Laying Siege Over The Election - Dec 7, 2020

Laying a Siege over the Election Results

Today's Prayer Focus

The Battle for Georgia

INTRODUCTION

As we continue to contend against all fraud in our national election, today we will pause and consider another critical run-off election that is still on the radar:

On January 5, 2021 Georgia will determine which party controls the US Senate with two runoff elections.

In the state's regularly-scheduled US Senate election, first-term Republican David Perdue will go to a runoff against Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff.

There's also a special US Senate election taking place to determine who will fill the seat held by former Sen. Johnny Isakson, who resigned in late 2019 over health concerns, and serve out the rest of his term until 2022.

Republican Kelly Loeffler was appointed to the seat after Isakson's resignation. After competing in a complicated special election with 20 other candidates, on November 3 she competed in a runoff against Democrat Raphael Warnock, a senior pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. {Warnock advances a radical agenda, including
allowing for abortion on demand . . .)

Democrats will need to win both races in order to get to 50 seats in the Senate, which would allow Vice President-elect Kamala Harris to serve as the tie-breaking vote and give Democrats a narrow majority in the chamber.

Today's Commentary

These two remaining Senate seats are critical for the future of our nation for the following reasons:

If the Republicans hold the majority, then business will continue "as usual" for the next two years in Congress. In recent years, it is the Senate that has held the line, time and time again, and stopped progressive legislation passed in the House from becoming law. In addition, with the recent addition of Justice Amy Coney Barrett to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, the Senate has strengthened the conservative presence on that High Court.

However, should the Republican candidates lose that election in January, and the Democratic candidates win, everything will change. With a Democatic controlled Senate, that chamber will not stop the progressive agenda of the House and will instead align with it to pass myriads of laws with a socialist agenda.

Worse still, House Majority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, has stated that if they gain power on the Hill, and hence the ability to have the Senate work with them, they will pass legislation, permitting them to add more justices on the Court (allowed by law). Working with the Senate, the Democrats will "pack the Court" with liberal, socialist justices so that the conservative voices will be silenced.

In summary, should the Republicans lose the State of Georgia, we will lose control of two branches of government: the legislative and the judicial. Our federal government will be overrun by socialist radicals, and our freedoms will be in peril.

We must pray . . .

TODAY'S VERSE

Isaiah 33:22

IT IS WRITTEN:

"For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us."

Today's Prayer

Father God, without the correct vote being taken on January 5th in the State of Georgia, our nation is on the precipice of disaster.

In this place, we cry out to You in great distress, O God of Mercy, asking for help in time of need. We are reminded of the Israelites at the Red Sea, when they could hear the sound of Pharoah's chariots descending upon them.. Holy God, at that EXACT MOMENT (but not before), You parted the waters and the Israelites fled to safety.

And then, as Pharioh's men pursued Your people through that opening in the sea, You caused those waters to cave in upon them, as the wheels fell off their chariots, until there was no escape.

Lord God, as You did then, we trust that You can, and will, do so again. Let the "wheels of the chariots" of our enemy FALL OFF, disabling them from their wicked scheme. And then, Holy One, in their stunned condition, we cry out that each one might find salvation through the mighty Blood of the Lamb.

In Your Name we pray,

Amen
