Nine Months Later: A Prophetic Pause
A Scripture to Decree:
Psalm 91:1-4 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Nine Months Later: A Prophetic Pause
What Does This Mean?
During the past few weeks, I have sensed a deep brooding . . . even a warning . . . in my Spirit of things to come. Our Lord continually draws my attention to the month of September -- the ninth month on our calendar. But where were we nine months ago? In the coming ninth month, is something about to appear ("be born") that has been "in the works" in a hidden place during these past nine months of 2020?
When we look back nine months, we arrive at the New Year. In January, a few intercessors began to take note of the outbreak of a strange new virus that had erupted in Wuhan, China, with devastating consequences. We began to intercede for the people of that region, and asked our Lord to stop the plague.
By the end of January, this virus had been given a name: COVID19. And passengers on cruise ships coming out of China were hit with the plague and were quarantined at port for at least two weeks. The virus then, inexplicably, began to erupt "out of nowhere" on our land, appearing first in Seattle, next in Los Angeles, then in Chicago, and so on. The authorities were baffled as they tracked this "community spread" of COVID19 desperately trying to contain this new disease -- now called a pandemic.
President Trump took swift action late in January, trying to protect our people by issuing an Executive Order, forbidding any planes coming from mainland China to land in the United States. But the plague kept going . . .
By March (as we all by now sadly know) this situation had gotten out of control. Hospitals were reportedly being flooded with COVID patients, and manufacturers were racing to provide ventilators for patients and PPE for medical staffs. But the plague continued.
Finally, the only thing left to do, to stop the plague, was to shut down the country entirely. On Monday, March 16 (again by Executive Order), everything STOPPED. All forms of transportation ceased; schools and stores were closed; sporting events were canceled; and Congress went home.
S-T-O-P!
LOCKDOWN!
But that was only Phase One of what has proven to be a very horrible year in the nation.
As a result of this national lockdown, employees were laid off, the Stock Market crashed, and many businesses have now gone out of business. It will take a long time for our economy to recover, if at all.
Enter George Floyd and a new season of fear and of destruction in America. Rioting, burning and violence have since followed, nonstop, in many cities across our land. In true Communist fashion, historic statues have been torn down in an effort to "cancel culture" and to design a new America based upon a socialist agenda. Police are being defunded, and sadly in too many cities today, anarchy rules.
Research has shown that these riots are not random events, but instead have been carefully planned by several nefarious organizations, designed to deconstruct and to destroy our country. In the midst of it all we now see Marxist operatives who have been quietly working behind the scenes to design strategies and to train others to take over our nation.
Meanwhile the rest of us (many of us) remain in fear or on edge: washing our hands, wearing our masks, and maintaining the required social distancing when in public. Churches have been ordered to shut down and a war is now on to save our very culture and freedom.
What has happened to America? And what will happen to America?
Is it possible that another, second plague of some form is about to spring forth -- one that mysteriously has been embedded in COVID? Does the enemy have something else planned, about to surface, that will try to destroy America? What will our ninth month bring, and what can we do about it?
Is God calling us into a new position, in this time of the Siege, that will either modify or stop entirely what the enemy has planned for us in the days ahead?

A Time to TAKE CAPTVITY CAPTIVE!
In searching our hearts to know how to stand for America in this hour, we can only come to one conclusion: it is time to REPENT.
Indeed, we are actually now in a season of repentance, based upon the Hebrew Calendar. For our Jewish friends, this is the month of Elul -- a time of repentance and of soul-searching in preparation for the Jewish New Year to follow.
GOD IS CALLING US TO REPENT!
Scripture actually shows us numerous examples where God actually stopped a plague when stopped a plague when God's people repented. We see one example in the Book of Numbers: Chapter 16:46-48.
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun.
And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
We see also:
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
> > > As we face this continued plague, and an uncertain future, let's determine to "rend our hearts and not our garments" in an act of true REPENTANCE. Perhaps our God will hear us, and show us His mercy again.
There is One who has ALL POWER: that one is GOD; may we seek Him now!
Our prayer for this time:
"Father God, as we continue to LAY SIEGE TO THE SIEGE that has been planned to take place in Washington, D.C., we come before You on bended knee, asking that You grant us Your mercy in our time of need. We ask, dear Lord, that You receive our act of REPENTANCE, and teach us Your ways, that we might not deviate from Your path.
Together, we ask that You stay the plague that has visited America, and quell the violence in our cities. Help us, O Lord, we pray. We thank You that it is written that "nothing is too difficult for Thee," in Your name, amen."
