
The shaking of the ground was not caused by the space rock hitting Earth. Instead, atmospheric shock waves from the explosion were responsible. Local astronomers are reportedly searching the area to see if fragments survived the descent and may be recovered as meteorites.
According to JPL's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the energy of the explosion was approximately equal to 340 tons of TNT. Such meteors are detected somewhere on Earth ~10 times each year. (Spaceweather.com)

Breakthrough: Israeli Scientists Say They'll Have a Coronavirus Vaccine in Just Weeks
(Jerusalem, Israel) - [CBN News] Israeli scientists say they are just weeks away from releasing the world's first vaccine against the deadly Coronavirus.
The Galilee Research Institute (MIGAL) spent four years creating a vaccine against the highly contagious coronavirus that infects birds called Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV). Now, they're adapting the vaccine for the human coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
"Congratulations to MIGAL on this exciting breakthrough. I am confident that there will be further rapid progress, enabling us to provide a needed response to the grave global COVID-19 threat," said Israeli Minister of Science and Technology Ofir Akunis.
Akunis will fast-track the approval processes for the human coronavirus vaccine so it can hit the market as soon as possible in the form of an oral pill.

About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
