Praying for our Attorney General
In his time in office as the Attorney General of the United States, William G. Barr has proven to be a champion in the fight for truth, justice and righteousness in governing our nation. A.G. Barr has also made the defense of our right to practice religious freedom a top-priority focus point in his administration.
As an example, we quote now excerpts from a commentary following his speech at the University of Notre Dame this spring:
Mr. Barr raised alarm over "the force, fervor, and comprehensiveness of the assault on religion we are experiencing today."
For anyone thinking this is some random force or natural course of history, he jolted a harsh warning.
"This is not decay. It is organized destruction," he said.
"Secularists and their allies among the 'progressives' have marshaled all the force of mass communications, popular culture, the entertainment industry and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values."
. . . Particularly alarming to Mr. Barr is the lust with which secular zealots go after personal, private religion.
"Militant secularists today do not have a 'live and let live' spirit," he said. "They are not content to leave religious people alone to practice their faith. Instead, they seem to take delight in compelling people to violate their conscience."
It is that very lust that leads political monsters to create untamable leviathans like Obamacare, which forces the Little Sisters of the Poor to violate their most precious religious convictions.
Is it any surprise, then, to see citizens turn on one another with the same evil lust?

As you join with us in offering the prayer, below, please allow the Holy Spirit to intercede through you, asking the A.G. Barr be granted wisdom, protection, and strength while he serves in this critical office for our nation. Thank you.
Today's Prayer:
Offered on behalf of our Attorney General, A.G. Barr
Father God, we pray for A.G. William Barr who is serving his second term as our federal Attorney General. He states that the polarization and politicization of the affairs of our nation are so much worse now than before during the years of the Rodney King riots. He was in office at that point in time also and thought it was bad then. It's much worse now.
Father, we continue to ask for his wisdom, tenacity and courage to continue to be on display for those who would mock, harass or accuse him of injustice. We thank You Lord that You have empowered this son of yours to stand firm, fast and unwaveringly in the face of hostilities. May he continue to stand in authority and not deviate from Your plans for righteousness and justice in this nation, neither may adversaries in the DOJ or elsewhere have any opportunity to bring trouble or opposition, in Jesus name.
We ask Lord also that You would guard William Barr's health and keep him strong and under Your great light. May His family be kept close to Your heart, covered under the shadow of Your wings and may Psalm 91 be released over all of them by night and by day. We decree a washing and renewing of their spirits after the hostile treatment of the recent Congressional committee toward him. May they all walk in forgiveness and holiness. in Jesus name. Amen.
