Super Bowl 55: A Guide to Prayer
Super Bowl LV will kick off tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. EST in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium.
First the good news:
The Christian Post is reporting that there are five players in the game tomorrow who are solid brothers in Christ. You can learn their names and pray for their well-being by going here.
Now, the other news:
In the midst of the excitement of any Super Bowl game, there is a sad and hidden underpinning that occurs throughout this weekend: a time of the increase of human trafficking.
The prayer guide below will help us all come against the evil of this weekend, returning the Super Bowl to the showcase event it has always been, honoring the top athletes of the NFL and the AFL. Let us pray:
PRAYER TO EXPOSE AND END HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Gracious Father, we come in the Name of Your Precious Son and our mighty Redeemer and King, Jesus Christ, Who came to set the captives free, and we ask for the souls and the lives of all who are caught in the evil web of human trafficking.
We ask that You would stir every heart throughout the Body of Christ into action to combat slavery in all of its forms. Thank You, Lord, for those who labor as modern-day abolitionists to bring an end to this nefarious scourge. Give law enforcement officers and under- cover agents supernatural revelation to uncover the hiding places and sex houses. Mobilize teams of intercessors and rescue workers to bring hope and shelter to trafficked victims.
And may the God of Hope fill all victims of abuse with the joy and peace in believing in Him, that they may even abound in Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13).
It is a shameful fact that in America, while the rest of the world is partying on Super Bowl Sunday, thousands are being sold as sex slaves at the mercy of the lusts of evil men. Father, first of all, forgive us for embracing a culture that would allow this to happen. And forgive us for desecrating Your day with this abominable activity. Have mercy on us for turning our eyes away from this problem because it may not directly touch our personal lives.
From the perpetrators to the victims, many are caught in this evil web of destruction. IT IS WRITTEN that the goodness of God leads men to repent and turn from their wicked ways. So, we call down the goodness of God over our nation on this day. May the liberating presence and goodness of Almighty God invade the strongholds of darkness to expose the hidden places of abuse and cause men to abandon their evil plans. We declare that no money will change hands in the abuse of women and children on Super Bowl Sunday this year. We call forth the angelic hosts of heaven to direct rescue teams and law enforcement officers to the location of the captives and set them free.
We stand positioned with Christ in the heavenly realms, and from that place of victory we declare a massive unraveling of the sex trafficking industry which will roll like a tsunami wave across our nation and around the world. In the name of Jesus Christ, Who came to set the captives free. AMEN

Several Confirmations have been received today for this prayer assignment to go forward, including Zephaniah 2:3
'Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.'
In prayer on Monday night, a vision was seen of Australia with lines of white light emanating out of Canberra our capital city, radiating out across the nation like laser beams. PTL - let us call forth the Light of God's Word by His Spirit.
We welcome you to participate in praying with leaders from across Australia in a strategic stand during this time of nations shaking —-
During our prayer time we will be focusing on the spheres of God's Kingdom, for God's will to be done and His Kingdom of Power being made manifest:-
• for Australia to operate under Christ's Righteous Rule and Reign in every area of government for His plum-line of justice and Truth to be established across all areas of society.
• calling for God's mercy and conviction unto repentance to be released in Australia for a mighty harvest of Souls and true Discipleship
• to call forth Australia's God ordained destiny to become part of the Great South Lands of the Holy Spirit and a land of God's true Peace and Salvation 1 Tim 2:1-6 in these troubled times
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, (1 Timothy 2:1-6)

AN EVIL ACT IN THE SENATE
Senate Democrats Defeat Legislation Protecting Abortion Survivors
Senate Democrats defeated legislation Wednesday that would have protected infants who survive abortions.
The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act failed because nearly every Senate Democrat voted against the measure, which requires doctors to provide medical care for newborns who survive abortion attempts. The act received 52 votes, falling 8 short of the 60-vote threshold necessary to break the filibuster. Democratic senators Joe Manchin (W. Va.) and Bob Casey (Pa.) crossed the aisle to vote for the legislation.
Sen. Ben Sasse (R., Neb.), who introduced the legislation, decried the partisan vote. "This legislation isn't red vs. blue, it is simply about giving every baby a fighting chance. Every baby deserves care. This isn't about abortion, it's about human rights," he said.
The pro-life Susan B. Anthony List praised Casey and Manchin for resisting their party and for representing the will of American voters. "The American people now know where every single U.S. senator stands on protecting babies born alive after failed abortions," the group said. "The legislation should have received 100 votes, but sadly, 48 Democratic senators voted against life-saving care for babies born alive." (Washington Free Beacon) Read more

Report: Anti-Israel Activist Heading to Biden State Department
The State Department is reportedly set to hire a top aide for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) who has a lengthy history of anti-Israel activism and played a key role at the left-wing blog ThinkProgress when an anti-Semitism scandal rocked the publication.
Matt Duss, Sanders’s top foreign policy hand, is expected to move to the State Department, though it is not clear yet what his role will be, according to Politico. Duss will join a growing roster of Biden administration hires who have displayed a deep animus toward Israel, promoted boycotts of the Jewish state, and advocated for a Palestinian "right of return" that would destroy the country’s Jewish composition.
Duss's elevation is likely to serve as a bright line for pro-Israel groups that threatens to undermine their support for the Biden administration. While the Biden campaign took pains to distance itself from anti-Israel activists, including the anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, Duss's inclusion in the administration would be a further signal that the new president intends to govern differently.
Duss, whose writings have been described by a watchdog group, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, as "infected with Jew-hatred," has been a leading voice in the anti-Israel movement for the better part of the last decade. His criticisms of Israel were too much even for the Obama White House, which said it was "troubled" by blog posts penned by Duss and his colleagues at the now-defunct ThinkProgress.
