WATCH: President Trump's Departure Ceremony, Plus His Farewell Address to America
President Trump left the White House for the last time Wednesday morning en route to his home in Florida.
“It’s been a great honor, the honor of a lifetime. The greatest people in the world, the greatest home in the world," Trump told reporters before heading to Marine One on the White House South Lawn. “We love the American people, and again, it has been something very special. And I just want to say goodbye but hopefully, it’s not a long-term goodbye. We’ll see each other again.”
Trump then stopped for a brief departure ceremony at the airport at Joint Base Andrews before boarding Air Force One.
President Trump also spoke to the nation on Tuesday afternoon, issuing a farewell address on YouTube in which he began by wishing the Biden administration well.
"This week we inaugurate a new administration and pray for its success in keeping America safe and prosperous," President Trump said.
He mentioned prayer again a few minutes later in his address, highlighting the achievements of his own administration. "With the support and prayers of the American people, we achieved more than anyone thought possible. Nobody thought we could even come close," Trump said.
And the president also focused on faith again when he said "we are all made equal by God", later referring to our "God-given" freedom while speaking of America's history of greatness.
"For nearly 250 years, in the face of every challenge, Americans have always summoned our unmatched courage, confidence, and fierce independence. These are the miraculous traits that once led millions of everyday citizens to set out across a wild continent and carve out a new life in the great West. It was the same profound love of our God-given freedom that willed our soldiers into battle and our astronauts into space."

Focus on Israel
1. TV: Israel warns ‘nothing to discuss’ with Biden if returns to Iran deal as is - Times of Israel
Israeli television on Wednesday reported that Jerusalem is warning an American return to the former terms of the nuclear deal with Iran under President Joe Biden could lead the countries to a crisis in relations.
Channel 12 news cited “a very senior Israeli official” as saying: “If Biden adopts Obama’s plan, we will have nothing to talk about with him.” The official was referencing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed by former president Barack Obama in 2015.
The official did not elaborate further.
The comments came just a day after Biden’s nominee for secretary of state Antony Blinken pledged to senators at his confirmation hearing that he would engage with Israel and its Arab allies before reentering the JCPOA. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ambassador to the US Ron Dermer had called on Biden to do just that several weeks earlier. (Read more)
2. Netanyahu Preparing for Battle with Biden on Renewing Iran Deal - Jewish Press
It appears that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is already preparing for a confrontation with the new US president over the Iran nuclear deal, seeing as on Joe Biden’s inauguration day the PM has leaked an aggressive message to the media on the subject.
President Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday held her first exchange with White House reporters and revealed that President Joe Biden wants the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) back – probably not the Obama version, but the deal is will be resurrected.
“The president has made clear that he believes that through diplomacy, the United States should seek to lengthen and strengthen nuclear constraints on Iran and address other issues of concern,” Psaki said. “Iran must resume compliance with significant nuclear constraints under the deal in order for that to proceed.”
Psaki added regarding Biden’s interest in restarting the talks this early in his presidency: “We would expect that some of his earlier conversations with foreign counterparts and foreign leaders will be with partners and allies and you would certainly anticipate that this would be part of the discussions.” (Read more)
3. Gantz: No reason to postpone election - Israel National News
Defense Minister Benny Gantz (Blue and White) on Thursday morning, addressed in an interview with Reshet Bet the possibility that Biden's new government will seek to return to the nuclear agreement with Iran promoted by the Obama administration.
"I don't know if there will be a dispute," Gantz said. "I know that the Americans really want Iran not to become a country with a nuclear capability. It must not reach a nuclear capability and everything must be done to ensure that."
Gantz was later asked about the controversy over enforcement of coronavirus restrictions and the issue of fines and replied, "This issue is critical and these things need to be adhered to." (Read more)
4. Israelis returning from Dubai go berserk, trash lobby at corona quarantine hotel - World Israel News
Police arrested five Israelis who rioted in the lobby of Jerusalem’s Dan Panorama Hotel Wednesday and caused extensive damage to property. They were angered because new government regulations forced them into coronavirus quarantine for two weeks at the hotel, Kan News reported.
In a video circulated on social media, the suspects are seen yelling at the staff as they overturned tables and broke down a protective barrier designed to protect hotel staff and IDF soldiers assigned to the quarantine center.
“At the decision of the political echelon, it was decided that all returnees from Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and South African countries would be isolated in Home Front Command isolation hotels, with exceptions approved by the Ministry of Health Exceptions Committee,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Office said in a statement. 5. Palestinian PM: Abbas is our presidential candidate - Jerusalem Post
The Palestinian ruling Fatah faction has nominated Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as its candidate for the presidential election, scheduled to take later this year, PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh announced on Wednesday.
The London-based Al-Araby TV channel quoted Shtayyeh as saying that there was “consensus” in Fatah that the 85-year-old Abbas will be its candidate in the upcoming election.
Last week, Abbas called for general elections for the first time since 2006, when the Palestinians last voted for the parliament, the Palestinian Legislative Council.
Abbas announced that the parliamentary election would take place on May 22, while the presidential election would take place on July 31. (Read more)

2. Dan Crenshaw Reveals Who Biden's Day 1 Policy Changes Really Help - Western Journal
Dan Crenshaw didn’t waste any time.
Moments after President Joe Biden was sworn into office on Wednesday, the Texas Republican and former Navy SEAL who lost his right eye fighting for the country in Afghanistan, proved he can still see more clearly than any leftist commentator.
And he did it by describing Biden’s actions more clearly than the liberal media ever will.
In a Twitter post published shortly after Biden took the oath of office, Crenshaw used an NBC list of the new president’s priorities to demonstrate who will actually benefit from the Biden agenda.

3. Justice Sotomayor Accidentally Makes 'Racist' Move While Swearing Kamala In - Western Journal
Is Sonia Sotomayor a racist?
If you’re using leftist logic from only a few months ago, that seems to be the case. In the past, conservatives who mistakenly pronounced Harris’ first name as something other than “Comma-la” were said to be engaging in “racist” behavior, according to numerous leftist outlets.
That argument will likely be soon forgotten as of Wednesday, given the fact that Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor made that error during the Biden-Harris inauguration ceremony, mistakenly emphasizing the second syllable in the vice president’s first name. Given that “Kamala” is not a commonly used name in America, this mistake on the part of Sotomayor and others should be seen as understandable.
As of a few months ago, however, the left didn’t seem to think that was the case. An Aug. 21 article in The Associated Press, titled “Democrats see racism in GOP mispronunciations of ‘Kamala,'” suggested mispronunciations were deliberately targeted at marginalizing Harris.
Is the left hypocritical?
“Harris’ supporters say the pattern amounts to a deliberate effort by Trump and his allies to portray Harris — the daughter of immigrants — as someone who does not belong at the top ranks of politics,” the article said. “The mispronunciations follow a string of attacks that include racist and sexist memes and questioning whether Harris, who was born in California, is eligible to serve as vice president because her mother was Indian and her father Jamaican.” (Read more)
- Father, this hysteria that is being pushed on Christians, Conservatives and Republicans in order to repudiate their stands for righteousness, justice and truth must be brought to a screeching halt. It is no secret that we are being demeaned and devalued in order to be deleted and that must stop. Would you grant that the greater voice of God would be heard instead.

4. Hillary Clinton Makes New Claim About Debunked Trump-Russia Narrative - Western Journal
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton floated a new Russia collusion narrative and suggested that President Donald Trump was merely a puppet for Russian President Vladimir Putin in a podcast interview released Monday. “I hope historically we will find out who he’s beholden to, who pulls his strings,” the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee said. “I would love to see his phone records to see whether he was talking to Putin the day the insurgence invaded our capital.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Clinton’s podcast guest, said that with Trump “all roads lead to Putin. . . I don’t know what Putin has on him politically, financially or personally, but what happened last week was a gift to Putin,” Pelosi said. "Because Putin wants to undermine democracy in our country and throughout the world.” She added, “These people, unbeknownst to them maybe, are Putin’s puppets. They were doing Putin’s business when they did that at the incitement of an insurrection by the President of the United States.” (Read more)

It is such a pity to see persistent accusations, which could just as easily be made about others with allegiance to China. Father, these things come from the evil one, would You release Truth instead, so people would have hearts for goodness.

5. Chuck Todd: Biden's Inauguration Speech The First 'To Mention The Virus Of White Supremacy' - Daily Caller
“Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd said Wednesday that President Joe Biden’s inauguration speech was the first “to mention the virus of white supremacy.” Todd said the Jan. 6 riot, where a mob breached the Capitol building on Jan. 6 during a march that turned into a violent attempt to halt the certification of the presidential election results, made Biden’s speech far more relevant. “By the way, a point of research I had my team look, this is the first inaugural address ever to mention the virus of white supremacy,” Todd said. “We looked at every inaugural address and, you know, these are important,” Todd said.
Biden promised in his inauguration speech Wednesday to bring the American people together in a tension-filled time of division and conflict. The new president listed various hardships Americans are facing now, including white supremacy, according to a transcript of his inaugural address. “And now, a rise in political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism that we must confront and we will defeat,” Biden said. “To overcome these challenges — to restore the soul and to secure the future of America — requires more than words. 6. Biden To Lift Transgender Military Ban In 'Coming Days And Weeks' - Daily Caller
President Joe Biden will lift the ban prohibiting transgender people from openly serving in the military, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a Wednesday statement according to NBC News. Psaki said the reversal would be included in “additional executive actions” expected “in the coming days weeks,” according to NBC News. Previously, Biden pledged during the campaign to lift the ban on his first day in office.
Shortly after taking the oath of office, the president signed several executive orders, reversing several of former President Donald Trump’s policies. The orders included making the U.S. rejoin the Paris Climate Accords, mandate masks and social distancing on federal properties and vowed support for “underserved communities.”
Retired Gen. Lloyd Austin, Biden’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, voiced his support Tuesday to overturn the transgender ban, NBC News reported. However, the Senate still needs to confirm Austin for the Cabinet position. “I truly believe, senator, as I said in my opening statement, that if you are fit and you’re qualified to serve, and you can maintain the standards, you should be allowed to serve,” Austin told senators during his confirmation hearing, according to NBC News. 7. President Biden To Fund Abortions Abroad - Daily Caller
Newly elected President Joe Biden will revoke the Mexico City Policy that prevents federal funds from going to abortions abroad, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday.
“It will be our policy to support women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights in the United States, as well as globally,” Fauci said, according to prepared transcripts of Thursday’s World Health Organization executive board meeting. “To that end, President Biden will be revoking the Mexico City Policy in the coming days, as part of his broader commitment to protect women’s health and advance gender equality at home and around the world.”
The Mexico City Policy, otherwise known as the “Global Gag Rule,” requires overseas organizations that are receiving aid from the United States not to promote abortion. The policy was first established by former President Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Former President Barack Obama rescinded the policy in 2009, but President Donald Trump re-established the Mexico City Policy in January 2017 shortly after he became president of the United States. (Read more)

8. Here's Who's Going To Be Running Biden's Government Until The Senate Confirms His Cabinet - Daily Caller
The White House named nearly two-dozen interim agency heads on Wednesday who will be charged with running the government until President Joe Biden’s cabinet designees are confirmed by the United States Senate.
The leadership team will “assist in the next phase of the transition of government,” a senior White House official said in a statement. “These individuals, nearly all of whom are career civil servants, will temporarily lead federal agencies while Cabinet nominees continue moving through the confirmation process."

11. Chuck Schumer is now majority leader as 3 new Democratic senators are sworn in - Yahoo News
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is officially Senate majority leader after the inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris and the swearing-in of new Sens. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.), Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) and Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.).
Why it matters: With a 50-50 Senate, Schumer will control a narrow majority with Harris as the tie-breaking vote. Democratic control of the Senate is crucial to President Biden's agenda, from getting his coronavirus relief proposal passed to forgiving student debt. (Read more)

Straight Talk
The Bible warns in 2 Thessalonians to stand firm in the Lord so you are not deceived. Chapter 2, verse 10 says, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved.” Believers are often warned about deception. Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” In verse 11, Christ continues with the warning: “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” For months, I have written that followers of Christ must be able to discern deception and by all means pursue the truth. Truth saves one from deception. Christ followers are supposed to love truth and be the ones who bring truth, not spread lies.
There is an art of deception, especially in politics. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, “Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” It starts with evil men. They seek to seduce by using just a dash of truth to make a better lie. These deception artists ply the minds of their targets by devising schemes and narratives that people want to believe so badly that they will suspend their disbelief to believe the lie. And they will believe it so strongly that it becomes part of their very being. When the deception doesn’t come about or is proven false, the deceivers move their mark to justify even more deception. All the while, those being deceived become more ardently committed to the deception.
These days, there has been an extraordinary amount of deception. So-called prophets have made false claims about the will of God. None of it has come true. And now they are moving their mark using technical details to justify what they said. They owe us all an apology. If you are going to quote God or speak for God you better get it right. It’s not about self-aggrandization, but the solemn and sober communication of the Lord’s will and message to His people. In addition, evil men and seducers have sought to deceive many with wild conspiracy theories that have not and will not occur. Again, a little bit of truth makes a better lie and when it doesn’t happen, there is further seduction by moving to the next theory. Some master plan is said to be unfolding, making further promises. And some Christians are willing spreaders of the lies.
Many well-intended Christians continue to angrily argue and defend the deceivers as the lies are spread. This Daily Jot is a call to wake up to this deception; to no longer be used as a tool of the deceivers; to no longer follow after these lusts to satisfy itching ears. Deception is a distraction from good and acceptable service to the Lord. If as much passion was placed into serving the Lord as is put into believing and spreading the latest falsehoods of the deceivers, there would be no need to want to believe the deception. Christ warned that these false prophets and frauds, if possible, shall deceive the very elect. From what I’ve seen over the many months, it is very possible. In fact, probable. This has been an example of how easy the anti-Christ could deceive many. Love truth more than the seduction of deception. Do not be deceived.

Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
