International Pro-Life Event: Geneva Consensus Declaration Signing Ceremony

This Thursday, join Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for the signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration. The governments of the United States, Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, and Uganda are cosponsoring a virtual ceremonial signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration. This Declaration further strengthens a coalition to achieve these four pillars:

(1) better health for women,

(2) the preservation of human life,

(3) strengthening of family as the foundational unit of society, and

(4) protecting every nation's national sovereignty in global politics.

The October 22 ceremonial signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration pushes back on an aggressive effort to institutionalize abortion as a human right and signifies the first time more than 30 nations, representing more than 1.5 billion people commit to work together on these priorities until they achieve success.
